    James Walker Morales

    The other day we talked about James Walker Morales who escaped from custody in Rhode Island for stealing rifles from the local Army Reserve armory in Worcester, Massachusetts back in 2015. The Army Times reports that he has been recaptured after he tried to rob a bank in Somerville, Massachusetts;

    State police spokesman David Procopio said troopers were in the area after a second attempted bank robbery in neighboring Somerville when a trooper spotted Morales walking. They said Morales ran, the trooper chased him for about two blocks and he was captured as he tried to jump a fence.

    Morales was set to be booked at a state police barracks in Medford on Thursday evening, authorities said. He couldn’t be reached for comment while in custody.

    Maybe they can hold on to him for the time being.

  • Teens torture special needs boy (Updated)

    The story is going around about a special needs teen who was tortured by four black teens in Chicago, first reported by local Chicago Fox32;

    Throughout the video, the victim is repeatedly kicked and hit, his scalp is cut, all while he is tied up with his mouth taped shut.

    At one point, the victim is held at knife point and told to curse President-elect Donald Trump. The group also forces the victim to drink water from a toilet.

    The suspects can be heard saying they want the video to go viral.

    Well, they got their wish, although they would probably recant if they could from jail.

    Do me a favor, if you would, if you have something racist to say, keep it to yourself so I don’t have to read your comments in court transcripts some day. I already have one commenter in moderation who thinks that racism is funny.

    UPDATE: Fox News says that they be charged with a hate crime. Now let’s hope that the prosecutor doesn’t trade it away for a confession.

    Austin Freni

    According to Fox29, Austin Frenti, a Fort Benning soldier who was supposed to deploy to the Middle East in a few months, is now laying in a hospital bed in Philadelphia after being assaulted by a group of thugs after the Mummers Parade on New Year Day;

    “Group of 10-15 guys walked by me (making) derogatory comments towards Austin’s Army jacket,” she explained.

    Then she says one of the young men struck Austin before others piled on.

    “Me and his girlfriend tried pulling them off and they hit us . We got hit in the face. She got thrown in the street,” his mom explained “He’s got to get plates put in his jaw and his mouth will be wired shut for the next eight weeks.”

  • John Taylor, oil tycoon scammer

    The New York Daily News tells the story of John Taylor who posed as an oil tycoon and businessman to scam a number of women across the country out of hundreds of thousands of dollars meeting the women on dating websites like Match.com;

    Alleged conman John Taylor stole nearly $360,000 after tricking at least 15 women he met online to give him access to their credit and personal information, prosecutors say.

    Taylor, who alternately posed as a businessman and an oil tycoon as he sweet talked his victims, was arrested Wednesday.

    The 46-year-old carried on romantic relationships with several of his victims who lived in Manhattan, Atlanta and Virginia, and racked up thousands of dollars in credit card charges in their names. When one woman confronted the conman he threatened to send explicit pictures of her to her employer, according to the complaint.

    From The New York Post;

    A woman ID’d only as Victim 2, who lives and works in Manhattan, began dating Taylor in April 2013 after meeting him on match.com.

    Under the guise of ordering furniture for her, he got her to give him personal info, including her Social Security number, so he could open a store credit account.

    But instead, he used the information to get an American Express card, on which he racked up $60,000 in charges, the complaint says.

    When Victim 2 confronted him about the bill, he promised to pay her back. But when she later pressed him about repayment, he allegedly threatened to send X-rated photos of her to her employer.

    “Have fun at [work],” Taylor allegedly mocked in a text to Victim 2, who gave screenshots of the messages to the FBI.

    Meanwhile, two other women, Victims 5 and 6, believed they were getting into lucrative business deals with Taylor after connecting on Seeking Arrangement.

    He allegedly told them he sought to start a business marketed toward “professional women” who could meet and become friends with each other, court papers say.

    Ladies, just stop, please.

  • Fake hate

    A University of Michigan student claimed that a man threatened to set her afire if she didn’t take off her hijab. MLive reports that she is now looking at charges of filing a false report.

    In Greenville, Mississippi, on November 1st, someone set fire to a Black church and spray-painted “Vote Trump” on the building. Andrew McClinton has been arrested for the arson. Here is his picture;

    Chris Suprun; faithless elector claims “self-dispatch” to 9-11 Pentagon

    Chris Suprun

    The other day, we talked about Chris Suprun, the “faithless elector” that claims he’ll vote against Trump in the Electoral College election today. We quoted from a WFAA article which says that Suprun wasn’t at the Pentagon on 9-11 like he claimed. Their suspicions were based on the premise that he hadn’t joined the Manassas Fire Department until after 9-11, which was true. Suprun now claims that he was working at the Dale City, Virginia fire department on 9-11 and that he “self – dispatched” himself to the scene.

    The Dale City Volunteer Fire Department in Prince William County, Virginia confirmed last (Friday) night that Chris Suprun was a member of the department on September 11, 2001. But the statement from Chief Christopher Hool also confirms there was no official response to the Pentagon by its members until 6:00 p.m. that evening.

    […]

    While the statement from Dale City VFD Chief Christopher Hool rules out an official response by Suprun or any other Dale City volunteer on the morning of September 11, older articles indicate Suprun’s response was not “official.” A 2012 Philadelphia Inquirer column by Daniel Rubin says Suprun and another volunteer self-dispatched after hearing about the incident and provided EMS services in a parking lot of the Pentagon until 6:00 p.m.

    Gateway Pundit discovers that Suprun had a membership on Ashley Madison – the cheaters’ website for married folks looking for discreet sex – while he was in bankruptcy and had three kids under the age of ten. So I guess this isn’t his first time being labeled as “faithless”.

    Chris Suprun; faithless elector’s stolen valor

    Chris Suprun

    Chris Suprun, a 42-year-old Republican presidential elector, wrote in the pages of the New York Times that he will not cast his vote for Donald Trump. For some reason, it seemed important to him to include this in his screed;

    Fifteen years ago, as a firefighter, I was part of the response to the Sept. 11 attacks against our nation. That attack and this year’s election may seem unrelated, but for me the relationship becomes clearer every day.

    WFAA writes that part about him being a first responder to the tragedy at the Pentagon appears in almost every paragraph he writes, but they call into question whether he was there or not;

    “He claimed to be a first responder with the Manassas Park [Virginia] Fire Department on September 11, 2001 and personally told us stories ‘I was fighting fire that day at the Pentagon.’ No, I was on a medic unit that day at the Pentagon and you make a phone call to Manassas Park and you find out that he wasn’t even employed there until October 2001,” said a first responder who knows Suprun and only agreed to speak about him if his identity was concealed.

    The City of Manassas Park confirmed to WFAA that it hired Suprun on October 10, 2001, one month after the 9/11 attacks.

    The fire chief there added that his department never even responded to the Pentagon or any of the 9/11 sites.

    “It’s no different than stolen valor for the military; dressing up and saying ‘Hey, I earned a Purple Heart’ when you weren’t even in combat.’ There’s a big difference between shopping at Old Navy and being a Navy SEAL,” said the first responder who knows him.

    He currently claims to be a paramedic in Dallas with a company that doesn’t exist there. Everyone’s got to be a hero.

  • Sergeant Julian Prezas pleads guilty

    Sergeant Julian Prezas pleads guilty

    Julian Prezas

    Army recruiter Sergeant Julian Prezas pleaded guilty to trafficking in arms to Mexican drug cartels according to UPI.

    U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia will sentence Prezas on March 23. Prezas admitted to acquiring 42 guns but a co-defendant who turned into an informant for agents working with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said Prezas sold him up to 74 weapons, including AR-15s and AK-47s.

    “It is, therefore, the recommendation of the Magistrate Judge that the guilty plea be acceptted and that a judgment of guilt be entered against the defendant,” Judge Henry J. Bemporad wrote in a court document.

    During an investigation, ATF agents used a confidential informant to buy weapons from Prezas in August 2015. The informant told Prezas the weapons would be smuggled into Mexico for the Gulf Cartel. In the plea agreement, Prezas said he and three other U.S. servicemen bought at least 42 guns to smuggle.

    Federal officers arrested Prezas in September 2015 while he carried 17 guns he was selling to the ATF informant.

    From Fox News;

    A lawyer for Prezas says he’s a decorated veteran who misunderstood regulations over the sale of guns.

    I’m sure he misunderstood regulations that prohibit selling guns to criminals across the border. Good luck with that, Prezas.
