Our old buddy Stewart Rhodes of the so called “Oath Keepers” – still running his suck.

Back in the early days of TAH there were the Blog Wars.  Some guy named Jonn and a bunch of others didn’t care much for Stewy and his klan.  I am just a loving and kinda forgiving guy so far be it for me to try and outshine the eloquence of one Jonn Lilyea on the matter:

“Yeah, the Oathkeepers, our sworn enemies led by former Ron Paul staffer, Stewart Rhodes, were the “source” for rumor. I wouldn’t believe Rhodes, an Adam Kokesh supporter, if my life depended on it. If you read further down the “article” you’ll see there no real reason to believe the story, it’s just a bunch of crackpots trying to stir up some shit;”

” Personally, I think that the Oathkeepers are more despicable.”

Let’s just say TAH as a general guideline doesn’t care for Patchy Rhodes very much.  His hysterical babbling and tin foil temperament are some of his better qualities.  I have lost count of how many posers/embellishers we have busted that were affiliated with his group.  It started out as an interesting group but quickly turned septic mostly due to the puss filled ego of its blowhard leader.

We all have variant opinions on the late Senator McCain but Stewy goes full batshit as if he has some breaking secret scoop about McCain that the average literate person didn’t have decades ago.  The irony of this one-eyed fat man claiming someone else built a reputation on lies and deception is just too rich.

Anyone interested in a trip down memory lane can put “Stewart Rhodes” in the search box at the top of the page.   There are one-eyed fat men that I admire…he just ain’t one of them.  I try not to link to sites that I think suck so you will have to look up OathKeepers on your own.  The interview was done by that guy over at The Next News Network.

  • Two Thirds of Veterans keep Guns as Decorative Brick

Two Thirds of Veterans keep Guns as Decorative Brick

It is amazing how two people can read the same data and come to completely different conclusions.

One third of United States Armed Forces Veterans store at least one firearm loaded with ammunition and unlocked, according to a new study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine that reports on the first survey of a nationally representative sample of this group regarding storage practices. Unsafe firearm storage practices appeared to be strongly related to perceptions about the need to keep firearms for protection. This easy access to lethal means increases suicide risk in an already vulnerable population.

At least 2/3 of you people have no idea what owning a gun is all about.  If a man speaks his opinion and there is no woman around to hear him…Is he still wrong?  If a bangy bangy thing is not loaded…is it really a gun?

“We know that nearly half of all US Veterans have firearms, and like many non-Veteran adults, it is common for them to store at least one gun loaded and unlocked. The challenge we uncovered, although I think we already suspected this, is that firearm safety practices are strongly related to whether individuals keep their firearms for protection,” explained lead investigator Joseph A. Simonetti, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Denver, CO, USA. “We recommend that VA providers work on communication strategies to enable Veterans to make informed decisions about firearm safety by balancing the perceived benefits of firearm access against the thoroughly demonstrated risks of that access for those with elevated suicide risk.”

Odd, these statistics seem to show that 2/3 of Veterans who own guns are irresponsible about the safety of their family by not being properly prepared to protect them.

The survey was completed by 3,949 US adults, of whom 561 were US Veterans who own firearms. The prevalence of unsafe firearm storage ranges substantially within the group surveyed, from 9 percent to 65 percent, across individual, household, and firearm ownership characteristics, and is strongly related to other firearm-related behaviors (e.g., carrying handguns), reasons for firearm ownership (e.g., protection versus other), number of firearms owned, and perceptions about the utility of guns stored safely and whether guns make homes safer.

Yep, I bet ya anything that an un-driven car is safer than one you actually drive.

Approximately one in three of the US Veterans who own firearms reported storing at least one of their firearms loaded and unlocked while 22.5 percent stored all of their firearms unloaded and locked. Sixty-six percent of Veteran firearm owners stored at least one firearm unlocked, and 46.7 percent stored at least one loaded.

Storing a firearm loaded and unlocked was more common among Veteran firearm owners who:

    • Disagreed that firearms should be stored unloaded and locked when not in use
    • Agreed that firearms are not useful for personal protection if the owner has to take time to load or unlock them
    • Agreed that having a firearm in the home makes the household safer

We get all kinds of reports.  There is always that small band of Mental Masturbators who seem to want to do little more than diddle their life away being scumbags.  Here is an example:

Some people take pride in being Integrity Retarded, they get their kicks by seeing how much of their own flatulence they can huff.  I realize there are women into Pegging and the Cuckold thing and they deserve to have someone to live out their dreams with.  I often wonder if their mothers were loving women that just wanted to be proud of their sons.  Or, maybe this kind of thing is all my fault for supporting their mothers during their donkey show at the hump hump bar.  I once spent a whole roll of quarters to watch one of these ladies drop them one by one into glasses of Tequila while…sorry I digressed.   Anyway,  I would like to apologize if some act of mine had unintended consequences and resulted in the conception of a few moral mongrels.

This one likes to play some kind of Air Force Kink too.

I don’t really have much time to play with Spike, but he seems lonely.   The sphincter of service has a Facebook Page if you are so inclined to visit with him.

In other news of this nature, there are still those who think Jonn gives a phuck what they think about him.  I know Jonn would like me to pass on the fact that it may not be possible for him to give a phuck less about them now that he is dead than he did when he was alive.   I checked the spam folders for someone today,  no living monument could be more satisfying to Jonn than knowing that he is still living large in the heads of those he exposed for what they are.     If a comment or two squeak through that say bad things about Jonn,  smile when you see them…I do.

    Tuesday morning feel good stories.

Elmira police are still investigating a home invasion early Sunday in which the intruder was shot, but police say the occupant who fired the shot will not be charged.

Police on Monday identified the suspect as Jason A. Lopez, 33, of Elmira.  Police officers responded at 6:12 a.m. Sunday to a residence in the 500 block of Perine Street for a report of a home invasion in progress.

Officers learned that the intruder had made entry into the residence and was shot by one of the occupants.

The resident shot Lopez with a 12-gauge shotgun which was legally possessed, police said. Lopez remained in a local hospital Monday receiving treatment for a single gunshot wound.

A burglary suspect caught in the act was detained at gunpoint by a Mooresville homeowner who shot at the man’s tire as he attempted to drive at him late Friday night, according to Iredell County Sheriff Darren Campbell.

The suspect, identified as Justin Scott Morgan, 31, was arrested by Iredell County deputies Aug. 24 after the homeowner’s wife called to report the burglary on Scottish Dive in northeast Mooresville shortly before 11 p.m., and told deputies that her husband had detained the suspect at gunpoint.  Morgan was still being held by the homeowners when deputies arrives on the scene.

  • Jack Henry Duncan – Fake SEAL

Jack Henry Duncan – Fake SEAL

The folks at Military Phony send us their work on Jack Henry Duncan, a retired Master Chief (E-9). This is a bit of an odd case.  Jack had an amazing Naval career and he received various decorations and awards.

This article highlighted Jack’s accomplishments on Veteran’s Day.

Jack Duncan enlisted in the Navy at age 18 out of Bakersfield, California.  he became an under water explosives technician, similar to what we would call a Navy Seal Today.  He also served in the Korean War and in the Vietnam War, a total of 43 years.

Jack will be 89 on June 26, 2014.   He says before he knew it he was on a PT boat and told to go “Kill Guys”.   He says he’s kind of a kill them all and let God sort ’em out kind of guy.

Jack wrote an article for the PT103 website about his exploits – a claim of attending UDT Training and a claim of being a Combat Demolition Swimmer.

    http://www.pt103.com/PT_Boat_Veteran_Stories.html

So, off to Fort Pierce and the Amphibious Base I went for a brief school before returning post haste to the Western Pacific (WestPac) as an Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) Swimmer – a Navy frogman. There are no torpedoes in UDT, subsequently named SEALs, so I changed my rating to Gunner’s Mate. The end of the conflict found me assigned to the Philippine Sea Frontier as a Navy policeman in war-ravaged Manila until 1946.

    [LINES DELETED]

Remember the term “fruit salad?” They also hung on my chest the Trident or Budweiser or Flying Pickle Fork gold pin of a Navy SEAL in addition to the Combat Craft device and the large badge of a Command Master Chief. Cripes, I looked like a Russian General with a port list!

As we previously stated Jack was a Master Chief, earned numerous awards, served in numerous commands and served for over 4 decades in the Naval Reserves.  Jack was in USNATB Fort Pierce, FL but did NOT complete UDT Training.  We checked all sources within the UDT/SEAL database/archives.  Fort Pierce at the time had numerous Naval schools.  The odd part is that on Jack’s Summary Sheet it shows UDT Device which in the 70’s they were shoulder tabs.  There is NO listing of UDT Training or any UDT/SEAL Commands.  In 1983 all UDT Teams converted to SEAL Teams so if he was UDT it would show in his record that he earned the SEAL Insignia (Trident).  Jack was part of the PT community and most likely attended Anti-Aircraft Training in Fort Pierce.  In conclusion, Jack was NOT UDT or a SEAL.

The distinction may be a challenge for people outside the UDT/SEAL community to follow but it is important nonetheless.  There is more supportive evidence over at Military Phony.
