US Army Deserter Found Nearly Two Decades Later in Indiana

An American man who deserted the U.S. Army nearly two decades ago has turned up working as a dishwasher at an Italian restaurant in Indiana, police say.

Robert Eugene Brodbeck’s cover was blown late last week after voluntarily walking into the Clinton Police Department and talking to officers due to a scuffle he had with a co-worker the day after Christmas.

“He worked jobs in things where he was paid in cash,” Larry Keller, dispatcher and records clerk for the Clinton Police Department, told the Indianapolis Star. “Nothing that ever required a Social Security number. He lived in a low-rent apartment. He walked everywhere and never had a driver’s license. He was really no trouble.”

But during conversations with police, the 46-year-old gave them the name Robert Eugene Bowmen — an alias that returned no matches in their databases.

Brodbeck eventually gave them his real identity after he learned they were preparing to arrest him for providing false information, the Indianapolis Star reported.

A search of Brodbeck’s past uncovered that he is wanted in Texas for dodging police and failing to appear in court — and that he deserted the Army in 2000, it added, although details of that alleged action weren’t immediately available.

Nothing like a career in Low Expectations.  WTF is this clown thinking.  He will get a lawyer now and the VA will be required to provide complete medical coverage and compensation including back pay because of his PTSD.

Somebody has to do the dishes…we need these people to be left alone.

Jailed American, Paul Whelan,  not exactly the Secret Squirrel Ivan was hoping for.

Russia’s deputy foreign minister is brushing back suggestions that an American being held in Moscow on suspicion of spying could be exchanged for a Russian.

I have no idea how useless a Russian would have to be in order for me to exchange a guy with a Bad Conduct Discharge from the Corps for him.   Let me think …  ah …  nah, Ivan can keep this dirtbag as long as he wants to.

Whelan’s Marine record also would likely prevent U.S. intelligence from hiring him. He began active duty with the Marines in 2003 and was deployed twice to Iraq, rising to staff sergeant. But his military career ended with a court martial in 2008, when he was convicted on charges that included attempted larceny and dereliction of duty.

Court documents released by the military show he was accused of attempting to steal more than $10,000 while on duty in Iraq, where he worked as a clerk, in September 2006. He was also convicted of using a false social security number and profile for a military computer system to grade his own examinations, and of writing 10 bad checks totaling around $6,000.

He was dropped two grades in rank and given a bad conduct discharge from the Marine Corps.

Let Putin feed his ass for a while.  Not sure where a guy that works for a Temp Agency gets money to travel.  He seems to like Russia, let him stay for a while.

Arthur James Dicken – Dead Phony SEAL

Most of you are familiar with AJ Dicken.  He has been posted here at TAH many times.  He assumed room temperature on  December 31.   I guess living with a festering puss filled ego finally rotted him from the inside out.   I get criticism sometimes for speaking ill of the dead … Arthur James Dicken cannot be spoken of in an ill enough manner for my liking.  Dicken did manage to get some classic Shipley attention.

If anyone wants to write about my life, I will have to be paid more than Dicken was offered for his bullshit story.  Some of my bullshit might actually be true.   At least AJ Dicken had the grace to die before the new year started.   2019 is looking better all the time.

I visited a lot of gravesites in 2018.  Some I honored … some I pissed on.

The video below has most of the story.  Don is always at his best when these clowns are at their worst.

Muslim Patrol Cars now on the streets of America

The notion that Muslims think there are streets in this country that are considered “theirs” to patrol is absurd.  I thought this was click bait being posted by a few loons but as it turns out it is real news.

The New York Police Department had to issue a statement saying that this Muslim Patrol is not sanctioned or endorsed by them.

New York’s Muslim community created a “security patrol” in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge neighborhood in November of 2018.  The “Muslim Community Patrol” car is outfitted to look like an NYPD vehicle, complete with a nearly identical logo.

But the police department told PJ Media that the vehicle is not sanctioned by the department and that it must obey the law.

It should be noted that other racial and religious groups in New York City have community patrols as well.

Ya, well I have no support for other “Religious” groups having patrol cars on the streets of America either.  It will be a matter of short time before these Patrols are out enforcing sharia law in parts of America now considered Muslim territory.

This kind of thing needs to be put to a stop. Maybe some of you support this … you know who you are.  I suspect if you do not support it then Liberals will consider your criticism of it a form of hate speech. Because feelings are more important than freedom.

  • Thomas Earl O’Neil – US Army Ranger in “The Mog,” Three Bronze Stars w/ “V”s, Three Purple Hearts

Thomas Earl O’Neil – US Army Ranger in “The Mog,” Three Bronze Stars w/ “V”s, Three Purple Hearts

The folks at Military Phony provide us their work on this Thomas Earl O’Neil fellow.

Thomas claims to have been in the Battle of Mogadishu and it was the worst 18 hours of hell that he has ever experienced.

You wouldn’t understand unless you were there…

He talks a lot about his buddies from The Mog, including CMOH recipients Master Sergeant Gordon and Sergeant First Class Shughart, whom O’Neil claims to have served alongside…

You may recall a lot of this was captured in the movie “Black Hawk Down” after the account was written up in the Philadelphia Inquirer by Mark Bowden.

But according to O’Neil, many of the survivors of the Battle of Mogadishu (Operation Gothic Serpent) are killing themselves and there are only a few left… O’Neil being one of them of course.

He claims three Bronze Star Medals with “V” for Valor and three “Purple Stars” – later corrected to “Purple Hearts.”  The image above clearly shows the Bronze Star and Purple Heart but it is hard to tell if they have additional awards on them.

Veteran suicide is a serious problem.  If what O’Neil says is true about veterans from the Battle of Mogadishu, who will be left to tell the story of what happened there?

Let’s see what Tom O’Neil’s records say.

According to his records, the Army does not seem to know anything about his 3 Bronze Stars for valor or anything about him being wounded in combat.

His picture appears to have a Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Marine Corps Combat Action Ribbon, Navy/Marine jump wings and a cacophony of other mysterious awards unaccounted for in his DD 214.

Tommy sounds like he is having a rough go of it lately, but I doubt it’s from him being in “The Mog.”  He accomplished more than enough for anyone to be proud of while he was in the military.  He has no reason to embellish his military career beyond recognition.

    The Anti-American Dream

As we begin the new year, let us take a few minutes to celebrate the ignorance of a Liberal Utopian delusion.   Educated ignorance is sadly epidemic.  The piously arrogant nature of those who lean well to the left is all too familiar to most of us around here.

If anyone wants to know why I hate Liberals and their professional victimhood they can expand their gnat-like attention span long enough to watch the video below.  I am still glad I voted for Trump because the alternative was repugnant and Anti-American.

Judge: Bars are allowed to throw out Trump supporters

A Manhattan judge ruled Wednesday that there’s nothing “outrageous” about throwing the president’s supporters out of bars — because the law doesn’t protect against political discrimination.

Philadelphia accountant Greg Piatek, 31, was bounced from a West Village watering hole in January 2017, just after Trump took the oath of office, for wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap, according to his lawsuit over the incident.

“Anyone who supports Trump — or believes in what you believe — is not welcome here! And you need to leave right now because we won’t serve you!” Piatek claims the staff of The Happiest Hour on West 10th Street told him after he and his pals complained about the rude service they were getting from a bartender.

So he sued in Manhattan Supreme Court, claiming the incident “offended his sense of being American.”

But on Wednesday, when the bar’s lawyer, Elizabeth Conway, pointed out that only religious, and not political, beliefs are protected under state and city discrimination laws, saying, “supporting Trump is not a religion” — Piatek pivoted.

“The purpose of the hat is that he wore it because he was visiting the 9/11 Memorial,” his attorney Paul Liggieri told Justice David Cohen in court Wednesday.

“He was paying spiritual tribute to the victims of 9/11. The Make American Great Again hat was part of his spiritual belief,” Liggieri claimed. Piatek and his pals had, in fact, visited the memorial before the bar.

“Rather than remove his hat, instead he held true to his spiritual belief and was forced from the bar,” Liggieri said.

When the judge asked how the bar employees were supposed to be aware of Piatek’s unusual religious beliefs, Liggieri answered, “They were aware he was wearing the hat.”

The judge pressed Liggieri on the idea of his client’s professed creed.

“How many members are in this spiritual program that your client is engaged in?” the judge asked.

“Your honor, we don’t allege the amount of individuals,” Liggieri said.

“So, it’s a creed of one?” the judge asked.

    “Yes, your honor,” Liggieri replied.

After nearly an hour of argument the judge took a short break and then returned to the bench with his ruling.

“Plaintiff does not state any faith-based principle to which the hat relates,” Cohen said in tossing the case.

Piatek had sued for unspecified emotional damages, but the judge said the incident amounted to nothing more than a “petty” slight.

“Here the claim that plaintiff was not served and eventually escorted out of the bar because of his perceived support for President Trump is not outrageous conduct,” the judge ruled.

Liggieri said he plans to review the decision to determine whether or not to appeal.

I threw people out of my bars/restaurants for all kinds of reasons.  Mostly for becoming a disturbance to the rest of my patrons or being disrespectful to my staff.

Spiritual Trumpism is dubious at best and attempting to defend it in court is a waste of resources.

One day the concept of Mutual Respect may come back into fashion.  A citizens duty to defend people with whom they disagree is requisite in a free society.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren has announced she is forming an exploratory committee as she considers whether to seek the Democratic nomination for president in 2020.

In a video emailed to supporters, Warren recounted her own working class background and her work strengthening consumer financial protections.
