Most of you are familiar with AJ Dicken. He has been posted here at TAH many times. He assumed room temperature on December 31. I guess living with a festering puss filled ego finally rotted him from the inside out. I get criticism sometimes for speaking ill of the dead … Arthur James Dicken cannot be spoken of in an ill enough manner for my liking. Dicken did manage to get some classic Shipley attention.
If anyone wants to write about my life, I will have to be paid more than Dicken was offered for his bullshit story. Some of my bullshit might actually be true. At least AJ Dicken had the grace to die before the new year started. 2019 is looking better all the time.
I visited a lot of gravesites in 2018. Some I honored … some I pissed on.

Arthur James Dicken Jr., 62, of Pea Ridge, died December 31, 2018 at his home.
He was born May 24, 1956 in Phoenix, Arizona to Arthur James Dicken, Sr. and June Laree Davis Dicken. He moved to area five years ago to make his home and worked at Ace Hardware in Pea Ridge before retiring. He was very involved with his children’s activities and helped coach his sons youth sports teams. He loved to fish and talk about art. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terry Dicken.
One of the biggest battles of the Civil War in the west occurred at Pea Ridge AR in 1862. It would be fitting if the honored dead from that battle kick his ass on a daily basis in the Great Hereafter…
Thanks for that Combat Historian. you had me. I thought, “A big battle I never heard of!” Well, I knew it as the Battle of Elkhorn Tavern and your comment prompted me to re-read about it. One thing that caught my attention was some info about the soldiers’ reunions there. Men from both sides gathered on a number of occasions and–horror of horrors as it would be viewed by Confederate monument destroyers today–they joined as one in dedicating a monument to the men from BOTH armies who fought there and died there.
It’s like Bull Run and Manassas, and Antietam and Sharpsburg; these battles all have two names…

Interesting that the TV anchors in the YouTube video said he “sounded so convincing.” They never spoke to the clown other then to confront him about his scams.
I can see how the doctors got scammed. The wanted to turn there almost $800,000 into a much larger number, (even though one of the doctors said that they wanted to build clinics in an improvised land.) Greed can sometimes make an otherwise cautious person do stupid things. Now it looks like the are trying to save their investment.
How did this AJ Dicken clown happen to die? Was his death “unexpected” as the term goes?
Final thought- old AJ looked like a real piece of work. Walking around with all of the SEAL gear on must have made the casual observer wonder if all former SEALS were a piece of work.
I like how that news anchor tells us that Dickens claimed to be a Navy Seal of the “Special Forces”. And then that dipshit TV producer paid Dickens $50,000 for his life story, to be called “A Soldier’s Story”.

He had no redeemable qualities and his life served no real purpose other than to be generally offensive and set a bad example. His greatest notoriety was second place for the Nobel prize for bullshitting. His passing goes to prove there is a God and good eventually triumphs over evil. He will not be missed except for worms and other creatures of the earth who would otherwise starve.
