  • Our Plan Is The Best Plan Ever

I found an article at ‘The Guardian’ that reviewed George Soros’s failures. It’s obvious that the writer likes Soros, but he does not gloss over the failures.  https://www.theguardian.com/news/2018/jul/06/the-george-soros-philosophy-and-its-fatal-flaw

One of those failures – Soros’s biggest –  is not understanding that this country is a democratic republic, not a democracy, and that’s why it works so well. Democracies fail. When Rome stopped being a republic and became a democracy as idealized by Pericles and Cleisthenes in Athens, it began to fail. Soros thinks that the USA is a democracy, which is incorrect.

We should outlast Rome, if we don’t fiddle with it.

He really disliked Bush’s war-oriented reaction, a completely natural response, to the 9/11 hijackers’ use of passenger planes as flying bombs, and a means of committing mass murder. It was warlike and reactionary (no, really?) and should have been less aggressive, according to Soros. Yes, let’s do appease those who wish to kill us in large groups.

He thinks Trump is a dictator. Trump is a lot of things, but a dictator? Not even! He’s just really good with timing. I’ve seen stopwatches that are less accurate. He knows how to throw a bone out there with a string attached to it and reel in the fish that swallowed it. I’m sure he could successfully herd cats.

The Guardian’s rather interesting article is about Soros’s complete failure to understand how important capitalism is to a prosperous and healthy economy. This is really quite odd, because he’s a hedge fund manager, someone who manipulates financial markets to make a profit. That is pure, unadulterated, unfiltered capitalism. There’s a real serious disconnect there.

Per The Guardian article, Soros seems to be slipping further to the Left of the political spectrum. He looks at Hungary’s Orban as a “dictator” the same way he looks at Trump. Is this some kind of ‘turf jealousy’? I must pay more attention to Hungary. This is interesting.

Where else in Europe is this going on? Oh, that’s right: Germany. They just had their elections.

Merkel is not going for a 5th term. The AfD party (right-wing) received 12%+ of the most recent vote and now has a seat in the German parliament, while Merkel’s two centrist parties (CDU and SPD) lost votes. She can no longer achieve a majority vote, so she’s giving up. I think our two-term president rule is much better. We really don’t want a Prezzie for life, like Xi Jinping. Even Vlad Putin is slipping in popularity. This ain’t Venezuela.

Soros is the guy who shorted the British pound sterling in 1991-1992 and got it yanked out of EU circulation. It was generally described as ‘breaking the pound’. Remember our brief recession then? You think there’s no connection?  Soros is a financial speculator, not an investor. Taking that into consideration, I would like to know how many fingers he had in the US financial pie prior to the disastrous collapse of US financial markets in 2009. And how much did his hedge fund profit from it? Understand that when you manipulate financial markets the way he can, you can trip over your own hubris.

As much practice as he’s had, he could have done to the US dollar, the basis for international currency values and trade support, what he did to the British pound. If you understand that, you’ll know how close we came to a worldwide financial disaster.

The Guardian’s final paragraph:  “Presently, Soros’s cosmopolitan dreams remain exactly that. The question is why, and the answer might very well be that the open society is only possible in a world where no one – whether Soros, or Gates, or DeVos, or Zuckerberg, or Buffett, or Musk, or Bezos – is allowed to become as rich as he has.”

Think about that for a minute: a world where NO ONE is allowed to become wealthy or rise from poverty to a better life. NO ONE. Ask people who finally were allowed to leave the Soviet Union and subsequently, Russia, what that feels like. Strangely, many of them are like my skating teacher, who is Polish by birth, and Russian immigrants, and who found a home and support in Skokie, IL, when they got here, and were able to get right on track to a better life.

We have pockets of severe poverty in this country, places like the Big Ugly district in WV, in the heart of coal country, where people are having a desperate struggle for basics and the kids want books and school time. https://www.stepbystepwv.org

In this country, a West Virginia coal country teenager with the stuff of dreams in his head can learn to build rockets and go to work for NASA, like Howard Hickam did.

In a “Soros cosmopolitan society”, it won’t happen. There’s no moving forward, no progress, no inventiveness, no exploration, no discovery. Stagnation is what happens instead. Why else would the Soviets look for people in the US to sell them classified information on engineering and rocket science?

Stagnation and decay – yes, that’s a real good way to muck up a thriving economy. Even China knows better than that. Don’t weep for poor old Venezuela or Cuba. Some day, Maduro and the Castros will die. Then what do you think will happen?

It’s the struggles that make us who we are, not waiting to be handed ‘stuff’ or told what to do, which is how Soros thinks things should be done. He does not understand squat about human beings at all. A strong rise occurred in England’s economy during the reign of Elizabeth I because she had enough good sense to get out of the way of people who had good ideas. She also had excellent advisers at her back. Ditto for Queen Victoria.  None of us – not a single one of us – needs permission to think for ourselves or to speculate about the shape of things to come.

Does what Soros want sound like a dictatorship to you? It does to me. Sounds like the “benevolent” dictator who thinks he knows better than you do what is best for you. Soros doesn’t seem to have even the slightest understanding of humans as a competitive species. This is quite odd, because his entire life has been aimed at acquisition of wealth in a competitive industry. So it’s okay for him, but not for us?

Yeah, well, he can take his cosmopolitan twinkle twaddle and stick it right where the sun don’t shine. These gasbags all fail in that they are just as mortal as the rest of us, but they do not recognize it. Ask Stalin about his brain cramp, which killed him. After he was discovered dead in his bedroom, Krushchev took the reins and things began to loosen up, a millimeter at a time until finally, the USSR ceased to exist because its war of acquisition in Afghanistan had bankrupted an already stagnant economy.

I’ll repeat what The Guardian says about Soros’s failures: The system that allows George Soros to accrue the wealth that he has created has proven to be one in which cosmopolitanism will never find a stable home.

The open (cosmopolitan) society is only possible in a world where no one – whether Soros, or Gates, or DeVos, or Zuckerberg, or Buffett, or Musk, or Bezos – is allowed to become as rich as Soros has.  – Article

You all have a good week, and go vote on Tuesday (if you haven’t already).

  • ‘Hitman in a Porno Movie’ Update!

    crenshaw

SNL’s Pete Davidson Mocks GOP Candidate Dan Crenshaw, Who Lost His Eye in Afghanistan

I don’t usually post pop culture or social media, but this smarmy little pansy managed to irritate me, taking cheap shots at a much better man. Somehow I doubt this Pete Davidson (who?) person has the stones to mock former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw to his face.

Saturday Night Live host Pete Davidson mocked the appearance of former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw, who lost his eye fighting terrorists in Afghanistan, comparing the Republican candidate to a “hitman in a porno movie.”

“This guy is kind of cool — Dan Crenshaw,” Davidson began. “You may be surprised to hear he’s a Congressional candidate from Texas and not a hitman in a porno movie.

“I’m sorry, I know he lost his eye in war, or whatever,” he added.

Crenshaw, a former lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy, now running for office in Texas’s 2nd Congressional District, lost his eye in active service. According to a biography from his campaign website, Crenshaw was “hit by an IED blast during a mission in Helmand province, Afghanistan.”

The best way to shut these snowflakes up is to get out and vote. I would love to see a repeat of the 2016 Presidential Election Tuesday night.

The entire article is at Breitbart News if you can stomach it.

    Update

SNL and NBC have received lots of well deserved derision about Davidson’s crass comments about a wounded veteran. Dan Crenshaw is a class act, and has this to say:

“[I]t wasn’t even funny. Right? It was not original, it was not funny, it was just mean-spirited and that’s how I feel about it,” Crenshaw told TMZ.

“I want us to get away from this culture where we demand apologies everytime someone misspeaks,” Crenshaw said. “I think that would be very healthy for our nation to go in that direction.”

“We don’t need to be outwardly outraged. I don’t need to demand apologies from them. They can do whatever they want.” He acknowledged that Davidson and NBC are likely “feeling the heat from around the country right now”

“But I would like him and ‘Saturday Night Live’ to recognize something, which is that veterans across the country probably don’t feel as though their wounds they received in battle should be the subject of a bad punchline for a bad joke,” Crenshaw said.

Of course, representatives from both SNL and NBC are mute on the subject. However, the National Republican Congressional Committee tweeted Sunday morning that Davidson and NBC “should immediately apologize to Dan, and to the millions of veterans and military families who tune in every weekend — because they’re not laughing.”

Although I have no specific data, I could disagree with the “millions of veterans and military families who tune in,” part, but point taken.

For those who haven’t yet, get out Tuesday and VOTE!

  • 11/6/18 is only 5 days away

Yes, I knew those Polish soldiers would get your attention. There’s a reason I posted it. Anyone besides me remember Lech Walesa?

The Fox News article below is a couple weeks old, but still has validity.

    http://insider.foxnews.com/2018/10/15/jobs-not-mobs-stuart-varney-sharp-contrast-between-gop-dems-midterm-messaging

Democrats are leaning on divisive rhetoric and encouraging mob rule. Using mob rule to get what you want is not something new. Robespierre used it to his advantage to whip up the mob frenzy that sent Louis XIV  and his ditzy wife Marie Antoinette to the guillotine. Unfortunately , it backfired on him and he was sent to the same fate by the Council that he had started. Mussolini was hung. Hitler blew his own brains out in his bunker. The Gang of Four in China were arrested, tried, and punished. Stalin’s iron grip on the USSR eroded with his death from a stroke. It went belly up in 1989. Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge thugs were routed by the Vietnamese Army after several murderous years, and Cambodia had a new government.

Unfortunately, it is not working well for the Democrats. Brett Kavanaugh did get voted into the bench of the Supreme Court. And Lindsey Graham finally found his feet and gave the Democrats what-for.

As Stuart Varney indicates in the article, so-called “activism” is more oriented toward mob behavior than anything else, and the Lefterd side of the fence has not displayed any interest in reducing the turmoil.

“I haven’t seen a single leading Democrat say, ‘Hey, tone this down, stop this mob rule, stop this confrontation,’” Varney said on “Fox & Friends” Monday. – article.

No, and you won’t. If this is a continuing trend, and not even one of the Democrats is saying ‘this is going too far’, then they are complicit. Period. It is a mistake on their part to think it works to their advantage to condone it by not speaking out against it.

There are anti-Trump op-ed pieces in the local newsrag all the time, with no acknowledgement at all that the economy has drastically improved since Trump took office. Nothing. They report the incredible financial deficit, as if none of Trump’s predecessors ever incurred debt. They want the “free health care for everyone” but no reference to who will pay for it, as if the cash to pay the bills just magically falls out of the sky. I could go on, but I want to keep this short.

I’m having some solace in watching this episode of “Pot Boiler Politics”, knowing that the midterms are only a few days away. It is more important than ever that you vote in every election, even if it’s a pain in the neck. The Venezuelan rule about voting is that you are only qualified to buy food if you have a voter ID card. And of course, the Soviet Union had only one party running, with a 99% turnout each time, so qualifying to buy food may have meant “Show your voter ID and ballot ticket”.

Stay tuned. The midterm vote is next Tuesday. I expect to see some turmoil, shouting, and more angst, even if it rains buckets. And I believe there will be some turmoil, somewhere.

Buckle your seat belts. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride. (Thanks, Bette!)

  • Yes, There Is a Cure

It seems that civilization in these United States is being impaired in its forward progress by a new, and previously unintended consequence: the use of certain words, which create anxiety attacks, hysterics, screaming fits, bouts of howling anger, angst-ridden episodes of curling up on the floor in a corner, with one’s face buried in the knees.

The problem appears to be that there are individuals –  many, many individuals, in fact – whose emotions are just below the level of the boiling pot, with the result that they will suffer these howling, angst-ridden screaming tantrums.

All of this overt hyper-emotional anxiety is triggered by the use of words related to colors. The mind seems to immediately create an angry reaction to the mere sound of a word, without any basis for it other than an embedded habitual response, which has evolved into the word ‘triggering’. (I thought Trigger was a horse. What do I know?)

I was not sure as to whether or not there was a name for this strange disorder. However, in digging, I have found the following items:

Chromophobia. Chromophobia (also known as chromatophobia or chrematophobia) is a persistent, irrational fear of, or aversion to, colors and is usually a conditioned response. While actual clinical phobias to color are rare, colors can elicit hormonal responses and psychological reactions.

Leukophobia is the fear of the color white. The origin of the word leuko is Greek (meaning white) and phobia is Greek (meaning fear).

Melanophobia is fear of the color black or the use of the word ‘black’.

Other color phobias have names as well:

Porphyrophobia: fear of the color purple or the word “purple”.

Xanthophobia: fear of the color yellow or the word “yellow”.

Erythrophobia: fear of the color red, or the word “red”.

The problem with such phobias is that they funnel the already narrow perceptions of the sufferers into over-reacting to either hearing the words or to the colors themselves, and now those reactions appear to be morphing into near-explosive elevations, as seen in confirmation hearings for a new member of the US Supreme Court, and the more recent episode of some blonde newsreader who used the world ‘black’.

Interestingly, there is another phobia that may have something to do with the hyper-emotional response to the use of certain words and colors: it is nomophobia: fear of being without cellphones. In fact, these two phobias: chromophobia and nomophobia may run hand in hand with each other.

If you’re wondering as to whether or not these benighted souls can recover from their self-induced phobic states, there is good news. Therapy is available (for a fee, of course) that allows the “sufferer” to face his/her/its phobia directly and learn to live with it, while discarding the nearly automatic response of a 3-year-old throwing a temper tantrum on the floor over Mom’s use of the word “NO”.

Whether or not there is medication included depends on the practitioner’s licensing.  Medicine can be prescribed, but medications can have side effects and/or withdrawal systems that can be severe. It is also important to note that medicines do not cure phobias. At best, they only temporarily suppress the user’s response. The usual treatments for phobias include counseling, hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and neurolinguistic programming, which simply means a lot of talking and repeated exposure to the object of the phobia, including hearing other people use the word and seeing them wearing the color.

So there you go: when people start going ape-shit over someone’s using a word that means a specific color, or over seeing a specific color in use, it’s certainly plausible and even helpful to calmly recommend that they get some professional help with this particular phobia, and quickly, too, before it destroys their entire lives!!!

Maybe if you can convince them to do that, they’ll stop eating detergent pods and snorting condoms.

  • Packages sent to Joe Biden, Robert De Niro match other suspicious packages

Packages sent to Joe Biden, Robert De Niro match other suspicious packages

The packages addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden and Robert De Niro were found Thursday.

A suspicious package found Thursday at the building housing Robert De Niro’s office in downtown Manhattan and another addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden discovered in Delaware are similar to the pipe bombs found a day earlier sent to political and media figures, according to law enforcement officials.

The package addressed to Biden was discovered at a postal facility in New Castle, Delaware, officials said. They suspected Wednesday that the package was somewhere within the postal system.

A building worker in New York called authorities around 4 a.m. about the package addressed to De Niro, an official said. The employee called because after seeing news reports about other pipe bombs, he remembered seeing the suspicious package a day or two earlier, the official said.
I can not be alone in wondering if this is all being done by some Libtarded Loon to make the Right look bad.   These packages do not seem to be designed to hurt anyone…just get attention.  Too Lefty by design.  I would not put it past DeNiro to make his own package so he could get a little attention.   Whoever it is, I hope they track them down sooner than later.

A Congregation of Bigoted Cretins Endorsed by the Pentagon – Says Mikey Weinstein

Mikey “The Jew-ish Hate Mongerer” Weinstein is up to his fundraising again.  Again he conjures up Holocaust references and likes to paint anyone who exposes him for what he really is as Antisemitic.   I am one of the first people that sounds the alarm about religious zealots.  Frank Gaffney is one of these guys that defines what most call the Alt-Right.  He is not my cup of tea.  He has a long history of publishing conspiracy theories and tin foil religious dogma.   Mikey rants his Hate-ish blabber to draw a crowd like a snake oil salesman.

Mickey Weinstein: Four active duty lieutenant generals (three-star generals) were present at this gathering of lunatic bigots, gleefully serving up a dangerous endorsement of Gaffney’s hateful Islamophobic ideology.

What makes this assemblage of racist haters so particularly heinous? Well, how about this; four active duty lieutenant generals (three-star generals) were present at this gathering of lunatic bigots, gleefully serving up a dangerous endorsement of Gaffney’s hateful Islamophobic ideology, in stark contrast with the strict mandates of equal opportunityand nondiscrimination that the armed services are sworn to uphold. As noted in the Intercept, “In 2015, Gaffney had prominent white nationalist Jared Taylor on his radio show, ‘Secure Freedom Radio.’ Gaffney praised Taylor’s website, American Renaissance, as “wonderful.” White supremacist Jared Taylor, one may recall, was a fellow-traveler with the torch-wielding Neo-Nazi group that murdered Heather Heyer in Charlottesville last year, and was subsequently praised by the coward Donald Trump as “very fine people”.  Turns out Trump and his minions and sycophants haven’t given up the scapegoating of American Muslims in the armed services to promote their own hideous white supremacist, fundamentalist Christian agenda.

This kind of nonsense being spewed by a man that believes he was born with superior genetics that grants him access to the hereafter where the best the rest of us can hope for is an opportunity to serve him and his ilk is the very definition of ironic.  Mikey has several minions who troll our site looking for anything that could be used to gain them some attention.  After years and years of correcting people about Mikey not being an Atheist, I decided to point out the fact that he is a Jew in a profound manner.  I believe he has downplayed his religious affiliations to get donations from many in the Atheist community.  People like Frank Gaffney make it easy for Mikey to peddle his perpetual victim status as a Jew.

As I have stated before, if people think President Trump has strange ideas…wait until they find out what Pence thinks.

Not only are these Lieutenant Generals failing to uphold their own sacred, sworn oaths; but, they are actively participating in the ignominious perversion, subversion, and destruction of the same. These Lt. Generals, and all who supported their participation in this charade of shame hosted by Gaffney, MUST be visibly and expeditiously punished. Their projection is merely the smokescreen for Gaffney and his lackeys to justify their long-running atrocities; their silence on genuine concerns for human rights is deafening. Theirs is not a nuanced and substantive criticism of Jihad or Wahhabism – it’s an ugly, broad-brush, and insipidly petulant whine for racial “purity” for its own sake. Why? Because, tragically, these Lt. Generals clearly do not fundamentally disagree with the tactics of these extremist perversions of Gaffney and his repellant ilk of Islamophobes. Indeed, their highly visible and official participation in his we hate all Muslims orgy abomination of just forty-eight hours ago reeks of full Pentagon endorsement and delight to provide universal succor and assistance to such filth.

Gaffney aligns himself with the likes of the Thomas Moore Law Center that has supported nonsense like forcing Creationism into public school science classes.  I supported and helped fund the  Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District case where we humiliated and exposed them as religious zealots.  Mikey takes these kinds of issues and dips them in hysterical liberal-ish propaganda and sells it to the gullible.

I disagree with Gaffney on many levels, but I think we would both agree that Islam is a disease of the mind.  Gaffney and Weinstein do not seem to realize they too suffer from the same type of disease.  If you are American and do not have a healthy skepticism of Islam, you are naive.  If you fall for the hysterical rants of Mikey Weinstein then you are just gullible.  Members of the military should have the right to religious freedom regardless of their rank.

Rosie O’Donnell wants military to ‘get’ Trump from White House | Fox News

Rosie O’Donnell, a notorious critic of President Trump, said Thursday she wants U.S. armed forces to remove him from the White House.

“I want to send the military to the White House to get him,” O’Donnell said on MSNBC, as host Nicolle Wallace discussed Trump’s threats to have the military “close” the U.S.-Mexico border amid reports a massive migrant caravan is en route to the area.

The former talk show host also reflected on a previous suggestion to impose martial lawto delay President Trump’s inauguration.

“When he was elected what I wrote on Twitter was we should impose martial law until we make sure the Russians weren’t involved in the final tallies of the vote,” she said. “People were like, ‘Martial law? What’s wrong with you? You’re a lunatic.’”

For years, O’Donnell and Trump have partaken in a bitter, back-and-forth feud.

She said Thursday that the night he won the presidency, she “got physically sick.”

“It took me a good year to compose myself to be in public again,” she said. “I took a year out of the spotlight.”

I am happy she has managed to compose herself.  Most of these “has been” celebrities types do not seem to realize that people could care less what they think.

  • And It Gets Even More Embarrassing….

Nothing really ever surprises me. Now it appears that Chicago-style voting is moving down to Texas. These putas odiosas were really rather bold about it, too, until they got caught.

I believe there will be more to come on this issue, but it really is old hat in Chicago. The difference is that you can’t prove those dead voters are really dead until you try to track them down.

These gals are amateurs. They should have moved to Chicago to learn how to do it right.

    https://www.star-telegram.com/news/local/community/fort-worth/article219920740.html

Here’s another article on it, with mug shots of these lovely ladies. Put down the  adult beverage first.

    https://empowertexans.com/features/first-arrests-made-in-fort-worth-voter-fraud-ring/

I don’t see anything in those articles that says they’re going after dead voters, but you never know when that could start, right? If they looked hard enough, there have to be voters from the Spanish-American War that haven’t voted in quite a long time.

I’m sure there is more to come on this, because the articles indicate that these idiotas mentirosos were part of a voter fraud ring, so stay tuned.
