  • Ex-Marine Ken O’Keefe of the Mavi Marmara

    Few people actually qualify for the label “bat shit crazy”, but Ken Nichols O’Keefe truly does qualify. He claims that he was a Marine in Desert Storm and that even then he railed against his superiors;

    As a Marine I spoke out openly about abuse of power by my “superiors” and as a consequence I paid a heavy price. I realised that honour and integrity were virtues which are often punished rather then rewarded and the Marines supplied me with my first serious taste of injustice.

    I guess injustice tastes like MREs. So anyway, after he left the Marines, he rescued sea turtles and became a member of the “Lawful Hawaiian Government” – apparently it’s a group of Hawaiians who couldn’t get elected legally so they founded their own government which makes laws they can’t enforce. More Leftist mental masturbation.

  • The face of treason

    Specialist Bradley Manning was arrested this weekend for perpetrating the Wikileaks video release. He has bragged that he was also responsible for countless other release according to Wired;

    He said he also leaked three other items to Wikileaks: a separate video showing the notorious 2009 Garani air strike in Afghanistan that Wikileaks has previously acknowledged is in its possession; a classified Army document evaluating Wikileaks as a security threat, which the site posted in March; and a previously unreported breach consisting of 260,000 classified U.S. diplomatic cables that Manning described as exposing “almost criminal political back dealings.”

    “Hillary Clinton, and several thousand diplomats around the world are going to have a heart attack when they wake up one morning, and find an entire repository of classified foreign policy is available, in searchable format, to the public,” Manning wrote.

    Wired.com could not confirm whether Wikileaks received the supposed 260,000 classified embassy dispatches. To date, a single classified diplomatic cable has appeared on the site: released last February, it describes a U.S. embassy meeting with the government of Iceland. E-mail and a voice mail message left for Wikileaks founder Julian Assange on Sunday were not answered by the time this article was published.

    The State Department said it was not aware of the arrest or the allegedly leaked cables. The FBI was not prepared to comment when asked about Manning.

    Of course, he was turned in by a former hacker who wasn’t so disturbed by the release of the “Collateral Murder” video as he was about the 2009 diplomatic communications. So I guess he was politically motivated to rescue Obama and Clinton from the evil clutches of whistleblowers.

    I’m surprised that CID agents took valuable time away from harassing bloggers to arrest this guy, who was benign compared to antics of folks releasing ORBs of terrorists.

    Thanks to Junior AG for the link. More from Jimbo.

  • But we knew that already.

    We just need you to say it yourself.

    First meet Greta Berlin Seems like your standard Professor with many different credentials in various academic subjects and teaching it on to the next generation.

    Well seems that she was a major player in organizing the ships to try to run past the Blockade. But it gets interesting with this quote from her about why the ships did not dock in Egypt.

    “This mission is not about delivering humanitarian supplies, it’s about breaking Israel’s siege on 1.5 million Palestinians,” she said.

    So it was never about getting aid into Gaza but “helping” the Palestine People Hamas from the blockade.

    Of course Hamas is all in support of these suppliers of blank market crayons.

    “The occupation’s threat to prevent the Freedom Flotilla from arriving in the besieged Gaza Strip is Zionist piracy and a violation of international law,” senior Hamas leader Ismail Radwan said in a statement.

    “The occupation is concerned about these ships… because they grant legitimacy to engagement with the Palestinian government and confirm that the attempts to isolate Hamas have failed,” he added.

    So in the end it is all about politics and nothing more.

  • Mojave Cross thief (?) writes to paper

    A person purporting to be the person who stole the Mojave Desert cross wrote to to a local newspaper explaining the crime the other day. Some highlights;

    1. The cross in question was not vandalized. It was simply moved. This was done lovingly and with great care.

    2. The cross has been carefully preserved. It has not been destroyed as many have assumed.

    3. I am a Veteran.

    6. Anthony Kennedy desecrated and marginalized the memory and sacrifice of all those non-Christians that died in WWI when he wrote: ‘Here one Latin cross in the desert evokes far more than religion. It evokes thousands of small crosses in foreign fields marking the graves of Americans who fell in battles — battles whose tragedies are compounded if the fallen are forgotten.’ The irony and tragedy of that statement is unique.

    7. Justice Kennedy’s words in particular and others like them from the other Justices caused me to act.

    So I guess we’ve reverted to a vigilante system of justice now. If we don’t like a law, we’re free to violate the entire justice to make things the way we want. First, I doubt the clown is a veteran, unless he’s like a Robert Dennen or Jim Starowitz, and he didn’t do it alone – which makes me doubt this is even the person who took the cross.

    I wonder if this doofus takes down crosses along the side of the road remembering the victims (or perpetrators) of car crashes. The crosses are clearly religious markers and on government property.

  • Gordon Duff the military expert

    gordon-duff-photo

    We’ve spent a little bit of time highlighting the writings of Gordon Duff, the senior editor of Veterans Today, the special place on the internet for crackpots and crazies to exchange their irrational conspiracy theories. For example, a month ago, I wrote about Duff’s theory that all of the Vietnam POWs were given amnesty for the time they were imprisoned just to protect John McCain.

    Before that, TSO wrote about Duff‘s interpretation of the James O’Keefe’s “black bag operation”. Last September, I wrote about Duff’s definition of military service. Last month, I wrote about his blaming Mossad for the attack on the Moscow subway system.

    His bio says;

    Gordon Duff is a Marine Vietnam veteran, grunt and 100% disabled vet. He has been a featured commentator on TV and radio including Al Jazeera and his articles have been carried by news services around the world. He has been a UN Diplomat, defense contractor and is a widely published expert on military and defense issues.

    Yes, he was a Marine Vietnam veteran. His service record;

  • Nissan bomb fails

    According to the Wall Street Journal, a Nissan Pathfinder containing three propane tanks, timing devices and fireworks failed to explode in Times Square last night;

    “It appeared that [the bomb] was in the process of detonating and malfunctioned,” said police spokesman Paul Browne.

    A street vendor alerted a policeman on mounted patrol—Wayne Rhatigan, 47 years old, a 19-year-veteran of the force. In an interview, Mr. Rhatigan said he smelled gunpowder coming from the vehicle and went toward it, thinking it could explode at any second. He grabbed two other officers to help move people away from the smoking Pathfinder as he called for backup at 6:34 p.m.

    Where are the folks who always pointed at the CIA or president for these types of distractions from the administration’s current policies in the prior eight years? Of course with the number of terrorists in New York yesterday for the May Day protests of Arizona’s immigration laws, it’ll probably hard to track down the real perpetrators.

    new-york-may-day

    ADDED: Jimbo quotes Bill Roggio on claims of a Pakistani Taliban commander accepting responsibility.

    In the tin foil hat category, Gordon Duff says the Mossad planted the bomb. I think I’ve had enough of Gordon Duff. Stop by tomorrow for his military records which I’ve been sitting on for six months.

  • Tea Party horror story

    Claymore sent us a link to a Democratic Underground discussion in which a DUmmy tries to tell the story about how an evil “teabagger” on a three-wheeled motorcycle with a “huge American flag” on the back terrorized her poor hippie family as they were driving to the Whole Foods store to buy a supply of organically-grown arugula in their hybrid car that happened to have an Obama sticker on the bumper;

    Moments later he falls back and lets some space come between us and then speeds up to what must have been close to 100 mph and suddenly jerks into the next lane, up beside us and then pulls in front of us with less than a foot of space. My husband jerks to avoid hitting him and we ended up spinning out into the opposing lane. Being a good driver he managed to recover before we got hit, but we ended up behind the same trike rider at the next light. He proceeded to get OFF his trike, start flipping us off and screaming how we were the “scum of the earth and deserved to burn in hell, baby killers, and nazis” and a few other choice words that I won’t repeat as quite frankly I don’t remember everything he said since by that point I was literally shaking in terror

    Yes, people in fragile motorcycles always attack larger, heavier cars – especially if they display huge American flags. Of, course, none of the DUers who join the discussion question question the veracity of the story – because it fits the template of hate-filled “tea baggers”. One of the numbnuts even heightens the silliness;

    16. I have two switches on my dashboard…

    The first switch flashes the brake lights, even if I’m not braking.

    This deters all but the most repulsive nazi road-raging types.

    The second switch flashes the WHITE REVERSE lights.

    Even the most die-hard bush-nazi type would spin out off the freeway.

    Sure you do, gumball. I have two switches on my dashboard, too. One incinerates every hippie within 50 feet of my car. The other just punches them in the dick.

  • “Gay” dog denied resturant seating

    Stop me if you’ve heard this one; So a blind man takes his dog into a Thai restaurant

    Ian Jolly was told he could not take guide dog Nudge into the Thai Spice last May because a member of staff objected, The Sunday Mail reported.

    The restaurant’s owners said a misunderstanding had arisen between Jolly’s female companion and a waiter who understood the woman “to be saying she wanted to bring a gay dog into the restaurant”.

    “The staff genuinely believed that Nudge was an ordinary pet dog which had been desexed to become a gay dog,” the owners said in a statement to South Australia’s Equal Opportunity Tribunal.

    The restaurant was forced to pay $1500 to the slighted blind man and write him an official apology. First of all, how does anyone know if a dog is gay unless the dog tells someone – all dogs try to hump everyone all of the time – that’s why we call them dogs. Secondly, whoever was offended by the presence of a gay dog has some serious issues.

    Finally, the dude needs a hearing aid. I only hear about half of what people tell me and if I’d heard “gay dog”, I’d have chalked it up to my bad hearing – not immediately demand the perverted pooch removed from my restaurant lest he break into a medley of Bette Midler and Cher songs.
