  • The Peasants are Rioting in Paris….

    In France, diesel fuel is now at $8.20/gal and gasoline at $9.00/gal. The bulk of the price at the pump here is taxes, not fuel costs. Macron wants to increase the carbon tax in France to $63/tonne. There is no reason for it, other than his personal greed factor. It goes for absolutely nothing other than payola to IPCC and to line his pockets.

    From the article: The loudest and most famous voice from the weekend protest is that of Jacline Mouraud, a diesel owner from Brittany who has become the star of the yellow vest movement due to her YouTube videos and appearance on all major French news outlets.

    “You have persecuted drivers since the day you took office. This will continue for how long?” she said in a YouTube video that has millions of views. “You only need those taxes for new china in the Élysée palace or another expensive swimming pool for your private residence!”

    This seems to be a growing movement in France since 283,000 people in 2,000 locations rioted and burned stuff over it. I’m waiting to see how long it takes Macron to realize that  – well, the French generally hate him. But they voted him in over Marie LePen, and she warned them what would happen.

    It also appears that in Paris, some of the rioting is the work of groups closely resembling the antifas here this country. There is much damage in Paris, and Macron is ‘shocked’ about it.  Well, les Crapeaux had a chance to vote in Marine le Pen, but they went for this King of Disconnectedness instead. I wonder if he will offer the peasants cake to eat.

    It is not just in France that this tax-to-death attitude is going on. There is a proposed bill coming up to inflict a $55/ton carbon tax on us, the unsuspecting public.

    I’ve already discussed how a similar tax proposed by IPCC on my gas bill alone would cost me income I simply do not have.  I did the simple math to find out what this carbon so-called tax might cost me, the same as the IPCC’s carbon tax, which was a staggering $21,000 per month by 2030, based on cubic feet of natural gas usage.

    Converting therms to tons was easy enough. There is a site that does that. The result for me was 3.774892954361 tons in January 2018, which is about average for me. My January bill is usually $115 to $120, depending on the weather. The carbon tax is an incremental tax, meaning that it starts low but increases every year for five years to an unconscionable $55/ton, which in my case is $206.14, making my wintertime household gas bill $325.98, an amount that is unaffordable at best, and egregious at its worst.

    This proposed so-called tax is not meant to benefit any of us at the taxpaying end of the economic scale. It will simply go into a massive slush fund with an elaborate title that this bunch of tax-sucking slugs in Congress will be able to dip into at will.

    From ATR:  A carbon tax will not be pro-growth. Most carbon tax scenarios reduce GDP for the entirety of the 22-year forecast period. 

    Better than break-even economic performance may not be possible unless revenue is devoted entirely to corporate tax relief. A lump-sum rebate results in lost GDP equal to between $3.76 trillion and $5.92 trillion over the 22-year forecast period.

    That is trillions, not millions or billions of dollars – trillions lost to this nonsense.

    If you want to drive a thriving economy into a profound economic Depression, you tax the living daylights out of it until it is squeezed dry. Keep raising taxes and before long, there will be no more taxes to be found. We had a revolution in this country a while back because George III imposed a Stamp Tax Act on everything that was printed, to squeeze colonists dry. We fought that, and won.

    Here’s something else that is disturbing: the Bill authorizes armed carbon tax enforcement agents:  The bill authorizes armed carbon tax enforcement agents to collect the new tax on energy used by Americans. As if customs enforcement doesn’t already have enough on its plate, the bill states:

    “The revenues collected under this chapter may be used to supplement appropriations made available in fiscal years 2018 and thereafter –

    “(1) to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, in such amounts as are necessary to administer the carbon border fee adjustment.”

    So, if you somehow don’t pay this energy tax into this slush fund, you’ll get arrested???? If it shows up on my gas bill, which is my only source of carbon, men with guns and badges are going to show up on my doorstep demanding money from me? Aside from this looney-tune proposal, this loudly smacks of Gestapo tactics to me.

    The true nature of this proposed tax is discussed at the links, but most egregious is the 2-child limit per household included in the language of the proposal.  Here it is, straight from the bill text:

    “A carbon dividend payment is one pro-rata share for each adult and half a pro-rata share for each child under 19 years old, with a limit of 2 children per household, of amounts available for the month in the Carbon Dividend Trust Fund.”

    The reasoning behind a limit of 2 children per household is not specified, not at all. Because it is poorly written, it can be read as a means of forcing population control on families, which is what the Chinese government has been doing for decades.

    You may want to call Florida Republican Congressman Francis Rooney at 202-225-2536 and ask him why he has signed onto this absurd and harmful Democrat tax proposed by Deutsch, which seeks to impose a tax that is nothing but a feed into a slush fund. You should also call your own Congress critters and tell them to vote against this bill. Or send them e-mails to that effect. And sounding angry about it, in a civilized way, is acceptable. It isn’t a sales tax. It is larceny.

    It is extremely necessary on the part of all of us to be aware of these vultures and give them as much room as possible to expose themselves for what they really are. Without awareness of them and their agenda, we will lose the very things we value most.

    Tucker Carlson, one of Fox News’s commentators, was not at home Wednesday night when his home and cars were attacked by Antifas. The AFs posted a video of the incident on Twitter, but it has since been taken down and their account was suspended.

    This is not a group of men dressing up like Indians and boarding a moored ship in Boston Harbor to protest the British Tea Act and taxation without representation.

    This is far beyond that, done for the sole purpose of terrorizing people whose views are different from those of liberals.

    Out of this comes a minor surprise. The rival networks are now saying “This is not right.”  Uh, what? No gloating?

    “Something @CNN and @foxnews can agree on: it’s completely unacceptable to threaten a TV host and his/her family,” said a tweet from CNN’s communications team.

    Other rival members of the media expressed the same sentiment.

    “Fighting Tucker Carlson’s ideas is an American right. Targeting his home and terrorizing his family is an act of monstrous cowardice. Obviously don’t do this, but also, take no pleasure in it happening. Feeding monsters just makes more monsters,” CBS late night host Stephen Colbert wrote on Twitter.

    “The ‘group’ that staged this action call themselves anti-fascist. Do they understand how fascist is it to attack a family home like this?,” wrote NPR’s Scott Simon. “Denounce him on Twitter.. Boycott his sponsors. Not this.”

    Why are those with views opposing Carlson’s reacting like this? Simple: they got a wake-up call out of it. If Fox’s Carlson and Ted Cruz can be attacked, so can they. Whereas before this, they were smug and self-involved, this has rattled their chains.

    I expect to see more such things before this is over, and when/if it happens, I hope it hits those smug, toffee-nosed clankers just as hard as it hits conservative people. Let’s keep a weather eye on it. N.B.: I do NOT wish anyone any harm or ill will, but a sharp dose of reality will do them a lot of good.

    In a somewhat atypical defensive gun use out of Walnut Hill, Florida (yes, it is always Florida), Cordaryl Lewis was pistol-whipped by an anonymous person who found that he had strangled his girlfriend.

    According to reports, Lewis and his girlfriend were “arguing about leaving the house they had just bought” when Lewis decided to grab the woman’s throat. He choked her to the point of unconsciousness before an anonymous third party walked in on the scene, saw the woman on the ground and pistol-whipped Lewis in the face. When authorities arrived, they found Lewis bleeding profusely. The woman had sustained injuries consistent with the allegations against Lewis, and the man was arrested and charged with domestic battery by strangulation.

    IMHO, there should be warning signs visible from guys who like to abuse women, but when women are desperate to have a man in the domicile, it seems these signs are still missed.

    Most fast food joints don’t keep armed security personnel on staff, but this one apparently did – and ten customers have him to thank for potentially saving their lives.

    Around 1:00 a.m. in Houston this past week, a man walked into a Whataburger restaurant and opened fire.

    “I see a dude in a white bandana pull out a gun like it’s a movie or something, and start shooting behind the counter,” said a witness named Jayvier Green.

    Immediately, the security guard took action, firing four shots, all of which hit the suspect in the legs. That’s laudable marksmanship on his part, and police agree.

    Well, maybe the gun-nutz customer was unhappy with his bill. Not having eaten anything at a Whataburger, I can’t answer that question, but he obviously had a few issues.

     

  • Wienies, Every One of Them

    Incidents of violence and threats against the political right have escalated as the establishment media amp up its hate rhetoric against President Trump and his supporters.

    The morning after Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd compared media critics to racist segregationists and singled out Fox News as one of America’s biggest problems, a man in a “mentally agitated state,” and apparently upset over an officer involved shooting, intentionally crashed his vehicle into the studios of FOX 4 in Dallas, Texas.

    Besides Todd, many in the media, especially at far-left CNN have “othered” Fox News and presented the network as a unique danger to America.

    CNN’s Brian Stelter has gone so far as to spread conspiracy theories about Fox News controlling President Trump.

    I’ve been trying for some time to understand this utter hatred generated by Trump’s successful election. I do not recall ever seeing this kind of behavior, except during the Days of Rage in the 1970s (generated by the Eldridge Cleaver and the Black Panthers). You might want to have a look at this blog post by someone who has tried to understand it himself but wasn’t around back then.

    Is there a real difference between the leftist/liberal violence of the 1970s and what is going on now? Yes and no. There is no way to find out how much of what happened in the 1970s was simply generated by the radical leftists like Abby Hoffman, Eldrige Cleaver and Wm. Ayers, who lived on a nice houseboat paid for by ultraliberal lawyers, and how much was just vandalism.

    The difference between now and back then, and even back in the early 1950s when those Puerto Ricanos tried to invade Congress and bump off Harry Truman, is that the minds of this current crop overgrown children have been drained of freedom of thought – thinking for themselves – and a good deal of this supposed “hatred” is bought and paid for, instead of springing from the genuine anger that brought those violent events into being in the middle of the 2oth century.

    Ayers, and Dorne, his armored car-robbing and murdering partner, were anarchists, not true leftists. They simply hated government and law and order in all their forms, and knew how to sucker idiots into going along with their plans.

    To say that CNN’s Stelter is as lame as you can get is an understatement. These 21st century “radicals”  can’t even make Maxine Waters look semi-civilized. I do not think they could have made it through the 1960s and 1970s.

    There is a fallacy about what is going on now that is intentionally dismissed by the media, and it is this kind of thing: a recent climate “protest” march, which was advertised ahead of time as having an estimated body count of hundreds of thousands, in actuality had a few dozens here and there, maybe 85 to 125 in some areas, but not the “hundreds of thousands” that were boasted about in their ads for the event. And because that failed as an event, the failure was not reported by the media. They find it necessary to either lie about what happened, or not report it at all.

    I do not believe for one microsecond that anyone currently working in the overpaid and pampered demesne of current media environs would be willing to give up their comforts and life styles to ride herd with real radicals like Cleaver and Ayers and Hoffman.  This makes them failures of a kind that would be sneered at by the men who dressed up as Indians and boarded British ships on December 16, 1773, at Griffin’s Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts, and tossed 342 chests of tea overboard to protest the Stamp Tax Act.

    Let  us hope that this failure continues to grow.

    An Arizona man was accused of pretending to have Down syndrome and hired caregivers to bathe him and change his diapers, police said.

    Paul Anthony Menchaca, 31, of Gilbert, Arizona, was arrested on Sept. 6 on fraud and sexual abuse charges. The Gilbert Police Department said Menchaca posed as a woman named “Amy” on a caregiver job site called CareLinx.com, saying she needed assistance with her adult son, FOX 10 Phoenix reported. Three caregivers, all women, were hired to care for Menchaca at various points over the summer, with the first woman saying she bathed and assisted him 30 times.

    Sgt. Darrell Krueger, a spokesperson for the Gilbert Police Department told The Washington Post, Menchaca asked the caregivers to meet him at restaurants to change his dirty diapers in the public bathrooms.

    Some guys have trouble getting women to show up for dinner and a movie.  I am just not that caring of a person to do that for anyone, I could give a shit less what kind of syndrome you have.  If you want me to meet you in a public restroom at least make it worth my while.

    All three women said Menchaca became aroused during baths, police said. The caregivers said “Amy” texted them telling them to “punish” Menchaca if he soiled his diaper.

    The first caregiver became suspicious and followed Menchaca home earlier this month and met his parents. She discovered Menchaca “did not have Down syndrome and did not require diaper changes,” a probable cause statement said.

    The man’s parents told investigators Menchaca does not have Down syndrome. In a video of an initial court appearance, Menchaca said he has special needs and a low IQ level.

    I got special needs and I voted for Trump, that’s gotta be worth a sponge bath.

    For some reason, Douglas Dietrich has decided to attack us. Someone recorded one of his radio rants the other day and he claims that we at TAH are satanists who are preparing the world for Satan to take over the planet somehow. We wrote about him and his insanity last year. In this radio rant, he tells us that his father was in the Navy when US forces were actually repelled at the battle for Okinawa and they had to evacuate all the way back to California in a “Normandy Invasion in reverse”. His father witnessed the evacuation, even though his father spent the entire war in Rochester, New York. The US troops were beaten by the Kamikaze, the Divine Wind caused by the souls of the Japanese pilots.

    He goes on tell the story that his father witnessed when John McCain destroyed his ship with an errant missile firing – then McCain defected to the North Vietnamese who welcomed him with open arms. The problem with his story, besides the obvious, is that Dietrich’s father retired from the Navy in 1965 and couldn’t witness anything that happened during Vietnam. His father’s records;

    He goes on to tell of his derring-do during the Gulf War in the Marine Corps – the problem with that part of the story is that Dietrich was an entry-level discharge after three months of service two years before the Gulf War;

    That’s when he breaks into his rant about TAH and our plans for the coming of Satan. Somehow, taking on Paul Reickoff is part of that plan.     Mike Webb revisited

    You might remember Mike Webb from last year when he ran for a congressional seat in Virginia. Webb’s strategy revolved around his military career, hinged on his time as the legal clerk for one of the Ranger Battalions.

    He became famous when he used screen shots that included his pr0n habits.

    He made an appearance on the Daily Show because of that gaffe. They wrote about him in the Washington Post and at Daily Caller. When he lost the primary election, he looked around for someone to blame for his loss, and, of course, it was TAH. He tried to get the Commonwealth of Virginia to pay for his lawsuit against us for disparaging his reputation. Luckily, the judge declined to participate.

    That election didn’t assuage his political aspirations, though. Now he’s running for a local school board seat. His strategy this time is to change his name to include his rank when he retired from the Virginia National Guard. He sent this out yesterday;

    The main reason that he fails in these elections is because he comes off as a nut, things like this don’t change that perspective of the voting public.
