  • Peace loving Hippie attacks “Baby Killers”

    Power Point Ranger sends us an article about a poor, peace-loving hippie who was only expressing his right to free speech by busting a baby killing Defense Language Institute student in the head with a bottle when he was suddenly victimized by the police;

    Tyler Tirado, 20, a former Pacific Grove resident, was arrested Wednesday about 9:30 a.m. at a Monterey home after being identified by witnesses and a photo lineup, police Cmdr. John Miller said.

    The victim, a 20-year-old servicewoman at DLI, was treated for a one-inch cut on her scalp, police said.

    The incident arose after two groups of 10 to 20 people each, in their late teens to early 20s, were at the beach about 11:50 p.m.

    When members of one group, who described themselves as “locals,” learned the other group were military personnel, they began shouting derogatory comments, referring to the servicemen and women as “baby killers,” police said.

    The DLI group started to leave to avoid an altercation, police said, and one person from the other group threw a beer bottle that hit the woman. The attacker fled, police said.

    Don’t the police respect the moral superiority of young Tyler Tirado? Surely, he’ll be exonerated by the judge on First Amendment grounds. Aside from exhuming a Vietnam era slur, which was hyperbolic in it’s day as it is now, mighty Tirado should be praised for his ability to flee the scene and resisting the impulse to lend aid to the obvious faker gushing blood from her wound.

    Cheers to you and your parents, Tyler, for your obviously exemplary upbringing. I hope you choke on it.

    By the way, this sounds like any hate crime laws in California should be applied in this case since these soldiers were attacked for what they are rather than who they are. Fair is fair.

  • Charges dropped against Choi

    Dan Choi

    I don’t know much about what is going on in the world, but I know this doesn’t protect the public (Associated Press link);

    Lt. Dan Choi and James Pietrangelo, a gay army captain honorably discharged for disclosing his sexual orientation, were in court Wednesday on charges of failure to obey police orders during the March and April protests. All charges were dropped against them.

    Choi and his attorney had subpoenaed President Barack Obama to appear, but an attorney for the prosecution said the subpoena wasn’t served.

    Prosecutor Christine Chang declined to comment on why the government dropped the case.

    I’ve watched charges dropped against Adam Kokesh, Cindy Sheehan, Matthis Chiroux, Medea Benjamin to name a few for their inability to conform to the laws that protect our society. Every time they get arrested and the charges are dropped, their antics increase in intensity and foolhardiness. So why do we even have courts anymore if all they’re going to do is drop charges against these meatheads? They can’t even toss them in the hoosegow for a fricken day?

    I quit. If anyone comes to my house, they’d better call in advance because I’m declaring my home a zero tolerance zone – I ain’t toleratin’ nuthin’.

  • Bill Press: Obama’s poll numbers down because you’re whiney

    The main reason this administration has been such a complete failure is that it disregards it’s own missteps and deflects blame. So Bill Press, Liberal talk show host helps them out by declaring that “the American people are spoiled“;

    I think this says more about the American people than it does about President Obama. I think it just shows once again that the American people are spoiled. Basically, spoiled– as a people, we are too critical. We are quick to rush to judgment, we are too negative, we are too impatient. Especially impatient. We want it all solved yesterday, and if you don’t, I don’t care who you are — get out of the way.

    And again, basically spoiled. To the point where it makes me wonder if it’s even possible to govern today. I gotta tell you, I don’t think Abraham Lincoln — who certainly didn’t get everything right the first time — could govern today. I’m not sure Franklin Roosevelt could govern today, the way we are again. Just about like spoiled children. And it’s Americans, and it’s the media, and if we don’t get instant gratification, then screw you is basically our attitude.

    Yeah, we’re spoiled because we expect politicians who promise to fix the economy can’t, that politicians promise to fix oil leaks and can’t, politicians claim they’re raising taxes on the rich – and we discover suddenly that we’re all “the rich”. Just like spoiled children.

    Someone tell Press that if he doesn’t get his head out of Obama’s ass, he won’t be able to see that it’s me kicking his stupid ass.

  • Worth bringing up over 30 years later.

    With all this flag burning going on within the IVAW I thought that this was worth posting about. Also since that for a good number of people to include myself that this is the first time to read about it,

    Rick Monday saves the US Flag.

    I mean it is interesting story to read and watch. This was just after the Vietnam War and despite that the reaction of the people in the stands is very encouraging. Also the Patriot Guards caught up with Rick Monday who still has that flag.

  • Riots in Oakland

    Zombie warned us Thursday night that Oakland was preparing for riots as they waited for a verdict in the racially-charged Johannes Mehserle trial. When I went to do research on the trial, I found that the verdict had been reached so I put off linking Zombie’s excellent pictorial.

    The trial centers around whether Mehserle, an Oakland Metro cop, accidentally shot Oscar Grant when he pulled his gun when he intended to pull his taser. Here’s a video of the shooting so you can decide what happened;

    Well, Mehserle was convicted of involuntary manslaughter Thureday, so the anarchists of San Francisco rioted…by anarchists, I mean rich, white privileged kids who get their jollies pretending to destroy private property to male us socially aware. Like they’re the first ones to have a conscience. From SF Gate’s story on the 78 arrests which resulted from the riots

    At a news conference Friday, [Police Chief Anthony Batts] displayed spray cans, Molotov cocktails, gas containers and a bat that the chief said were used by “anarchists.” Police headquarters was hit by a Molotov cocktail early in the protest, Batts said.

    “There’s a time that we have to say that people coming from outside that impact our city, our town, the place that we live, that we work, that we play in, needs to stop,” Batts said.

    This is what I mean by rich, privileged white kids;

    Any excuse to punish the innocent with mindless thuggery.

  • Mike Prysner revisited.

    One story about him got a ping back that led to this post titled
    Powerful and Amazing speech by an Ex war veteran
    and the replies got interesting quick.

    show us this research(that he is lying) then. if he was a soldier he would have had to do those things, every soldier have to follow orders.

    what has he got to gain? and i must say he is very brave speaking out about the government like that, hes putting his life at risk to tell the truth

    And what i mean by hes putting his life at risk because you will find that any one who speaks out against government and tries to fight them, they find a way of shutting there mouths, they mysteriously disappear for years and years because they throw them in some secret prision where they torture them to death to keep them from opening there mouths as not to make sure nothing more wont slip out.

    all you have to do is look back on all the history of america and all the mysterious assassinations.

    america zionists are running this world its time you woke up and realised that.

    Yea that is why he is out in public every chance he gets. Also when our site was posted as a link for reference it was answered with this quote.

    (name) your very naive indeed. this is just another plot to get rid of him and prevent people from believing that america are a bunch of terrorists.

    its funny that you mentioned x flies too because this is another example of how zionist hollywood brainwash people in to thinking aliens exist so that one day they may attack on this whole planet for there new world order !!! and the people will foolishly believe its aliens haha

    Oh and lets not forget the reference to Dahr Jamails

    Dahr Jamails comprehensive study of todays military resisters sheds new light on the contours of dissent within the ranks of the worlds most powerful military, documenting the fight for justice inside the belly of the beast.

  • Duff laments Hussein’s removal

    I try to stay away from Veterans Today and Gordon Duff the website’s chief editor. But it’s like trying to look away from an eclipse – you know it’s bad for you, but you can’t look away. Duff took the opportunity this 4th of July weekend, usually a time to celebrate the promise of America, to blame the US for all wars in the last century.

    Duff goes on to suggest that if the US should have joined the kaiser in The Great War instead of the allies, that would have prevented all of the wars which followed. I guess he never heard of the Zimmerman Telegram or the sinkng of the Lusitania.

    But the best paragraphs are about our more recent wars;

    Saddam simply couldn’t believe the United States was so stupid. He kept extremists at bay, kept terrorists out of Iraq, produced oil for the United States and kept it flowing as expected, bought everything we had to sell and paid his bills on time. Can we believe all the terrible things he did? Yes, some of them. Inside his own country, the sheiks with the real power were getting sick of him.

    Saddam was sounding more and more like, well, Dick Cheney, a liability even in a dictatorship. In the end, however, whatever bad Saddam had done, paled in comparison with the damage America did, bringing in mobster-bankster rule, starting a civil war, loading Iraq withterrorists, and leaving the country in ruins with well over one million dead and millions more in poverty.

    Kind of like saying “Well, at least Hitler kept the trains running on time”. Duff buys into every conspiracy theory about Iraq in the space of a few paragraphs. But he doesn’t stop there. he turns his pop gun on the Afghanistan war;

    There would be no reason to draw the United States into Afghanistan, certainly 9/11 had nothing to do with it, there were no terrorists in Afghanistan at that time, unless something else was going on. What was going on that needed the US to be pushed into an area so remote that resupplying troops is almost impossible, an area where running terrorist operations from is equally insane.

    I don’t think even the IVAW, which opposes the Afghanistan War, too, is stupid enough to claim there were no terrorists in Afghanistan on 9-11, and no one was running terrorist operations from Afghanistan. But at least we know that IVAW foes have a fan base at Veterans Today.

  • Struttin’ that ass

    OK, I’m back from my three day vacation. I don’t even know what happened in the world this weekend during my absence. So while I’m catching up, watch this video which demonstrates why you should stay home when you drink. Serious language warning;

    Thanks to freebirdnavybrat for the video link.
