  • Credit where credit is skewed

    Last week we watched as Vote Vets gave credit to Barack Obama for the withdrawal of combat troops from Iraq today. Of course, we know that it was the so-called surge and the Bush Administration that made today’s news possible. But you know who’s taking credit? None other than those screeching harpies at Code Pink and the peace movement. This is from my email;

    Yes, they want credit for ending the seven-year war – the war that would have ended seven years ago if it wasn’t for them. if it wasn’t for the peace freaks who volunteered to be human shields for Saddam Hussein. If it wasn’t for those three congressmen standing on the roof of Saddam’s palace declaring him a more honest broker than our own President. If it wasn’t for seven years of childish antics and useless protests, shoe-throwing, cardboard cemeteries, fake Guantanamo prison cells and so many countless demonstrations of imbecility and mental masturbation.

    Yeah, this shit ended the war;

  • Vet Today’s Maidhc Ó Cathail; I see Mossad people

    TSO sent us a link to an article written by Maidhc Ó Cathail on Veterans Today, the cave where the most paranoid people on the internet write to each other under the guise of a veterans’ information exchange. Maidhc Ó Cathail (don’t ask me which is his family name) claims that Mossad is keeping the bin Laden myth alive (he was killed in December 2001, see);

    According to U.S. and British intelligence officials, al-Qaeda’s media wing, As-Sahab Foundation for Islamic Media Publication, has been run since 2001 by Adam Gadahn, a California-born convert to radical Islam who now goes by the name Azzam al-Amriki.

    Gadahn found his way to the Islamic Society of Orange County while living with his grandfather, Carl Pearlman, a board member of the Anti-Defamation League. Ostensibly a civil rights organization set up to fight anti-Semitism, the ADL is “little more than a de facto adjunct of the Israeli government” which has even been caught spying on American critics of Israel.

    Adam’s parents changed their surnames to Gadahn in the mid-1970s. The name refers to the Biblical warrior Gideon who, with the aid of trumpets and clay jars, defeated Israel’s enemies.

    As Antiwar.com editor Justin Raimondo put it, Adam Gadahn is “an awfully odd figure, whose sudden evolution from a nice Jewish boy into Osama bin Laden’s Goebbels is just a little hard to take.”

    So, you see, the Anti-Defamation League planted plump little Jewish teen Adam Pearlman cum Gadhan iin al Qaeda with the help of the Mossad and his job is to keep the US engaged with al Qaeda by keeping the illusion of Osama bin Laden alive even if he isn’t.

    Veterans Today is fond of pointing at the tiny Mossad organization and blamed them of everything from the bombings in Moscow to piracy off the coast of Somalia. And that time you got that rash at the beach? Mossad. That five pounds that you can’t lose for the life of you? Mossad. That tiny nail on your little toe that you can’t clip straight? Mossad.

    Maidhc Ó Cathail conludes;

    But with the hunt for the elusive bin Laden having already cost thousands of lives and trillions of dollars, perhaps Americans should demand conclusive proof that Israel hasn’t conned them into fighting a phoney “war on terror.”

    Maybe we should instead demand proof that Maidhc Ó Cathail hasn’t masturbated himself into a state of imbecility.

  • Basil Marceaux’ run at the TN Governor’s mansion

    Over the past few weeks, I’ve ptobably had twenty of you wrote to ask us if we can track him down. Who’s Basil Marceaux? Well, until Thursday, he was a candidate for Tennessee’s governorship. He actually makes Alvin Greene look brilliant by comparison. Here’s his appearance on a local TV news show;

    And an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel;

    On his website claims that he is a “Force Recon” Marine. That’s what brought him to the attention of our readers. POW Net has requested a FOIA on him to satisfy our curiosity. Reading his website, I don’t think he has the capacity to be much more than a self-propelled sand bag.

    So anyway, Washington Post wrote an article about Marceaux this morning, lamenting the end of his campaign;

    Marceaux’s savviness or sobriety may have been under debate, but his knowledge of the science of Web hits is spot-on.

    Meanwhile, about Greene they write that he is “a plain-spoken man no one had heard of, who went on to win South Carolina’s Democratic nomination for Senate? ”

    Plain-spoken? Only in college libraries in conversations with co-eds. Otherwise, he’s borderline retarded and the perfect Democrat Senate candidate – but he’s a Republican plant. I don’t know how the Republicans planted all of those votes to get him nominated,

    Why wasn’t Basil Marceaux a Democrat plant?

  • What are Wikileak’s intentions?

    I’ve been reading Ace of Spades and Uncle Jimbo in regards to Julian Assange and Wikileaks and Assange’s intentions. Well, he wants to destroy the US military, of course.

    I knew that were his intentions when I wrote back in September about Wikileaks releasing the email of two supposed neo-nazis who were supposed to be in the Army. SPLC and mark Potok jumped all over that slinging allegations everywhere before meekly admitting that he couldn’t verify that the two neo-Nazis were in the Army.

    I proved that one of them had no record of Army service and the other, although a member of the Army, hadn’t joined the neo-Nazis. Of course, Assange released a heavily edited video he titled “Collateral Murder” (kind of like the heavily edited video that Breitbart released last week, but somehow we can’t trust Breitbart anymore and Assange is a hero of sorts) which is supposed to condemn individual actions of soldiers like those emails were supposed to make us think that all soldiers are Neo-Nazis.

    Even those documents released over the weekend mostly referred to the actions of individuals, not the results of policies. It’s clear to me that Assange and Potok trying to undermine the morale and impeccable reputation of the American soldiers to end our wars like the Winter Soldier hearings did in 1971, and the Winter Soldier hearings in 2008 failed to accomplish.

    Code Pink picks up the attack on the troops with their own solicitation letters which include charges like this;

    To fuel your passion for these calls, here’s the link to the section on civilian casualties, including incidents like the gunner at a roadblock who killed a 14-year-old girl and wounded a toddler or the Marine air strike that left seven children dead.

    These aren’t charges against policy, they are charges against the troops.

  • Valor for sale

    MEW sent us this article from the Daily Mail about a sister who sold her brother’s medals so she could take a Mediterranean cruise;

    The 37-year-old, who is unemployed, said: ‘I’m on income support and I’m very hard up, so I did what I thought was best.’

    Now the man who bought the mementos – which include medals from Corporal Deering’s service in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as an International Security Assistance Force medal – has returned them to the hero’s fiancee Gemma Polino.

    Corporal Deering, a Royal Marine with the Commando Logistic Regiment, died in December 2008 as he raced to help injured comrades whose armoured Viking personnel carrier had been blown up by insurgents.

    The 33-year-old was killed in a second explosion as he approached the vehicle in Afghanistan’s notorious Helmand province. He left everything to his sister, who also claims she was forced to sell the mementos to help look after her 14-month-old son.

    Miss Deering, of Sheldon, Birmingham, said her brother would have wanted her to sell the medals to support herself and her son, who she named after him.

    Ya know, if she’d stayed home and used the money for taking care of her son, I probably would have forgiven her – but to use the money for a cruise? It’s no wonder she’s a broke-ass single mother.

    Also here is a keeper.

    Then Miss Deering, in the presence of her mother Karen Waspe, offered him her brother’s medals, uniform and the shell casing, one of three fired over his coffin at a memorial service held in Camp Bastion, Afghanistan.

  • Ollie Stone is getting creepier

    Newsbusters‘ Alana Goodman writes that 6th rate producer, Oliver Stone has finally slipped his gears. After his failed attempts at lionizing Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez among countless others, he’s decided that there must be some redemptive qualities to be found in Adolph Hitler and Joseph Stalin, two of the three or four most prolific mass murderers of the 20th Century.

    Director Oliver Stone belittled the Holocaust during a shocking interview with the Sunday Times today, claiming that America’s focus on the Jewish massacre was a product of the “Jewish domination of the media.”

    The director also defended Hitler and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and railed against the “powerful lobby” of Jews in America.

    Stone said that his upcoming Showtime documentary series for “Secret History of America,” seeks to put Hitler and Communist dictator Joseph Stalin “in context.”

    Of course, it’s always the Jews. See, if the Jews hadn’t hitched their little red wagon to the American promise of freedom security and liberty, they’d be able to get the support of folks like Oliver Stone. I’ve seen the ovens and gas chambers of the Nazi regime. I’ve looked over the walls and barriers of Eastern Europe. I don’t need a knucklehead with a tiny dick to tell me how I should think about these things. I wonder why Stone has been relegated to the unseen corners of cable TV. I’m pretty sure I’ve never sat through an entire Stone movie.

  • Flag burner busted in Ohio

    Dr. Chiroux and TSO simultaneously sent me this article from Fox News about a 20-year-old in Ohio who was arrested for burning 19 US flags “out of boredom” on Memorial Day;

    Authorities say 20-year-old Samuel Sneller of Wooster used a lighter to set the first flag ablaze May 28 and burned 18 more in the early morning hours of Memorial Day. A local Rotary Club had placed about 1,000 flags in lawns around town.

    Detective Tony Lemmon says police used a search warrant to obtain copies of text messages that implicate Sneller in the case.

    So, I’ll pay for a video of Matthis yawning while he burns a flag. If you can get him to text you about it, so much the better.
