  • Flotilla halted by Greek Coast Guard

    True to their word, the hippies headed to break the blockade around the Gaza strip tried to slip out of their Greek mooring earlier. 25 minutes later, the Greek Coast Guard stopped them in their wake. (Ynet link)

    Despite the Greek ban, the vessel left port around 4:45 pm Friday, Ynet learned. It was banned from departing by Greek officials citing technical problems, but chose to ignore the orders.

    In a conversation with Ynet, organizers of the US boat confirmed the details. One of them said that a Greek Coast Guard ship approached the boat and that the two sides were engaged in dialogue.

    Imagine that, Code Pink-influenced to flout authorities. I’d have never believed it.

    Apparently, the Greek captain of the “Audacity of Hope” has more brains than Medea and her assembled sea hags combined.

    Somehow, I don’t think the Grecian commandos will be as gentle with those hippies as the Israelis were last year. So far, they’ve alienated the Turks and the Greeks in just two days. I’m sure the Greek tax payers aren’t real happy with spending their scant money on keeping the hippies safe from themselves.

  • Perry urges Holder to arrest Code Pink

    VTWoody sends us a link to to a Fox News article in which Texas governor Rick Perry urged Attorney General Holder to arrest and prosecute Americans who planning on illegally sailing to and protesting in the Gaza Strip;

    “The state of Israel is a friend and critical ally of the United States, and the only stable democracy in an increasingly unstable and hostile region,” wrote Perry, a vocal supporter of Israel who is considering a run for president in 2012. “These initiatives to breach Israel’s maritime blockade of the Gaza Strip is an unacceptable provocation.”

    Under federal law, anyone who “prepares a means for, or furnishes the money for, or takes part in, any military or naval expedition” against a friendly country can be fined or jailed for three years.

    Of course the protesters include the hags of Code Pink.

  • Westboro fags trained with FBI

    Tman sends us a link to an Associated Press article in which the FBI admits they may have made mistake by including the Westboro cult in training earlier this year;

    At FBI headquarters in Washington, bureau spokesman Paul Bresson acknowledged that Westboro was invited to the training sessions.

    An FBI official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter, said that in retrospect, the bureau underestimated how the involvement of the outside organization would be perceived.

    As a result, said the official, there will be additional layers of review or approval on outside speakers.

    The official added that bureau personnel organizing training courses were trying to bring in a variety of views they thought would be helpful to investigators.

    Yeah, I don’t what the FBI thought they could learn by having the cultists speak to their agents, but giving them any credibility doesn’t help us end their reign of terror on families who’ve lost sons and daughters defending their right to be morons.

  • Zombie covers World Naked Bike Ride, SF

    We got a link from Zombie on the exclusive coverage of the World Naked Bike Ride in San Francisco. The only links I provide are the “Safe for Work” versions. Zombie quotes the sponsoring organization which says the World Naked Bike Ride is “To celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against oil dependency.”

    Of course, anyone who has spent more than a minute on the internet will tell you that people who make political statements with their nudity are the last people that anyone wants to see naked. I still can’t un-see the pictures of Medea Benjamin in the “Breasts Not Bombs” protest whose breasts were only breasts in the strictly academic sense.

  • Duff: bin Laden the innocent victim

    It’s been a while since we visited Gordon Duff at his misnamed “Veterans Today” website (it should be named “Crackpots Today”)…and apparently nothing has changed. Today he “proves” the innocence of Usama bin Laden;

    Bin Laden condemns terrorism and says that the US government, Israel and the press are using terrorism against the American people in order to frighten them into going to war, the endless war going on today.

    This was before the first Patriot Act. This was before the attack on Iraq. This was before the revelations about 9/11 and Building 7, the categorical proof, continually denied, continually suppressed, that 9/11 was an “inside job.”

    Our source for this real “bin Laden” is the Central Intelligence Agencies files. Their bin Laden was no terrorist but rather someone with a deep and abiding affection for the American people and a view of events that would prove him uncanny in his foresight.

    I guess that’s the kind of conclusions you reach when you totally disregard all of the facts accepted by the entire rest of the world and cling to few scraps of circumstances. And, of course, Fox News is complicit in the cover up and bin Laden was actually working for George W. Bush. in fact, bin Laden tried to warn us about the 9-11 attacks, apparently carried out by the Mossad.

  • Kokesh and remake of Footloose

    This morning I was looking for reports of Kokesh’s antics at the Jefferson Memorial yesterday and our buddy Marooned in Marin beat me to it.

    Looking at the video, it looks like a bunch of spastic nerds showed up yesterday hoping to be arrested but the park police disappointed them. At the end of the video, when the park police finally decided to crack down, they started giving the cops shit. The cops are just doing their jobs, it does no good to yell at them. Yell at the people who make the laws that the cops are only enforcing, dolts.

    Actually, it’s pretty pathetic to see so many people show up for dancing at the Jefferson Memorial, but they won’t show up at the polls to vote for candidates that will get government out of their lives.

    So was the protest really all that important? I’ll bet if you asked everyone who was dancing if they thought taxes on the rich should be raised, they’d resoundingly support that – but let us dance. Should we be allowed to smoke in bars? No! But let us dance. Ban transfats? Yes, but let us dance! Tax fatty or sugary foods? Yes, but don’t stop us from dancing!

    They’ll vote for single-payer universal health care, but the government should let them dance.

    Drill and refine our own oil and gas reserves? No! But let us dance!

    Well, you get the idea. Silly, pathetic little trolls.

  • Duff: American Legion and false flag ops

    I guess Gordon Duff is running out of folks to point fingers at as Mossad operatives. He’s tried to accuse Adam Gahdan, Osama Bin Laden and Mahmoud Amadinejad of being in the employ of the Israeli intelligence service. Now it’s the American Legion;

    Every time a union would go on strike, police would come. A paid informant from the factory owners would shoot a cop or throw a molotov cocktail and the killing would start. Time after time, the Army, the National Guard or the American Legion were called in to crush freedom loving Americans. It all started with a “false flag.”

    Swastika’s on synagogues are now passe. Whenever someone is caught, it is always a member of a Jewish defense organization. They can’t keep it out of the news though they try.

    9/11 was one of these as was 7/7 in Britain. It has been proven beyond any doubt though no major paper will ever report it. Fox News did. Jesse Ventura did. When they did, American veterans, the ones who play bingo, sat silently. 3000 Americans were murdered by their own government and millions of Americans did nothing.

    Yes, because we all don’t see the world as crazy-ass Duff sees it, we’re all playing bingo at the American Legion hall – and weekly bingo games are probably a Mossad plot to keep veterans fat and happy. Cuz i know you guys are always playing bingo.

    Personally, I’m a little bit proud that I don’t see the world as 18-month Private Gordon Duff sees it. I think that makes me rational and not squirrel turd nutty.
