  • Kokesh’s friends claim he was framed

    Someone sent us this long-ass video last night in which Kokesh’s housemates explain that the cops who raided the house set him up for the drug charges;

    Yeah. old “Xanax and Gin” had to be set up. Meanwhile in related news, the judge in his case in DC is contemplating letting Kokesh out and foregoing bail according to the DCist;

    According to court records, Kokesh appeared in D.C. Superior Court this morning and was once again denied bond on one felony count of carrying a gun outside a home or business. Update: To be clear, a judge is still considering granting him bond on this count. A decision will be made by the end of the week. He was granted a $100 bond for a misdemeanor drug charge by a separate judge.

    A judge previously denied Kokesh bond on July 29, calling him a “very dangerous person.”

    I guess he couldn’t raise the $5000 bond from his friends because hippies don’t have any money.

  • PTSD for everyone

    Old Trooper send us a link to Fox News in which they report that poor drug-adled Amanda Bynes is going back to rehab because…are you sitting down and removed from your reach all liquids and objects that can be thrown at your computer screen…PTSD;

    We’re told the PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) stems in part from the pressures of her Hollywood career, in which she shot to Nickelodeon stardom as a child, before declaring that she was “retiring” a few years ago. Bynes also has very deep-seated conflict issues with her parents, with whom we’re told she’s not particularly close.

    So, apparently, everything causes PTS including being successful at an early age. Maybe it would just be easier to treat everyone who doesn’t have post traumatic stress.

  • Fake CIA agent arrested at “RED 2”

    In a theater in Grand Blanc, MI, a man was arrested when patrons called police about a man wearing body armor, carrying a weapon and wearing a CIA badge, you know because CIA agents operating in the US wear their badges all of the time to theaters.

    Police say when they arrived, he was watching “Red 2,” a movie about a retired CIA agent.

    “When they see things like this, someone with body armour on and a gun strapped to their side, they get nervous,” said Detective Matt Harburn with the Grand Blanc Township Police Department.

    “They ask him to step outside to talk to him, the gentleman does that, and once they’re outside they inquire how he’s dressed and at that point he displays a CIA card, like an official card that he tries to pass he’s a CIA agent,” Harburn.

    That fake ID badge is what got him arrested. Delavergne has a license for the gun and it’s not illegal to carry it in the theatre, but now he’s charged with impersonating a federal agent. The FBI is handling the case now.

    The FBI also says Delavergne had more than 100 rounds of ammunition in his car.

    According to the news, he wore the badge so no one would get nervous about the gun. Nice try, dingus.

  • Panama seizes North Korean ship coming from Cuba

    BPQ0v2BCYAAHJZR.jpg large

    According to Fox News, Panama has seized a North Korean ship which tried to transit the Panama Canal from Cuba with sophisticated missile technology;

    “We had suspected this ship, which was coming from Cuba and headed to North Korea, might have drugs aboard so it was brought into port for search and inspection,” on the Atlantic coast of the country, the president [Ricardo Martinelli] said on Radio Panama on Monday.

    “When we started to unload the shipment of sugar we located containers that we believe to be sophisticated missile equipment, and that is not allowed,” Martinelli stressed, describing a dramatic scene in which he said the ship’s captain tried to kill himself.

    “The captain has tried to commit suicide, and the crew also rioted,” when police moved in, Martinelli said. “So we are holding this vessel for further investigation.”

    President Martinelli Tweeted the above picture. From the New York Times;

    “We’re going to keep unloading the ship and figure out exactly what was inside,” he said. “You cannot go around shipping undeclared weapons of war through the Panama Canal.”

    Reuters quoted Javier Caraballo, Panama’s top anti-drugs prosecutor, as telling local television the ship was en route to North Korea.

    The seizure comes as Panama and South Korea, Pyongyang’s sworn enemy, have been strengthening ties and exploring a possible free trade agreement.

    Now let me get this straight – the two countries involved are North Korea and Cuba, arguably the two poorest nations in the world. Their people are starving, but the governments are trading sophisticated weapons technology. And to top it off, they need the weapons to export “the communist revolution” worldwide. Yeah, looks like a plan worth executing.

  • Eddie Snowden nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

    A Swedish sociology professor has nominated Eddie Snowden, the fugitive spy formerly employed as a contractor for the NSA, currently waiting tables at Sbarro’s in the Moscow airport, for a Nobel Peace Prize because of his “heroic effort at great personal cost.” Yeah, heroic, that’s what it was. It’s also heroic to hide out in Russia without accepting the consequences of his actions like he said that he willing to do. But wait, the nomination letter gets better. From Russia TV;

    “This example is important because since the Nuremberg trials in 1945 has been clear that the slogan ‘I was just following orders’ is never claimed as an excuse for acts contrary to human rights and freedoms,” Professor [Stefan] Svallfors wrote.

    He emphasized that the decision to award the 2013 prize to Edward Snowden would also “help to save the Nobel Peace Prize from the disrepute incurred by the hasty and ill-conceived decision to award US President Barack Obama 2009 award.”

    Yeah, because there was no “disrepute” before that, like presenting the award to Yassar Arafat, possibly the bloodiest terrorist of the 20th century. I’m not defending the totally ridiculous notion that President Obama deserved a Nobel Prize, but still, I think it’s funny that those scandis think their pathetic award is worth something salvageable.

    Yeah, go ahead give it to him, it’ll prove that to win the award all you have to do is thumb your nose at the United States. By the way, I’m also aware that any Joe off the street can nominate anyone they want for the prize, but still….

  • That ‘shroom eating gun nut is on the street

    One of our friends sent us a link to the latest news on Adam Kokesh who was busted for loading a shotgun on the streets of DC and for having “Medicinal” mushrooms in his apartment is out of the hoosegow on $5000 bail according to the DCist;

    The outspoken gun rights activist Adam Kokesh is out of jail on $5,000 bond, but a Fairfax County judge has ordered that he await trial under a condition that might come as difficult to him…[Kokesh] was prohibited from possessing guns pending the completion of his case, WJLA reports. The 31-year-old former marine was also placed on pre-trial probation, and will next appear in court on Oct. 2 for a preliminary hearing.

    […]

    Kokesh had spent most of the past week in Fairfax County lockup following his arrest last Tuesday night by Herndon police. At hearings last week, Kokesh refused to answer a judge’s questions or submit to fingerprint scanning and a photo, thus prolonging his detention.

    Knowing Kokesh like I do, he won’t sit still for this. I predict that he’ll be arrested for something else in the near future. I also predict that one his tongue-bathers will be in here to defend him.

  • More “Sanity” from Public School Leadership

    Seems as if a high school senior in Georgia decided to check up on his school’s Principal.  You know, to see if the individual had really been a “goody two-shoes” back in the day, and still was.  So this being 2013, he used the Internet.

    Much to his delight, he found a mug shot of his Principal.  So, this being 2013 – he posted the mug shot photo on Instagram, along with some later comments.

    Seems the Principal found and didn’t like that.  So the Principal called the young man into their office.

    The Principal then told the young man that they “knew the law” and called police.  When Police arrived, the Principal asked the Police to arrest the young man.

    Apparently the Police didn’t “know the law” like the Principal did.  They gave the Principal a “WTF?” look, refused to arrest anyone, and left.

    The Principal nonetheless decided to suspend the student for “disrupting school” and being “belligerent”.  The suspension letter further said student was suspended for “spreading misinformation”.

    (In fairness, when questioned about the photo, the student posted on Instagram that he thought the mug shot was from a DUI arrest.  However, his comment clearly stated that to be his opinion vice a documented fact.  It turns out the arrest resulting in the mug shot was actually for missing a court date for a speeding ticket.)

    The student’s suspension was originally for 4 days, but later was reduced to 2 days.  It seems that “spreading misinformation” isn’t listed as a prohibited action in the school’s student handbook.

    Looks like the Principal really “knows the rules”, too.

    The Principal also reportedly threatened to suspend several other students for having a copy of the mug shot photo on their cell phones. I guess it must have been a “dirty” enough photo to qualify as pr0n.

    No, I’m not kidding above.  This lunacy actually happened.

    The incident occurred at Riverdale High School, in Riverdale, Georgia.  Per the linked article, the moron “esteemed and level-headed” Principal at that school appears to be a Ms. Jamille Miller Brown.

    Frankly, it sounds more to me like Ms. Jamille Miller Brown is nothing more than a childish, petty tyrant and control freak who’s now butt-hurt.  I think her “widdle feewings” were hurt when her past record of misconduct was made known, and she’s now just desperately trying to limit the spread of information about same.  But I could be wrong.

    IMO she’s also a freaking idiot who deserves and needs to be fired for terminally bad judgement and abuse of authority.  Then she could move to NYC, get a job in city government, and work for a like-minded control-freak.  But maybe that’s just me.

    Riverdale High School seems to be part of the Clayton County School System.  The contact information for the Clayton County Board of Education seems to be available here.  According to their map, Riverdale seems to be in District 3.

    Contact information for the Superintendent of Education for Clayton County can be found here.

    Perhaps the Board of Education President and members would be interested in hearing what others think about this matter.  Ditto the Superintendent of Education.

  • Ethan McCord: Karma’s a Bitch

    Define a hero.  Is it someone that stands up to the enemy?  Someone that saves a life?  Someone that’s caught on camera at just the right moment?  A lot of things could be considered heroic that the military does, but for the most part “doing your job” is still just doing your job.  Doing the bare minimum while in the military is not looked well upon within the community will often earn you open scorn.  If you were to use said minimum as a stump, and go on about how hard your life is for some drooling hippie, you’ll pretty much be black balled for life.  We all know people like that.  The guy that tells a sob story, to make the ladies all love his “heroism.”  Even “speaking truth to power” is somehow heroic if you’re on the right side of the issue (but if you’re, say telling the truth about Benghazi you’re a liar).

    2nd Battalion 16th Infantry is a unit like any other.  It’s ordered to do pretty much the same things every other light infantry battalion is ordered to do.  For some reason however 2/16 has more than it’s fair share of people trying to cash in on the unit’s illustrious, and sometime infamous history.  We all know about Ward Reilly, a faker that has gone around wearing a Ranger tab, he didn’t earn and saying he was a Ranger that refused service in Vietnam (which would have been hard seeing as the unit pulled out in 1970).  He tried to cash in on 2/16’s name, as an anti-war douche first for VVAW and now for IVAW.  Then there’s Ethan McCord.  Now he’s said a lot of things, which have been proven to be flat out untrue (rotational fire for instance) and taken videos from soldiers that were misbehaving to blow incidents way out of proportion.

    But the Anti-war crowd’s darling hero has a bit of a shady side.  For one, according to a source, [TSO: Deleted.  We don’t have a second source on this, and we’ll await more info.  What remains is as attributed, and is what we believe to be true.]  His first wife told me how he got the boot from the Navy Reserve, so in desperation he joined the Army.  The only problem is apparently Army basic was too tough for him so he called back to see if his soon to be ex-wife he was in the process of divorcing would fake a red cross message that his son was deathly ill so he could go home.  She hung up on him.  Continuing his shady streak after Basic, he married his second wife the same month he divorced his first.  Just to mess with her he, apparently, at one point he faked a PTSD episode while he was at the Ft Riley Warrior Transition Battalion.  The “episode” was so bad that his wife was in a near panic calling the command, asking what she should do.  The “episode” was resolved when he snapped out of it and said “just kidding.”  His Med Board process was something of a joke, but the Army went through it anyway.

    As for his life as a soldier, well its already been said by several of his former comrades that he sought to do the minimum.  You really can’t blame a guy for being scared, but when you get to Iraq as an infantryman, it’s too late for second thoughts.  The malingering and constant attempts to get out of going on patrol did not make him popular.  His NCOs refused to send him to the board, and there was some butt hurt about that because he had assured his wife (at the time) that he’d soon be E-5.  To my knowledge his only combat experience just so happened to be the same day some Apaches from 1/227 Aviation responded to Bravo 2/16’s troops in contact during Operation Ilaaj.  It was a hot long day, that had Bravo in contact nearly all day.  When all was said and done two Reuters photographers were dead, as well as the insurgents they were with, and a family that was on the battlefield for no apparent reason.  McCord very shortly after went home on mid-tour leave and refused to come back.  He probably would have been forgotten if not for a hissy fit thrown by Brianna Manning, and a man I like to call Ass-hat decided to release a video that was then two years old and call it “collateral murder.”

    In an instant he became a media darling.  He was all over RT, and Susan Sarandon called him up urging him to stay strong (whatever that means).  He joined “Not your soldiers” a truly hideous group of douchebags who lie to school children, then got married again and had more kids (last count is at least five by three women).  Then a documentary came out where he was the only featured speaker, and that documentary got nominated for an academy award.  It got the 2/16 veterans royally pissed and they all called him out on it.  I’m not sure if it was getting a tattoo of one of the company’s KIA’s that wasn’t even in his platoon (and who personally despised him) or that he said “collateral murder” happened every day in Iraq but the level of anger he incurred can not be understated.  He then got delirious over how his former comrades were issuing “death threats” (really just angry veterans hoping Karma struck and he got hit by a bus) and the hippies just gobbled that up.  He got WAY more attention than he should have, but thankfully his 15 minutes ended, and the veterans of 2/16, as well as 1/227 who’d had their names dragged through the mud went on to be the outstanding individuals they were.

    Now apparently we’re not taking care of him.  Apparently he can’t pay his bills and someone slashed the tires on his car.  Apparently life sucks for him, and he’s a victim.  Apparently Karma is a bitch.  I really have no doubt that he pissed off one of his neighbors, or said something next level stupid that went too far.  Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if he did it himself to further his “victim” status.  I also have no doubt that this “victim” will find some sucker to bail him out.  If you’re honestly thinking of loaning him a couple of bucks, here’s my advise: Don’t.  He’s a manipulative little [expletive deleted] that you should not waste the time of day on.  Also doubtless some [expletive deleted] will get it in his/her/it’s head that this “poor baby” really needs help that the cruel evil military wouldn’t give him.

    In the end, I have no doubt that the children he fathered from previous marriages will be stiffed his time, effort, or finances.  He never seems to have grasped the very basic concepts of Duty or Honor.  He never made a plan for what he’d do once “his” war ended or once the spotlight on the video faded.  He used everyone that ever gave a crap about him, and abandoned those that he didn’t consider useful.  All that artful shucking and jiving, and where has he gotten?  Nowhere.  If he stays at the ass end of Kansas, friendless, and barely able to make ends meet, then he brought that on himself.  All his manipulations, all his lies, and all the crocodile tears all the mud slinging he did to his former comrades all for what?  15 minutes in the spotlight.  Pah-Thetic!
