  • Ron Rockwell Hansen arrested for spying for China

    According to MSN, Ron Rockwell Hansen was arrested as a spy for China in Hong Kong on Saturday. Hansen is a former US Army warrant officer and case officer for the Defense Intelligence Agency.

    Mr. Hansen, 58, a fluent Mandarin speaker who first visited China in 1981, has allegedly received at least $800,000 in “funds originating from China” since May 2013.

    On Saturday, Mr. Hansen was arrested in Seattle and charged with attempted espionage, in what appears to be another high-profile mole hunt by F.B.I. investigators intent on uncovering Chinese spying against the United States.

    “His alleged actions are a betrayal of our nation’s security and the American people and are an affront to his former intelligence community colleagues,” John C. Demers, the assistant attorney general for national security, said in a statement posted on the Justice Department’s website on Monday.

    If convicted, Mr. Hansen faces a maximum penalty of life in prison. He is also accused of “acting as an unregistered foreign agent for China, bulk cash smuggling, structuring monetary transactions and smuggling goods from the United States,” the Justice Department said.

    From BBC;

    He is alleged to have attempted repeatedly to regain access to classified information after he stopped working for the US government, thereby alerting authorities to his actions.

  • Raymond Jaquay; flag thief needed curtains

    Raymond Jaquay; flag thief needed curtains

    According to CBS News, Raymond Jaquay stole flags from various memorials in Pennsylvania and when investigators caught up to him, Jaquay explained that he needed curtains;

    Raymond Jaquay is accused of stealing U.S. and POW/MIA flags from sites in western Pennsylvania including Brackenridge Memorial Park, and a Marine Corps flag from an ice cream shop in Tarentum, according to CBS Pittsburgh. Police identified Jaquay through surveillance video from a nearby business and arrested him on June 2.

    When officers went to his home, they found the flags. When asked why he stole the flags, police say Jaquay told them a curtain rod in his home broke and he needed something to cover his windows, CBS Pittsburgh reports.

    Jaquay has since apologized and returned all of the flags.

    The Brackenridge community spent years raising money to restore the war memorial and on Memorial Day, residents held a special rededication ceremony. Shortly after the ceremony, the flags went missing.

    None of his victims want to press charges against Jaquay, but he is facing charges for disorderly conduct from local constabulary.

  • FBI agent’s negligent discharge injures one

    FBI agent’s negligent discharge injures one

    An unnamed off-duty FBI agent was showing off his “dance moves” when his concealed firearm fell from his waistband. When he retrieved the gun, I guess he picked it up with the trigger, because it discharged injuring a by-stander according to the Denver Post;

    “The victim was transported to the hospital with a good prognosis,” the [Denver police] news release read.

    The name of the agent wasn’t released because he hasn’t been charged, said Marika Putnam, a Denver police spokeswoman.

    All firearms are loaded always – every time you touch the trigger, the gun will discharge.

    You’ll want to stay out of the comments wherever you see this article, because the gun control crowd thinks that all of gun owners are like this wooden-headed Bozo. The media calls this an “accidental discharge”, but it’s a negligent discharge.

    Jose Alvarez-Marrero; another kind of phony vet

    Reb and Thundrstixx send us a link to the story of Jose Alvarez-Marrero in Hialeah, Florida who was neutering dogs with no real training;

    Alvarez-Marrero, 58, faces three counts of practicing veterinary medicine without a license and animal cruelty with an intent to injure or kill and was booked into Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

    Hialeah police learned of the illegal makeshift veterinary practice inside the couple’s apartment on East 50th Street after Omarnestor Delrio took his 12-year-old American bulldog, Royalty, to Alvarez-Marrero and Gonzalez to be neutered on April 23.

    He had brought his pets to Alvarez-Marrero before.

    After several procedures, Royalty was in such bad shape that Delrio took him to a Knowles Animal Clinic in Miami. There, a vet told him the neutering procedure on the dog “was beyond medical malpractice.” It was, the police report said, “pure animal cruelty.”

    Royalty died on April 30.

  • Fake cops in Flint, Michigan

    Fake cops in Flint, Michigan

    According to MLive, about ten people calling themselves the Genesee County Fire and EMS Media-Genesee County Task Force Blight Agency have been pretending to be law enforcement officers for about three years in Flint, Michigan – pretend-arresting and detaining people with their pretend uniforms and pretend police car.

    Leyton authorized charges against three people on Wednesday, May 30, that include three counts of unlawful imprisonment and one count of impersonating a peace officer to commit a crime.

    Emily Nicole Burrison, 27, of Burton, and Jeffrey Lee Jones, 29, of Flint, were arraigned on the charges Thursday, May 31, before Genesee District Judge David Goggins.

    A third Flint man was charged in connection with the case and he was taken into custody while working at Cedar Point in Ohio. Investigators said he is being held at the Erie County Jail while awaiting extradition to Genesee County for arraignment on the charges.

    Court records indicate there are five other co-defendants in the case, however, charges have not yet been filed against them.

    Police say that there were times that the pretend cops arrived on the crime scenes ahead of legitimate first responders.

    [Kevin Shanlian, chief of the Genesee County Parks ranger division] said there was a core group of about 10 people who were impersonating police since October 2015.

    “I believe there’s probably hundreds of victims who were actually detained and didn’t have good experiences with these folks,” Shanlian said.

    It looks like they also consumed the donut rations of every cop in area.

  • Samantha Bee is the feckless c### here

    The other night, Samantha Bee, the shrieking harpy on TBS’ low-rated “Full Frontal” program called Ivanka Trump a “feckless c###” and People reports that two of her sponsors, Autotrader and Farmers’ Insurance, have pulled their ads as a result.

    CNN Money reported that an Autotrader spokesperson explained the suspension is not a temporary thing. “We will not run Autotrader advertising on Samantha Bee’s show moving forward,” they wrote in a statement to the outlet.

    State Farm Insurance is also pulling their advertising dollars.

    The company told CNN Money, “[We have] asked TBS to suspend our advertising in the program and are reviewing any future placements. We constantly review programs to ensure alignment to our programming guidelines and brand values.”

    They haven’t been paying attention to the program if this single incident triggered a response. Every week, Bee calls the President a Nazi and a racist, with no real supporting evidence.

    Her whole shtick is that she’s the only woman with a late-night program and she insults women in the Trump Administration, you know, because conservative women are not worthy of her praise. The Canadian immigrant complained that her first vote in a Presidential election didn’t result in Hillary Clinton winning the 2016 election.

    So. Sally Field has to weigh in on Bee’s name calling episode, according to CNN;

    Sally Field…tweeted on Thursday afternoon that Bee was wrong to call the first daughter a “cunt.”

    “Cunts are powerful, beautiful, nurturing and honest,” Field wrote.

    I guess some women are more equal than others.

  • Rachel Dolezal faces felony charges

    Rachel Dolezal faces felony charges

    Rachel Dolezal, the woman who pretended to be a Black woman is now looking at felony charges for welfare fraud, perjury and false verification for public assistance according to Fox News;

    The charges against Dolezal, who changed her name to Nkechi Diallo in October 2016, were first reported by KHQ-TV.

    According to court documents, investigators with Washington state’s Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) started looking into Dolezal’s finances in March 2017 after the publication of her autobiography, “In Full Color: Finding My Place in a Black and White World.”

    DSHS investigator Kyle Bunge said Dolezal had claimed that “her only source of income was $300.00 per month in gifts from friends.” However, the department found that she had deposited nearly $84,000 in her bank account between August 2015 and September 2017 without reporting it.

    She still claims to be black, despite the fact that both of her parents are of European extraction;

    “People didn’t seem able to consider that maybe both were true,” she said at the time. “OK, I was born to white parents, but maybe I had an authentic black identity.”

  • Clayton Pressley III sentenced again

    Clayton Pressley III sentenced again

    Last year, we talked about Clayton Pressley III, a former sailor when he was sentenced for identity theft of his subordinate sailors. He got 50 months in prison for that. It seems that while investigators dug into that charge, they discovered that there was a larger plot afoot according to the Virginian-Pilot;

    The Bronze Star recipient was also ripping off the Navy through an elaborate procurement fraud scheme.

    Pressley was sentenced Tuesday to two years in federal prison in connection with the $2.3 million fraud. That is on top of four years and two months he received in the identity theft case, in which he fraudulently obtained $24,000 in loans.

    The fraud charges stem from Pressley’s efforts in 2014 to manipulate the Navy’s procurement process for personal profit. According to court documents, Pressley, then a senior chief petty officer, and unnamed co-conspirators were selling Navy “inert training aids,” or fake bombs, that were never shipped but marked as delivered.

    According to court documents, an unnamed Navy officer who had purchasing authority ordered the aids from two vendors, identified as Firm D and Firm V.

    Friendly sales representatives from those firms funneled orders to Firm G, a Tucson, Ariz.-based business that served as a front for Pressley, the mother of one of his children and other co-conspirators. No goods were ever delivered, documents said.

    Who knew that there was that much money in training aids?

    Thanks to Mick for the link.
