    Felonious Manning for Senate

    The person formerly known as Bradley Manning, the person who was sentenced to 35 years in prison on five counts of espionage and then had his sentence commuted decades short of completion by the previous president. The person who, just the other day proclaimed “F### the police” on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, has filed to run for a seat in the US Senate representing the State of Maryland according to the Washington Post.

    Chelsea Manning, the transgender former Army private who was convicted of passing sensitive government documents to Wikileaks, has filed to run for the U.S. Senate in Maryland, according to federal election filings.

    Manning, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment, would be challenging Ben Cardin, who has served two terms in the Senate. He was first elected in 2007.

    I’ve always said that we should rescind the 17th Amendment and this is proof when any felon, traitor or spy off the street can just up and run for the Senate, it’s time to turn back the clock and go back to Senators appointed by State Legislatures.

    I don’t think even the Maryland voters are stupid enough to vote for this crook.

  • Brandon Freeman impersonates cop

    Brandon Freeman impersonates cop

    The Visalia Sun Gazette recounts the story of 29-year-old Brandon Freeman who thought that it’s easier to pretend to be a police officer than to actually train as one;

    Brandon Freeman, 29, was driving a 2008 Buick sedan in the area of Mooney Boulevard and Cartmill Avenue just north of Tulare when he activated a red light attached to his vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The car, being driven by an off duty sergeant with the Visalia Police Department, didn’t pull over immediately and continued driving toward Visalia where he coordinated a [stop] on the vehicle with VPD patrol units.

    Freeman was interviewed and arrested for impersonating an officer and other charges. A passenger in this vehicle was also arrested and booked into jail for outstanding felony warrants.

    I don’t know why he didn’t get away with it. Don’t all police drive ten-year-old Buicks? I’m sure that his passenger was happy, too.

    Felonious Manning: F### the police

    The former Bradley Manning, who released hundreds of thousands of classified documents, and as a result was sentenced to 35 years at the Leavenworth Disciplinary Barracks for being guilty of five counts of espionage, and whose sentence was commuted by the previous President, Tweeted out “F### the police”, according to Fox News on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

    Not surprisingly, the creature has no respect for the law, you know, after having beat the system by being released decades before his sentence ended.

    He added some doubtful BS to his screed.

    If the police were as bad as Manning says, he’d have been shot a long time ago, creepy little shit that he is.

  • Navy vet fighting for his life

    Navy vet fighting for his life

    Fox5 San Diego reports that Navy Veteran Shawn Burrough is in the Intensive Care Unit at Sharp Grossmont Hospital there fighting for his life after contracting the influenza virus;

    [His wife] Jennifer said it all started around Christmas when a flu bug hit the Burrough household.

    “He had a little chest congestion, headache, body ache — the usual stuff where you’re like, OK, I’m getting the flu,” said Jennifer.

    Even though Shawn was sick, he continued to work and didn’t rest.

    Jennifer said the next thing she knew, on New Year’s Day they were in the emergency room.

    “He couldn’t breathe. They had to rush me out, they had to intubate him and sedate him,” said Jennifer. “They told me he was in renal failure, his white count was through the roof, he has severe pneumonia.”

    The Burroughs chose not to get the flu shot this year because “the success rate was low.” The success rate is even lower if you don’t get the shot. It’s also low if you ignore the symptoms and wait until you can’t breathe to see a doctor.

  • Joshua Boyle facing 15 charges

    Joshua Boyle facing 15 charges

    We talked about Canadian Joshua Boyle and his American wife, Caitlan Coleman, when they were rescued from the Taliban by Pakistani Special Forces last year. The two had gone on a walkabout through terrorist country when they were captured and held for five years. Two were captured and five were rescued – they decided that, since they were in their prime child-bearing years during their captivity, they would take advantage of the Taliban’s free medical care and birthed three kids.

    Anyway, Joshua is facing charges for 15 counts of violent crimes, according to CBC;

    Court records show Boyle, 34, is facing 15 charges and that he made a court appearance at the Ottawa courthouse on New Year’s Day. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court via video link Wednesday morning.

    Boyle was charged with:

    – Eight counts of assault.

    – Two counts of sexual assault.

    – Two counts of unlawful confinement.

    – One count of uttering threats.

    – One count of public mischief.

    – One count of administering a noxious thing.

    It is alleged the offences happened in Ottawa between Oct. 14 and Dec. 30. The court records show there are two alleged victims, however, their identities are subject to a publication ban and can’t be reported.

    In the words of Hank Hill, that boy ain’t right. He takes his pregnant wife walking around Terrorstan, then while they’re being held captive in generally unsanitary conditions, he knocks her up three times and now this. They were rescued in October, 2017 and that’s when his criminal behavior began.

    I forgot to mention that Boyle’s first marriage was to the sister of Gitmo graduate Omar Khadr, who pleaded guilty to terror crimes.

    Where are her parents?

  • Chicago wants UN peacekeepers

    Chicago wants UN peacekeepers

    Remember when President Trump was talking about sending Federal troops to quell the violence in Chicago and the uproar that caused? Well, according to Chicago Fox 32, Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin was in New York this week to discuss with United Nations officials a possibility that the UN could mount a peacekeeping mission in the City of Big Shoulders.

    Boykin met with the U.N.’s assistant secretary-general for peace-building support.

    He calls the violence in Chicago a, “quiet genocide” in the city’s black community and he appealed to the U.N. because it’s trained in keeping the peace.

    There is no word on exactly what they’ll be doing when they get to the city.

    From CBS Local;

    Boykin said Chicago must “utilize every avenue” available to protect its people from gun violence, possibly including U.N. peacekeepers.

    “They’ve been able to help in places like Africa and abroad, where they’ve sent troops in and sent forces in to help protect minority and vulnerable populations, and so quite frankly I think the same can be said for here in Chicago,” Boykin said. “I’m talking about physical security. I’m also talking about maybe suggestions for what we can do in Chicago to help protect our minority populations. We’re being, again, decimated by the violence that we see here in Chicago. I mean this is really a genocide, and we have to do something to stop it.”

    Somehow, troops from the third world are more palatable to Chicago leadership than Americans.

    “I know that the mayor may tout the fact that the number of people being shot is down, and the number of people being killed is down, but let me tell you, we’ve had over 600 people killed by gun violence already this year alone. That is a huge number,” Boykin said.

    Through the end of November, Chicago has had at least 620 homicides. While down significantly from last year, when there were more than 720 homicides through November, that’s still a significant increase from most of the past 15 years.

    Yeah, just wait until there are a bunch of blue helmets roaming the streets.

  • Gage Shriver asks judge to replace prison sentence with Marine Corps enlistment

    Gage Shriver asks judge to replace prison sentence with Marine Corps enlistment

    In Claremore, Oklahoma, Gage Shriver, 21-years-old asked a judge to substitute a stint in the Marine Corps for his prison sentence when he was convicted of a hit-and-run charge that cost one girl, Noelle New, her life and left another, Maranda Talley, critically injured.

    Gage Shriver made the request to dodge prison time during a pre-sentence investigation report obtained by KOKI.

    “I’m not the type of person that would leave those girls there for dead,” he said in the report. “I ask that you allow me to join the Marine Corps.”

    New’s mother, Brandy Whitmire, said she was shocked to hear his request.

    “So, yeah, I was just kind of shocked and I thought, oh, so you just want a little slap on the wrist,” she said. “It’s a lifetime of not being held accountable.”

    Dakota Shriver was convicted of second-degree murder and Gage Shriver was convicted of first-degree manslaughter.

    Yeah, that doesn’t happen anymore, if it ever happened for a case which cost someone their life. But, nice try, gumball. I’m pretty sure that the Marine Corps wouldn’t want his stank ass anyway.

    The brothers each got 25 years in The Big House.

    Charles Robert Jenkins, deserter passes at 77

    Reuters reports that Charles Robert Jenkins who deserted from his US Army post in South Korea to the North in 1965 has passed at the age of 77;

    He drank 10 beers, took his men on patrol and told them to wait while he checked the road below. He then walked towards North Korea, holding a rifle with a white t-shirt tied around it. He said he had planned to go to Russia and turn himself in, and had not expected North Korea to keep him.

    While in North Korea, where he taught English to soldiers and portrayed an evil U.S. spy in a propaganda film, Jenkins met and married Hitomi Soga, a Japanese woman 20 years his junior who had been kidnapped by North Korea to help train spies.

    Unlike Bergdahl, Jenkins actually spent time in jail for his walkabout after he returned to the real world in 2004. He died in his wife’s hometown in Japan.
