  • There is hope for the future of this world.

There is hope for the future of this world.

Just when you think all hope is lost, some kid steps forward and makes the right choices in the midst of chaos.

A lot of kids love waffles, but one 3-year-old Georgia boy’s passion for the breakfast food is so great, his mom held his birthday party at Waffle House.

Lawson Cooper’s love of the 24-hour breakfast chain began at a young age. “Lawson has loved Waffle House since he began eating solid food,” his mom, Natalie Cooper, told ABC News.

Lawson’s mom said her young son always orders the same thing whenever they visit his favorite spot: “The kids’ waffle with sausage and a boiled egg on the side.” The only stipulation? “Just not at breakfast time.”
It’s a rough world out there kid, but I see great things in your future.  We can rest easy that there will be defenders of this great nation for many years to come.

  • Jew-ish Lawyer has letter sent to Secretary Mattis demanding he put an end to Christian-ish animus.

It must be fundraising season for Mikey.  I will no longer provide links to his nonsense because it benefits the Google Gods of which he stands in favor.  They told me as much.  So the Bald Avenger is on his  Don Quixote like rampage to fight this Secret Christian Dominion.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), a nonprofit that advocates for separation of church and state in the military, sent the letter after receiving what its founder and president Michael “Mikey” Weinstein said were 41 complaints about Brigadier General E. John Teichert. Newsweek has seen one of the complaints, but has agreed to keep the complainant’s name confidential.

Teichert, who flew combat missions over Iraq and the former Yugoslavia, according to his official bio, runs a website called Prayers at Lunchtime for the United States (PLUS). On it, in addition to short essays on Bible passages, and calls to pray to make America more Christian, he identifies himself only as “John.” The website doesn’t mention Edwards Air Force Base, but Teichert recently posted a picture of his newly acquired general’s epaulet star, alongside a note about his new rank on the PLUS site.

Among the items on a long “prayer list” are: “A return to our Biblical Foundation”; “Appreciation for our national Christian heritage”; “Appreciation for a nation formed, blessed and prospered by God’s power” and “The unborn.”

Well there we have it, this monster in uniform has a “prayer list”.  That SOB needs to be stopped, covertly praying  as “John”,  its outrageous.

In a 22-page complaint letter sent Sunday to Mattis and to Teichert’s superiors at the base and at the Pentagon, and shared with Newsweek, the MRFF requests an investigation into whether his “conduct interferes with or violates the civil liberties of service-members and civilians under his command,” and whether it violated military diversity regulations.

Of course the people who have been denied their Freedom From (mostly Christian) Religion need to be protected from this proselytizing maniac.

All MRFF clients at EAFB regarding this issue have insisted upon anonymity because of rational and
realistic fears of retaliation. Indeed, one MRFF client, because of the current “Command Climate,”
that has changed since Brig Gen Teichert assumed command only one month ago, is in actual fear
of physical violence to him/her and family should his/her identity as a complainant be exposed.

If you have a love for Lawyers who use dime store Latin inter alia, please read the entire letter HERE or the entire ARTICLE HERE.  Far be it for me to seem Self-ish, but I am having difficulty finding a single complaint about actual discrimination where this “John” guy acted out while in uniform.  Maybe its ab absurdo to expect a real action of some kind in these cases.  Something like making an Airperson accept this Jesus guy during an NJP or something.  We used to call that  stuff evidence.  But, at least its nice to see Mikey spreading the wealth around by having one of his lawyer-ish friends file the paperwork.

I would like to make it known that no 0302-ish people were harmed in the promulgation of this post.  Ahh, the soft bigotry of low expectation.

Army veteran killed protecting children on fist day of school.

The first day of class at a Texas elementary school quickly went from a day of excitement to one of tragedy Monday as a mother was killed shielding several children from a car in the school’s parking lot.

Kharisma Ashlee James, 33, died at the scene at Mary N. Tippin Elementary School, in El Paso. Three students were also injured, including two of the James’ children, school officials said. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Victor Araiza, chief of the El Paso Independent School District’s police force, said at a media briefing Tuesday morning that the victim’s 6-year-old daughter, her 7-year-old son and the third child, a 10-year-old fellow student, are in serious condition but are getting better. “All of those children are expected to survive,” Araiza said.

James’ Facebook page indicated that she was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq. After eight years in the service, she went back to school with the help of a scholarship from the Women’s Fund of El Paso, according to a May 2017 blog post on the organization’s website.

Are there even words … it is said that, “A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.”

  • Panhandling veteran gets up out of his wheelchair and walks.

Panhandling veteran gets up out of his wheelchair and walks.

I do not recommend that anyone do what I do.  I collect cardboard signs from people begging money who claim to be veterans.  Only once have I found it to be an actual veteran with honorable service.  That one stayed in one of my apartments for 3 weeks until he moved to live with a family member.  The Soviet has asked that I not “collect” signs and such while she is standing or sitting right next to me.  A few weeks back in Savannah, GA when I came across one of these guys sitting with a USMC RECON sign, I didn’t even have to say anything to her.  She just calmly walked across the street and waited for me.  If there is one thing I can not stand it’s people begging for money as veterans…fake or otherwise.  If there is one thing I love it is a woman who lets me participate in my hobbies at a whims notice.

An Idaho resident is warning others about giving money to two panhandlers in the Post Falls area after he saw one of them get up out of his wheelchair and walk to his car following a day’s ‘work’ of begging for change.

Tim Stephens said in a Facebook post that he had stopped a Walmart in the area when he saw a man with an eye patch sitting in a wheelchair near the exit asking people for money. He said the man was holding a sign that read: ‘USMC (United States Marine Corp) thanks and God bless.’

Stephens said after he left the store he pulled into a parking lot across the street so his grandchildren could eat their food. As he was parked, he said a white car pulled into a space a few spots down from him.

Of course it turned  out that this “person of interest” could walk and see just fine.

Stephens was so angry over situation he confronted the panhandler waiting in the car. He said when he approached the vehicle the guy’s lap was full of cash and he had removed his eye patch because he didn’t need it.

‘I asked … if he was busy counting all that money he stole from people,’ Stephens posted. ‘He looked up at me with no eye patch and both eyes. With a grin he said “every penny”. He was lucky I had my grandkids with me.’

Stephens said he told the guy that he needed to leave town, and then went across the street the same thing.

‘Watch out for these thieves,’ he warned.

The entire article with pictures and such is available HERE.

As I said, I do NOT recommend anyone do what I do in these situations.  I calmly and convincingly explain to these gentlemen that it is not my preference for them to beg for money in the name of veterans and through thoughtful meditation and careful reconsideration they give me their sign.  Once, while both of my sons watched from the vehicle, one of these beggars was kind enough to give me a baseball bat.  That was very thoughtful and considerate of him.  Fairly sure my oldest son still has that bat.  Please, do not try this at home…call your local Law Enforcement Officer.

    Sam Adams, still kicking ass.

In case you missed it, the owner of the Boston Brewing Company and makers of Sam Adams Boston Lager had some things to say about President Trump:

Boston Beer Co.’s chairman, Jim Koch, is not one to shy away from speaking his mind.

He proved it again Tuesday night. The founder of Boston’s best-known brewery told President Trump at a dinner in New Jersey that the corporate tax cut the administration successfully pushed last year has played a major role in making his company more competitive with foreign competitors (that he didn’t name). Going forward, Koch vowed, Boston Beer is “going to kick their ass.”

You can watch his video and read the article from the Boston Globe HERE.  There used to be an American brewing company that had some horses but they were bought by snow flakes from who knows where.    Next time you are out and about try ordering a Sam Adams, because you’re American and not some Euro commie pinko.

  • “Trump signs bill named for Sen. John McCain, doesn’t mention him”

“Trump signs bill named for Sen. John McCain, doesn’t mention him”

President Donald Trump on Monday signed a $716 billion defense policy bill named for John McCain but included no mention in his remarks of the Republican senator, who is battling brain cancer at home in Arizona.

Trump and McCain are engaged in a long-running feud that dates to Trump’s 2016 presidential run. At campaign rallies, Trump regularly castigates McCain — without outright naming him — for casting a dramatic thumbs-down vote that doomed Trump’s effort last year to repeal the Affordable Care Act, which was enacted by President Barack Obama.

Trump said there was “no better place than right here at Fort Drum” to celebrate passage of the defense bill, which will boost military pay by 2.6 percent, giving service members their largest increase in nine years.

I have not read the entire thing but there are some very interesting things brewing.

Besides setting policy and spending levels, the bill weakens a bid to clamp down on Chinese telecom company ZTE. It allows Trump to waive sanctions against countries that bought Russian weapons and now want to buy U.S. military equipment. The bill provides no money for Trump’s requested Space Force but authorizes the military parade he wants in Washington in November. The White House has said it will outline a budget for the space force next year.

Damn, no Space Force yet.  I have been waiting decades for those alien bastards to pay for shooting up my ride.   What are they waiting for?  Christmas?

    Tuesday morning feel good stories

    From Danville, IL

An intruder may have been wounded by an armed homeowner. Police responded to a home in the 900-block of East Fairchild Street, about 12:30 am, Sunday.

The homeowner reported hearing loud knocking before seeing two men in his backyard. The homeowner told officers he heard someone enter through a window and saw the intruder with a gun. He fired several shots causing the intruders to run away.

A person of interest, being treated for a gunshot wound, was questioned at a the hospital but was uncooperative. Officials say, at this time, they’re not able to connect him to the crime.

    From Jacksonville, FL

A Florida man broke into a home and armed himself with the homeowner’s home defense shotgun, only to have the homeowner gain back control of the gun and shoot him.

David Marrero told WJXT he arrived home from work at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday to find his place ransacked. When he went to his bedroom to investigate further, he encountered 25-year-old Brandon Nicholas—whom he had met a few weeks earlier—in the process of escaping out the window.  As Nicholas turned and saw Marrero, he pulled Marrero’s own shotgun, which he had swiped, and pointed it at him.  “I got out of the way as fast as I could and he started talking, ‘Man I’m not going to shoot you,’” Marrero recalled.

Nicholas might have told Marrero he wasn’t going to shoot him, but he evidently had other ideas. “That’s when I heard the first click,” Marrero said. Thankfully, Marrero’s shotgun was unloaded. “He insisted, ‘Man I just want to talk to you. I just want to talk to you.’ By that time, he crawled back inside the window,” Marrero said. “He’s walking backwards with the shotgun on me the whole time. By midway through the hallway, I recognize the guy. I’m like, ‘I know who you are.’ And then I heard another click.’”  Marrero tried to reason with Nicholas.  “(I told him), ‘I promise you, just leave. You got my gun. You got my money. Just leave. I won’t call the cops until you leave,’” Marrero said. “‘Just give me my shotgun. You’ve taken everything from me.’ And then he got mad and slams it on the couch.”

Sensing an opportunity, Marrero grabbed his home defense shotgun, loaded it and aimed it at Nicholas. Marrero then started demanding his belongings back from Nicholas, but the would-be burglar instead started leaning over to look at one of his bags.Things turned physical from there.

“I took my gun around and flipped it around and I smacked him as hard as I could in the back of the neck with the buttstock of the shotgun,” Marrero said. “He started to crawl back a little bit and he said, ‘I got something for you now. I got something for you.’”  Marrero says Nicholas then reached inside his bag.  “So when he reached in his bag, going to stand up, I said, ‘Don’t do it.’ And then that’s when I shot him.”

Nicholas managed to flee the scene, but was found by police about a mile away after a report of another shooting nearby. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and now faces charges of burglary and committing an act that could cause death.

Marrero’s wife Alisa Stuart told WJAX that her husband called her and told her that Nicholas had broke in “through the window. He ransacked the house. He stole our cash and I shot him in the knee,’” Stuart said.

Crime is reportedly a growing problem in the area.

“Everybody on the street is armed and ready to fire,” Stuart said.
