There is hope for the future of this world.

Just when you think all hope is lost, some kid steps forward and makes the right choices in the midst of chaos.

A lot of kids love waffles, but one 3-year-old Georgia boy’s passion for the breakfast food is so great, his mom held his birthday party at Waffle House.

Lawson Cooper’s love of the 24-hour breakfast chain began at a young age. “Lawson has loved Waffle House since he began eating solid food,” his mom, Natalie Cooper, told ABC News.

Lawson’s mom said her young son always orders the same thing whenever they visit his favorite spot: “The kids’ waffle with sausage and a boiled egg on the side.” The only stipulation? “Just not at breakfast time.”
It’s a rough world out there kid, but I see great things in your future.  We can rest easy that there will be defenders of this great nation for many years to come.

    Good for you, Lawson!

Stick to your guns on this. Keep the tradition rolling.

I see a bright future for this one.

Down here in the Southeast, you can tell if the weather is going to be very, very bad …

When a Waffle House closes, it’s bad.

Hope the kid never waffles on his convictions.

At Ft Bragg, NC, there are literally two waffle houses across the street from each other diagonally. They’ve both been there for decades and survived.

Two best times to go to waffle house, after a PT test and after a long night out at clubs, be they strip or social oriented.

I’m always good for a Waffle House Patty Melt along with some hash Browns smashed and scattered with onions and green pepper!

Loves me some Waffle House. Been grazing there since about 55/56, this young man’s age. Vaguely remember Tom & Joe’s 1st store up @ Avondale as a youngster. As a former road warrior have eaten @ nearly all 2000 + stores. Joe & Tom were WWII Vets from the AAC. Down here, it’s not unusual to have one on both sides of the interstate. Also, lots of places, direction start by saying turn @ the Waffle House, (except May retta it’s turn left @ The Big Chicken). Never had a bad meal, food poison, and could watch it prepared to order. Knew a number of the franchisees who made a damn good living out of there.

Too bad for me. No Waffle Houses in SLC that I’m aware of. The closest we have is IHOP, and that’s not even close. (sigh……..)

Waffle house coffee. If anyone here ever misses Army mess hall coffee…..strong,thick, as if was freshly drained from Gamma Goat’s crankcase.
