The SSG who saved 4th of July for Liberty, Kentucky

So, instead of my having a 4 day weekend, I decided to drive down. So, if any TAH’ers live in the Liberty, Kentucky area live nearby, would love to link up.

I live about 15 minutes from Liberty. Come by the farm and I’ll buy you a beer. Shoot me an email if you are interested.

TSO don’t be scaring the children with your crazy old man bread.

Holy hell, a ‘small town America’ town with a name like ‘Liberty Kentucky’ tries to cancel a July 4th celebration due to a “lack of interest”?!

And people wonder why I’m so glum about the Nation’s future.

I applaud SSgt Philips’ actions and sincerely hope he has helped re-invigorate a sense of national pride and ownership in their community, but I’m appalled it had to come to that in the first place.

3 counties south and east of my farm. Great man and glad SSG Phillips’ rallied the troops. Thanks for the Post. Lots of troops, former troops and retired troops in this area with Fort Knox 3 counties up and Fort
Campbell an hour and a half pretty much due west.
