Oh, Fer Christsakes – Send the Little Idiot Back!

You’ve probably all heard about the DNI – James Clapper – and his trip to North Korea earlier this month.  During that trip, the DNI secured the release of two Americans detained there – Matthew Miller and Kenneth Bae.  He brought them back to the US.

Well, guess what.  One of them now reportedly claims he really wanted to stay in North Korea.

Seriously.

Fine.  Then give the little dumbsh!t the paperwork to renounce his US citizenship – and once he’s done that, put him on a plane to Korea, bus him to Panmunjum, and march his stupid butt north across the “Bridge of No Return”.  Problem solved.

For some reason this keeps running through my mind.  I’m guessing it’s also what must be running through Clapper’s mind right about now.  With apologies to Strother Martin:

What we’ve got here is . . . failure to communicate.  Some men, you just can’t reach.  So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it . . . well, he gets it.  I don’t like it any more than you men.

If one wishes to renounce their citizenship, it is done on foreign soil at a US Embassy…Let this one figure out his own way back to NoK. 😎

    1. Hondo

streetsweeper: we do that, he won’t bother. And then he’ll still be a US citizen with right of reentry to the US. If he renounces it while still on US soil, he’d have to apply to immigrate.

I personally don’t want to take the chance that he changes his mind and we have to go get the little sh!thead again.

  2. The Other Whitey

I believe the Air Force or Navy could give him a ride. Strapped securely to a Mk-84.

    1. Hondo

The ride sounds like a good idea, too. But why waste a weapon or parachute?

      1. The Other Whitey

Why would the weapon be wasted, Hondo? There’s plenty of stuff around Yongbyon, for example, that could use a judicious application of high explosives. Two birds, one stone, so to speak.

Just wait until the end of the fiscal year: end-of-year spending! And call it a training opportunity.

        2. Hondo

Not enough HE yield in a MK-84 to be of real utility unless delivered in Pyongyang directly on a meeting of their ruling council/politburo/family circle/whatever the hell passes for senior leadership in the DPRK these days. And that would probably get us some bad ink in diplomatic circles anyway, which Lord knows the US doesn’t realy need right now.

          1. The Other Whitey

You’re taking all the fun out of it, Hondo! It doesn’t have to be the only Mk-84 involved! Besides, the Glorious Leader seems hell-bent on trying to FUBAR his way into wars with people we have no reason to fight (IS notwithstanding), we might as well start one with somebody we actually should fight!

  3. Pinto Nag

From the article, it sounds like the furthest he needs to go is to the local psychiatric hospital. the man is messed up in the head.

  4. QM1

Perhaps our administration should focus a little less on rescuing deserters/traitors from these hostile regions…..

    (also see Bergdahl story)

  5. NR Pax

People like him are why we used to detain the mentally ill regardless of their wishes.

  6. Serious question here: Could this be a form of Stockholm Syndrome? If so, the man needs some help.

I don’t think it’s beyond the realm of possibility.

If not, send the little screwball back to North Korea. Preferably with a Suicide Vest so he could still be useful.

    1. I don’t think it’s Stockholm Syndrome; he said he manufactured a journal that would make him look like a spy so he could get tossed in prison. I think he has a thing for an endless stream of Asian men.

  7. Mr Wolf

So, they’ll go get some mental leftist-wanna-be from NORK, and drag his ass back here, but they won’t go get one good-guy Marine from Mexico?

    WTF, over…

  8. Guard Bum

I hate to be contrary om a Friday but your headline for this was not very good. I believe instead of idiot you should have used “whiny bitch”.

I’m not buying the Stockholm syndrome bit either; he is nothing but a wanna be traitor and should be treated as such.

  9. Sparks

Matthew Miller, the little shit stain, should have been “fixed” before birth, which was apparently from his mother’s ass anyway.

Karl Childers’ would have spoke for him then, “little fellar”.

  10. Eric

    I call shenanigans.

If he wanted to stay in nK, they would’ve let him stay so they could use him as a propaganda token.

That means, nK didn’t want him and he was too whiny even for them so they were happy to ship him back to the US.

Did anyone see them smiling when they did the transfer? Or laughing maybe? (“they think we placated due to their excerrent diplomatic skills….Bahahahahahahahaha)

    1. YankeeJim

I think we are looking at this all wrong. What about the North Koreans? Maybe they didnt want the little fucker either.

We probably got Bae back because we offered to take the other shithead also.

      1. Eric

I think you got it Jim. They made us take him back, or they wouldn’t give us Bae.

        1. Hondo

I think that’s probably it. The NK leaders are not dumb. They realize anyone trying to get into their abomination of a nation is either a spy or crazier than hell.

NK is far away, why not give him a one-way trip to Cuba via Mexico where he could renounce his US Citizenship in front of US Consulate Personnel, then he could enjoy life in that “Tropical Worker’s Paradise”!

    1. Hondo

He doesn’t want to go to Cuba, PI – he wants to go to the DPRK. So we should help him get his wish.

So long as renounces his US citizenship before leaving, of course. That way, the trip is definitely one-way/no backing out.

      1. AW1Ed

Now Hondo, I’m all about consensus. He wants to go, we don’t want to send.

Meet him half way. Drop him off about two hundred nautical miles passed Midway Island, point of departure depending, of course.

    What an ungreatful little shit.

    1. 2/17 Air Cav

He went to great lengths to be arrested. Evidently, he is such as asshole, even the NORKs didn’t want him.

“They were the last two Americans held captive by North Korea.”

Um, no. There were the last two living Americans held captive by North Korea.
