The only time I have had an issue with a reporter and asthetics was during the 2004 race when (I think it was) CNN had Candy Crowley following Bush, and some hot young thing tracking Kerry. Now, was that planned? I don’t know. I wouldn’t want to malign them on a potential non-issue, but it still bugged me.

Casey, Dr. Krauthammer is paralyzed. That wheelchair confinement, though not shown on TV, does abet some of that feeling no?

“determined to tackle health care reform”, really? Talk about tone-deaf. But I saw this last night, and, as usual, in his understated way, Krauthammer was dead on. And, I vote for option #3, it’s the only one we can afford.
