  • Infowars: bin Laden has been on ice for a decade

    I thought Gordon Duff was a nutbag, but, he’s got nuthin’ on Alex Jones’ Infowars. Their writer Paul Joseph Watson claims that bin Laden’s body has been on ice for a decade waiting for the politically appropriate moment;

    In April 2002, over nine years ago, Council on Foreign Relations member Steve R. Pieczenik, who served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance, and James Baker, told the Alex Jones Show that Bin Laden had already been “dead for months”.

    Pieczenik would be in a position to know such information, having worked directly with Bin Laden when the US was funding and arming the terror leader in an attempt to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan in the late 70?s and early 80?s (a documented historical fact that talking heads in the corporate media are actually denying today in light of developments).

    “I found out through my sources that he had had kidney disease. And as a physician, I knew that he had to have two dialysis machines and he was dying,” Pieczenik told Jones during the April 24, 2002 interview.

    So, I guess the close 2004 election wasn’t reason enough to stage an event like last night’s. Or the inevitable losses by the respective sitting administrations of the 2006, 2008 or 2010 elections weren’t reason enough. But releasing the birth certificate and shutting up Donald Trump was somehow the imperative moment.

  • My dream ticket

    Yeah, from a blogging standpoint, this is too much craziness to ignore. I mean now on a slow day I can depend on Joe “Bite Me” Biden to tell a cripple to stand up or something. Just imagine two people who are twice as crazy as Bite Me campaigning on opposite ends of the country for each other.

    Fox News interviews Ventura on the potential for a Paul/Ventura ticket;

    Jesse Ventura’s publicist confirms he’d consider running on the same ticket with Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, if he ran as an independent, but Paul’s camp has yet to respond to the suggestion.

    “He said he would consider running with him,” Says Jen Hobbs, who’s organizing Ventura’s current book tour. “If Paul ran as a Republican, Jesse would run as independent on same ticket. Or if Paul switched to Independent, he would seriously consider it.”

    Or, if Paul was wearing bunny ears and Ventura could wear a tu-tu. Or if Paul would sing a round of “Row, row, row your boat” with Taylor Swift while Ventura played with his action figures.

    And the Paulians would come out of their basements again. Do you know how long it’s been since someone has told me to “read a book sometime”? And Ventura has those three guys who never missed an episode of his TV show.

    Naw, I don’t want them to win (not much danger of that), I just want them to campaign.

  • Adam Kokesh defects to the Russians

    1stCavRVN11B and one of my ninjas sent me this link to Adam Kokesh’s latest venture – a TV show on Russia TV from their studios in DC. I guess he figures its safe to come back to DC now that I’ve left.

    Yeah, well, he can talk about how concerned he is about this country, but I remember when he wasn’t.

    Ron Paul 059

  • Mainstreaming Paulians

    By now, you’ve probably already read that Ron Paul won the straw poll at the CPAC conference this weekend for the second year running. Paulians led the jeering at Donald Rumsfeld’s and Dick Cheney’s speech. It maintains the image that we all had of the Paulians during the 2008 Presidential campaign. A small group which doesn’t represent the majority take control of small venues presenting an image that they’re larger and more influential than they really are.

    Thankfully, they no longer spam blogs with their “read a book!”

    I’ve said many times that although I agree with much of Ron Paul’s domestic policy, but his foreign policies are completely irresponsible and negate anything else he might have to say. I’ve also commented before that the Tea Party movement has a “Ron Paul feeling” to it…just like the feeling I had when I was watching the Oath Keeper movement.

    And now that feeling has nearly taken over the Tea Party crowd. In the Guardian yesterday, the lines between the Paulians and the Tea Party have disappeared.

    What had been a relatively low-grade domestic dispute between the Republican party establishment and the libertarian-minded Tea Party movement boiled over into the public arena during this week’s CPAC conference in Washington….

    Rand Paul’s campaign blindly embraced IVAW member Adam Kokesh’s congressional run in New Mexico until it became a political liability. Oath Keepers embraced Adam Kokesh and Eric Oereski until This Ain’t Hell exposed them (here and here). But who is going to expose the Ron Paul connections to the Tea Party and expunge their corrupt effect on the conservative wing of the Republicans?

    Elements of the Tea Party, like the Oath Keepers, hide their true Libertine intents behind pretty words and populist signage. Those elements need to be purged.

  • Paulistas interrupt Cheney at CPAC

    So while Dick Cheney made a surprise appearance at the CPAC conference he was interrupted by chanting Paulians, immature little twits who couldn’t get a room at Chuck E. Cheese for their antics (Huffington Post link);

    Making a surprise appearance at the conference to introduce former defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld for a CPAC “Defender of the Constitution Award”, Cheney told the audience to “sit down and shut up” after a crescendo of “USA, USA” chants, reportedly triggered by a “where’s Bin Laden?” exclamation.

    In the following moments of silence, screams of “war criminal,” “murdering scum,” and “draft dodger,” were reportedly hurled at Cheney.

    According to a tweet from Slate’s Dave Weigel, another malcontent later yelled “show us the shekels, Dick!” before being promptly removed by security.

    For some reason, Paulians think this is the way to take over the Republican Party…by being fucking morons. Tell me how shouting out Democrat talking points is constructive. Paulians claim to be some sort of Libertarian, but their nothing more than Democrats with Libertine drivel. Rand Paul’s endorsement of IVAW’s Adam Kokesh congressional run in New Mexico was no accident.

  • Ron Paul is a douchetool

    Ron Paul:

    “I would like to congratulate Michael Steele for his leadership on one of the most important issues of today. He is absolutely right: Afghanistan is now Obama’s war. During the 2008 campaign, Obama was out in front in insisting that more troops be sent to Afghanistan. Obama called for expanding the war even as he pretended to be a peace candidate.

    “Michael Steele should not resign. Smart policies make smart politics. He is guiding the party in the right direction and we are on the verge of victory this fall. Chairman Steele should not back off. He is giving the country, especially young people, hope as he speaks truth about this war.

    “I have to ask myself, what is the agenda of the harsh critics demanding this resignation? Why do they support Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama’s war?”

    I prefer to remember men like Patton on the 4th:

    Men, this stuff some sources sling around about America wanting to stay out of the war and not wanting to fight is a lot of baloney! Americans love to fight, traditionally. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle. America loves a winner. America will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise a coward; Americans play to win. That’s why America has never lost and never will lose a war.

    Some America F* yeah after the jump.

  • “Liberty Candidates” threaten law suits to defend Kokesh

    There’s a group of candidates in the country who call themselves the “Liberty Candidates“. Among them is IVAW member Adam Kokesh. Another group of voters have formed the “American Patriots Against Kokesh“. Two groups with varying opinions. Here is the “Liberty Candidates” Mission Statement;

    Our mission is in sync with Campaign for Liberty from whence the Liberty Candidate questions evolved:

    * Individual Liberty
    * Sound Money
    * Free Market
    * Constitutional Government
    * Non-interventionist Foreign Policy

    Our Goal is to have at least one Liberty Candidate in each state: 50 Dr. No’s*!!!

    Innocuous enough, oh, I forgot this line; “Dr. Ron Paul is a.k.a. Dr. No because he votes NO for all legislation outside the Constitution!”

    Yes, they Ron Paul supporters hiding behind their unexpressed interpretations of the Constitution.

    Well, apparently the “Liberty Candidates” don’t like the fact that the APAK folks get a voice and one of the “Liberty candidates” have threatened to sue;

    To: Susan Wolf, American Patriots Against Kokesh and associated hate groups;

    RE: Slander, Libelous Statements, Use of threats, coersion to prevent income, tampering with election funding, use of misleading video clips and doctored footage.

    On behalf of Liberty Candidates, as I am one, I find your actions abhorrent and unlawful. Those organizations using a 503c Charitable Organization charter will be subject to diciplinary measures by the authorities in your respective states. This serves as notification that Liberty Candidates, all 126+ are in the process of filing legal action against your all of the organizations in the coming week. For those of you that are private citizens that participated in this outrageous action, I should hope that you are financially well off. Your plan to threaten the citizens of the United States into not donating to a political candidate of their choice and in their state violates many laws that we do not have enough paper to possibly list here. Groups holding a 503c charter are prohibited from endorsing ANY particular candidate. By slandering Adam Kokesh, Candidate for New Mexico’s race, you have indirectly endorsed Lujan. All candidates have suffered large financial losses to their campaign funding, so enjoy your moment of gloating. It will be short lived. Rest assured, we have employed several laywers that will work on a pro bono basis to recoup these losses from your hate groups. This is your one and only notice to CEASE and DESIST from these types of unlawful activities. We are asking for the sum of $126,000,000.00 (one hundred and twenty-six million dollars) from each group responsible for these actions. We will begin serving these complaints in the next 7-10 days, one as a class action lawsuit, and should that fail; each candidate will be serving their own individual complaints against you following that. I suggest you focus your activities on a local level, and be more productive in helping those in your communities. You have run up against a large group of determined individuals that refuse to be stopped in their quest to return America back to the Constitution. We will use this great document to the fullest extent in making sure that the 2010 elections are not influnced by hate groups such as yours. Have a nice day!

    Sincerely, Steve Susman, Liberty Candidate

    Here’s Steve Susman’s website. It looks like he’s running for Congress in Texas, but who can tell by the website? Another Ron Paul basement-dwelling pseudo-intellectual who will probably end up telling me do my own research at some point.

    I guess “return America to the Constitution” means “sue everyone who disagrees with you and provides indisputable proof”.

    Since all of the evidence that I’ve provided against Kokesh is original documentation, since none of my videos have been altered in anyway, I’ll quote the smartest president of the 21st century thus far – Bring it on! If you think that Kokesh is worth dragging your organization down to his level, if you think you can campaign and wage a legal war at the same time from the comfort of your parents’ basement, sue me, bitches.

  • Oathkeepers feel the heat

    Apparently, I have spies inside Oathkeepers about which I know nothing. One of them sent me this missive from Stuart Rhodes, the founder of Oathkeepers and a former Ron Paul stafferl

    [S]elf identified IVAW members are NOT allowed to post on our forums, period. I simply don’t want them in this org. That is why Eric [Orseske] has been given the boot. They are just too divisive, and also have too many links to radical leftists and outright Marxists. Marxists are just as much enemies of our Constitution as Fascists. I’m not saying ALL IVAW are Marxists, because I know for a fact not all are. But they have some among them, and I just don’t have time to try to separate them out. And they have certainly gotten into bed with some high profile, self-identified far leftists who I consider Marxists. And, as Eric shows, they tend to be one issue people who can’t resist getting in the face of active duty with their opposition to the war. So, until a person resigns from and renounces membership in IVAW, I don’t want them here.

    Oath Keepers is neutral on the issues of the constitutionality of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars because we are focused on what is happening here at home. Yes, the constitutionality of a war certainly matters, but this org is focused on the rapid destruction of our Republic here at home. I want to reach ALL current serving, whatever their opinion of the war. I want to reach the ones in the sandbox as well as those who are here at home, most of whom support the war and are obviously emotionally invested in it. Whatever your opinion on it, how will it help to beat them over the head on it? The main point of Oath Keepers is to keep them from being used as tools of force and oppression against our people, not to debate foreign policy. So, it is counterproductive to have people here who don’t know how to leave those topics alone

    That’s 180 degrees from last September when I first posted about Oathkeepers. After that post, Rhodes and other Oathkeepers not only defended IVAW, they quoted Ron Paul’s endorsement of Adam Kokesh as justification for allowing IVAW members to broadcast their propaganda on Oathkeepers’ website. From some of the comments left here at TAH, it appears that Oathkeepers has been hemorrhaging membership as a result of their brief foray into the Left side of the political spectrum.

    It also appears that when their true thoughts about US foreign policy is known, it hurts their organization, why else would they forbid discussion of the subject? In fact, I’m sure the more we discover about the oathkeepers the less we’ll like them. Not at level of the SPLC or Mark Potok, though.
