  • Ron Paul won’t seek reelection

    Ron Paul claims that he won’t seek reelection for his congressional seat in 2012 so that he can focus on his presidential run next year according to Fox News;

    Paul made the announcement via Twitter, and linked to a local Texas newspaper to share the details.

    “I felt it was better that I concentrate on one election,” Paul told The Facts, a news service covering Brazoria County, Texas, a portion of which Paul represents. “It’s about that time when I should change tactics.”

    We may be rid of him by the end of February. Of course, he’ll probably continue to soak his hard-headed supporters who were still sending him money right up until the end of the 2008 election, although he’d been out of the race before mid-April. Somehow they were convinced he could still win. He carried 1% of the primary vote among Republicans. In some states it was as high as 5% which in his supporters’ minds was enough to win the election.

    Yes, his small government and limited spending resonates, but then he caps it off with a 19th century foreign policy – not to mention his supporters who range from Iraq Veterans Against the War to Storm Front racists and every subspecies in between.

    Yeah, I’m going to quit hitting on Scarlett Johansson so I can focus my attention on Eva LaRue, cuz my lack of focus is why I can’t score with Eva LaRue.

  • Chuck Norris a Paulian?

    The only ones reporting this are the Paulians themselves and someone at David Frum’s forum, so I don’t know how true it is;

    Chuck Norris, who famously supported former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee last election season, has thrown his hat in the ring for Rep. Ron Paul.

    Norris was influential in garnering support for Huckabee at the outset of his White House bid. The Los Angeles Times reported that Norris was “a factor in Huckabee’s popularity surge” and said in 2007, “A month ago, few even knew that Huckabee was a former governor of Arkansas, let alone a Republican candidate for president. Then karate-movie tough guy Norris … announced he was in Huckabee’s camp… Suddenly, Huckabee became the presidential example of tough-guy cool.” However, it is unclear how much his support will help the divisive Paul’s campaign this year.

    The same Chuck Norris who said this when he endorsed Huckabee:

    Though Giuliani might be savvy enough to lead people, Fred Thompson wise enough to wade through the tides of politics, McCain tough enough to fight terrorism and Romney business-minded enough to grow our economy, I believe the only one who has all the characteristics to lead America forward into the future is former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

    Yeah, Paul has none of those characteristics. So, risking an ass-kicking from Chuck Norris, i call bullshit on the story. And if it is true, Chuck Norris is a dumbass.

  • If You Want To Win Elections, Adam Kokesh Isn’t Going to Help You

    The Pima County Sheriff Office’s handling of the Jose Guerena killing could have been something that Pima County Republicans could have used against the despicable Sheriff Clarence Dupnik in the 2012 election. I say “could have” because  the incident has instead sparked infighting among Pima County Republicans and has devolved into what one local news outlet has dubbed “Facebook drama“. I originally defended Brian Miller, the Pima County GOP Chairman, who came under fire for penning a letter condemning the Pima County Sheriff Office’s handling of the Guerena killing. This was in despite of the fact that Miller was a Paultard and who in the past had done Paultarded things. However, the more I learned, the more uncomfortable I became with how Miller was acting and I have come to believe that he is basically trying to turn the Pima County Republican Party into a Ron Paul cult. Then I stumbled across this little gem:

    First of all, I still can’t get over the fact that Adam Kokesh can say with a straight face that he is a libertarian when he is a paid host on a network that is subsidized by the Kremlin. Yeah I know Uncle Jimbo appears on RT a lot but UJ isn’t a Paultard who ran for Congress on a platform of abolishing most (or all) of the government. Anyways, Brian Miller, an air force officer and OEF veteran,  should be smarter than to associate with a shitbird Marine who has consistently lied about the character of his service and who generally acts like a horse’s ass. Instead of attempting to unite the party he was elected to lead, Miller is digging in and appealing to the lunatic fringe for support.

    So good luck with that Chairman Miller and good luck with winning any elections in Pima County in the future because luck is the only way the Republicans are going to win in Pima County with a Paultard like you in charge.

  • Who’s the RINO here?

    DSC_0108

    I quit watching that Judge Napolitano freak when he allowed Adam Kokesh on his show at least twice without mentioning even once that Kokesh was in IVAW. I turned against the Oathkeepers when they started making noises about supporting Kokesh’s election to Congress in New Mexico and when their “activist of the year”. Michael Maresco. was campaigning for Kokesh at the Oathkeepers’ table at CPAC last year. Now these so called “Liberty Candidates” are inviting Kokesh to speak at their 9-10 event in NYC to “vet” candidates so they can root out RINOs.

    Notice that Kokesh and Moresco are both listed as speakers.

    Here’s Liberty Candidates’ Mission Statement;

    Yeah, the Liberty Candidates are just a bunch of Ron Paul creeps in their constitutional disguises again.

  • The Pima County Republican Party Makes Itself Look Just As Stupid As Sheriff Dupnik

    This is un-fucking-believable:

    The controversial case involving Jose Guerena led to some controversial comments by the Pima County GOP chair.  Those comments have Brian Miller under fire.

    Republican Brian Miller is in the hot seat for comments he made after Guerena was shot more than 70 times by SWAT members.

    “I think it was inappropriate to go out and make a policy statement on GOP letterhead,” said Tucson City Councilman Steve Kozachik.

    This is what Brian Miller (who I must point out is a Paultard) said:

    On May 5th, Jose Guerena, an American Marine, Iraq War veteran and fellow Tucsonan was killed in his home by armed government agents sworn to uphold the Constitution and whose declared mission is to protect and to serve the people of Pima County.

    While an investigation is still underway to determine the facts immediately surrounding the killing, it is my hope that this tragic event will lead to a renewed discussion of the policies that routinely lead to heavily armed and militarized local police invading private homes and a renewed interest in the civil liberties codified in our Bill of Rights
    .

    This is basically what we here at TAH have been saying since the beginning of this story and what many in the conservative blogosphere  have been saying for the last month or so since the shooting. You would think that Republicans in Pima County would get on board, especially considering that the department involved in the shooting is led by Sheriff Dupnik, who libeled conservatives in Pima County after the Giffords shooting. But instead, they have chose to start a petty little fight among themselves and are now calling for Miller’s resignation over the comments. Wow, way to totally blow an opportunity to go after Dupnik and unite the party behind an important issue you fucking idiots.

    The Pima County Republicans who instigated this fight need to grow the fuck up and stop covering for Dupnik, just like the hypocritical progressive blogs in the state.

  • Kokesh in remake of “Footloose”

    Yes, he’s finally found an issue that can get him back his former glory which he lost when he quit associating with IVAW. It’s right out of “Footlose” – Adam Kokesh is the new Ren McCormick and Suzie Benjamin will be at his side as the latest Ariel. I wonder if they’ll cast John Lithgow as the Park Police.

    Yes it’s an important issue – should ritarded anti-war charlatans be allowed to dance at the Jefferson Memorial? Oh, I found this link, thanks to Bev Perlson who sent it from the Daily Paul – the home of Kokesh lovers and associated with the OathKeepers. Toss in Code Pink and there’s a perfect circle. IVAW, Code Pink, Ron Paul and Oathkeepers.

  • Code Pink loves some Ron Paul

    In the event you need another reason to dislike either Ron Paul or Code Pink, Fox News reports that they’re almost in bed together these days;

    “The Ron Paul people are closer and closer to our talking points with each election,” Code Pink activist Liz Hourican told FoxNews.com.

    Hourican specifically was referring to Paul’s and Code Pink’s respective positions on U.S. aid to Israel — both have called for eliminating it. Code Pink, known for staging noisy disruptions at hearings and speeches where their topics of interest are being discussed, shares other common ground with Paul, like opposition to the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. But the Israel issue added a new layer.

    Paul spokeswoman Rachel Mills, asked about the Code Pink comment, suggested Code Pink might be gravitating toward the congressman’s view, rather than the other way around.

    Well, sure when your foreign policy stance is intellectually vacant and naive, you’re bound to find equally vacuous people on the other end of the spectrum. Can we expect Paul to start wearing pink feather boas? We already know that Medea has the proper garb to be a Paulian;

  • Ron Paul, our Gordon Duff in Congress

    Ben, who says he loves to troll Ron Paul discussion boards sends us a link to Ron Paul.com where Doctor Paul himself does his best imitation of Gordon Duff for the acolytes. He can’t admit that bin Laden was actually responsible for the 9-11 attacks. Apparently, bin Laden only “applauded” the attacks on the US. But, some how, even though bin Laden only applauded the attacks, his death is “justice served”, in Paul’s words.

    And then, like a quote from Gordon Duff, Paul warns;

    Hopefully bin Laden does not get the last laugh. He claimed the 9/11 attacks were designed to get the US to spread its military dangerously and excessively throughout the Middle East, bankrupting us through excessive military spending as he did the Soviets, and to cause political dissention within the United States. Some 70 percent of Americans now believe we should leave Afghanistan yet both parties seem determined to stay. The best thing we could do right now is prove bin Laden a false prophet by coming home and ending this madness on a high note.

    As naive as his basement-dwelling acolytes, Paul thinks that ending the war “on a high note” is sufficient enough for history and posterity. Certainly, the terrorists will be disheartened that we left Afghanistan “on a high note” and never be tempted to attack us again nor reestablish a terror base there.

    Maybe I should read a book sometime so I can figure out the brilliance that is Doctor Ron Paul. It’s funny that Paul says we should leave because 70% of Americans say we should leave Afghanistan, yet when 99.9% of Republicans said he should get out of the 2008 presidential campaign, he didn’t withdraw from the race.
