  • The Democrats have one very sick candidate

The Democrats have one very sick candidate

Numerous conservative websites are reporting on the fact that prior to Hillary’s possible seizure and collapse at the 9/11 ceremony, she was wearing a pair of cobalt blue sunglasses. They note that Z1 cobalt blue lenses manufactured by Zeiss, are known to have a preventive effect on seizures associated with epilepsy and are widely used for that purpose. Such lenses block most of the red spectrum of light, that part considered most likely to induce seizures in people who have photo-sensitivities associated with neurological disorders such as epilepsy and Parkinson’s which share some common symptoms.

    Hillary

What’s even more disturbing though is what is revealed in this picture from the 9/11 ceremony. Hillary is wearing the blue glasses sure enough but she has a woman holding her left arm, wrist upturned, who appears to be continuously monitoring her pulse. Also the large black man who has been Hillary’s constant public attendee (and rumored to be carrying an anti-seizure injector) hovers but a single step away. One other tell from this picture is Hillary’s right hand being held to her chest, an abnormal posture for a walking human but a common one for those with Parkinson’s who employ it to mask both tremors and unnatural finger positioning and movement of the fingers, as well as a phenomenon called pill-rolling most usually associated with that disease.

It’s understandable that the Democrats don’t want to admit they selected a very sick person to represent their party simply because she had dutifully waited her turn back in 2008 so the first black president could precede the first woman president. But that’s what they have done and she is what they are now saddled with. The sooner they fess up to the fact that their candidate is not up to the task, the more time they will have left to salvage something from the mess they’ve created with their political greed and dishonesty.

  • September 10th – National Complacency Day

Today is supposed to be Patriot Day, in memory of the 2,977 people killed in the 2001 September 11 attacks. 11 Democrats and 11 Republicans came together in Congress to designate September 11th Patriot Day.

Two years ago, offended by the term “patriot”, I suppose, this administration decided that it should be observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance by Presidential Proclamation.

I’d like to name September 10th National Complacency Day so that we can celebrate our naivete before the attacks on New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania. To remember a time when we didn’t have to face the realities of the world. When we took our national security for granted.

In the days when the national debate was about lifting the sanctions on Iraq while Saddam Hussein was paying a $25,000.00 bounty to the families of Palestinian suicide bombers in Israel, and the Israelis were planning to build a wall to keep bombers out of Israel. When Gary Condit was our greatest enemy. When Joe Biden was concerned about anti-missile defense destabilizing the world. When the Army’s main effort was focused on buying black berets from China. Not to mention that we’d just barely missed having Al Gore as our president, by a hair.

So here we are today, worried about football players and other entertainers who won’t stand for the National Anthem…and they’re cheered. Our current president finds it inconvenient to take time out of his vacation day to examine a plan for rescuing American hostages from Islamic terrorists in a timely manner. Both of the national parties have selected a Gore-like candidate to run against each other in a few months and there is no other choice.

Police have to think twice about shooting criminals and more of the officers are being killed as a result of their hesitation. Terrorists on our soil are excused for their conduct – legal gun owners and legal gun dealers are blamed instead. The government’s only plan to deal with “lone wolf” terrorists is to disarm honest Americans, while the government makes a dog and pony show of entrapping retards.

American service members are still fighting terrorists half way around our world, but they’re either forgotten at home or blamed for the terrorists who have swept across Europe. The current administration is focused on emptying Guantanamo and letting the old terrorists get back to their business – and paying them to do so.

I fully expect that there will be another large-scale terrorist attack between now and the next National Complacency Day celebration – mainly because, like we did in 2001, we’re missing the big picture and we’re bitching about the inconsequential minutiae, the shit that doesn’t mean anything while ignoring the really important stuff.

Facebook is replete with memes of the twin towers and the words “Never Again”, but we really don’t mean it. It’s just something you say like “Thank you for your service”. No one really wants to do anything to make us safer if it means we have to give up our free shit.

Isn’t that whole point of National Complacency Day?

  • Benghazi

Don’t much care if the aging leftist Canadian hippie who wrote the original is offended; he can pack up and go back to Canada for all I care.  Fair use and all that.

    Benghazi

Trapped in a seaside town building
    Surrounded by jihadi
Can’t you hear the mortars crumping
    Four dead in Benghazi

No way now to stop it
    Islamists gunning them down
Should have sent help long ago
They had no chance since State
Hung them all out to dry
    As SECSTATE surely did know

    . . .

    Help ready but mission canx
    Soldiers told to stand down
As if nothing was at stake
    Instead all still there were
    Abandoned on the ground
    “What diff-er-ence does it make?”

There would be no rescue coming
    To that African city
    We did absolutely nothing
    Four dead in Benghazi

    Four dead in Benghazi

    Four dead in Benghazi

    . . .

The attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi began at approximately 3:40PM EDT (9:40PM local time) on Tuesday, 11 September 2012.  It spread to include the nearby CIA Annex early (local time) the next morning.

Four Americans died in the attack:  US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, Embassy Information Officer Sean Smith, and CIA contract employees Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.  Smith, Doherty, and Woods were veterans.  Stevens and Smith were members of the US Foreign Service.

    Rest in peace, men.

The result of some “offensive film”?  Film my ass.  This was a well planned terrorist attack intentionally timed to occur on a date where we should have been on heightened alert:  the anniversary of 9/11.

Ask the SECSTATE at the time why it was instead apparently “business as usual, no worries” in Benghazi that day prior to the attack.

    . . .

Footnote: the CSN&Y original ended with Stephen Stills singing the interjectory phrases “Why?” (some sources say “Why did they die?”) and “How many more?” Those questions are apropos here too.

The identity of an Iranian scientist who was a US intelligence source was apparently exposed by material contained on Clintoon’s private email server – a server that was laughably badly secured, and which is widely believed to have been penetrated by multiple foreign intelligence services.  As Jonn noted earlier, that Iranian scientist was hanged by Iran in August 2016.

The answer to the “How many more?” question is thus now, “At least one – and likely more.”

The answer to the questions, “Why?” and “Why did they die?” should be reasonably obvious.

  • Hillary’s latest email excuse: Blame the headers!

Last night in the NBC Presidential Forum, Hillary unveiled her latest version of dindunuffin with the very lame claim that all classified information is transmitted with a header that clearly indicates that the contents of the following or underlying document are classified in one ordering or another, ranging from confidential to esoteric versions of top secret headings that ordinary folks like us will never see. Nice try, Hillary, but that weaselly excuse is easily shot full of holes, with the first buckshot barrage being fired recently by the FBI, who verified that she did indeed receive and send emails that contained classified information.

Had NBC moderator Matt Lauer been on his toes (or so politically inclined), he would have immediately countered her latest justification with the simple question, “Might someone on your staff have removed those headings when the classified emails were taken off the secure State Department network so that they could then be retransmitted in the clear on the open email network you had established?” Of course, that had to be case, and Lauer knows it, as does Clinton, as well as all the rest of us watching this slowly evolving train wreck.

Removing such headings and retransmitting those documents on an unsecure network is a federal crime. Receiving such transmissions that contain obvious classified information – such as that regarding potential Air Force satellite drone targeting intelligence or details regarding American human intelligence assets on foreign soil on that unsecure network while lacking those classification headings – is a serious federal offense as well, carrying prison time for ordinary citizens.

FBI director Comey lamely professed that his vaunted investigators could find no evidence of intent by Hillary and her minions to violate federal security regulations. My question for him is, “Director, just what do you call the removal of security classification headers from classified documents so that they can be retransmitted in the open on an unsecure network if it is not a clear demonstration of intent to subvert the communications restrictions imposed by federal security statutes?”

And the last question that should be asked of Hillary when she makes these silly “heading” excuses for her felonious behavior is this: “Madame Secretary, could you please explain how such forewarning headers could be utilized in your voice-to-voice phone conversations that were classified? Without the presence of headers, would it not be the content of the conversations themselves that determined the manner in which they should be handled regarding their security level?”

Hillary Clinton, last seen heading south…

  • Elisa Lazzarino; military service is indentured servitude

Elisa Lazzarino; military service is indentured servitude

    Elisa Lazzarino

    This has been passed around the social media recently. Elisa Lazzarino, who is apparently a political science grad student at North Carolina State University, thinks that the ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) is being used to keep students passive;

Andrew Sheppard calls for the end of NC State’s ROTC program, arguing that “every semester that we continue to support these programs is another semester contributing to ongoing crimes abroad.” It’s remarkable that more than 15 years after the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and with the recent U.S.-led interventions in Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Pakistan and Syria, Sheppard’s appeal for an end to the militarization of the university remains alone.

US interventions? Really, Elissa? Remember our intervention in Kuwait, the one that you didn’t mention? We invaded the country and promptly gave it back to Kuwaitis. They’re pretty happy that we intervened. If we were really the imperialists that you think we are, Kuwait would have been one of the countries that we’d keep, for the oil. We intervened in Somalia because the Left, academia and the media, begged President HW Bush to intervene there. John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi intervened in Syria while President GW Bush was trying not to intervene – go talk to them.

The ROTC as an institution, as Sheppard rightly argues, promotes U.S. imperialism and makes NC State complicit in the failed war on terror. The empty patriotism that ROTC programs use to attract inexperienced and often financially disadvantaged recruits, when unquestioned, is a distraction from the unspeakable horrors that occur on the other side of the world.

Have you ever taken an ROTC class, Elissa? If you did, it might help you to understand the concept instead of your jingoistic sniping from the sidelines about “US imperialism” and “empty patrotism” whatever that is.

In addition to the injustice of war itself, the ROTC is in a unique position at large public universities like NC State to exploit poor and minority students, and contract them into military service in what is arguably a modern form of indentured servitude. In 2013, the Army announced that it planned to close 13 ROTC programs in the rural Southeast while increasing funding to urban programs with the explicit aim of attracting minority students. These targeted minority students are likely to come from low-income backgrounds, given the large intersection between ethnic and racial minorities and economic disadvantage. Students enrolled in ROTC programs receive funding from the military for tuition, books and monthly stipends on the condition that they serve after graduation. For students who have difficulty paying for college, this may be an attractive offer.

War is not just, however there are people in the world who use war to stay in power. You know, people like ISIS, the Taliban, al Qaeda, the Syrian government, the Houthi in Yemen. Who is going to stop them from turning the whole world into shitholes like their own countries if there is no US military? The Euros? Ha!

There are no “poor” students to manipulate in college. They become poor when they have to pay back their loans. Only the folks with a hint of foresight look for a way to pay for it, by choice, before the bills come due. By choice. Unlike airhead political science grad students who won’t be able to make enough money with their useless degrees to pay back the loans. Monthly stipends are sounding good right about now, aren’t they? I’ll bet she’d be the first in line if the government offered to pay off loans without any kind of service in exchange.

The inexperience of youth, combined with difficult financial circumstances gives the military a clear advantage in this transaction, and traps students inside a toxic culture of blind nationalism and violence. For these reasons, if NC State students care about the moral integrity of our university and our intellectual freedom, we have a moral imperative to abolish the ROTC on our campus.

The inexperience of youth is what prompts airhead political science grad students to pretend to tell us what the world needs to do. Without an officer corps educated in our finest universities, how do you propose that we defend our national interests, Elissa? Would you prefer an officer corps educated at the service academies exclusively? There’s another bloc of opinion-makers who want to close them, too.

I’m sure it’s just the sight of your fellow students in uniform becoming the leaders of the next generation is what upsets you most. In fact, it’s probably conservatism that is really your target in this blathering. Military officers tend to be more conservative than their peers.

  • About That Recent “Return of Assets” to Iran . . .

Remember that $400 million      ransom payment      return of assets we recently sent to Iran?  You know, the one made in cash, using foreign currency obtained in Europe, by a cargo plane immediately before 4 US citizens      held hostage by Iran       detained by Iran were released?  The cash payment I wrote about previously here – and again here – and mentioned yet again here?

Well, it appears that the       gang of idiots screwing up US foreign policy “by the numbers”      current Administration has recently acknowledged that cash payments in foreign currency made to Iran didn’t stop after the first payment.  The total paid in cash to Iran amounted to far more than the original $400M.  Rather, the entire $1.7 billion in “returned assets” was apparently paid in foreign currency – e.g., in cash.

The first installment of $400M was sent to Iran on the day Iran agreed to release those       US hostages      detained US citizens:  17 January 2016.  The Administration has now confirmed that the second and third payments of those “returned assets”, totaling another $1.3 billion, were made a few days after their release – on 22 January 2016 and 5 February 2016, respectively.  They were also made in foreign currency.

Hmm.  So, we made cash payments to an adversary that was at the time detaining a number of US citizens, and in return those US citizens were promptly released.  To me that certainly sounds an awful lot like the textbook definition of something called a “ransom” – and a big honking ransom at that.  And it was paid in cash.

    But maybe that’s just me.

Oh, and if anyone’s wondering if this is a “big freaking deal”, it is – for two reasons.  First, we have now established the principle that we will indeed pay ransom for US citizens held hostage by adversaries, at least sometimes.  This is idiocy that even Jimmy “the Clueless” Carter did not commit.

And, second:  cash generally cannot be traced.  And $1.7 billion can fund a helluva lot of terrorist activity.

I really did not think I’d live long enough to see a US Administration more inept, foreign-policy wise, than Carter’s Clueless Crew.  I was wrong.  This gang of naive fools in DC today takes the cake.

    Chalice Renee Zeitner sentenced

    CHALICE-ZEITNER-mugshot

Breaking news tonight – Chalice Renee Zeitner has been sentenced to about 28 years total for all of her transgressions according to ABC News.

An Arizona woman was sentenced Thursday to a total of 28 years in prison for faking a cancer diagnosis to get the state to pay for her late-term abortion and for convictions in two other cases.

Chalice Renee Zeitner, of Phoenix, was convicted in April of fraud, theft and forgery charges in the case involving the late-term abortion.

A separate jury found her guilty of fraud and theft five weeks ago after authorities said she defrauded a charity for military veterans and the leader of a second charity in 2012. She also was convicted in May of aggravated drunken driving.

Remember you read about her here first.

  • Want to meet your typical Hillary Voter?

Want to meet your typical Hillary Voter?

I know that most readers here at TAH fall into the conservative side of the political spectrum, as do most military personnel and veterans, and as a consequence are somewhat baffled as to what kind of conscientious American could actually vote for a demonstrably corrupt politician like Hillary Clinton and her pedophiliac partner. Who are these people who willfully deny the old truism that where there’s smoke there’s fire? What kind of minds must they possess (or lack) to be so daffy as to defend this indefensible old crook?

Well, wonder no more, gentle readers, for Ol’ Poe has, through extensive research uncovered an entire cell of Hillary voters in, of all places, the rainbow environs of the Blue Left Coast:

    Yoga

It should come as no surprise that those who would blindly vote for any criminal Jackass the Democrat party tells them to could bow down to goats. After all, hasn’t their Monarch in waiting told us that many of the 30,000 missing State Department emails are about nothing more than yoga classes? Perhaps she just failed to recall that the subject matter was actually her grand plan to placate an angry national populace through the mind-calming practice of GoatYoga.

I’m thinking we should select Ex-PH2 to serve as our instructor for the mandatory classes that will follow should enough of the above types manage to carry that corrupt, coughing, cackling crone to victory in November. After all, Ex-PH2 tends to be more touchy feely than most here, with of course the clear exceptions of the exceptionally sensitive Dave Hardin and the gentle Veritas Omnia Vincit, both of whom Ol’ Poe thinks would make great Goat Yogers. A Vote?
