    Iranian nuclear scientist hung for espionage

    The Associated Press reports that Shahram Amiri, an Iranian nuclear scientist who may or may not have defected to the US in 2009, was hung by the neck in Iran last week, apparently as punishment for engaging in espionage against the islamic Republic. Amiri disappeared while on a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia and reappeared in the United States. Ostensibly, his disappearance was to prevent Iran from building nuclear weapons, but he said that he was Shanghaied by western governments. The following year, he returned to Iran;

    On Tuesday, Iran announced it had executed a number of criminals, describing them mainly as militants from the country’s Kurdish minority. Then an obituary notice for Amiri circulated in his hometown of Kermanshah, a city 500 kilometers (310 miles) southwest of Tehran, according to the Iranian pro-reform daily newspaper Shargh.

    Manoto, a private satellite television channel based in London believed to be run by those who back Iran’s ousted shah, reported Saturday that Amiri had been executed. BBC Farsi also quoted Amiri’s mother saying her son’s neck bore ligature marks suggesting he had been hanged by the state.

    Senator Tom Cotton lays Amiri’s conviction and execution at the feet of Hillary Clinton and her hacked email server, according to the Washington Examiner;

    “I’m not going to comment on what he may or may not have done for the United States government, but in the emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server, there were conversations among her senior advisors about this gentleman,” [Senator Tom Cotton] said on “Face the Nation.” Cotton was speaking about Shahram Amiri, who gave information to the U.S. about Iran’s nuclear program.

    The senator said this lapse proves she is not capable of keeping the country safe.

    “That goes to show just how reckless and careless her decision was to put that kind of highly classified information on a private server. And I think her judgment is not suited to keep this country safe,” he said.

    While I don’t doubt that Hillary Clinton is an incompetent boob, someone needs to show me the emails about Amiri before I believe it. It’s just too coincidental.

    Fairfax mayor trades drugs for sex

    Silverthorne

    Richard “Scott” Silverthorne, has been the the mayor of the City of Fairfax, Virginia since 2012 and a substitute teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools. He was arrested yesterday for paying an undercover law enforcement officer for sex with methamphetamine at a motel in Tyson’s Corners.

    During their investigation, police identified a suspect who was distributing meth through a website used to arrange casual sexual encounters between men.

    An undercover detective created a profile on the website, and within a few days, Silverthorne made contact, according to police.

    The mayor allegedly told the detective he could provide meth in exchange for sexual encounters, according to police. The detective agreed to meet with Silverthorne, and Silverthorne agreed to bring other men to the engagement, police say.

    Asswipe POS. Why we fight.

  • DNC resurrects Ku Klux Khan

    While most liberal pundits will tap dance all around the fact that the cross-burning, bloodily racist, black/Jew hating and hanging Ku Klux Klan was made up almost exclusively of Democrats, it’s a demonstrable truth that can’t be denied. Like most of the history of slavery and overt racism in America’s history, there seems to be a hovering, ominous presence of the Democrat party everywhere one looks. The Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist wing of the Democrats. Striking swiftly under the cover of darkness and disguise, the Klan instilled deathly fear into those the Democrats saw as either unworthy, like blacks, or as scheming, moneyed, too well informed political enemies of Jim Crow and segregation, the Jews.

    Amazingly, it was the Democrat National Committee, embracing all those former enemies, the blacks and Jews, and being warmly embraced in return, who resurrected a 21st century version of the Klan when they staged an event at their convention that had no other purpose than to politically lynch Donald Trump on the testimony of one aggrieved Gold Star father, a lawyer as it turns out who is closely linked politically to both the Muslim Brotherhood, Saudi Arabian officialdom and most importantly, Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s closest personal advisor, a woman with strong links herself to the Muslim Brotherhood.
    The practiced and purposeful testimony of the aggrieved Muslim father, one Kizr Kahn, was designed to ignite a burning cross on the political lawn of Donald Trump which would serve as a flaming beacon to attract frothing media nightriders, the Ku Klux Khan. With red meat denunciations fed to them by the Democrat party, they proceeded with the very public political lynching of Donald Trump. To his everlasting regret, Mr. Trump grabbed the noose and placed it around his neck with some careless, intemperate remarks about the Khan’s culture which further incensed the media mob and set them truly howling for blood. Fortunately there was sufficient backlash from the conservative media and the veteran community to retrieve Mr. Trump’s head from where he had so accommodatingly placed it.

    Fortunately the DNC’s masterplan is not working with the target voting bloc, the veteran community and military personnel. While most of us are not pleased with Trump’s insensitivity, we are not so dense as to not see counselor Khan as the political plant he was and the cynical attempt by the Democrats to play on our emotions. Most comments that I’m reading from other vets like myself are expressing anger at the Dems rather than Mr. Trump. The best way to sum it up from a soldiers standpoint is that Trump is the big-mouthed, blowhard New Yorker who somehow always seems to be able to back up his bullsh*t. You don’t necessarily like the guy but you learn to respect his ability to soldier on and get the job done. So, Democrats, you may have unleashed the Ku Klux Khan, but they’re not going to lynch any of our people, not in our America.

    We’re thinking there are other necks far more deserving of that rope…

  • Trump’s Purple Heart

    Trump’s Purple Heart

    Trump Purple Heart

    Apparently, the media is working overtime to avoid talking about the candidates and the issues, rather they’re all wrapped up in trying to paint the Democrats as the more patriotic candidates. That’s a fruitless endeavor. Anyway, ABC News wants to talk about Donald Trump’s military service. To segue into the subject, someone gave Trump their Purple Heart and, typically, Trump can’t just say “thanks”;

    Speaking at a rally in Ashburn, Virginia, the GOP presidential nominee said that a man approached him and handed him his purple heart.

    “He said that’s my real purple heart — I have such confidence in you. And, I said, ‘Man that’s like, that’s like big stuff.’ I always wanted to get the purple heart. This was much easier,” Trump said.

    I don’t have a Purple Heart – the closest I got was bashing my face on the Bradley’s Integrated Sight Unit when my fighting vehicle hit an anti-personnel mine at 73 Easting in Iraq in 1991 – I got a bloody nose. That was my only combat wound.

    If someone were to offer me their Purple Heart like someone did to Donald Trump, I’d have to turn the offer down. I have oodles of medals that have citations which describe in detail what I did to earn them – but the Purple Heart is unique that it only recounts that the recipient was wounded (or killed) and the date it happened. Only the recipient knows the details, like the POW Medal, that makes those two awards intensely personal and beyond the understanding of anyone else who sees it or touches it.

    Obviously, that’s what Trump should have done instead of using it in a speech so ABC News couldn’t use it as an excuse to bring up questions about his draft deferment – which we already talked about in May.

    Funny how ABC news can’t think up an excuse to talk about Hillary’s attempt to join the Marine Corps.

  • Khizr Khan and Patricia Smith; Gold Star wars

    Two weeks ago, Patricia Smith spoke at the Republican National Convention and laid the death of her son, Sean, in the Benghazi consulate, at the feet of Hillary Clinton.

    The Democrats retaliated the following week at their convention by inviting Khizr Khan to speak to Donald Trump’s plan to blockade immigrants from the Middle East. Khan’s son, Humayun Khan, had bravely given his life in Iraq in 2004 when he caused a bomb-laden taxi to detonate before it was in a position to kill troops who were eating in the nearby dining facility.

    I posted this on Facebook yesterday to illustrate how the media viewed both events;

    CNN’s Josh Rogin on Gold Star mother Patricia Smith at the RNC: I feel for Pat Smith, but the RNC and Trump are using her and her son’s death for politics and that’s wrong.

    CNN’s Josh Rogin on Gold Star father Khizr Khan at the DNC: But here’s the thing. Muslim-Americans, not very well represented either in Congress, in public life. They don’t organize politically for some pretty obvious reasons. Right? This is a rare opportunity to take a look at this community, and we all know that is patriotic, that does serve our country, that does die for our country.

    When Republicans do it, it’s political stunt, but, when the Democrats do it, it’s a “rare opportunity”.

    Our buddy, Denise Williams, herself a Gold Star mother, sends this video message to Mr. Khan (you’ll need to turn the volume way up or use earphones);

  • WaPO Fact Checker Says: Clintoon Lied

    Clintoon recently made a public statement with which the WaPO Fact Checker took issue.  Here’s the statement:

    “Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the emails.”

    Well, the WaPO checked it out – and bluntly disagrees.  It rates the statement as meriting “Four Pinocchios”.  Their rating scale can be found here, but I’ll cut to the chase:  their definition of a statement rated “Four Pinocchios” is short, sweet, and to the point.  It defines such statements as, “Whoppers.”

    In effect, the WaPO here has called Clintoon a bald-faced liar.  Their article on the matter analyzes the topic in substantial detail; it can be found here if you’re interested.

    Yeah, most readers already knew that the Clintoons have significant “veracity issues” pretty much every time they open their mouths.  But I think it’s great to see this in print in the WaPO.

  • “Mike” the Nigerian scammer arrested

    AFP reports the arrest of “Mike”, a 40-year-old Nigerian man believed to be the mastermind of a scamming enterprise that netted him $60 million;

    “In one case, a target was conned into paying out $15.4 million,” Interpol said, indicating that the arrest was carried out with the support of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

    “The network compromised email accounts of small to medium businesses around the world including in Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, Romania, South Africa, Thailand and the United States,” it said.

    The suspect ran a network of at least 40 people working from Nigeria, Malaysia and South Africa which used malware and carried out the fraud, and he also had money laundering contacts in China, Europe and the US who provided bank account details for the illicit cash flow.

    From INTERPOL;

    The main two types of scam run by the 40-year-old targeted businesses were payment diversion fraud – where a supplier’s email would be compromised and fake messages would then be sent to the buyer with instructions for payment to a bank account under the criminal’s control – and ‘CEO fraud’.

    In CEO fraud, the email account of a high-level executive is compromised and a request for a wire transfer is sent to another employee who has been identified as responsible for handling these requests. The money is then paid into a designated bank account held by the criminal.

    So, I guess won’t be getting that payout from the European Union Lottery, but, luckily, the Pope has promised me part of his Treasury if I help smuggle out some cash, so I have that going for me.

  • #NeverHillary

    I just finished watching “13 Hours” for the hundredth time, so this post reflects the feelings I have after every time I watch it.

    I really don’t know what I’m going to do on Election Day, but I do know that I’ll never vote for Hillary Clinton. I’m not a single-issue voter, but, honestly, if I care about National Security and the way the troops and veterans get treated by the government that we all faithfully served, a vote for Hillary Clinton would reflect that I don’t care about national security, or the troops, or veterans.

    Her husband balanced the year-over-year budget on the backs of veterans and national security. He drew down the force to dangerous levels without backing off from their deployments. There was money for “meals on wheels” missions, but nothing for training to fight our nation’s enemies. He tossed elderly vets off of Tricare and threw them on to Medicare to save a buck. Obama has done a good job of that already, she doesn’t have much room to move in that endeavor, but she still can screw vets.

    Hillary has no respect for veterans – remember her story about trying to join the Marine Corps? She comes off as being a patriot trying to serve her country and some nebulous Marine Corps recruiter comes off as a sexist jerk. You and I both know that the story was a self-serving lie. She wouldn’t have put on a uniform with a gun to her head during the mid-70s.

    Then there was the story about the sniper fire at an airport in Bosnia. You know, like it was nothing to her, another day at her dangerous job for the American people. If she had ever dodged sniper fire, there would have been a long list of aids and confidants who would have been fired for the incident. And some poor Joe would have had to carry the sow to cover, she could never move those fat ankles fast enough to dodge sniper fire. And what self-respecting sniper could miss a target that prominent, anyway?

    And then there was Benghazi – she hung good Americans out to die and suffer, while she told Americans that our Constitution was at fault for allowing a video to be made that angered Muslims. All the while, the CIA was running guns out of her embassy. She created the circumstances, but didn’t have the gumption to own up to it or protect or rescue the people who were working at her direction. It was easier to lie than to do the right thing — like it always is in life.

    Things are horrible for veterans, but they won’t get better with Clinton as President. Will Trump do better? I don’t know, but I know he can’t do worse. At this point, all I can concern myself with is having a measure of influence in Congress that will negate any damage that the Executive can accomplish. The Congressional GOP didn’t want to do anything that would get them called “racist” so Obama had a free hand with them – I expect the same thing when they face Hillary. The little marshmallows. There won’t be anything politically correct involved if they oppose Trump in any way.

    Like I said, I’m not sure what I’m going to do on Election Day, but, no one who cares about the troops or cares about veterans can, in good conscience, pull the lever for Hillary Clinton.
