Category: Iraq Veterans Against the War

  • Wearing their bloody shirt

    Everyone is sending links to articles about Scott Olsen, a two-tour veteran of iraq and a member of veterans For peace and Iraq veterans Against the War. olsen was injured when Oakland police attempted to clear the groups of smelly hippies and other protesters from their occupation. olsen, according to news reports, has a fractured skull from a projectile launched by police (by projectile, I’m guessing everyone means a rubber bullet, but they don’t want to say it out loud).

    It’s terrible that Olsen has been injured in such a brutal fashion, what’s really terrible is the way the hippies and the prtend veterans of Veterans For Peace are using his broken carcass for their own purposes.

    I don’t know if Olsen is really a Marine or if he had two tours of Iraq behind him…those of you with MOL accounts can find that out, since he left the Corp last year, supposedly. I’d like to believe that there are veterans out there who are who they say they are…it’s rare, but I want to believe it.

    I also don’t know what happened to Olsen or who did it, but even if what teh hippies are saying is entirely true, he shouldn’t have been resisting the police, which is what all of the crowd were doing. the hippies are saying he was injured for “speaking out” but he wasn’t speaking out, he was breaking the law. Veterans don’t get a pass when they break the law, even if it’s just a law we don’t agree with.

    Now, the hippies get to hide behind Olsen’s broken body and make a martyr of him…someone they would have spit on a few weeks ago and called a baby-killer. Scott, if you lay down with dogs, you get up with fleas. laying down with VFP and IVAW gets you shot with rubber bullets. And then they get to use your unconcious body as a bloody shirt.

    And IVAW gets to use your blood-stained image to raise money;

  • The phonies at the VFP and IVAW

    One of my ninjas sent me these photos that they found on the internet. The first is tracey harmon, former girlfriend of Adam Kokesh. Now, harmon never deployed, she was in the California guard or Reserves. Her IVAW profile was full of love and understanding. the same kind of love and understanding that she took with her when she visited Iraq last year with Antiwar.com.

    I guess peace, love and understanding aren’t so glamorous.

    Speaking of dipshits, if you saw this guy, you’d think he was a Vietnam veteran, wouldn’t you?

    Well, that’s Doug Zachary, he’s not a Vietnam Veteran, he was chaptered out of the Marine Corps before he could be deployed. he’s doing what those clowns at IVAW are doing these days, wearing the T-shirt and not buying a Harley.

    So I wonder how many of hese cumbubbles fit in the same category?

    I see Ward Reilly, the phony Vietnam Ranger on the far right. the only real Vietnam veteran I see is portly Bill Perry, wearing his shower shoes . Perry was with the 82d in Vietnam, but then came back and joined John Kerry at VVAW and then lied about an ambush from which he hid out while his platoon was shot up. Perry finally admitted to me that he lied at Winter Soldier a few years back. He said his story was total “bullshit” to use his word, and that he only told it to get laid by the hippie chicks. But it’s Perry’s Vietnam service that gives creds to Reilly and Zachary. just like the actual Iraq War veterans get their service stolen by pople like Tracy Harmon.

  • Meet Joshua Helton: Leader of Marines, supporter of the occupy movement

    ALL NEW:  Ok my digital ninjas, let us regroup to what we know.  First off, we know that this was said:

    OK?  Well that story sets off lots of bells and whistles.

    Next up, we know from the Marine AKO this:

    We also know that…Another Marine checks in to say that there is an MP at Camp Futenma in Okinawa…the LCPL.

    So, apparently he *might* be an MP, but have you ever heard of one leading 48 Marines?  Nah, I didn’t think so.  And an MP that has posts up lauding the positive side effects of pot?  Another good career move!

    Now, if you go here to the original source you can track to his Facebook pages, which has the hefty chap I had picture up about.  Go look around at his page.  Is it him?  Is it some other dude?  It’s all confusing.

    Add in that the email address associated with that one links to a MySpace account that appears to be a much skinnier dude, and which does have a picture of a guy in Marine Cammies.

    Now, what does that add up to?  I have no clue.

    As I noted earlier:

    I sent Joshua a PM in Facebook and told him to tell me what his rank and MOS were, and that Marine records did not corroborate his story. I told him that if the records are wrong, he should let me know, otherwise I would do my part to make him as famous as I could. He chose to remain silent.

    So, after regrouping, and getting the known knowns, the known unknowns, and looking at the unknown unknowns, what does all of this mean?

    I leave it to you guys, as I have to do some work tonight, but I am perplexed.

  • IVAW on Wall Street

    I’m pretty sure that they’re not there to check on their mutual fund investments.

    I wonder what their presence there has to do with ending the war – I guess they’re just there to wear the shirts. The ninja who sent this picture to me wonders how many of them have set foot outside of the United States. I noticed that there’s no combat patch on the BDU shirt…and no CAB. I’m not familiar enough with Marine awards to comment on his status, but here’s a larger photo so you can tell me;

    Added: Of course the best way to pick up chicks is to wear your K-pot (do they still call it that?);

  • Marines to “protect” Wall Street protesters

    You’ve probably heard that there were hundreds of protesters arrested on Wall Street> well, Ward reilly, the phony Vietnam Veteran and phony Ranger, in a link sent by Toothless Dawg, posted on his Facebook page that a group of former marines are headed to Wall Street to supposedly “protect” the protesters” from police;

    “I’m heading up there tonight in my dress blues. So far, 15 of my fellow marine buddies are meeting me there, also in Uniform. I want to send the following message to Wall St and Congress:I didn’t fight for Wall St. I fought for America. Now it’s Congress’ turn.

    My true hope, though, is that we Veterans can act as first line of defense between the police and the protester. If they want to get to some protesters so they can mace them, they will have to get through the Fucking Marine Corps first. Let’s see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets.I apologize now for typos and errors.

    Typing this on iPhone whilst heading to NYC. We can organize once we’re there. That’s what we do best.If you see someone in uniform, gather together.

    A formation will be held tonight at 10PM.

    We all took an oath to uphold, protect and defend the constitution of this country. That’s what we will be doing.

    Yeah, guys, who wants to protect the rest of us who depend on the activity on Wall Street? You know, those of us who have 401ks and mutual funds. Um, grow up, fellas. if you’re somehow attached to Ward Reilly, the phony, you’re on shaky ground in the first place. What are you going to “protectt” the protesters from, anyway? From being arrested for breaking the law? Nice way to “defend the Constitution”. When you Marines get to New york and the protest, look around at the ash and trash hippies you’re “protecting”. Most are professional protesters and rumors persist that many of them are Canadians – so you’re going to defend the Constitution by protecting Canadians from arrest?

    Someone asked me if Adam Kokesh is going to be there in New York. Apparently not. he was in DC protesting against Obama along with GWU students, according to this video sent by one of my ninjas;

  • Kokesh and the end of the Footloose episode

    You might remember that i wrote about Adam Kokesh and his crusade to allow dancing at the Jefferson Memorial last Spring. Well the justice system has failed most of America once again – I guess the prosecutor dropped charges against him, Code Pink’s Media Benjamin and Tighe Berry. So here they are celebrating their blow against justice, because the charges weren’t about dancing, the charges had to do with obeying a law enforcement officer.

    That’s why Kokesh and Benjamin continue to flaunt the law…there are no consequences. The justice system is damning us to the continued presence of these ass clowns by allowing them to continue their immature and criminal behavior.

    Thanks to one of my ninjas for the video.

  • That “Poverty Draft” thing

    Matthis and Adam Kokesh, along with Iraq Veterans Against the War Executive Director Jose Vasquez, encouraged by Charlie Rangel and his push for a draft, are all fond of calling the all-volunteer military fighting our wars in the Middle East a “poverty draft” military, meaning that we recruit from the nation’s ghettos for the cannon fodder we send to war. Ann Marlowe, in the Wall Street Journal writes about a Heritage Foundation study which lays that canard to rest;

    Indeed, the Heritage report showed that “low-income families are underrepresented in the military and high-income families are overrepresented. Individuals from the bottom household income quintile make up 20.0 percent of Americans who are age 18-24 years old but only 10.6 percent of the 2006 recruits and 10.7 percent of the 2007 recruits. Individuals in the top two quintiles make up 40.0 percent of the population, but 49.3 percent of the recruits in both years.”

    What about the charge that our Army is disproportionately black? This too is false, as is clear from data for fiscal 2010 available on the Army’s website: Whereas blacks comprise 17% of Americans ages 18-39 with high school degrees, they represent only a slightly larger proportion of enlisted soldiers, at 21%.

    But we all knew that, didn’t we?

    Marlowe concludes;

    The myth of the ghetto Army is as nastily racist as it is false.

    You should read the whole opinion piece.

  • Adam Kokesh declares that the terrorists have won

    One of my ninjas just emailed an article from the Guardian, which coincidentally mentions today’s subject Adam Kokesh and his antics on September 11th last week;

    Activist Adam Kokesh is in full flight. He claims the attacks of 11 September had a goal, “and the goal was to make America look like it does today”. Angry whoops from the floor. This is a gathering of people who are extremely unhappy about what America looks like today.

    In other words, somehow we succumbed to the terrorist’s desire to change America. I don’t know what he means, because aside from some increased security measures, nothing has really changed, except for the fact that we don’t have much tolerance for anti-war groups like we had thirty years ago, which only makes sense since we’ve witnessed how the lazy, socialist hippies of the sixties have changed America.

    I suppose he means exactly that…since we all didn’t fall down on our knees and thank our God for the Kokesh candidacy for Congress in New Mexico and pulled together from across the country to stand athwart his path to Washington and his “xanax and gin” campaign.

    He hates TAH and the fact that someone stood outside of one of his whistlestops and passed out hard copies of TAH posts about him, but he’ll never mention how TSO offered to help him unscrew his VA claim for PTSD (an offer TSO has made to several IVAW members, former or otherwise). Is that what he meant by his comment about post-9/11 America? That veterans reach across the political divide to help each other?

    Remembering the attacks of 9-11-2001 is supposed to make us appreciate that we live in this country, that boneheads like Kokesh can stand on a street corner and criticize the country as much as they want without fear of governmental retribution. But just because the government can’t take action against him, doesn’t mean that the rest of us can’t as private citizens.
