  • Kokesh arrested again

    Kokesh arrested again

    We first wrote about Adam Kokesh nearly eleven years ago when he staged some sort of protest on the Washington Mall against the Iraq War. The last we heard from him, he was trying to stay out of jail after his arrest for drugs in Virginia when marshals served him an arrest warrant for when he possessed a loaded weapon in downtown DC.

    Well, he filed to be the Libertarian candidate for the 2020 presidential election, last week and within 30 minutes of the filing, he was stopped twice in Texas and arrested for drug possession again according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram;

    “At this point and time the dog did alert so we’re going to a whole ’nother level,” the trooper said while Kokesh was recording.

    Before he turned off the camera, Kokesh said: “If you don’t hear from me, please come find me.”

    In a statement released by his girlfriend, Kokesh called his arrest a “gross miscarriage of justice.”

    Kokesh was booked into the Wise County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance-penalty group one and two, tampering with evidence and possession of marijuana. Bail has been set at $76,500, according to Wise County Sheriff Lane Akin.

    “During the search, troopers located evidence and arrested Mr. Kokesh,” said DPS spokesman Lonny Haschel.

    Akin said his office started getting besieged with calls from Libertarian organizations on Tuesday.

    Ben Farmer, Kokesh’s chief strategist for the presidential campaign, is in Decatur and said that they are asking the district attorney to reduce Kokesh’s bail to zero.

    And a fine president he’d make, too;

  • Geoff Millard; Valor thief with antifa in Berkeley

    Geoff Millard; Valor thief with antifa in Berkeley

    We busted valor thief Geoffrey Millard back in 2008 while he was on the board of the Iraq Veterans Against the War. While he was in the National Guard, he was a combat engineer, but being a malingerer, he tried to get out of a deployment to Iraq because of a knee injury he sustained in high school. When that didn’t work, he got a job on a general’s staff keeping PowerPoint slides in the proper order. When the unit returned from Iraq, he went AWOL for nine months and the Guard got tired of his ass and booted him.

    Well, TSO found a link to The Guardian about him playing with the “antifascists” in Berkeley, California;

    “They picked Berkeley because they want to feel they could do this in the most liberal place in the country,” said Geoff Millard, an anti-Trump protester, Iraq war veteran and Mr San Francisco Leather 2017. “It’s important that we shut them down and let them know they can’t pull this crap here.”

    Millard said the “antifascist” protest was meant “to make Nazis afraid” and said “the ideology that they propose puts public citizens at risk”.

    Here’s his picture from the Mr San Francisco Leather Alliance website;

    He’s barely an Iraq War veteran and he squandered any points he might have earned for going to Iraq by going AWOL and hanging out with the gals at Code Pink when he got back. Not to mention the fact that he pinned on a bunch of medals he didn’t earn – including the Combat Infantryman Badge.

  • Mike Prysner; that communist revolutionary hero

    Mike Prysner; that communist revolutionary hero

    Mike Prysner commie lovin punk

    We first wrote about Mike Prysner more than six years ago when we caught him lying about his military service. Mike founded March Forward, the Maoist ANSWER’s veterans group. He used to tell tales about his operations in Iraq, kicking doors and dragging Iraqi women around by the hair. It turns out that he was a radar screen watcher who never set foot outside the wire. Privately, he’s admitted as much to his friends.

    Well, this Kevin Baker fellow, a twice-deployed soldier to Iraq, used to hang around with Prysner, until his head got screwed on straight. When Kevin realized that ANSWER and March Forward were just organizations for the members not for the people they claimed to support, Kevin spoke out. ANSWER, retaliated by convincing Prysner to file a restraining order against Baker to shut him up. Well Kevin came to us to tell his story;

    There’s a well known issue of violating human ethics and stolen valor on the far political left. There’s a saying I heard a while back that goes “ If you see fraud and do not say fraud, you are a fraud.” I applied this lesson directly towards ANSWER coalitions Mike Prysner.

    Most of you are well aware of Mike Prysner. He’s the Marxist self-described revolutionary who takes full advantage of his time as a non-combat arms enlisted veteran of the war in Iraq to promote himself at any cost. There’s also something even more uniquely self-serving in regards to Prysner. His ability to lie, deceive and prey on people in vulnerable situations. He is, for all intents and purposes, a predator.

    One of the most alarming examples of his predatory scams he runs under the guise of March Forward! is begging for donations to “help” veterans in struggle. This was of course a turning point in my personal relationship with Prysner. He had appealed to donors to give money to a personal friend and fellow infantryman who had gone AWOL. Prysner had written an appeal asking for money to help pay for this soldier’s financial hardships while AWOL. I had found out a year or so later from the soldier himself that none of the donation money ever graced his hand.

    ANSWER is infamous for setting up donations saying they support some cause but pocketing the money for their own gain. After all, being a full time activist and sitting around lying and smoking pot all day takes its toll on everyone.

    However, once I had found out friends and fellow soldiers had been scammed by Prysner, I had finally had enough. I openly stated that Prysner, ANSWER/PSL/MarchForward were in fact all scam organizations led by Brian Becker – Google him, anything Prysner does under the guise of MarchForward! has to be approved by Becker, nullifying the claim that it is a “veterans-led organization” this goes to include Prysner’s “Amazing speech by war veteran” shared by so many. It was in fact written by Brian Becker, Prysner had confided in me that he never actually saw combat.

    After making this public, ANSWER was thrown into a state of panic. I had received endless texts, calls and emails from ANSWER leadership members asking why I was exposing their callous lies. Once they realized the intimidation attempts by archaic cold war washed-up hippies wouldn’t work on me, they did something hilariously unexpected, they ran to the very system they “dedicate” their lives to destroying in trying to stop the truth of their predatory ways from leaking out.

    Mike Prysner, the “great communist revolutionary” who hates the police, the capitalist state and does not acknowledge the legitimacy of the United States government, actually pushed a restraining order on me when I confronted him in a text message about the finances being seized for ANSWER staff. How ironic that a man who hates everything America stands for, uses the same “racist” judicial system in an attempt to silence the truth. “If you see fraud and do not say fraud, you are a fraud” echoed in my head the entire time.

    Prysner filed a restraining order stating I had committed “murder” in Iraq. That I had executed unarmed Iraqis (see attached memo, This never happened), that I had stalked him, (apparently egomania is a thing amongst failing Marxists) that I was a threat to his safety, and that he was “afraid for his life” which he stated in court right before the judge literally threw him out of court.

    Prysner continued to go on in the restraining order stating outlandish lies and engaging in character assassination. Joining Prysner in his endeavor was Ryan Endicott who compared himself to Che Guevera and Mike always compared himself to Fidel Castro. You could even pay $5.00 to get a picture with Prysner and a cardboard cut out of Fidel at ANSWER/PSL fundraisers where Prysner would simply become so intoxicated it ended with him always driving drunk home. What a thoughtful human.

    So I hired a lawyer, returned to court and the most hilarious part about the entire ordeal was that Prysner showed up with about 10 other ANSWER goons all with prepared statements against me. It is impossible to stress the hilarity in a “Revolutionary Communist” organization that holds demonstrations promoting the killing of police and violently overthrowing America “cowering” in fear and using the state they hate as a shield. A shield against a threat they made up in an attempt to silence the truth.

    Prysner showed up about 30 minutes late looking like he had crawled out of a drunken stupor, stumbled when the judge had us “all rise.” The judge even stated to his “lawyer” ( Another ANSWER lackey) “Is your client going to stand up?” My lawyer had to nudge me to stop me from laughing at how pathetic he looked.

    Long story short the case was thrown out in minutes. Prysner left along with the rest of the “revolutionary vanguard” in defeat. Prysner loves talking about his personal life and activism on social media yet he never mentioned running to the court, using PTSD against a soldier who was medically discharged for it, (even though he will beg for donations to “help” soldiers with it) and posting flat out lies about his military service on social media. Last time he posted that he was an interrogator on his Twitter begging for more attention.

    This may come as a shock to so many people who believe Prysner to be a sincere and honest person “speaking truth” about war…but the truth is he is a liar. He never saw combat and the speech so many people contribute to him wasn’t written by him. It was written by Brian Becker the head of both ANSWER and Party for Socialism and Liberation. There is also an hilarious recording where Brian Becker says “We should behave like Stalin did prior to the Bolshevik revolution and rob trains” at internal PSL/ANSWER meetings.

    From their outspoken support to terrorist organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah and North Korea to their fraudulent donations and campaigns they set up, I have no idea how ANSWER has not yet been investigated by the United States Federal Government.

    I appealed through the courts in an attempt to sue Prysner for the false claims he had made in the court documents. I filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court in which Prysner dodged every attempt to be served. The producers of a TV show called “ Hot Bench” even asked if I would be willing to take this case to national TV (which I gladly accepted). However, Prysner, like the coward he is, declined to accept.

    There’s something ironic in the fact that Mike Prysner who likes to invade everyone’s life, throw peoples cell phones, make false claims to the court, scream about revolution, post officers, NCOs and generals private phone numbers online and in massive spam ANSWER emails in attempts to have thousands of ANSWER email subscribers harass those serving in the military. However he can’t even show up to court and resolve an issue he started. Welcome to the world’s most cowardly activists; Mike Prysner.

    Baker recently endured the scorn of our old friends at the IVAW when he began speaking out against ISIS and their murderous rampage across the Lavant. Apparently, because he’s a straight, white male, he’s not allowed to have a valid opinion about murder, torture and rape.

    Here’s some of the ridiculous charges that Prysner brought against Baker in the restraining order;

    Prysner restraining order

    Here’s a paragraph from the restraining order that Prysner filed against Baker charging that he committed murder in Iraq;

    And, finally, Kevin’s response;

    The invitation from the TV show;

    Prysner invite

    Here’s Prysner’s New Year resolution in 2011 to be a better communist;

    prysner-ivaw

    Prysner tried to stage a coup in the IVAW a few years back because they weren’t radical enough for his tastes – and his recruiting efforts at ANSWER were dreary. He has inserted himself into the Ferguson debate, including publishing a petition signed by several dozens of veterans, demanding that the National Guard stay out of Ferguson (March Forward link), so the derelicts and thugs could take over the town. Most of the folks whose signatures appear on the petition had no idea what they were putting their name to.

    Prysner likes to claim that he’s ashamed of his service in the Army and in Iraq, but it’s hard to find a photo of him without a part of his uniform. He’s the perfect mannequin for ANSWER – willing to say or do anything to get his dope money all while wearing the uniform remnants that must be thread-bare by now.

  • Code Pink Finally Gets the War They Needed

    Code Pink Finally Gets the War They Needed

    Quite a conundrum, huh? Code Pink has to protest the Obama Administration’s march to war in Iraq, you know, after years of trying not to alienate liberals.

    Dear Jonn,

    Yesterday CODEPINK held a rally at the White House calling on President Obama to not intervene militarily in Iraq. We were joined by members from Veterans for Peace, the ANSWER Coalition, Iraq Veterans Against the War, and more. Check out pictures from the event here.

    Join us on Saturday, June 21, 1:00 p.m. in front of the White House for an even bigger rally to call for no U.S. military intervention in Iraq!

    President Obama stated on Friday that he will not send US troops to Iraq, however now he is sending 275 U.S. forces to Iraq for embassy security. He is also “exploring other options.” Those options clearly include air strikes, increased weapons shipments, and there are ominous reports that the US is moving an aircraft carrier into the Persian Gulf.

    Tell President Obama: No U.S. military intervention in Iraq!

    We have watched over the last 12 years how the citizens of Iraq have been terrorized, murdered and turned into refugees. Once again, we are seeing hundreds of thousands of innocent people fleeing for their lives. The people of Iraq need peace, reconciliation, development and a truly representative government free of US and other foreign interests.

    So, being careful not to be labeled racists, they have a caricature of John McCain instead of the President – you know, even though McCain has nothing to do with sending troops to Iraq;

    Code Pink3

    The Iraq Veterans Against the War, you know, those guys who have never been to Iraq, but they like to wear those cool T-shirts that say they have been to Iraq, came out of the shadows, too.

    Code Pink IVAW

    The usual huge crowd that Code Pink draws is present. I guess that since Bush left the White House some of them had to go out and find jobs.

    Code Pink

    Irony. You can’t see it.

    Code Pink2

    Nice to see all of the usual suspects back together again, huh?

  • Kokesh’s Virginia conviction

    Chief Tango sends us a link to the Washington Post which reports that, in Fairfax County, Virginia yesterday, Adam Kokesh, IVAW member, was convicted of drug and gun charges;

    Kokesh, 32, entered an Alford plea in Circuit Court to two felonies related to his possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms while possessing a gun. In an Alford plea, a defendant does not admit guilt but acknowledges that prosecutors have enough evidence to obtain a conviction.

    […]

    Prosecutors said Thursday that police found 10 guns and drugs, including LSD, marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy and mushrooms.

    So he goes back to court in September for sentencing – he faces 15 years on those charges. He still on probation from his guilty plea in DC for loading a shotgun on the streets of that city for a video. I’ve watched Kokesh get arrested for his various antics no less than five times since he first came on our radar back in 2007. If my memory still serves me, these two arrests are the first time he was actually sentenced to anything. I guess he thought he was bullet proof and he kept upping the ante.

    In response to a judge’s questions Thursday, Kokesh said he had “deliberately made an act of civil disobedience” by creating the video. But he said he had not anticipated that it would lead to the raid on his Snowflake Court home.

    Yeah, well, his luck had to run out eventually.

  • Fort Hood shooting wasn’t a PTS-related issue, dumbasses

    Under the Hood

    So what does the LA Times have in common with the Iraq Veterans Against the War-funded Under The Hood coffee shop in Killeen, Texas? They both think that the shooting in Texas is an opportunity to talk about PTS, post-traumatic-stress. The problem is that the shooting had nothing to do with PTS.

    The shooter, Ivan Lopez, didn’t have PTS. He told the doctors that he had it, he also told doctors that he had a TBI – traumatic brain injury – but the facts don’t support either claim. He was being treated for depression, anxiety and sleeplessness, but his PTS and TBI were undiagnosed – they were self-reported. That doesn’t stop the LA Times from leaning on the “crazy vet” meme to explain the whole incident to us;

    The disorder alone does not make a combat veteran or anyone else more prone to premeditated violence, experts say. But it can severely strain relationships or lead to a firing or demotion at work — events that can push someone over the edge.

    And some conditions associated with PTSD — depression, anxiety, anger, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts — are also associated with those who commit mass shootings.

    “It’s easy to identify possible predictors of a rare tragic event after the fact,” Richard J. McNally, a psychology professor at Harvard University, said in an email interview. “It is much harder to predict it.”

    The 34-year-old Lopez had been examined by a psychiatrist last month and was prescribed Ambien, among other drugs, while undergoing evaluation for PTSD.

    “We have very strong evidence that he had a medical history that indicates unstable psychiatric or psychological conditions,” Army Lt. Gen. Mark Milley, the Ft. Hood commander, told reporters. Yet Lopez was not placed under any restrictions, according to the Army.

    Several studies have found that combat veterans diagnosed with PTSD are two to three times more likely than other combat veterans to commit domestic violence or other violent acts, said Dr. Prakash Masand, a former Duke Univeristy [sic] psychiatrist who has studied the disorder.

    Not exactly true. PTS makes veterans withdraw from social contacts which means that their violence is directed inward, not outward. The LA Times tries hard to say that even though the shooting at Hood isn’t PTS related, it really is.

    Meanwhile in Killeen, Texas, Under The Hood coffee clatch manager, Cindy Thomas is also blaming PTS for the shooting;

    For her part, Thomas grapples with the harsh media spotlight that tragedies like the Fort Hood shooting generate, but weighs it against the awareness it brings to the struggles of everyday soldiers.

    “We’ve been seeing these things happen on a smaller scale for years, soldiers killing spouses in houses, domestic violence” – the things Americans outside the military community don’t hear about.

    “We have talked about it until we’re blue in the face,” she says. “These are the kinds of things that happen when we don’t take care of our soldiers.”

    Dependopotamus Thomas doesn’t mention that her husband, a careerist in the Army, divorced her ass when she started Under The Hood against his wishes. Things like her behavior probably contribute more to domestic violence in Fort Hood than any reaction to the soldiers’ participation in war.

    Yes, I’ll agree that troops talking to each other about their experiences is the best treatment, but troops talking to Matthis Chiroux and the other border-line criminals, like Carl Webb who are attracted to Under The Hood doesn’t help anyone – except Cindy Thomas and the IVAW.

    I’ll remind you that Jason Abdo, the failed Fort Hood bomber, a client of James Branum, the anti-military lawyer who was a regular at Under The Hood, was probably supported by Under The Hood and IVAW while he was hiding out from Fort Campbell child porn charges.

  • Winn/McCord for governorship of Kansas

    McChord Winn banner
    McChord banner

    Doc Bailey sent us a link to the disturbing news that Iraq Veterans Against the War member and Matthis Chiroux/Ward Riley hugger, Ethan McCord is the running mate of Republican Jennifer Winn in the governor’s race in Kansas. McCord made his bones in the IVAW by cleaving to the video released by WikiLeaks crowd that they called “Collateral Murder”. It seems that McCord was there that day in Iraq.

    Well, I called the Winn campaign to see how well they had investigated their candidate, the fellow I spoke to, Mike (he wouldn’t give me his last name) said that he had read our blog and that we didn’t have any credibility (“not to be insulting”, he added). Now, I’m not insulted at all, because all of the phonies doubt my credibility, while all of the real veterans on the planet will testify to my veracity. Not only that, we also have Doc Bailey on our staff who knew McCord in Iraq and wrote extensively about him here, and then again at his own place when McCord said that Breanna Manning should be awarded the Medal of Honor.

    Mike, the fellow on the Winn campaign, also told me that McCord had been vetted by those paragons of virtue at MSNBC. So there you go.

    So let’s look at Jennifer Winn, the gubernatorial candidate. According to KAKE, Winn decided to run for governor when her son was arrested for murder during a drug bust that went bad. I guess so she can pardon him;

    Jennifer Winn said she was just a business woman who was too busy to pay much attention to politics until her son was charged with murder. Her frustration with what she believes is the court’s unfair treatment of her son inspired her to enter politics.

    […]

    Winn, who will run against Gov. Sam Brownback as a Republican, said when announcing her candidacy Saturday that the criminalization of marijuana is what leads to the violence that sometimes accompanies its trade.

    Her son, Kyler Carriker, 22, is charged with first-degree murder in connection with an April drug deal that led to the death of 33-year-old Ronald Betts. Winn said her son did not kill anyone and only told a friend where he could buy some marijuana.

    I’m thinking that a Republican candidate for governor in Kansas is dead in the water when they base their entire campaign on legalizing marijuana. But having this albatross around her neck won’t help;

    A 33-year-old man was shot several times at around 9:30 p.m. Thursday in a house at 446 N. Emporia, near Central and Broadway, Wichita police Lt. Todd Ojile said. The man was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis, where he was pronounced dead about half an hour later.

    The gunfire injured two other people, a 22-year-old man and 29-year-old woman, Ojile said Friday. Police were seeking three men in connection with the shooting, he said.

    Early Friday evening, two men – identified in online arrest reports as Kyle Beltz, 21, and Kyler Carriker, 22 – had been booked into Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, records show.

  • Kokesh pleads guilty

    We’ve been following the case of Adam Kokesh, a former and vocal member of the Iraq Veterans Against the War who loaded a shotgun a few blocks from the White House on July 4th this year for a video camera. He’s been languishing in jail for about four months after Virginia police raided his house and seized a measure of illicit drugs.

    ROS sends us a link to the Washington Post which reports the latest developments;

    Kokesh’s impromptu plea came during an unscheduled hearing, just two weeks after Kokesh pleaded not guilty Oct. 24 to the charges and told Judge Patricia A. Broderick that he was exercising his constitutional rights. Kokesh, who had grown a long, thick beard while in custody, also announced that he was replacing his attorney, who had been involved in the case since Kokesh’s arrest.

    A trial was set for Nov. 18, and Kokesh’s supporters had been advocating for jury nullification in his case.

    But on Wednesday, standing next to his new attorney, Kokesh pleaded guilty to carrying a rifle or shotgun, possession of an unregistered firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition. In a separate case, Kokesh pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of marijuana in the District.

    Kokesh is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 17. Broderick ordered Kokesh to stay out of the District and said he must report in with supervising authorities weekly. The judge also ordered that Kokesh not possess any firearms. Kokesh faces a maximum of more than six years in prison on the combined charges.

    I guess that four months in the hoosegow did him good – he’s finally owning up to his misdeeds and taking his punishment. All of those other things that we’ve watched him do over the years enticed him to up the ante with each new antic. I’m sure the judge will probably just give him time served, but maybe that was enough.
