    Edwin Jackson’s killer was wanted for deportation

    A pall was cast over yesterday’s Superbowl football game by the news of Indianapolis Colt linebacker Edwin Jackson’s death in an automobile accident caused by a man using the alias Alex Cabrera Gonsales who slammed into Jackon’s Uber ride. The drunken sot was a Guatemalan whose real name is Manuel Orrego-Savala and he’s been deported from the US twice according to CBS4;

    Police believe [Jeffrey] Monroe was working as an Uber driver and Jackson was his passenger. At some point Jackson became sick, so Monroe pulled over on the side of I-70 just west of Holt Road shortly before 4 a.m. They were standing outside of the car when Orrego-Savala drove a black Ford F-150 onto the emergency shoulder and struck the rear of the car, as well as the victims.

    A state trooper discovered the wreckage, and as he slowed to stop for the crash, police say he struck the body of one of the victims in the center lane.

    According to police, Orrego-Savala fled the scene on foot, but the trooper who discovered the crash apprehended him shortly after on the ramp to Holt Rd.

    Orrego-Savala was deported in 2007 and 2009, according to the news. Police claim that he was driving without a license and that ICE has filed a detainer request on him with Indiana State Police.

  • Illegal alien, with driver’s license, suspected of rapes.

    Alfonso Alarcon-Nuñez

    Then presidential candidate Trump was vilified for his “rapist” and “criminal” related descriptions regarding illegal aliens from Mexico and other Latino nations. Liberals joined the fold and acted “in solidarity with these immigrants”, with Californian politicians going as far as insisting on California being a sanctuary state. One of those illegals is sitting in jail on suspicion of multiple rapes.

    Alfonso Alarcon-Nuñez faces charges involving raping drunk women, burglarizing them, forced oral, etc. His plan of attack involved targeting parties where he knew he could get drunk women to utilize his services as an Uber driver. He’s an illegal alien with a driver’s license:

    From California’s KSBY News Station:

    Alfonso Alarcon-Nunez, 39, was arrested at his Santa Maria home last week. The DA’s Office says he has been identified as an undocumented immigrant. The DA’s Office adds he was voluntarily deported from New Mexico back in 2005.

    The District Attorney says he was issued a valid driver’s license back in 2015.

    Liberals on social media are circulating stories of George Garcia, landscaper, being deported after being in the U.S. for 30 years. The implication? That President Trump and conservatives are inhumane and are “xenophobes” and “racists”, and don’t care about wrecking lives to act out their “racism” and “xenophobia”.

    What the conservatives are actually arguing; however, is that enforcing the law isn’t just abiding by rule of law. In cases of the need for deportation, enforcing the law could’ve saved lives. Alfonso Alarcon-Nuñez has been charged with 10 felonies, suspected of at least four rapes, and is suspected, based on initial investigation, of conducting even more rapes and burglaries.

    Perhaps cooperation with federal immigration authorities and law enforcement, and tighter security at our border, isn’t such a bad idea…

  • Feds to target No. California for illegal immigrant raids

    According to the Houston Chronicle, the Trump Administration plans to import Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to Northern California, specifically, the San Francisco area, to stage large scale raids, hoping to net 1500 illegal immigrants who have been ordered to leave the country or who are known immigrant criminals. The raids are seen as a Federal reaction to California Governor Brown’s signature on SB54, declaring California to be a sanctuary state for illegal immigrants;

    [Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan] said at the time that the federal government would not allow California to be “a sanctuary state for illegal aliens,” and would have no choice but to “conduct at-large arrests in local neighborhoods and at worksites, which will inevitably result in additional collateral arrests, instead of focusing on arrests at jails and prisons where transfers are safer for ICE officers and the community.”

    Early this month, Homan told Fox News that “California better hold on tight.” He said that if local politicians “don’t want to protect their communities, then ICE will.”

    Told of the planned sweep, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein expressed outrage Tuesday, saying immigrants “must not be targeted in raids solely because they are Californians.” She said a large-scale operation would show that “the administration is carrying out its enforcement actions to make a political point and not based on the security of the country.”

    Yeah, they are not being targeted “solely” because they live in California – they’re being targeted because they committed crimes in California against other Californians and they’ve been ordered by courts to leave the country.

    The statewide legislation signed by Brown limits the circumstances under which jails turn over undocumented inmates to the federal government. It also forbids police officers from arresting people on civil immigration warrants and from joining federal agents in task forces intended to enforce immigration laws.

    Under the Trump administration, ICE has repeatedly warned that if the agency can’t detain people from local jails, it will be forced to arrest them in the communities that hold such policies.

    Last week, a group of politicians, including Reps. Barbara Lee, D-Oakland, and Zoe Lofgren, D-San Jose, sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen requesting a meeting with her and Homan to clarify the remarks he made on Fox News about stepping up enforcement in California.

    “The statements are a direct threat to Californians,” the letter read. “These statements are reprehensible and the department’s change in policy will instill fear in our communities. … Acting Director Homan’s attack on sanctuary cities is not only an infringement of state rights but a direct assault on communities of color.”

    Way to miss the whole point, guys. The statements are a threat to Californian criminals who are in this country illegally.

  • Jose Ines Garcia Zarate indicted on Federal charges

    Jose Ines Garcia Zarate indicted on Federal charges

    Jose Ines Garcia Zarate, the fellow who murdered Kate Steinle with a stolen firearm on a San Francisco pier, and was sentenced to a mere three years for being a felon with a gun last week, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press, on one count each of felon in possession of a firearm and of “being an alien illegally and unlawfully in the United States” in possession of a gun and ammunition.

    Garcia Zarate had been deported five time[s] before the shooting. The San Francisco sheriff’s department also released him from jail several weeks before the shooting despite a request from federal immigration officials to detain him for deporation.

    San Francisco is a so-called sanctuary city and local officials are limited in the cooperation they can give with federal deportation efforts.

    From ABC7;

    Garcia Zatate now faces felony charges for possessing a gun and bullets and for being “an illegally present alien in possession of a firearm and ammunition,” according to a press release from the Department of Justice’s Northern District of California.

    The indictment charges Garcia Zarate, 47, with handling a semi-autom[t]aic pistol and multiple rounds of ammunition on July 1, 2015, the day Steinle was shot and killed on San Francisco’s Pier 14.

    Officials said the indictment “merely alleges that a crime has been committed and Garcia Zarate, like all defendants, is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.”

    Garcia Zarate faces a maximum statutory penalty of 10 years in prison if convicted of either felony charge

    It’s odd that the media would blame President Trump for the hoopla surrounding this case, we wrote about it before Trump announced that he was running for president. Americans’ frustration with immigration enforcement in this country existed long before there was a candidate Trump.

  • Jose Ines Garcia Zarate slides on murder charge

    Jose Ines Garcia Zarate slides on murder charge

    Yesterday a jury found that illegal alien Jose Ines Garcia Zarate who had been deported five times until he murdered 32-year-old Kate Steinle two years ago with a handgun that he had stolen from a federal law enforcement officer was not responsible for her death on the San Francisco pier. Zarate successfully convinced the jury that the gun went off by itself. From CNN;

    Kate Steinle’s brother said the theft of the gun set off a series of system failures that culminated with the ruling.

    “I’m not surprised. The system failed Kate from the start of this chain of events. Why would the verdict be any different?” Brad Steinle said. “From the drug charge. To being released. To not being detained by ICE. The BLM agent leaving a loaded weapon in an unlocked car. It is failure after failure.”

    According to Fox News, the Justice Department is considering Federal charges against Zarate;

    U.S. immigration officials had said they would deport Garcia Zarate – also known as Juan Francisco Lopez Sanchez — who already had been deported five times and was wanted for a sixth deportation when Steinle was fatally shot in the back while walking with her father.

    The undocumented felon could spend three years in prison for the firearm charge but has already been behind bars for over two years as the case has made its way through court.

    Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores acknowledged Friday that the DOJ is looking at federal charges. She suggested a possible charge could be felony re-entry or a charge pertaining to a violation of supervised release.

    “We’re looking at every option and we will prosecute this to the fullest extent of the law because these cases are tragic and entirely preventable,” Flores said on “Fox & Friends” Friday.

    She also urged local governments to “reconsider” sanctuary policies.

    This whole case highlights the failures of depending on the government to protect us from the worst criminals.

  • Abdulahi Hasan Sharif, Edmonton terrorist, was ordered out of the US

    Abdulahi Hasan Sharif, Edmonton terrorist, was ordered out of the US

    According to CBC, Abdulahi Hasan Sharif was ordered out of the US by an immigration judge in 2011. Instead, he went to Canada in 2012. This last weekend, he stabbed a police officer and ran over four pedestrians with a U-Haul truck;

    In July 2011, U.S. Customs and Border Protection transferred Abdulahi Hasan Sharif into the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at Otay Mesa Detention Center in San Diego, Calif., according to Jennifer D. Elzea, acting press secretary for the ICE office of public affairs.

    Two months later, on Sept. 22, 2011, an immigration judge ordered Sharif removed to Somalia. Sharif waived his right to appeal that decision.

    But Sharif was released on Nov. 23, 2011, on an ICE order of supervision, “due to a lack of likelihood of his removal in the reasonably foreseeable future,” Elzea said in a statement to CBC News.

    Sharif failed to report to the ICE enforcement and removal operations centre on his scheduled date, Jan. 24, 2012.

    “Efforts by ERO San Diego to locate him were not successful,” Elzea said.

    Sharif had no known criminal history at the time of his dealings with ICE, she said.

    Sharif crossed the border into Canada in 2012, Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale said Monday in Ottawa.

    Goodale said Sharif arrived through a “regular port of entry” and obtained refugee status at the time.

    Imagine that – you tell an immigrant that we don’t want him here and he decides he doesn’t want to show up for the free ride back to his shithole country. I guess it’s too much trouble to lock him up before his trip back home.

  • College Park, MD didn’t vote to allow illegal aliens to vote

    The other day we told you that the College Park, Maryland city council voted to allow illegal aliens the right to vote. Turns out we were wrong, according to Fox5DC;

    The council voted 4-3 Tuesday night in favor of the amendment that would have allowed legal permanent residents and undocumented immigrants to vote in its municipal elections.

    “For most Council actions, a simple majority of Councilmembers present must vote in favor of an item for it to be adopted,” the City of College Park said in a news release. “However, changes to the Charter have a different requirement. The City Charter was amended in June to require the affirmative vote of six elected officials to change the Charter.”

    City officials said they are now notifying residents to inform them that the measure did not pass.

    The article continues that there are six other Maryland communities that allow illegals to vote, though.

  • College Park, MD votes to allow illegal immigrants the right to vote

    According to Fox5DC, after a brief comment period, the city council of College Park, Maryland voted to allow illegal immigrants the right to vote in local elections.

    One man against the proposal came to the podium saying he was called a Nazi while waiting in line to voice his opinion.

    Yeah, well, that’s considered rational debate these days.

    “The reality is allowing all people to vote in municipal elections is going to make College Park more inclusive, and that has been the history of voting rights expansion in the United States and what has happened in our neighbors in Maryland who have expanded voting rights to non-U.S. citizens,” said Todd Larson, who is in favor of the proposal.

    Inclusive. That’s a goal. Include people in the election process who are breaking the law by their very presence here.

    Later into the meeting, a council member proposed a new amendment that would only allow green card holders to vote and exclude undocumented immigrants. However, the vote on the green card amendment failed.

    So, the city council made a conscious decision to give the vote to people who are in this county illegally.

    It seems to me that if the council were doing what the people of College Park wanted them to do, they’d put the issue to a referendum instead of ramming it down their throats.
