  • Occupy coloring book

    Got some time on your hands and wondering what to do? Rick sends us a link to an article about the coloring book of the Occupy Wall Street crowd;

    It features puzzles, poems, and games surrounding the group of protestors.

    The book has yet to hit shelves, but in the two days it’s been online, 1,000 copies have been ordered.

    Publishers with “Really Big Coloring Books” say the idea came about a month ago after watching footage of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

    I think it’d be a nice gesture for someone to send one to Mrs. TSO, because she’s going to need something to do in Cabo seein’s how she’s with Mister “I’m going to take a nap”. You can send it in care of “the hot young wife with the old fat guy”. How many can there be in Cabo?

  • OWS marchers struck by Mercedes

    Tman sends us a link to an article from SF Gate which describes an encounter between a motorist and some OWS protesters in Oakland last night in which two protesters suffered leg and ankle injuries. The story was written backwards, so I’ll correct that here’

    [BART Police Deputy Chief Daniel] Hartwig said witnesses had differing accounts of what happened, with some saying the driver appeared to have gunned the Mercedes into the victims in frustration and others saying he had been provoked by activists pounding on his car.

    So it looks pretty likely that protesters were attempting to damage the gentleman’s car and he tried to evade them. But the original article made it sound as if he merely plowed into the crowd.

    BART police officers who were guarding nearby transit stations responded, questioned the driver and several witnesses, then let the driver leave the scene at 11th Street and Broadway in his car.

    As the driver left, many in the crowd yelled at him and at police, saying he should have stayed at the scene or been arrested.

    So the justice crowd wants to be judge and jury. The only justice is what they want and there’s no room for innocent until proven guilty. Nice.

  • Another Marine swept up with Occupy

    Jayel Aheram, for all appearances is indeed a former Marine who was honorably discharged last year, yet here he is speaking from jail to the Palm Desert Patch;

    “I’ve been abroad to defend freedom and liberty in foreign countires. When I’m here exercising that freedom and liberty, I’m arrested, shackled and chained and threated like a common criminal,” Aheram said, wearing an orange jumpsuit.

    Ah, the old standing on the bodies of veterans to rise above the inevitable arresting officers ploy.

    It appears that the city of Palm Desert gave the “occupiers” a permit for four days which expired Friday. The occupiers continued occupying through the weekend without the permission of the people of the city. So they were arrested after the park closed at 11 pm;

    “They ambushed us. It was a raid. It was a late night raid,” Aheram said.

    The police ambushed them after warning the protesters they’d be arrested if they continued to flaunt city ordinances.

    “I’m merely exercising my first amendment right. The city put a responsible citizen in jail for exercising his first amendment right,” Aheram said.

    Yeah, responsible citizens don’t break the law.

    A little Google research turned up a comment by Jayel Aheram on Red State in which he defends Kokesh against a Republican assault on Red State;

    So I guess he can be loosely tied to IVAW. There are several other posts on the internet that connect Aheram to the anti-war ideology, although I can’t find evidence of his actual membership in IVAW, he certainly was a good candidate for them, if they still had actual veterans of Iraq in the organization.

    Thanks to Valerie for the link.

  • Michael Moore ignores questions about his $50 million

    So, plus-sized Michael Moore addresses a crowd at the Occupy Wall Street protest in Portland. He tells the crowd how simple it would be for the richest 400 people to give up a million bucks to the rest of us. One member of the crowd asks when Moore is going to give a million bucks from his fifty million dollar net worth. Of course Moore ignores him. When he persues Moore, the questioner is asked by members of the crowd who is paying him to harrass Moore;

    Of course, if they were true to their principles, the Leftists would ask Moore the same question. But, the Occupy movement is just a political exercise and they can’t be seen to eat their own.

    Thanks to one of my nameless ninjas for the link.

  • Occupy Wall Street costs jobs

    Fox News reports that one cafe owner in the vicinity of the Occupy Wall Street encampment had to lay of 21 employees because the stench, filth and penniless crowds has damaged his foot traffic business;

    Marc Epstein, owner of the Milk Street Cafe at 40 Wall Street in lower Manhattan, said he had to cut 21 of the 97 members of his staff on Thursday and Friday after seeing sales plummet by 30 percent in the six weeks since the protests began. He’s also been forced to slash the restaurant operating hours, moving up his closing time from 9 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

    Way to go, you hippy fucks. Your pointless protest which no one supports is finally having an impact, but not on the banks or the rich, but the 99% who you pretend to support.

    Epstein said he has pleaded with city officials, the New York police and his landlord, Donald Trump, to get the barricades removed, but he has been unable to get a return call from the city and the New York police.

    Well, at least we know what Bloomberg thinks is important.

  • Occupy Halloween Horror

    TSO sends this video of the horror inflicted on Occupy DC protesters from the good folks at Accuracy In Media;

    I noticed VFP’s and VVAW’s Winter Soldier I participant and IVAW advisor Bill Perry in the video, but I don’t see him at the table looking for a job.

  • Scott Olsen news

    It was a week ago that Iraq veteran, IVAW and Veterans for Peace member, Scott Olsen was somehow injured while police cleared out a hippie uprising in Oakland. Speculation has run wild in the vacuum of information about that incident. Gordon Duff speculated that Olsen was shot with a 40mm grenade lancher, but that doesn’t seem to bear out, according to the SF Gate;

    The San Francisco Sheriff’s Department was one of more than a dozen law enforcement agencies helping Oakland police on the streets Tuesday night. Eileen Hirst, a spokeswoman for the agency, said the 37 deputies who were in Oakland did not carry tear gas, concussive grenades or any other type of explosive canisters.

    Hirst said one or two officers had Arwens, guns made by Police Ordnance Co. Inc. of Markham, Ontario, that fire cylinders meant to stun suspects and force them to comply. However, those weapons were not fired Tuesday night, she said.

    Oddly enough, after the hippies have singled out a deputy as the person who injured Olsen, again with no evidence, after plastering pictures of Olsen across the internet as he lay bleeding, they’ve suddenly clammed up about Olsen’s injuries;

    Olsen continued to recover at Oakland’s Highland Hospital on Monday. His roommate, Keith Shannon, said he visited his friend on Sunday but was not allowed to discuss his condition.

    “He’s doing better,” Shannon said.

    Adirondack Patriot, who sent us the SF Gate link speculates that maybe the doctors have found evidence that the injury wasn’t a result of police action, which would explain why no one is talking about Olsen’s condition.

    I wouldn’t be so suspicious of the Left if they had been this vocal about the Guerena murder in Pima County, AZ and this quick to judge Sheriff Dupnik’s deputies.

  • Occupy news digest

    All of you seem to be keeping up with Occupy better than i can, so here are some of the issues;

    Apparently, Richmond City government got fed up with Occupy Richmond and bulldozed down ther tents after giving the occupiers an hour’s notice according to a CBS News link sent by Jerry920;

    “We started occupying with high hopes, and, unfortunately, this is what it came down to,” said one protester.

    Boo-hoo, that’s what the organizers have been hoping would happen. Being oppressed is more important than your expression of free speech to the perpetually outraged.

    Speaking f organizers, our buddy Zombie sent us this link a few secnds before Country SInger sent it to us. Zombie has compiled a list of organizers and supporters of the 99%. Most of them won’t urprise you, well, at least it ddn’t surprise me.

    Lastky TSO sends us a link to Gordon Duff‘s atest criticism of the police involved in oppressing the 99%. I know it’s surprising, but Duff blaes police “brutality” on…wait for it…the Jooos.

    One problem in America is that many police departments are trained by Israeli groups, competent in their own way, that typically use police and military against Palestinian protesters who have no legal protections.

    OK, all of you cops out there, raise your hand if you were trained by the Jews to do your police work. Yeah, that’s what I thought.

    Somehow, with no supporting evidence, as usual, Duff blames Scott Olsen’s injuries on an M79 grenade launcher;

    The M79 Grenade Launcher, one of the typical police devices, was responsible for as many deaths of American troops in Vietnam, what we call “friendly fire.” What killed our Army and Marines? They died when hit by tear gas rounds, parachute illumination rounds, practice rounds, the kind of things used in Oakland.

    All of you cops raise your hand if you have a M79 40mm grenade launcher in your department’s inventory. But let’s suppose that the Oakland cops did have an M79 that nght – why would they need a weapon with a maximum range of 400 meters and a minimum armng range of 15 meters to stop protesters who were apparently within throwing distance since they lobbed a flash bang grenade into the crowd.

    And Gordon caps his attack on cops with the video of our recently discovered Neo-Nazi buddy Jason Todd Ready. Of course, in TSO’s email exchanges with Ready, we’ve discovered a bunch of other things that Ready and Duff have in common, look for other posts highlighting those similarities.
