  • Occutard bomber has a long arrest record

    The Lorraine County (OH) Chonicle-Telegram reports that 23-year-old Joshua Stafford who was arrested Monday in a plot to blow up a bridge outside of Cleveland has long arrest record;

    In 2008, Stafford was found guilty of criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, criminal damaging, theft and attempted breaking and entering.

    According to a police report, Stafford, along with two juveniles, broke into a home on Lake Road on July 10, 2008.

    The homeowner told police that as she pulled into her driveway, she spotted three men inside her home, but the men ran away when she yelled.

    Police said three bottles of wine were missing from the home, two wine glasses were shattered, the porch railing was kicked out and the window shade was torn and ripped.

    Later that year, then 19-year-old Stafford was also arrested for stealing a bicycle, DVDs and baseball cards at a public library. I guess because The Man was keeping him down. What 19-year-old steals a fricken bicycle?

    His Facebook page lists his employer as “Occupy Cleveland” – his parents must be so proud. He’s even a pathetic criminal – breaks in a house and steals three bottles of wine? Breaks in a library and steals DVDs and baseball cards. They don’t have Netflix in Ohio? It’s $7/month, Joshua.

    His Facebook page lists his only interest as “smoking weed” – shocker, huh?

    So now he’s graduated to federal custody. The Occupy Cleveland people deny that they, as a group, don’t advocate violence, but they have to think that just by their assemblage, every petty criminal in the area is going to be attracted to the potential for free shit.

  • OK, so point and laugh at this

    Since some of you don’t appreciate that I made fun of some Trekkies, we should all go back to making fun of Occutards instead. I snagged this video from a Facebook friend.

    Hey, I only give you what you want.

  • Hippies celebrate communist holiday by destroying SF

    So, Happy Karl Marx Day. The filthy Occupy hippies in San Francisco kicked off the Occupy season last night by trashing their city, or at least a mile-long path of destruction, according to Mission Local;

    It is not immediately known how many people were arrested. The Occupy San Francisco group released a statement early Tuesday Morning saying the group of vandals were not part of the movement, but the statement was taken down shortly after.

    Yeah, that’s what they always say; “these aren’t our people”, yet they’re always there right alongside the hippies, aren’t they? Fox News Channel reports that the hippies are supposed to be out in New York City’s streets, but it’s raining, so the poor little puppies aren’t showing up.

    Occupy LA is promising a “general strike”, but how do you go on strike when you don’t have a job to begin with? In other words, they want people who do work and do have gainful employment to be slovenly sloths like them.

    Occupy is nothing but a punchline. Thanks to JP for the link to the SF story.

  • Ringo/Zombie; “Unite Against the War on Women” march

    Our buddy, Zombie, got a preview of our buddy Ringo‘s reportage on the march in LA against the war against women.

    I think you’ve had a sandwich or two too many, dear. Maybe waiting on me to make you one will help you a little. The Other McCain calls it “The ‘Million Ugly Women’ March” for obvious reasons.

  • Zombie: Meet the New Farm, Same as the Old Farm?

    Our buddy, Zombie went to check out the latest Occupy stunt in Berkeley in “Meet the New Farm, Same as the Old Farm? Occupy Seizes Berkeley’s “Gill Tract”

    Are you ready for the most ridiculous and pointless Occupation ever?

    Last week, on Earth Day, the Occupy movement illegally took over an entire farm and transformed it into…a farm!

    So proud are they of this revolutionary act that they showed off the farm to the media yesterday, so naturally I had to check it out.

  • Veterans For Peace in Syracuse demanding that more troops die

    Well, that’s not what they said, but you tell me what else could be the possible reason for protesting against the use of drones if they don’t advocate that more US troops be engaged with the enemy. It’s only fair that more US troops die, right? 28 protesters were arrested in DeWitt, NY outside of Hancock Field in one of my countless hometowns, Syracuse, NY;

    Sunday’s protest was part of a weekend event by the Upstate Coalition to Ground the Drones and End the Wars. The group opposes the military’s use of unmanned drones to target suspected terrorists in Afghanistan and elsewhere.

    Organizers said about 50 people participated. The Onondaga Sheriff’s Department estimated that about 150 protested.

    The 174th Fighter Wing of the New York Air National Guard has been remotely flying MQ-9 Reaper drones over Afghanistan, from Syracuse, since late 2009. The unmanned surveillance aircraft is armed with Hellfire missiles and laser-guided bombs.

    The key phrase here is “target…terrorists” So these ass monkeys must be opposed to killing terrorists. Don’t they realize that drones are the centerpiece of Joe “Bite Me” Biden’s robot ninja zombie strategy in Afghanistan? They put him in office…are they surprised that Biden sees the political value of killing terrorists by risking the lives of fewer US service members?

    28 of the little cretins in jail…that’s punishment right there for Syracuse’s normal jail crowd of shoplifters and drunk drivers to be confined with that crowd. Actually, 27 of them were issued appearance tickets.

    The 28th person, Jamie Stewart, 29, of Coatsville, Pa., was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor, after lying down in the middle of East Molloy Road, Gabriel said. Stewart was arraigned in the village of East Syracuse and held at the Onondaga County Justice Center on $250 cash or $500 bond.

    Now where is a filthy, jobless hippie going to get $250 dollars? That’s cruel and unusual to make him even think about earning some money.

  • Thomas Rick’s Big Idea

    Thomas Ricks of the Center for a New American Security writes in the Washington Post that the all-volunteer military is a thing of the past and we need to go back to the draft. If the Center for a New American Security sounds familiar, it’s because they’re the same numbnuts who started this talk about doing away with 20-year retirement for the military that we talked about almost a year ago. I guess the CNASC has a business plan that calls for one new stupid idea every year. Of course, bringing back the draft is not a new idea, it’s more like the Left clinging to their glory days.

    Ricks’ ill-considered reasoning is that if we still had a draft, the US would be less likely to commit military force where it’s needed;

    Over the past decade, this all-volunteer force has been put to the test and has succeeded, fighting two sustained foreign wars with troops standing up to multiple combat deployments and extreme stress.

    This is precisely the reason it is time to get rid of the all-volunteer force. It has been too successful. Our relatively small and highly adept military has made it all too easy for our nation to go to war — and to ignore the consequences.

    The drawbacks of the all-volunteer force are not military, but political and ethical. One percent of the nation has carried almost all the burden of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, while the rest of us essentially went shopping. When the wars turned sour, we could turn our backs.

    First of all, professional soldiers don’t want a bunch of draftees who we have to babysit for the period of their service. But Thomas Ricks doesn’t know anything about that.

    According to Wiki, Ricks is two days younger than me, but his experience in the military is entirely academic. He has “reported” on the military, he is in the business of criticizing the military, but he has never spent a day in uniform, so basically, he doesn’t know that the impact of his idiot opinions would absolutely destroy the military as it exists today.

    So, Ricks even admits that having a draft didn’t stop Lyndon Johnson from deploying drafted American soldiers to Vietnam, but he likes to give those draftees credit for ending our participation in the war against communists there. Combat forces went to Vietnam in 1965 and it was eight years before the last combat troops left Vietnam.

    Since Ricks called the Iraq War “reckless”, lets’ look at that one and compare it to his reasoning; The US invaded Hussein’s Iraq in 2003 and the last combat troops left Iraq eight years later in 2011. Without a draft. So what’s his point?

    Resuming conscription is the best way to reconnect the people with the armed services. Yes, reestablishing a draft, with all its Vietnam-era connotations, would cause problems for the military, but those could never be as painful and expensive as fighting an unnecessary war in Iraq for almost nine years. A draft would be good for our nation and ultimately for our military.

    Yeah, that’s the same bullshit thing that the Left uses against home-schoolers – that their children aren’t socializing with the public school students who are steeped in liberal bullshit drivel. So the same process should be applied to the military – there should be more idiot hippies in the military to “connect” the military to society. Personally, I’m not all that happy to be connected to society after my service.

    Society is jam-packed with pseudo-intellectuals like Ricks who think I need to be socialized and swallow their idiot opinions whole. I probably would have strangled a whole parcel of hippie draftees if anyone had inflicted those idiots on my platoon.

    The fact that draft didn’t stop Johnson from getting involved in Vietnam should be proof enough for most people, but Ricks is upset that the anti-war movement in this century didn’t get much traction, and he’s flailing around trying to give them some more relevance. He ought to wade into a crowd of college students and preach to them about bringing back the draft. I’ll happily provide the crowd with baseball bats so they can properly address his big idea.

  • How the Left Can Win the Military, and Save America’s Soul

    Some dillwad who claims he was a Marine for 5 years by the name of Lyle Jeremy Rubin also claims he has the key to the Left winning over the troops as they make their way through life after they take off their uniform for the last time. “How the Left Can Win the Military, and Save America’s Soul” is the title of his post in Dissent Magazine. Of course, his whole plan boils down to two words “fool them”.

    His whole plan is based on fallacies; that there’s strong support among the troops for Ron Paul, that they don’t support the war against terror, that Smedley Butler is their hero, and that the troops will be enticed into the Left’s Disney World of “a more equitable society after capitalism”.

    For his first point, I guess he didn’t see the five hundred actual veterans who showed up for the Veterans For Ron Paul rally in DC. Yeah, they came from across America in the tens to support their candidate.

    The problem with trying to make the point of the troops not supporting the war against terrorists is that there is no draft. Each and everyone of them volunteered and they still reenlist in droves despite the fact that they’re almost guaranteed a tour in the war zone.

    Smedley Butler is a proven idiot. His “book”, “War is a Racket” was a speech before it became several pages in a booklet. One of his recommendations to curb warfare was to let the soldiers vote in which wars they would allow the military to participate. If that doesn’t prove his idiocy, I don’t know what can possibly persuade you. You can read the whole thing, if you can spare 5 minutes at this link.

    On the last point, the reason veterans are generally more conservative than the rest of America is that we’ve seen the government at it’s best, and we all know that we can do better on our own without the government handing us stuff. Our equipment was the best the government wanted to buy and it inevitably failed and it was up to the individual to make it serviceable, because we knew that the bureaucracy to get the equipment fixed was unnecessarily complex and never worked to our advantage.

    The Left wants a more equitable society by making all of our decisions for us, veterans have lived in that world and found it lacking.

    Rubin also claims that there are already veterans in the Occupy movement and the anti-war clubs who can tempt veterans over to their side. We’ve already seen the types of veterans who are attracted to “their” side. The pretend veterans and outright liars we’ve profiled on this very blog as they popped up. Veterans like Jay Polk, Christopher M. Simmance, and Scott Olson, both sides will be disappointed on the results.

    Thanks to Daniel for the link.
