  • This is why we have safety briefs before ranges.

    From the people who first found this.

    (0:16) – Is it necessary to use a real gun to practice such a drill? It seems to be asking for an negligent discharge into the “aggressors” hand etc..
    (1:58) – Punching with your handgun and flashlight? “I’ve taken it from impact from shooting a projectile, to impact using the steel” – LOL ok buddy whatever you say…
    (2:45) – Where they start play fighting and trade taking shots from holds LOL priceless..
    (3:45) – Speed & Accuracy (trust your team members) – *epic facepalm* whyyyyy?
    (4:10) – Nice work on keeping the camera man in front of your muzzle, then dumping off a few shots… real classy and safe.
    (4:37) – Yet again the camera man is infront of the muzzle during live fire
    (4:42) – Why risk one life, when you can find 2 people stupid enough to stand next to your target? Like I always say 2 is 1 and 1 is none.

  • Sad News Via Gathering of Eagles

    From Larry Bailey via OWB.

    12/20/2011

    Eagles!
    This is from our sister organization, Eagles Up.  Let’s help this unlucky family get back on their feet.  What a trial they’ve had and are having, especially with the Westboro Baptist Church harassment calls.  That family of devils should have THEIR “home” burnt down around them!

    Merry Christmas to you all!

    Larry Bailey

    Full details At GoE.

    Here’s an ugly highlight:

    I unfortunately have some horrible news. If things weren’t bad enough for the family, Bill got a phone call from the westboro baptist church. They are the idiots who protest military funerals. The caller told Bill that it was the best day of their life when his son was killed, and it’s an even better day that they lost everything in the fire. They were all cheering in the phone. What *%!)&~# ! How can they call themselves a church? I won’t say what I think should be done with all of them, but I’m sure you agree.

  • Got a mirror, Gordon?

    Gordon DUff’s latest missive at the misnamed Veterans Today is entitled “Integrity to Indecency: The Hyena Bares Its Fangs“. it’s about a liberal think tank called The Center for Public Integrity which has brought to light some evidence that Gaddafi’s Libya’s chemical weapons were supplied and manufactured under the aegis of Iran.

    Of course, Duff, presenting not a whit of evidence, blames the Israelis, actually claiming that Israel helped Gaddafi develop and manufacture chemical weapons discovered there after Gaddafi’s death. That makes perfect sense since Gaddafi was notoriously anti-Israel and trained Palestinian terrorists during the 80s.

    But then after all of those assertions with no evidence except his statements, Duff accuses The Center for Public Integrity of the exact same thing;

    If you read the official cable, one taken from Wikileaks, you will note that the “Integrity Center” actually invented the entire story using anonymous sources that we assert they entirely invented.

    It is utterly impossible for those responsible for this report to not know everything they have written is utterly inaccurate.

    The fact that most of Duff’s posts are “invented” and “utterly inaccurate” doesn’t stop him from throwing those words at others, all the time using more “invented” evidence. And somehow he drags up the Bush patriarch Preston Bush into it;

    Iraq got their chemical weapons from the US, Britain, West Germany and Norway, brokered by Prescott Bush and Company.

    Well, you knew had to be the fault of some Bush, right? i think if Duff couldn’t blame a Bush and the Mossad in each of his articles, he’d implode.

  • This is not news. (Updated)

    Ok, for the past few years there have been people calling for President Bush to be tried for war crimes. I ignore most of these links because it is the same thing over and over again. But this one is different because there seems to be a court in Malaysia. I have never even heard of this group before.

    A tribunal in Malaysia, spearheaded by that nation’s former Prime Minister, yesterday found George Bush and Tony Blair guilty of “crimes against peace” and other war crimes for their 2003 aggressive attack on Iraq, as well as fabricating pretexts used to justify the attack. The seven-member Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal — which featured an American law professor as one of its chief prosecutors — has no formal enforcement power, but was modeled after a 1967 tribunal in Sweden and Denmark that found the U.S. guilty of a war of aggression in Vietnam, and, even more so, after the U.S.-led Nuremberg Tribunal held after World War II. Just as the U.S. steadfastly ignored the 1967 tribunal on Vietnam, Bush and Blair both ignored the summons sent to them and thus were tried in absentee.

    But it seems that this is going around the internet as if this were real news. The court is not legit and now power to do anything so what they say does not really mean anything. But despite that people seem to believe otherwise in the comments on youtube.

    Oh and they are going to ask the International Criminal Court co-sign the verdict.

    The tribunal ruled that Bush and Blair’s name should be entered in a register of war criminals, urged that they be recognized as such under the Rome Statute, and will also petition the International Criminal Court to proceed with binding charges. Such efforts are likely to be futile, but one Malaysian lawyer explained the motives of the tribunal to The Associated Press: “For these people who have been immune from prosecution, we want to put them on trial in this forum to prove that they committed war crimes.” In other words, because their own nations refuse to hold them accountable and can use their power to prevent international bodies from doing so, the tribunal wanted at least formal legal recognition of these war crimes to be recorded and the evidence of their guilt assembled. That’s the same reason a separate panel of this tribunal will hold hearings later this year on charges of torture against Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and others.

    Your not a formal organization to begin with much less anything that you come up with. This is a joke and a bad one at that. But expect to see this on your Facebook feed soon if not already.

    UPDATE:
    Seems that people are claiming that Former President Bush has canceled his trip to Switzerland because he is afraid that he will be arrested for war crimes. This bad joke is getting worse.

  • Eric May; the inevitable Zio-Globalist War

    In a link from TSO One of the crackpots at Veterans today, Eric May predicts that because his readers demand that he writes about it, that there’s a war coming…and of course, it’s because of the Jews again;

    The possibility of a world war soon is obvious to my readers, who have urged me to post this analysis. In the excerpts and bullets below, they will find the exposition of a grim summary:

    The Zio-Globalist war to control the Middle East has reached a deadly decision point, at which it must surrender regional initiative to Iran and global initiative to the emerging Sino-Russian alliance; or Zio-Globalism must double its bets in an effort to recover its lost power with an attack on Iran.

    Of course, if a global war never happens, May takes credit for bringing us world peace because he thinks that just by exposing the event in his column scares the Jews and the “Globalists” into inaction;

    God willing, the Herculean efforts of innumerable Internet researchers and writers will be a hedge of thorns that will protect us from the perilous prospects of the next three days.

    So if you’re still kicking three days from now, you have no one to thank except Eric May, who the Army foolishly QMPed (that’s Qualitative Management Program…he couldn’t get promoted because he was a poor officer so he got booted).

  • Kokesh’s latest irrelevant cause

    I’d heard this was in the works, but Adam Kokesh’s latest cause is raw milk smuggling from Pennsylvania to maryland. These brave hippies by unprocessed milk and take it across state lines in a huge convoy of mini-vans. Since the police are watchingthem, i don’t see wherethey’re doing anythin gbrave, but this is the kind of misbehavior the government encourages by not enforcing the laws which they’ve heaped on the citizens. I’m sure this will result in more oppressive laws.

    But, Kokesh is really hitting hard on th issues that affect veterans, isn’t he? First it was dancing at the Jefferson Memorial. now it’s raw milk smuggling.

  • Good riddance to bad rubbish

    Jesse Vemtura threw a hissy fit yesterday when his nuisance lawsuit against the TSA was thrown out of court and threatened to leave “the Fascist States of America” and live in Mexico, where apparently he thinks people have more freedoms and rights, reports Associated Press;

    Moments later, he vowed to apply for Mexican citizenship so he can live there more months of the year.

    The former Navy SEAL said he had lost his patriotism.

    “I will never stand for a national anthem again. I will turn my back and I will raise a fist,” he said.

    I guess that means he wpn’t be voting for Ron Paul, either, so there is an upside. I wish the media would learn enough to stop calling him a SEAL. They should read more.

  • Official Puppeteer of Occupy Wall Street

    What a gig?

    Don Surber  offers a teachable moment.

    A few years ago, Joe Therrien, a graduate of the NYC Teaching Fellows program, was working as a full-time drama teacher at a public elementary school in New York City. Frustrated by huge class sizes, sparse resources and a disorganized bureaucracy, he set off to the University of Connecticut to get an MFA in his passion — puppetry.

    Take the time to read Don’s post. It only takes 4 or 5 WTFs to get through.

    I’m an ignorant old hillbilly; I didn’t even know one could get a MFA in puppetry? Or would want one, or mumble, mumble…
