    Chief Tango sends us our feel good stories today, the first from Florida;

    A resident of a South Tallahassee apartment complex shot two individuals during a home invasion robbery Thursday.

    While it is unclear the extent of the suspects’ injuries, Tallahassee Police Department Spokesman Scott Beck said the second suspect, who fled the scene but was apprehended later, was injured and was being treated at a local hospital.

    Beck said Thursday night he did not have details on the condition of the other suspect. He could not speak to details on what could have caused the incident, but that the residents of the apartment had not been charged with a crime yet.

    The next story comes from Las Vegas where cops got the call they usually can only dream about;

    It happened at the Donut Hut at 3242 East Desert Inn around 11:15 p.m.

    According to the arrest report, the suspect entered the business and demanded money from the patrons and clerks.

    During the robbery, the clerk of the store pulled a gun and pointed it at the suspect. The suspect then walked to the clerk and attempted to take the gun.

    The owner, along with the clerk and suspect, struggled over the gun. During the struggle, the gun fired, striking the suspect who then ran out of the business with no money.

    UMC contacted police about a man who had been shot in the abdomen area, and had driven himself to the hospital. He matched the description of the donut shop suspect.

    The third story is yet another story from Detroit;

    Police say the man saw people loading what he thought were his belongings into their car outside of the home on Glenwood.

    The man was not the homeowner and was renting the home at the time.

    When he confronted them, one of the suspects began firing at him. Police say the man pulled out his gun and shot the suspect, who later died at the hospital.

    The man was also shot in the leg during the exchange, and is in the hospital in serious condition.

    Police say the suspect who was killed was 23 years old, and was with several others at the time.

    According to the police chief, the other people who were with the suspect got away, and the department, along with other agencies are stepping up patrols and providing special attention to the corner where the robbery happened.
