    Clockboy’s lawsuit

    ahmed-mohamed-clock

    Our buddy, Jim Hanson (AKA Uncle Jimbo) is one of the defendants named in a lawsuit filed by the parents of Ahmed Mohamed, otherwise known as “clockboy” in Texas. The list includes; The Blaze, Glenn Beck, Center for Security Policy, Fox Television Stations, LLC, Ben Ferguson, Ben Shapiro and Beth Van Duyne are named in the suit filed in Dallas County court. Apparently, according to the lawsuit, Hanson said that the little episode in Irving Texas was a PR stunt, so he gets sued.

    NBC has the 21-page lawsuit;

    The 21-page lawsuit claims defamation and demands an apology and retraction for statements made during coverage of the story.

    Yeah, well, good luck with that, Mr Public Figure.

    ADDED: The Center for Security Policy says they’re standing firm in the face of this lawsuit;

    In response to the reports of the filing of the Mohamed lawsuit, Jim Hanson observed:

    The Center for Security has long been targeted by George Soros and his proxies among leftist organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Center for American Progress and by Islamic supremacists and their Muslim Brotherhood front groups. This “Red-Green axis” has relentlessly promoted the false narrative that we are “Islamophobes,” and “bigots.”

    We look forward to the opportunity this meritless and harassing lawsuit affords to demonstrate the true object of such efforts – namely, denying free expression that factually and authoritatively exposes Islamic supremacism, especially as it is becoming manifest in the United States. We will also demonstrate the scurrilous exploitation of a bright young man by his father in the service of the latter’s political agenda.

    The Center for Security Policy’s general counsel, David Yerushalmi, added:

    The lawsuit brought against my clients by Mohamed Mohamed will be shown in court to have been, in the first instance, frivolous and – once that fact is established – to have been an example of malicious prosecution. We regard this as a classic example of Islamist lawfare and look forward to demonstrating it decisively and making an object lesson of its perpetrators.

  • What Davidson said

    Here’s a Raw Story article that refers to comments made by Representative Warren Davidson (R-OH) who replaced weepy John Boehner in Congress;

    Davidson Raw Story

    The headline readers on the Left have all they need for information for this story, but even in the article, that’s not what Davidson, a veteran himself, said;

    “Just like workers comp out here’s got moochers, I wish that there were no vets that were the same sort of problem on our society,” Davidson said. “But part of the problem is there are some vets that are moochers and they’re clogging up the system, and we do as taxpayers want to make sure the VA filters out these folks that are pretenders. Just like we wish there were no people out there with stolen valor, but that’s a problem in the vet community, too.”

    We’ve seen a number of phonies who try to use the system – mostly folks who have never deployed, were never injured in training who make up stories about their service. Some have never even served in the military;

    His spokesman cited four cases of VA benefits fraud uncovered this year, all of which were prosecuted.

    Only one of those four cases involved VA health care services, when a California man falsely claimed to be a decorated Marine Corps veteran to get health care benefits and other assistance.

    The Inspector General’s Office investigated 14 cases between Oct. 1, 2015, and March 31, 2016, which resulted in five arrests.

    I think there have been more than four prosecuted since March. There are also a number of pretenders who haven’t been busted by the VA – like Joe Cryer.

    Obviously Davidson was talking about the fakes and phonies, not all veterans. But then, Raw Story isn’t known for presenting facts to it’s readers.

  • Conor Climo; Almost a thing

    Conor Climo; Almost a thing

    Conor Climo

    This video came up on social media the other night and everyone lost their minds over this dude;

    This Conor Climo fellow went on neighborhood watch with his AR and his very limited military experience – in his words “very briefly” – and hundreds of rounds of 5.56mm ammo.

    Well, in his favor he came out and apologized in this video;

    He admits that he was an entry-level discharge for being a physical fitness failure – I don’t know how that even happens, how someone that young and thin can’t pass a PT test.

    But, anyway, before my inbox starts filling up here he is.

  • Manning gets solitary confinement

    Manning gets solitary confinement

    manning tears

    Don’t ask me how, but Bradley Manning, the traitor who was sentenced to thirty-five years confinement at the Leavenworth Disciplinary Barracks was able to report to his supporters about his recent encounter with the prison disciplinary board for his failed attempt to commit suicide;

    “My three member disciplinary board took place today.

    I presented evidence and was allowed to question witnesses through the board president. The hearing lasted four hours. There was a break for lunch.

    I waited nervously for the board to vote. I received the decision after 30 minutes.

    I was acquitted of the “Resisting The Force Cell Move Team” charge.

    I was found guilty of the “Conduct Which Threatens” charge. This charge was for the suicide attempt.

    I was found guilty of the “Prohibited Property” charge, which was for an unmarked copy of “Hacker, Hoaxer, Whistleblower, Spy,” by Gabriella Coleman.

    My punishment is 14 days in solitary confinement. 7 of those days are “suspended.” If I get in trouble in the next six months, those seven days will come back.

    The term for this status is “disciplinary segregation.”

    I wonder if he’ll be able to communicate with his fans while he’s in solitary. Maybe if the Army cut off his contact with the stank-ass hippies on the outside, he’d have less of a reason to perform for them.

  • Manning to get free surgery in return for his selfless service to his country

    Manning to get free surgery in return for his selfless service to his country

    manning tears

    A large number of people have alerted us to the unsurprising news that the Pentagon will capitulate to Bradley Manning’s hunger strike and they’ve promised him that they will pay for his gender-assignment surgery. Manning is currently serving a three-decade sentence in prison for his traitorous transfer of confidential and secret information to journalists;

    Manning ended a hunger strike begun last week after receiving assurances that the government would provide the surgery, said Chase Strangio, her lawyer and an attorney for the American Civil Liberties Union. Manning’s doctors recommended in April that she have the male-to-female surgery, Strangio said.

    No timeline has been set for her surgery, Strangio said. Manning will meet with her doctors in the next week or two.

    Manning sued for access to hormone treatment, and the Army agreed to provide it last year.

    This ought to really have a positive effect on readiness. Or maybe not. At this point, who cares? I’m sure he’ll soon be pardoned for his transgressions because his lawyer will argue that he’s not the fellow who committed his crimes.

  • Darwin or Florida?

    Darwin or Florida?

    Alexandro Garibaldi

    BNG and Bobo send us a link to the story of poor 23-year-old Joaquin Mendez who owned a bullet-proof vest. He wondered aloud if it worked, and his cousin, Alexandro Garibaldi, 24, being helpful, fired a round at it while Joaquin was wearing it. Mendez was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital.

    Police say Alexandro Garibaldi…told police he heard a gunshot and found his cousin, Joaquin Mendez, 23, outside with a gunshot wound.

    […]

    Garibaldi was charged with manslaughter and possession of a firearm by a felon.

    Well, at least Joaquin knows the answer to his question before he really needs the vest.

  • Manning hunger strike begins

    Manning hunger strike begins

    manning tears

    I guess no one was paying Bradley Manning any attention because he’s announced that he’s beginning a hunger strike this week, according to Military Times;

    Chelsea Manning says she began the hunger strike Friday because her pleas for better treatment at Fort Leavenworth have been ignored. She says she will not voluntarily consume anything except water and prescription medication.

    In the statement supplied by her ACLU attorney, Manning says the hunger strike will continue until she receives the “minimum standards of dignity, respect and humanity” and she is prepared for the possibility of dying.

    The little weasel isn’t balanced correctly and the Army caves to everything he wants, so it’s really no surprise that he’d try this to get attention, too. He should talk to the Guantanamo detainees about how much dignity there is in being force fed. But, thanks for another reason for me to post our TAH exclusive photo of his first day in the Army.

    Thanks to Pineywoods NCO for the link.

    Malachi Love-Robinson in Virginia

    Malachi Love-Robinson

    We first wrote about Malachi Love-Robinson earlier this year when he was arrested for impersonating a doctor in Florida. Hondo wrote about him last week while he was still in Florida writing bad checks.

    Bobo sends us a link to the news that he’s taken his fakery on the road and he tried to con a dealer out of a Lexus in Stafford, Virginia the other day.

    The employees tell us that he was trying to use a 73-year-old woman as his co-signer, while claiming to make $140,000 per year as a Vice President of a company. The employees at the dealership claim the 73-year-old appeared to be in poor health and confused.

    According to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office he has not been booked yet, but he will be charged in connection to three fraud offenses.

    The kid has a bright future ahead of him. By our count, he’s been arrested three times and he’s only 19 years old.
