  • “Follow the Money.”

    We’ve all heard rumors of Clintoon’s . . . interesting financial dealings.  And we’ve heard rumors that her campaign has received money from overseas donors who aren’t US expatriates – which would in general be against US election laws.

    Well, how much are we talking about?  Glad you asked.

    According to Zero Hedge, maybe 20% of her campaign funds – from that liberal democracy called “Saudi Arabia” alone, according to the Saudi Crown Prince.   And that doesn’t include possible other foreign “donations”.

    Well, what about while she was SECSTATE?  Did the Clintoon Foundation receive any foreign donations then that might be questionable during that time frame?

    Glad you asked about that, too.  It seems that the Clintoon Foundation has recently revised its Federal income tax filings for the period 2010 to 2013 three times – with two of those revisions occurring within the past 8 months.

    The last revision was in January of this year.  And it included a curious addition:  a new line of text stating that “All other government grants came from foreign governments.”

    The text appears on each of the 4 years Federal tax returns.  The amount apparently referenced by that line?  Oh, a mere pittance – “only” $17.7M per year.

    Interestingly, while the Clintoon Foundation’s tax filings were updated in January to show the above foreign donations, the Clintoon Foundation website still doesn’t reflect that fact.  Go figure.

    Yeah, nothing to see here, folks.  Just more      apparently corrupt wheeling and dealing        business as usual for the Clintoons.

    Now, maybe I’m just unduly suspicious.  But to me, it certainly sounds like either “pay for play” or “payment for services rendered”.  And I’d love to hear the Clintoon’s explanation regarding the Saudi Crown Prince’s claims.

    Still:  the money is good.  Nice work if you can stomach it I guess.

  • More “Good News” for Ms. Clintoon

    We now have a couple more news items related to the Clintoon email scandal.  And as usual, for “the ‘Wonder Woman’ of Benghazi” (e.g., you wonder what in the hell she’s been smoking every time she talks about Benghazi), the news isn’t at all good.

    First:  it seems the State Department IG will shortly release its investigative report concerning the Clintoon email issue.  It says that Clintoon (1) knowingly disregarded DoS email policy while serving as SECSTATE by using a private email server for public business without proper authority; (2) that her private email server was effectively unsecured and was attacked on at least one occasion; and (3) failed to turn over official records to the government as required by law on departing office.

    In short, it says pretty much exactly what I’ve been saying here previously – less the potential criminal aspect of the conduct.  However, there’s a good reason the State Department didn’t cover that part.  That aspect is doubtless being examined in detail as part of the FBI’s ongoing and parallel investigation into the same issue.

    But don’t take my – or the media’s – word for it.  Read the DoS IG report for yourself here.

    Second:  in a separate but related matter, the hacker “Guccifer” pleaded guilty in Federal court the other day to two counts of computer crime.  This is the same guy who claimed that he’d broken into Clintoon’s effectively unsecured email server – the same server later determined to have stored over 2,000 classified items, some at the TS/SAP and/or TS/compartmented level.

    This also isn’t exactly good news for Ms. Clintoon.  Why?  Because apparently Guccifer made a plea deal which requires him to cooperate with Federal LE authorities concerning his hacking activities.  I’m guessing that hearing about that deal did not exactly “make her (Clintoon’s) day”.

    Hmm.  Wonder how Ms. Clintoon looks in black & white stripes?  Or an international orange jumpsuit?

  • Robert Brooks news

    Robert Brooks news

    Bob Brooks

    We first wrote about Robert E. Brooks last year when someone sent us his records. It looked as though he had pumped up his records while he was still on active duty, even though his records didn’t need any embellishment. After a year of denying any shenanigans, he finally pleaded guilty in court this Spring to fabricating much of his military awards records. He faces a year in jail, but the judge, Stephanie Rose, was contemplating probation instead of jail. Well, as part of his pre-sentencing conditions, he couldn’t have guns in his home. Brooks didn’t seem impressed by those terms;

    On Tuesday, he admitted to federal Judge Stephanie Rose that, while awaiting sentencing, he had failed to comply with a court order requiring him to get rid of his guns. Prosecutors said probation officers made several home visits and, in late April, discovered about two dozen firearms, “thousands of rounds of ammunition” and smoke grenades.

    Prosecutors argued Mr. Brooks should have his pretrial supervision revoked. Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard Westphal said the violation deserved a contempt sanction from the judge and a two-day weekend jail sentence. Mr. Brooks had an “over 30-year pattern of providing false information about his military record” and continued to lie even after he was caught, Mr. Westphal said.

    Smooth move, Exlax. When the judge is trying to help you out, you probably shouldn’t moon her. So, the judge sentenced him to home confinement with an ankle bracelet and 20 hours of community service before his sentencing in August. I really want to stop writing about this guy, but he keeps screwing up.

    Rene Quintana; Illegal alien steals vet’s ID for fun and profit

    Rene Quintana

    Instinct sends us a link to KGUN that tells the story of Rene Quintana, a man who has been in this country illegally for more than 50 years – he stole the identity of Ruben J. Gallardo, a veteran who has been dead since 1994, in order to get Social Security and Veterans Affairs’ benefits;

    Under that name, police say, he got an Arizona identification card, a state health card, a Phoenix health plan card and a VA choice card. The VA choice card was given to veterans in response to long delays in getting medical care from VA hospitals. It allows veterans to get medical care at Non-VA facilities.

    He also received Social security benefits under the name Ruben Gallardo.

    Quintana received benefits totaling $29,062.19.

    Meanwhile, real veterans are queued up to get enrolled in the VA, to get what they earned, like they’re at Space Mountain.

    McAuliffe is target of FBI investigation

    McAuliffe-HIllary-Clinton-AP

    Here’s a surprise, a Clintonista, the carpetbagger governor of Virginia from Syracuse, is the subject of an investigation being conducted by the FBI and the Justice Department according to CNN. This won’t surprise you either; it involves Chinese money that may have been donated to his gubernatorial campaign;

    Among the McAuliffe donations that drew the interest of the investigators was $120,000 from a Chinese businessman, Wang Wenliang, through his U.S. businesses. Wang was previously delegate to China’s National People’s Congress, the country’s ceremonial legislature.

    “Neither the Governor nor his former campaign has knowledge of this matter, but as reported, contributions to the campaign from Mr. Wang were completely lawful,” said Elias.

    It has a 90s feel to it doesn’t it?

    Thanks to Mick for the link.

  • Christy Russell sentenced for VA fraud

    Christy Russell sentenced for VA fraud

    Christy Russell

    Associated Press reports that forty-one-year-old Christy Russell was sentenced to pay back more than $32, 000 that she stole via credit card from 55-year-old Steven Reis, an Air Force veteran, while he was a-moulderin’ in a shallow grave beneath his home for nine months. She was also sentenced to four years in prison.

    Authorities aren’t sure how Reis came to be buried underneath a vacant Dayton home.

    Reis’ body was discovered in September and authorities believe he died in January 2015. Police said in a statement that an autopsy couldn’t determine his cause of death.

    There were four other people living in the home and Russell was his caretaker. No one called 9-1-1 when he died. The police couldn’t figure out who buried him under the house so the only thing they could prosecute was the theft.

  • More News About the Clintoons

    Well,time for a recap of recent info about Clintoon and her email issues.  And we have some other recemt news about that “fine upstanding individual” and others around her, too.

    (Yeah, that part in quotes in the preceding para is satire – as is some of the commentary about Wasserman Schultz below.  That should be obvious as hell.  However, at least one of our frequent commenters often appears unable to recognize satire unless it’s explicitly flagged as such.  I thus elected to do so.)

    First:  Ms. Clintoon recently claimed that the FBI was merely conducting a “security inquiry” into that unauthorized and marginally-if-at-all secured “private e-mail server” that she used after flatly refusing to use official government email systems for official business.  (Yes, that’s the same e-mail server that has been confirmed to have contained over 2,000 classified items, some of which were classified Top Secret and were either compartmented or SAP material.)  Well, unfortunately for her, she didn’t coordinate that      baldfaced lie       account with FBI Director James Comey before publicly telling it.  Comey flatly contradicted Clintoon’s assertion, stating outright that the FBI is indeed conducting an investigation relating to the matter – not some type of “security inquiry”.

    However:  fear not, Clintoon fans!  That paragon of truth and sincerity, the DNC Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is positive . . . that Clintoon is NOT a target of that FBI investigation.  She recently said exactly that in an interview.

    Sure, Debbie.  And I’m the Emperor of China, too.

    Geez.   Why in the hell do you think the FBI is interviewing all her closest aides before interviewing her, Debbie?  It’s called “building a case”, you ditz!

    It now appears that refusing to use government email systems – then having classified information sent to her on a private server not authorized for receipt of same – aren’t the only security corners that Clintoon cut while SECSTATE.  Seems she also on occasion refused to use secure voice communications systems as well, directing subordinates to call her on a private device in order to have a sensitive conversation.

    It also appears that the “hits” aren’t limited to Ms. Clintoon, either.  Remember a couple of years ago, when Clintoon’s husband – cigar-and-intern-lover “Slick Willie” himself – was reported to have flown “a few times” with a reputed wealthy perv and pedophile to various locations (some OCONUS) on said individual’s private jet?  Well, it turns out that aircraft logs show he in fact did that on far many more occasions than initially reported – on over 22 occasions, to be precise, vice the 11 that were originally reported by the press.  (And yeah – that last linked article does describe stuff that seems pretty damn sordid to me.)  On at least 5 of the trips, Willie apparently also managed to ditch his security detail while traveling with that “fine fellow”.

    Nice people.  Maybe they should go into public service.

    After all:  they’re apparently quite experienced at “servicing” the American public.

  • Eulalio Tordil arrested

    On Thursday, 62-year-old Eulalio Tordil, an officer with the Federal Protective Service, murdered his wife, a science teacher in the parking lot of a suburban high school in Prince George County, Maryland. His wife had a protective order against him, and the FPS says that they took his duty weapon and badge and had him assigned to administrative duties since the order went into effect.

    That didn’t stop him from tailing his wife when she went to pick their children from school and confronting the woman. When a passerby tried to intervene in that confrontation, Tordil shot him in the shoulder and then turned the weapon on his wife, firing several times (witnesses say they heard four shots) until she was dead.

    While police were looking for him, Tordil went on to shoot three more people in Montgomery County, Maryland, one of whom died. He was finally arrested yesterday at the site of one of the kill zones of the “DC Beltway Snipers” John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo. Tordil was apprehended as he left the same restaurant where Muhammad and Malvo planned their first murder. Muhammad shot ten people to cover for his intended murder of an estranged wife. Tordil seems to have been working that plan in reverse.

    Anyway, here’s the video of Tordil’s arrest;

    The last murder and his arrest all happened down the road from where we used to live before we moved to West Virginia.
