    Malachi Love-Robinson; phony doctor arrested again

    Malachi Love-Robinson

    Last month we talked about Malachi Love-Robinson an 18-year-old who was arrested for practicing medicine without any training for the second time – the first time, he’d pretended to be a gynecologist, the second for being a pretend-holistic charlatan. Well, according to Inside Edition, he’s been arrested again, just days after a judge ordered him to seek help;

    Love-Robinson was arrested Tuesday by Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies on charges he stole $34,504 from the elderly woman he was treating during home visits.

    Love-Robinson did not speak Wednesday and did not enter a plea.

    Deputies said the teen allegedly used the stolen funds to make car and credit card payments. He faces one count of larceny and five counts of using another person’s identification without consent, records show, according to the Sun Sentinel.

    Phonies just can’t stop being phonies.

    Joseph Chamblin was one of the Marine snipers who was in the video a few years back of him and his squad urinating on dead insurgents. So, he got out of the Marines and started dating this Laura Ann Buckingham woman in Tennessee. Soon after they started dating, they got engaged and Buckingham, who shared custody of her son with Bradley Sutherland in Indiana, began soliciting Chamblin to kill Sutherland. Chamblin reported her behavior to the police. From the Marine Corps Times;

    She allegedly paid an undercover agent with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation to kill Sutherland, who lives in New Albany, Indiana, the Sentinel reported. The two have a 3-year-old son together, according to the sheriff’s office release.

    “[Buckingham] acted with intent to complete a course of action that would constitute the offense of premeditated murder by hiring and paying another to kill Bradley Sutherland and thereby taking a substantial step toward the commission of that offense,” the release states.

    Chamblin, who shared a rental home with Buckingham, became concerned after she allegedly asked him about killing Sutherland several times, the Sentinel reported.

    “She stated to him that since he was in the military maybe he had some friends that could do this for him,” a police incident states, according to the Sentinel.

    Yeah, we veterans really don’t know anyone who does a murder for hire thing – most of the people we know are decent human beings – and the former sniper, Joseph Chamblin embodies that. We also don’t toss coconut IEDs in your yard or screws in your driveway. We also know nothing about UFO, chupacabra or Big Foot cover-ups.

    If it needed to be said, WATE reports;

    Chamblin said he and Buckingham were no longer dating.

    Prince William County police officer murdered

    Ashley M. Guindon

    The sad news came out yesterday that Prince William County police officer and Marine Corps reservist Ashley M. Guindon was murdered Saturday night by an active duty non-commissioned officer who worked at the Pentagon. Guindon took her oath to become a police officer on Friday afternoon. Also injured in the confrontation were officers Jesse Hempen, 31, and David McKeown,33 with eight and ten years on the job respectively. The gunman also murdered hi wife in front of their 11-year-old son. The boy had escaped and ran to a neighbor’s house without any injuries.

    From the Washington Post;

    The incident began shortly before 5:40 p.m. Saturday, when the officers responded to a house in the 13000 block of Lashmere Court in Woodbridge. Prince William Police Chief Stephan M. Hudson said Hamilton and his wife had been involved in a day-long verbal altercation that escalated physically.

    Hamilton allegedly opened fire as the officers made their way to front door.

    Hudson said police were still investigating whether Hamilton shot from inside or outside the home and the position of the officers when they were struck by bullets. It’s also unclear how many shots were fired or whether officers fired.

    Police said additional officers arrived on the scene and surrounded the house. Hamilton surrendered without further incident and Hudson said they found his wife’s body inside.

    The gunman was employed at the Joint Staff Support Center at the Pentagon. The Commonwealth’s Attorney Paul Ebert says that he’ll be seeking the death penalty in this case. The gunman is facing charges of capital murder, first-degree murder and malicious wounding.

  • Another Marine assaulted on streets of nation’s capital

    The Washington Times reports that the night Christoper Marquez was assaulted outside a Northwest DC MacDonald’s another Marine and Iraq War veteran was assaulted and left for dead on the streets of DC.

    Cpl. Michael Schroeder, 35, was walking home after having drinks with some friends that Friday night when he was struck from behind. His body was dragged between two cars where he was left face-down, head bashed-in and missing cash as temperatures dipped into the teens.

    […]

    Cpl. Schroeder says he does not remember the attack, but his family told reporters he suffered a fractured skull and a severe concussion; there were head staples, convulsions, fevers; and he could hardly speak after the attack.

    Nearby security camera footage shows Cpl. Schroeder walking near Wisconsin Avenue NW before 2 a.m. He is then seen cutting through a parking lot to 37th Street NW, but after he turns the next thing he remembers is ambulance lights.

    Luckily, a father and son saw his motionless body and called police for assistance.

    Artur Samarin Picture-1 (2)

    Pat sends us a link to Fox News which tells the story of Artur Samarin, a 23-year-old Ukainian who had overstayed his visa, so he decided to pretend that he is Asher Potts, a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania honors high school student;

    Police say he pretended to be Harrisburg High School student Asher Potts, who had a 4.16 grade-point average and was in the National Honor Society. Samarin was actively involved at the school, working with a student advisory group on a food bank, and a member of the school’s [Junior]ROTC and Naval Sea Cadet programs.

    Police say he had a Pennsylvania driver’s license in Potts’ name when he was arrested.

    He’s looking at identity theft charges. I wonder where Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been on this guy.

  • Majid Karimi/James Robert Baker; Iranian in the Naval Sea Systems Command

    Bobo sends us a link to the Navy Times which tales the story of James Robert Baker, an Iranian who became a naturalized US citizen and went to work as an engineer in the Naval Sea Systems Command for thirty years or so. He had access to military secrets while secretly maintaining his Iranian passport and receiving money from sketchy sources to a number of bank accounts and in possession of a number of social security numbers;

    In July, authorities searched Baker’s home in Springfield, Va., and discovered a Maryland driver’s license under the name Majid Karimi and seized the key to a safe-deposit box located at a bank in Vienna, a few minutes’ drive from his home. Not long after agents arrived at the bank, an incensed Baker walked in demanding the bank give him immediate access to his safe deposit box. The agents told Baker to have a seat while they executed the warrant.

    When they opened the box they found three Iranian passports — two expired and one active, the last issued in 2012 — under the name Majid Karimi with Baker’s photograph on them.

    Authorities also found four different social security cards dating back to July 6, 1979 — two under the name James Robert Baker and two under Majid Karimi with addresses in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Furthermore, Karimi had driver’s licenses and ID cards from Virginia, Maryland, Texas, Delaware and New Jersey.

    It looks like he came to the US in 1979 (the same year as the Islamic Revolution took control of Iran) and he became a naturalized citizen in 1985, the same year he went to work for the Naval Surface Warfare Command as a civilian. There’s much more to the story at the link – including a butt-load of unanswered questions.

  • Leland Yee sentenced

    Leland Yee sentenced

    Leland Yee

    Nearly two years ago California State Senator and gun-grabber Leland Yee was arrested for conspiring to traffic firearms with organized crime. According to the San Jose Mercury News, Yee was sentenced to five years in prison today.

    Dressed in a dark suit, a somber Yee had urged the judge to give him leniency, describing how he’s “ashamed” of his crimes and hoping to make amends to family and supporters. “I have taken full responsibility for my actions and crimes I have committed,” Yee said, his voice breaking. “That will haunt me the rest of my life.”

    Yeah, I was shocked, too. But the prosecutor had asked for eight years, so he got off pretty easy, but still it’s more than I expected. The defense had asked for 3 months to 5 years.

    I figured he’d get about 50 hours of community service to be served over the next ten years. I guess Californians take gun smuggling seriously.

    Bobo sends us a link to WUSA‘s report that two seventeen-year-olds have been arrested in the assault on Christopher Marquez several days ago in Northwest DC;

    Police said one 17-year-old male and one 17-year-old female were involved in the attack. The male was charged with aggravated assault and the female was charged with robbery.

    Christopher Marquez, who served in the Marine Corps from 2003 to 2011, told police he was assaulted while eating at a McDonald’s.

    Marquez said he believes the February 12th attack was racially motivated.

    I’m surprised actually. I never thought that the Metro PD could summon enough energy to catch any of them. Now, if the judiciary would step up and do their part.
