But, let’s put this in context. VoteVets is a supposed national organization of millions of vets and supporters that really has it’s finger on the pulse of the country.
So they go after a state rep from NH? I was going to do my own math, because I actually knew this little factoid, but I wanted to share something from wiki:
The New Hampshire House of Representatives is the lower house in the New Hampshire General Court. The House of Representatives consists of 400 members coming from 103 districts across the state, created from divisions of the state’s counties. On average, each legislator represents about 3,300 residents. If the same level of representation were present in the U.S. Congress, that body would have approximately 99,000 members, according to current population estimates. Members are paid a salary of $200 per biennium, as are New Hampshire State Senators.
So, this ultra powerful VoteVets has picked a fight with a dude who represents 3,000 people? This from the same group that endorsed a Congressman who went on to sexually harrass his employees, and VoteVets stood by and said jack shit?
Wow, they sure are powerful. Don’t look directly at them, they can make you disappear. Like Costra Nostra they are.
Poll below the fold.
The past 48 hours+ have been “let’s kick TSO in the nards” type days. I had about 260 people yelling at me on my other blog yesterday, have had more angry emails and phone calls in two days than the preceding 200, and even had one guy tell me to “pull [my] head out of [my] ass and start supporting America.”
Therefore, it was of no surprise that when I posted a picture of my Aerogarden on my desk at work two days ago, speculation immediately ran rampant about my sexual orientation. For the record, I have the greatest job, and the greatest office in the entire world. It is quiet, it is dark, I overlook a really nice mall area with numerous war memorials, and I have two (Two? /Kasey Kasim) Aerogardens, with a flower and herb mixture.
Talk about your Monday from hell. Not only did Bridgett Nickerson Boyd‘s car break down on her way to work, but when she pulled over to the side of the freeway, a sheriff’s deputy named Mark Goad pulled behind her, wrote her a ticket for driving on the shoulder, decided to arrest her, followed her to the hospital when her suddenly racing heart prompted a call to paramedics, then took her into custody again after she was treated by doctors and finally drove her to jail.
To make matters worse, Boyd claims in a lawsuit that the handcuffs were put on her wrists painfully tight and that she was forced to listen to conservative broadcaster Rush Limbaugh “make derogatory comments about black people” all the way to the jail. Boyd is African-American.
Because of the incident, which occurred on Oct. 4, 2010, Boyd filed a federal lawsuit Monday against Goad and Harris County alleging defamation, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, assault and battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
Anyway, lawyer types out there, anyone have access to her claim? Would love to read through it…
ALL NEW: Ok my digital ninjas, let us regroup to what we know. First off, we know that this was said:
OK? Well that story sets off lots of bells and whistles.
Next up, we know from the Marine AKO this:
We also know that…Another Marine checks in to say that there is an MP at Camp Futenma in Okinawa…the LCPL.
So, apparently he *might* be an MP, but have you ever heard of one leading 48 Marines? Nah, I didn’t think so. And an MP that has posts up lauding the positive side effects of pot? Another good career move!
Now, if you go here to the original source you can track to his Facebook pages, which has the hefty chap I had picture up about. Go look around at his page. Is it him? Is it some other dude? It’s all confusing.
Add in that the email address associated with that one links to a MySpace account that appears to be a much skinnier dude, and which does have a picture of a guy in Marine Cammies.
Now, what does that add up to? I have no clue.
As I noted earlier:
I sent Joshua a PM in Facebook and told him to tell me what his rank and MOS were, and that Marine records did not corroborate his story. I told him that if the records are wrong, he should let me know, otherwise I would do my part to make him as famous as I could. He chose to remain silent.
So, after regrouping, and getting the known knowns, the known unknowns, and looking at the unknown unknowns, what does all of this mean?
I leave it to you guys, as I have to do some work tonight, but I am perplexed.
Unsurprisingly perhaps, Soup Sandwich (always a crowd favorite) is currently up 82/13 over heavy drop.
Snake eyes is currently outpacing Gunny Lauve 53.5/46.5
Sealy McChippendale himself is trouncing fellow SEAL Salhem Dreasden 66/33.
And the big upset, the REAL LIAM NEESON is up over The Anonymous Awesomest SEAL 65/35.
This is the last day, who will proceed on to the non-Elite Eight?

Total crock of shit, but y’all knew that from minute one.
You might recall from the other day that the Occupy Indy thugs said that the goal of their single file line idiocy was:
Remain standing in a group of 5 or more and they can take us to jail, but if we are each in motion and still together in a single file line it will disrupt regular foot traffic in the target area, making it difficult for the 1% and their minions to conduct their business.
Well, that post has gone down the memory hole. But what makes it all the more fun is that hippie spokesdouche Joh Padgett talked to the local NBC affiliate. And lookee here:
Joh Padgett checked out Veterans Memorial Park Tuesday to scout how to set up Saturday’s protest. He’s on the organizing committee for Occupy Indianapolis.
“We want to show support. We want to air our grievances that are definitively Hoosier-flavored grievances,” he said.
“We do not meant to disrupt their lives, but we have to, because they are working in support positions of the one percent,” Padgett said. The Occupy Wall Street protest turned ugly, with a number of arrests. Cameras recorded confrontations between protestors and police. After Saturday’s rehearsal, Occupy Indianapolis will target downtown buildings and block people from entering and leaving.
“For example, if we target Chase Tower, then we would have a single-file line of people blocking the entrance to Chase Tower,” Padgett said. Police won’t talk about the Occupy Indy protest, but did reveal they are holding meetings at police headquarters about the event, which organizers hope will be arrest-free. “We don’t want any violence, we don’t want any disruption. We don’t want to obstruct traffic, we simply want to disrupt traffic,” Padgett said.
But oh, that is so yesterday. Since then, they shitcanned the earlier post, and put up this bit of nonsense:
It is Occupy Indianapolis’ goal to violate no laws in our upcoming actions. During an interview on WTHR-TV, channel 13 in Indianapolis, Occupy Indianapolis spokesman Joh Padgett did not say the organization would block access to any building. During reporter comments on the story it was reported Padgett said we would “Block” entrances to buildings. That is a violation of law, and Padgett at no time stated we would block any entrance or exit from any building. The “People mover” strategy is a continually moving, single file line of people. This is within the confines of local law. We will, at no time, prevent anyone from entering or exiting any building, nor will we at any time interfere with vehicular traffic along our route.
That is of course blatent horseshit. It was their intent to disrupt pedestrian traffic, they states as much on their blog, then their spokesman said as much, and then the disavowed what they had written, removed it from the internet, disavowed what their spokesman said, and then forced the TV channel to append their article to add this:
Note: In our original story, we stated that protesters planned to block workers from entering buildings. This is incorrect, according to organizers, and we apologize for the error.
So, what could have possibly changed? Well, seems the dumb ass hippies finally got around to looking up the law that I had looked up last week regarding criminal confinement. We know this because of a post they put up to replace their asinine “People Mover Single File Line Plan of Awesomeness” post.
Do not congregate in front of buildings and do not block people from entering or exiting buildings. Do not obstruct people from passing by you and impairing his/her rights from passing by you.
In other words: Do not obstruct flow of traffic on streets or sidewalks!!!
A direct quote from a National Lawyer’s Guild attorney: “When, and if, they disrupt safe and efficient flow of traffic on either, police may intervene to protect public safety.”
Stupid dirty assed hippies got themselves a communist front lawyers group to help them out. How all you Paulians feeling about joining them now, eh?
BTW- You should also go listen to my buddy Abdul, as he interviews Hippie Spokesdouche.
