  • What we know about General Ballduster McSoulpatch (Education)

    Continuing on….

The Education is the real funny part. And I mean funny like a red hot poker in the arse (a la Mel Brooks) not “ha ha” funny.

    CLAIMS:

    Assumption University

MS / Study Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (MSCP) , Business Psychology , 1995 — 1997

Activities and Societies: Volleyball Team, Mensa International

Again, right in the middle of his Army Career, they send a Intelligence guy (or linguist, or infantry guy) to school for Psychology. I found “Assumption College” in Mass, but that would be weird, since he has no Massachusetts mailing addresses. There are two “Assumption Universities.” One fits well with the rest of his narractive, Assumption University of Thailand. However, it would be an odd place for a Buddhist Monk to attend:

In loyalty to its Christian mission, Assumption University stands for

the inculcation of respect for the three institutions of the Nation: Religion, Country, the King and a democratic way of life.
the belief that a man justifies himself and his existence by the nobility of his work.
the commitment to be a light that leads men towards the true source of all knowledge and life.

    CLAIM:

John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School
    Graduated , SERE, PSYOPS & Strategic Intelligence , 1994 — 1995

Activities and Societies: Yes, I was both Active & Social here. (That’s a hint that if you wish to know more of what I did there, please ask me in private.)

    In a word, BWAHAHAHAHAHA.

I also have been to the JFKSWCS. I took a tour of the facility. Nice place. The Man Who Sees Elephants was listed as living in California during this time period. I contacted the JFKSWC and spoke with a PAO who is attempting to verify his claims. I do have an adsress listed associated with him from Feb 1995-Jan 1997 that is in Carrboro, NC, but that is an hour and 24 minute one way trip. The address thing isn’t always an exact science, so working on it.

Do I take that Activites and Societies thing to mean he was also graduating Magna Cum Laude from Bone Smuggler University? I assume so, but who knows. I am assuming his memory of SERE is like the memory seered into John Kerry’s memory.

    CLAIM:

    Purdue University
    BS , Psychology with Minor in Linguistics , 1988 — 1993

Activities and Societies: Mensa International. Delta Chi Fraternity. Instructor, Purdue Aikido Club. Volleyball Club Sport Team, Master’s Swim Team.

OK, so once again, more school, no military. Apparently he spent his 20 years in the military hopping to different schools. I will run his timeline in the next full post, just so you can keep track.

The dates on this match. I have addresses all over the West Lafayette region. I believe someone is trying to verify that part now.

    CLAIM:

    Defense Language Institute
    BA , German. Tested out of French, Italian & Thai , 1984 — 1985

Activities and Societies: 1985 Soldier Of The Year, U.S. Army – Defense Language Institute
Special Operation Forces w/ a speciality in Personal Protection Details, Intelligence and PSYOPS (Psychological Operations)

OK, so a bunch of commenters said you couldn’t test out of languages like that then. I have no clue. I don’t have mailing addresses that far back on his background. I contacted the DLI Alumni Association. They haven’t been particularly helpful yet, but working on it. If I had to guess, I would say he did go to DLI. Either way, Special Ops doesn’t run shit out of DLI according to everything I read.

Now, he doesn’t claim Stanford on his Linked In site. But he does on his Friendster site:

    College/University:

    Stanford University, Attended 1999 – 2005, Class of 2005, Ph.D., Bio-Psychology

Seems odd to leave that out, no? I mean, wouldn’t your doctorate be something you listed on your professional page, and less so on your personal one? If I was looking for a job, I would list Law School at GMU over Mt Everett Regional High School. Maybe I am just wacky that way.

Anyway, someone asked, so looking at his record, I find addresses in Stanford and San Jose during the time he is claiming to have been at Stanford. Hoping someone can research that for me and see if they can find anything.

I just heard from the Spec Ops folks, I need a SSN, working on that. I have most of it already, but missing last 4. I believe I should have shortly.

My next post will be a time line of his claim. Should be fun.

Oh, and I have seen the elephant.

But not during the civil war, where I only served as a Drummer Boy in AP Hill’s Brigade, and i hid during the battles, because anything with a prehensile nose needs to be avoided, be it an elephant or Barbra Streisand.

  • What we know about General Ballduster McSoulpatch (Employment)

[NOTE: This post will change as I write it, so keep refreshing occasionally]

OK, I contacted the FBI this morning in Houston, and gave them all the information. I have his name, his aliases, his boyfriends (Husbands?) name (Alvin W.K. Chan, ergo the Chan part to the name) and a full listing of every address since 1987. I don’t have anything before that, but his previous listing is for Norwalk, CT, which matches everything he said about himself.

First, let’s just go down his linkedin profile. I don’t know if it is still up or not, but I have it saved, so if he takes it down, I will recreate it here.

CLAIM: MPMC (His name from here out) claims to be “Presidential Affiliate” GeneWize Life Services Oct 2008-Present.

FACTS: Sniper is tracking down GeneWize for me, but I didn’t find his name anywhere on their site. It does however match his residence stuff. He has lived in the Houston area as far back as February of 2005, which would match one claim later that he got out of the military in 2005.

    UPDATE: Sniper writes:

Took all of an entire two seconds to debunk this one… it’s a scam nutrional supplement company. Check it out.

    http://www.scam.com/showthread.php?t=43565

If you watch their BS You Tube video and then follow the reverse testimonials and experts you see a whole bunch of the same talking heads. The guy isn’t just a sham in his personal life, he’s also a pro-scammer. Can you say “pyramid scheme”?

CLAIM: MPMC was a “Linguist/Educator/Sports Psychologist” for the Beijing Olympics in 2008.

FACTS: Nothing verifies this. The Linguist thing I will discuss later, the Educator is anyones guess, and the “Sports Psychologist” part somewhat matches his education, but bear in mind that at the other site he claimed to get out in February of 2008. If that is the case, he was promoted from LTC to BG between 2004-2008. How he did this while working in Beijing is a miracle. Literally.

CLAIM: MPMC worked as a part of a Personal Security Detail for a US Congressperson from the State of Texas from May 2007-Sep 2007.

FACTS: Working this angle now, there is no way he was PSD for a Republican so, I have someone working on getting me names and phone numbers of Dem Congresspeople from Texas. If I had to guess who he would work for if this were true…. Sheila Jackson Lee. He says “Member of the US Congress” and not “Congressman”. May be nothing, but I will have names and numbers shortly for some enterprising reader to make some calls to see if he ever served for the Member.

LIST (if you call, see if he was on the PSD, be polite):

    Ralph Hall D-Texas (4) 225-6673 2405 RHOB
    Al Green D-Texas (9) 225-7508 236 CHOB
    Rubén Hinojosa D-Texas (15) 225-2531 2463 RHOB
    Silvestre Reyes D-Texas (16) 225-4831 2433 RHOB
    Chet Edwards D-Texas (17) 225-6105 2369 RHOB
    Sheila Jackson-Lee D-Texas (18) 225-3816 2160 RHOB
    Charlie Gonzalez D-Texas (20) 225-3236 303 CHOB
    Ciro Rodriguez D-Texas (23) 225-4511 2351 RHOB
    Lloyd Doggett D-Texas (25) 225-4865 201 CHOB
    Solomon Ortiz D-Texas (27) 225-7742 2110 RHOB
    Henry Cuellar D-Texas (28) 225-1640 336 CHOB
    Gene Green D-Texas (29) 225-1688 2372 RHOB
    Eddie Bernice Johnson D-Texas (30) 225-8885 1511 LHOB

Thanks to Siggurdsson on that INTEL.

OK, Military stuff from his Linked In:

    CLAIMS:

    • 0-5 / LTC US Army
(Government Agency; 10,001 or more employees; USA; Military industry)
    1984 — 2004 (20 years )
Been ALL around the world. I have seen the elephant.
    • Bodyguard / Interpreter / Intelligence Officer
Department of Defense / Departmenf of the Army
    (Military industry)
    November 1984 — November 2004 (20 years 1 month)
Interpreter / Bodyguard: PSD (Personal Security Detail) for several different General Officers (0-7 thru 0-10) Speaker of 9 languages. Been ALL OVER the world. Intelligence and Counter-Intelligence Officer: Situation-specific Intelligence gathering and analysis. Advisor to the Commander-In-Chief (1995-1999) regarding S.E. Asian Affairs, with a specific focus on Thailand, Cambodia & Laos.

    FACTS:
I will now be signing off all emails with “I have seen the elephant.” I have no fahkin clue what it means, but doesn’t it just sound badass?

Still working on this, more later. Nothing in the file indicates this, except a short stint with an MP company in Germany. There is some indication he did go to DLI, will discuss in a minute. Others have brought up serious inconsistencies with having “Tested in” to various languages. Again, will add more at the end, but nothing indicates such a impressive resume. I can’t find jack shit on his being a PSD for Chucky Cheese much less an O10.

    CLAIMS:

    • Vice President of Asian Operations
    Samaya, Inc.
(Privately Held; 11-50 employees; Computer Networking industry)
    July 1997 — February 1999 (1 year 8 months)
VP of Asian Operations. Facilitated meetings between our CEO, President, CFO, COO and Founder with SUN Microsystems, Microsoft, 3-COM, Nortel, Thai Government Agencies and the Thai Royal Family.

FACTS: How the F was he doing this while in the Army? Don’t you think the Army might be leery of a Military Officer advising the Thai Government and Thai Royal Family? I bet by Thai Family he meant Mr. Chan, and/or they discussed shit over Pad Thai. Remember again, this is in the middle of his 20 years in the military.

Here is what Sniper found out, bear in mind that this clowns record DOES VERIFY living in San Jose (45 N 1st Street, #111, San Jose, CA, 95113) from Mar 95-Feb 1999.

Well, as I guessed the trail of this “business” is just as effed up as the rest of this bone-brusher’s history. From what I’ve found “Samaya Inc” based out of San Jose CA is one of those “computer networking companies” that pretty much just takes a subject and then put up a web page with links to things that sound like that subject… in this case, businesses in Bali. The domain has changed name servers 7 times in the past 7 years. Totally stable business model. Here is the best info I have on Samaya so far… probably ever…

Other than that, not much to go on. Oh, and there is the Samaya Tobacco importers in FL and the hotel in Dubai, but I’m guessing that those are also dead-ends.

    This is interesting:

    MORE:

After 20 years in the U.S. Army, I was forced to retire due to the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that forbids gay men and women from serving openly in the US Military.

At the HRC (Human Rights Campaign) Equality Ball at the Mayflower Hotel, those of us who have been a vocal force against this damaging and unconstitutional policy are quite confident that our new Commander-in-Chief President Barack Obama will sign an Executive Order to abolish the “DADT” policy. Yes We Can!
    Peace,

Michael Patrick McManus, Lieutenant Colonel, US Army, Retired

And, more with shifting retirement dates. Don’t you just love a blog swarm?

While stationed in Frankfurt, Germany in 1986, then-Sergeant McManus served as Then-General Colin Powell’s personal bodyguard and interpreter; Sergeant McManus came out of the closet as a gay man in 1993 at a Memorial Weekend Requiem in San Francisco honoring the Unknown Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual Soldiers

U.S. Army Captain Michael McManus revealed that General Colin Powell knew he was gay while McManus was serving as his personal bodyguard, and that it made no difference to the general. While stationed in Frankfurt, Germany in 1986, then Sergeant McManus served as Powell’s bodyguard and interpreter, and it was during that time that Sgt. McManus “came out” to him, confiding to him that he was gay.

According to McManus, Gen. Powell, who was at that time the commander of the U.S. Army Fifth Corps, replied, “What do you want me to do about it? As long as youare doing your job well, that does not matter to me. And you are doing an excellent job.”

Capt. McManus came out of the closet as a gay man publicly on Saturday May 29, 1993 at a Memorial Weekend Requiem in San Francisco honoring the Unknown Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual Soldiers. The event was sponsored by the San Francisco Area chapter of the GLAAD and endorsed by many organizations, including the Alexander Hamilton Post of the American Legion.

McManus chose the San Francisco requiem event as the time to come out publicly because he “can no longer be a part of an organization that promotes and supports such blatant discrimination. It is time for people to realize that sexual orientation is a fundamental part of a person’s identity, just as being Asian or African-American.”

Capt. McManus [in 1993] planned on being vocal about the military’s gay and lesbian ban. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and holds a top secret security clearance. Still fighting the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, Michael retired from the US Army in Feb. 2008 at the rank of LTC (Lieutenant Colonel).

You will notice that this no-talent asclown claims to be buddhist above. Well From the Great Donovan, we find this:

We have received information from the office of HH Dalai Lama that Tenzin Chophak ( Michael Mc Manus) did not have an Audience with His Holiness Dalai Lama on Oct.14 ’99, at which he said he had received the Tsogyal Dzambala Practice, to benefit Land of Medicine Buddha..

While at LMB we gave Tenzin Chophak more than adequate opportunity to improve his work perfomance and in no way was he mistreated.

Interim Directors of Land of Medicine Buddha

So, here is his Facebook page.

  • I won the Dog Naming Fight: Meet Mosby

Sweet. Write down this day folks, the first and likely last one I ever win with Ms Caro. It will likely be General Mosby Pugglesworth IV, but I at least got Mosby in there.

I generally have named my recent pets after Confederate officers. My last sainted pet was “Forrest”. Brown Neck Gaitor also follows the naming convention, with his Australian Cattle Dog named Jeb Stuart. Mosby is named after John Singleton Mosby.
    jsmosby

I won’t go through the entire history of Mosby, but you should at least go read his wiki page. A few brief things about him though. He was basically a Cav ranger who darted in and out, and gave the Northern bastards fits. He was all about the maneuver warfare side of the house. Before the war he killed a man in a fight and went to jail for a year where he taught himself the law. He would eventually become an Assistant Attorney general.

My favorite quote of his is from a letter he wrote in 1907. Although he deeply despised slavery, he fought for the south, and said:

I am not ashamed of having fought on the side of slavery —a soldier fights for his country — right or wrong — he is not responsible for the political merits of the course he fights in … The South was my country.

This is where IVAW peeps will chime in with something dumb, but so be it.

A last few points. Long after the war and his subsequent political jobs, Mosby befriended a young kid, and used to while away the time making up battle plans. That child would become General George S. Patton:

During George’s childhood, one of the best friends of the Patton family was none-other-than Colonel John S. Mosby, the fabled “Grey Ghost” of J.E.B. Stuart’s legendary cavalry. Patton grew up hearing tales of daring raids and stunning cavalry attacks from the Grey Ghost himself. During visits to the Patton Ranch in Southern California, Colonel Mosby would re-enact the Civil War with George; playing himself, he let George play the part of General Lee as they would recount the battles of the war, astride their horses.

These firsthand stories, and horseback re-enactments, directed by one of the greatest Guerilla fighters of all time no doubt had a huge influence on Patton. Both his sense of bravery and duty, and his Guerilla like tactics were no doubt heavily influenced by his early exploits with John S. Mosby.

Several years ago on my birthday I was invited to the oval office to meet with President Bush. At one point the topic of making decisions came up, and in particular the importance of making bold decisions timely. Bush wasn’t really defending himself in any way, merely discussing his thinking on the issue. For some reason he looked at me at the end, and I decided that was a good moment to share my favorite story of Mosby with the President of the United States.

After the war, General Mosby became the Virginia Campaign Manager for Ulysses S. Grant. That’s right, a southerner became the campaign manager for the man who led the forces which defeated his side. He felt that veterans should support other veterans. And this didn’t make him all that popular with Virginians. They burned his house down, attempted to assasinate him, and eventually drove him all the way to California, where he would meet Patton. He didn’t cave into pressure, he did what he felt was right, consequences to himself be damned.

  • Looks like the 3rd HBCT of 3rd ID has a budding Casey Porter

This is a damn fine video.  Would definitely love to see more of this type of thing.

Kudos to the PAO guys. (Wow, that hurt even more than I thought it would.)

  • Free Mass Senate Poster for Martha Coakley

This is a follow up to my earlier advice.

Sam Elliot has some MAD Skillz.

    coak

The horseshoe is for good luck, the 18 represents the 3 senate terms before you run for Pres, and the blue represents your adherence to the Democrats. It’s ok, you can thank me after you win, because I damn well guarantee you that you put these up in Southie then Mass gets the Senator they richly deserve.

[If you think posting that doesn’t give me actual physical pain, you don’t know that I still have nightmares about the Baltimore Bedshitting.]

  • Stop picking on Martha!

    curt

I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.

Now, I am not sure if I am more mad at the fact that everyone is picking on Martha Coakley for being an elitest, or that Curt Schilling reads conservative blogs and not ours. I mean, it’s not like I genuflect before his visage each morning or that I smear kethup on all my socks before every sox game. Anyway, Curt today went after Coakley for her asinine completely justified defense of going to the fuindraiser in DC instead of staying in Mass (it was 13 degrees colder in MA):

As opposed to standing outside Fenway Park? In the cold? Shaking hands?’

Anyway, Curt beats her with the bloody sock of rhetoric:

It shows her elitism and arrogance unbelievably. Aside from the apparent feeling that the seat belongs to her just by virtue of her party, she just admitted that she doesn’t need to bother meeting with constituents because she’s meeting people like Kim Driscoll, and political leaders, and Democrat activists. I guess they’re the ones that matter, huh? I know it’s a “special election” and all, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t need to fight for this seat. Prancing around with this mindset of “Oh, I’m a Democrat, therefore Ted Kennedy’s seat just automatically belongs to me regardless of what the people think,” is idiotic. Acting as if she doesn’t need to give her constituents the time of day is ludicrous. She can make all the snide remarks about Scott Brown shaking hands with people in the cold that she wants, but that’s what you’re supposed to do when you’re trying to get elected. She seems to have forgotten that she’s trying to get elected in Massachusetts, and not in Washington D.C. — if she remembered that, maybe she’d spend more time trying to impress Massachusetts voters and less time rubbing elbows with the Democrat establishment, Big Pharmacy lobbyists, and union leaders. Most normal politicians, Republican or Democrat, do go shake hands with voters. Even if it means standing in the cold outside of Fenway Park.

Anyway, I just got off the phone with Brown Neck Gaitor, and we agreed that this smear campaign must end. And so, as a native Massachusian (from the mighty village of Clayton in New Marlborough) I give you my surefire ways to get back in touch with the blue collar folks from my state:

    * Sports are everything. You need to go to the Island of Hull, and hold a press conference. There apologize for yesterday’s comments, and hit on the following points:

    – Bill Buckner is a proud supporter of your campaign. He has said that he would sell his gold glove to the highest bidder to raise money for your campaign.

    – You still get a tear in the eye when you remember how in 2003 we won the World Series when Aaron (fucking) Boone hit that home run to bring home the title. The way Eric Gagne gritted through the year to end with a Cy Young award and an MVP award. Hell, I have tears in my eyes right now.

    – You think that Celtics Point Guard Wes Welker was really brave for the way he came out of the closet. This will endear you to both Teh Gheys and Celtics fans.

    – You still think that Jack Tatum got a bad rap, and you intend to reopen the case against him immediately. It is unfair that folks call him assassin.

    – Tuck rule has got to go. No more of that bullshit like Oakland pulled against us a few years ago.

    – Also:

    * Hit on some pop culture.

    – Boondock Saints is one of the worst movies ever, for the way it portrays Irish Americans in a bad light.

    – Your favorite bands are all from Boston: Kansas, Air Supply and Brooks and Dunn. You used to listen to Dropkick Murphy’s until you found out they were from Buffalo.

    – You rarely go to see plays, but when you do, it is ALWAYS, No ,No, Nanette, because that was the play that brought the babe to Boston.

    – The worst songs in the world are “Dirty Water” and “Sweet Caroline.” Trust me, Bostonians HATE those songs.

    * You should use the phrase “cue the duckboats” with regard to your campaign. It is slang for, “we are fighting and have not got this wrapped up yet.”

    * Even though the Big Dig never struck oil or found Weapons of Mass Destruction, you still believe it was the right move.  Now of course it looks bad, and so we shouldn’t do it again.  ie You were for it before you were against it.

    * At somepoint just drop in there that you were named the “Smokeshow of the Day” by BarstoolSports.com because you work so hard at politics.

Whatever you do, make SURE you contact “Boston Maggie” and arrange to hold a presser on that famed ship the USS Constipation, (aka Old Ironballs.) Maggie loves you. Just ask her. This will pull in the anti-war activists.

Anyway, anyone else have any suggestions to help her out?

JAG brought this up, which I had not heard, but LOVE. I mean really, who DOESN’T love Flutie?

  • Meet Professor Habanjero T. Pugglesworth IV

Sorry for all the personal type posts of late, but here at TAH we are very dog friendly.  And this will be the latest addition to TAH Mid West operations:

Yup, the GF is moving here to scenic Indy in late February, and we wanted to get a dog to keep her company during the day since she will be working from home. I wanted a Rottweiler, she wanted a chihuahua. Somehow in her mind we agreed on a puggle. I said fine, as long as it was a girl dog. I don’t want to be petting my dog and all of a sudden accidentally graze a ding dong. Well, I lost that fight as well. But, he is adorable, and he needs a home because the couple that owns him now is having a third kid, and the dog needs more attention. He is 1 1/2 years old, and at least looks precious. Mind you he’s probably like Cujo and takes Rhino sized dumps, but so it goes.

As for the name, I wanted a female dog and she was going to be named Mrs Pepper Pugglesworth. “Pepper” was the name of my pet goat that some blind people killed when I was like 10. Anyway, I wanted to honor my pet Pepper by naming the dog after her, but Caro tells me that Pepper is a girls name. And, last thing I need is a gay dog, especially if I graze a ding dong. Because grazing a gay dogs ding dong makes you de facto as gay as Superbowl 6 Romeo.

Now, since calling him all that is a bit of a mouth full, we are batting around shorter names. Caro like Pugsley, which reminds me of “Muttley”:
