California LEOs have arrested a man in connection with the 8 October stabbing of USAF SSgt Spencer Stone. Stone was one of the three US citizens who thwarted the recent French train terror attack by taking down an armed assailant barehanded. (Two other French citizens – one of whom was American-born – attempted to stop the terrorist bastard prior to that point but were disabled during their struggles.)
The man arrested was James Tran, who lives IVO Sacremento, CA. He reportedly has at least one previous felony arrest and known gang connections. However, authorities do not believe the assault on Stone was gang-related.

Stabbed in the back by a gangbanger… how apropos. Little (and big) bastards don’t have enough cojones or self-esteem to be able to hold their heads up without all their similarly challenged buddies around, and are jealous of people who don’t need their loser affiliations.
For stabbing him in the back alone they should give him the “fair trial, followed by a first-class hangin’”

But don’t really care WHY Tran did it, it’s enough to know that he did it. Just drop Tran off in the middle of a gauntlet Stone’s friends and co-workers. Poof! Karmic justice.

No wonder this story quickly died down its Palestinian infatada in American schools now.
It will be plead down to simple assualt, rather than assault w/deadly weapon. If a witness heard him say, “I am going to kill you”, that will be ignored due to a strong defense and weak prosecution, thus making attempted murder void.
It was the State of Kalifornication that stated the prison released program because some 70 % of their prison pop were ethnic drug dealer types.

Interesting to note that the AF takes a dim view of alcohol related incidents, which this was, and still has promoted Stone. His supervision will have an interesting time handling him in the future…
Once again he was a good boy claim by scum relatives. An injustice department that let him walk, so he could potentially murder someone in the future.
I read the news report. I saw nothing that substantiates your statement.
Instead, what I found is that it was considered an alcohol-fueled incident and Tran didn’t know Stone from Adam.
Ex-PH2, Tran had gang connections and at least one prior felony arrest. Yet he was still “out and about” on 8 Oct. I’m pretty sure that fact is what FC was talking about above.
Yes, I do know that, but there is nothing in that article to indicate that any family member was making a ‘good boy’ claim about him.
Agreed, that was probably conjecture. IMO entirely plausible, though.
