Two intruders kicked the door in a Reidland, Kentucky house. The armed homeowner met them at the point of entry. When the police arrived, they found one of the intruders wounded and laying in the driveway in serious condition and another was DRT (dead right there) in the home.
26-year-old Sedrick Marshawn Williams forced his way into a Walton County, Florida house and attacked the residents with a bottle. The homeowner responded stabbily with a knife and Sedrick was DRT when the police arrived.
In Baltimore, Maryland, 41-year-old William Tucker Mathis violated an order of protection and went to a residence from which he was forbidden – that of his ex-wife and children. He’d violated that order at least five times. Police arrived while he was still there and tussled with him. He strangled one of the officers until, finally they gunned him down. He was DRT.
A suspect in a robbery in Pawtucket, Rhode Island drove himself and his non-life-threatening injuries to the hospital after being wounded in his attempt.

Things didn’t go well for these bad guys. 4 incidents, 5 bad guys, 3 of them Dead Right There, 2 wounded. In only one instance were the police able to get there in time to protect the victims. In all the others, the victims protected themselves, in one instance by stabbing, slicing and dicing the intruder. 3 thug types who will never, ever again, threaten others.
Three DRT’s, three fewer goblins stealing oxygen from productive people.
And not draining taxpayer dollars for three hots and a cot. Way to go, people!
“…responded stabbily with a knife…”
An excellent well turned phrase.
“….and he lived stabbily ever after.”
(which BTW isn’t very long)
Dumbfuck brought a bottle to a knife fight?
Would you expect more from a guy named “Sedrick Marshawn Williams”?
ahhh…the naming conventions inspired by a crack pipe…
Always wonder who pays for the clean-up when someone bleeds out in the middle of the living room. Is this covered by most home-owners insurance? Not usually a DIY project IMHO.
Sorry for the morbidity, but it IS Monday, after all.
Crime scene cleanup is a growing industry. Think of the possible slogans.
“You’ve Seen Our Work On Cops”
“We Are Cleaning Up Crime In Your City”
“They Criminals May Not Have Made A Clean Getaway, But We Will”

That’s why you need to DRT them at the front porch. Water hose and bleach….
Or always keep a tarp near any point of entry. Was it one of the Lethal Weapon movies where the bad guy had a tarp on the carpet in front of his desk in order to handle any “personnel problems”? Psaul always had tarps on the floor at the corporate headquarters of the proud woman owned business formerly located on Wilson Lane, but that was because he had a problem controlling his bladder.
People like the late and unlamented William Tucker Mathis are why we teach our daughters how to shoot.
