Friday morning feel good stories

This morning our stories begin in Merced, California where a homeowner was awakened by an intruder and when he went to investigate, the thief had his arms full of the homeowner’s property. He told the criminal to drop it, instead, the criminal tried to draw his own gun, but the homeowner beat him to the draw. The police found the crook at the hospital getting his wounds treated.

An armed man in Indianapolis, Indiana, forced his way into an apartment. He was confronted by a resident who took the gun away from him and shot the crook. Police took him into custody at the hospital.

In Westland, Michigan, a homeowner was forced to defend himself against three intruders. He shot of the men who was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. His partners were arrested and they’ll probably be charged with his murder now. The homeowner was treated for a leg wound.

  1. I don’t buy the theory of evolution, but the “natural selection” thing has some evidence in its favor right here.

Do stupid things, pay stupid prices.

  2. Today’s armed citizen “batting line” analysis: 5 total perps (PAs), with 1 HR (DOT) and 4 other extra-base hits (2 with involuntary unsanitary high-speed body piercings and 2 incarcerated and pending trial for felony murder).

That’s a 5-for-5 day at the plate with 1 HR plus 4 additional extra-base hits. Impressive.

The guy in Indianapolis might want to get his own sidearm, though. Can’t always depend on a clumsy perp giving you one when you need it.
