Its awful…seriously who the hell green lighted this. Anybody who’s former military and advising on this should be ashamed. Atleast Stripes got some shit right. I guess my big problem is the super fat guy. Eveything else is typical Hollywood, screwing up how the military works.

I thought Andy was funnin’ us so I googled the show. It’s legit. You know how commercials for upcoming TV shows work. They use clips of the best stuff the show offers. So, we’ve seen the highlights. I never cracked a smile. McHale’s Navy was funny. Hogan’s Heroes was funny. Gomer Pyle, USMC was funny. I Dream of Jeannie was funny. Sgt. Bilko was funny. This show is not funny, not even a little bit funny.

Okay, so the only realistic thing I saw was the Italians showing up in camp and taking their shirts off to parade their muscles…I saw that happen once….except they weren’t quite so buff, and our females weren’t quite so impressed.

Here’s a present for you, CH–and anyone else who remembers (or, for that matter, has no clue about) SGT Bilko. in this episode, he meets his match–a WAC. She’s every bit the conniver Bilko is. Classic line from this brown boot Army comedy: “Volunteer? I told you never to use that word in these barracks!”
I don’t know. I like comedies like this. But with all the bad press the Military is getting right now,it might not be a great time for something like this to air. Still looks funny as hell though.

What in the holy hell is this piece of crap? You can definitely tell the disconnect between our civilian counterparts and the military. This is atrocious! An the fact that they are airing in during conflicts that are still going on in the world is truly disgraceful and disrespectful. Hey, I like humor as well as the next guy, but this is grade-A crap! Can’t we ever get any type of military humor that is even close to how things really are? Guess I won’t hold my breath! Hell, even Sgt. Bilko, In the Army Now, Stripes and M.A.S.H. was better than this garbage! Awful! Just plain awful!
