For those of you who held out from subscribing to the Extreme SEAL Experience website, tonight you reap that reward. Don Shipley has put the videos that he made a few months ago on his trip to Fort Myers, Florida on YouTube for the world to see. The subject of the videos, Dan Bernath, tried unsuccessfully last week to blackmail YouTube, LLC into banning Chief Shipley from their services “for life”. You can see, YouTube didn’t take him seriously, you know, like most sane, civilized people on the planet don’t take Dan Bernath seriously in his quest to make his name the punchline of every joke on the planet.
Anyway, Don was deciding whether or not to broadcast these videos. He was giving Bernath a cooling off period. Bernath didn’t take advantage of that break.
Daniel Bernath has no reason to go after Don Shipley, none whatsoever, but he did so for his own aggrandizement. Don never even mentioned Bernath’s name until Bernath started doxing and harrassing the Shipleys.
So, without further ado and including new commentary, here you go, a little over an hour of Daniel A Bernath in all of his glory;
ADDED: Yes, Bernath complained to YouTube that he looks like a pussy in the videos and they yanked them. But, we knew he would. Couldn’t sleep so intended on watching a few minutes of the videos… Ended up watching both in full.
Here are some random observations as a licensed attorney for why Bernath couldn’t cut it as an attorney.
1. Bernath correctly refused to reveal his case in “Bernath v. Seavey.”… Media shows up and Bernath reveals his entire case in “Bernath v. Seavey.”
2. Bernath leaned forward and tried to discreetly call the nice lady a “fat c$@nt” while said media was there… You shouldn’t ever do that, but certainly not when you are in front of the media advocating the seminal case of “Bernath v. Seavey.”
3. Bernath tends to twitch and blink when being misleading or lying… Every time he spoke he twitched and/or blinked. It just perpetuates the stereotype.
4. Bernath tried to intimidate a SEAL by holstering a pistol while also wearing a reflective vest and riding in circles on a bike with a basket… Know your audience.
5. Never place a drunken, incoherent witness on the stand, particularly as your star witness and really when said drunken loon is unprepped… Dallas? Really? Counsellor (disbarred), not a good move. And in the seminal case of “Bernath v. Seavey?”
6. Don’t tout your case as the one to break the whole issue of “self-murder” wide open when it doesn’t work that way.
7. What the hell is self-murder anyway? If that’s a thing, and the media is there, maybe explain it in terms that someone who is not drunk or kooky understands… Or maybe don’t make up terms like that? Oh, The drunken star witness probably isn’t the best person to explain it either. Just sayin.
8. “I misspoke” is not a valid defense after unequivocally arguing a few minutes prior that the misspoken statement was indeed fact.
9. When making your case, don’t ramble and page through clearly doctored papers… And while you’re at it, don’t lie about your photoshop creds… You’ve got to own that sh!t.
10. Getting disbarred is generally frowned upon… Ok, that wasn’t in the video, but you can see it coming.
I haven’t posted much here lately, but thought this was a good one to talk about.

Can’t remember ever wasting 77 minutes of my life listening to blithering idiot such a Danny Boi. Open carry of the weapon revealed cowardice and stupidity once he left his property. Doubt if he has many friends with that shallow personality. He gives no proof that any living being or animal should be shorted air to breathe in order to keep his lying ass alive. If you happen to wear a wig, then yes. I attempted to read one of Bernath’s many lawsuits, which ran dozens of pages, and his “actionable offense” filed against Don Shipley is that he (allegedly) wears a toupee. Seriously.
In case you have not been following this plane wreck (please note that the term “plane wreck is applicable here), Daniel Bernath is a professional litigant. He files multiple lawsuits against anyone and everyone, just to tie them up in court and hope that they settle so that he will go away. Don Shipley and his wife never had anything to do with Bernath getting all of the mentions on Al Gore’s Amazing Internet. But much like The Westboro Baptist Church, Bernath actively seeks innocent victims hoping to provoke them into a physical confrontation or they post something on line that he could sue for. The Shipley’s did not respond. So he continued the relentless attack, culminating in the videos posted above. If I were the Shipley’s, I would have gone the route that Seavey took and sue his stupid ass. But after paying out two judgements so far, that we know of, his insurance carrier probably cut ties with him as too much of a risk. The guy has no money, hiding his assets in his wife’s name, and he has failed as a lawyer, radio host, tour guide and TSA agent. The best that we could hope for is that a judge locks him away with no access to the internet.
I see Daniel A. Bernath as a possible clone of Fred Phelps. Phelps was the “Pastor” of the Westboro Baptist Church as well as a disbarred Attorney in Kansas. Phelps and hid gaggle of inbreds screeched at non-military funerals as well, a high school summer camp friend of mine became an Episcopal Priest who described his run-in with them. He said it was the first funeral he ever officiated at, a young man who was a hemophiliac that contracted AIDS from a tainted transfusion. I’m going to put on my speculation cap here. There have been those who have wondered why his significant other doesn’t just bail on his ass and leave him high and dry.
I’m no psychologist or social worker, but I do know that abusive relationships take many forms; mental, physical, and financial are just a few of them. It wouldn’t surprise me he uses all three to control his current spouse.
So in all this, I actually have to at some level feel sorry for her. Is she a participant in all this? Possibly, but more likely than not an unwilling one. He has probably bullied her into playing along lest she find herself at the end of his wrath, from which she sees no easy escape. This scenario certainly wouldn’t surprise me.

SEA, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some form of abuse in their relationship. Based on Danni-boi’s history, intimidation the tool he uses against people. The thing is, Danni-boi doesn’t like to be confronted about it, as seen in the videos that were taken by Don and Diane. When confronted, he tries (very poorly) to make himself out as being bullied and the “victim”.
It is a shame that his wife can’t get him to stop about the lies. I’m guessing that she may have built up a tolerance to his crap and lets him do it, or she is afraid to confront him about it due to his anger. I’m also guessing that his kids from both marriages are probably glad that they don’t have to deal with the abuse from “Daddy Dearest”. I would hope that someday the daughter would step in and get her mom away from the situation in FL, before it’s too late for her mother.
It would be interesting to find out from wife #1 what it was like to be married to Danni-boi. I’m would venture to guess that he was just as controlling and verbally abusive then as he is now.
Then again, if he transferred all of his assets into her name she could toss him into the street and he would be high and dry.

Vigilantes for exposing fraudulent service records? Not the American way? If I remember correctly, since always the American press has been exposing frauds, liars, cheats, thieves, perverts, et cetera. Dan appears to fit these categories.
Relatively new to TAH and the stolen valor issue, these videos clearly showed me the perfidious nature of these jackals. I’ve been a little on the fence re the SV issue and weighing the pros and cons of going after these pathetic people. Danny boy just convinced me that it is worthwhile to go after them. TAH and Shipleys: I appreciate the education, though it makes me want to vomit.
As JAGC, above, pointed out: know your audience. I would add, know your enemy. I’ve had training for dealing with the media (the audience in this case) and one of the best things you can do to prepare for the media’s coverage of a confrontation like this is to:
1)Thoroughly Research your opponent’s arguments (know your enemy).
2)Make a list of ten snappy, one to two line comebacks refuting opponent’s argument.
3)Memorize the list.
In the confrontation you will be lucky if you get to use two or three of the comebacks, but it is a guaranteed that the press will use whatever it is that you lay out there. The trick is within item #2 in that it takes some thought on how to destroy the opponent’s argument in a sentence or two without tripping yourself up.
In thinking about Dan’s argument of vigilantism and “not the American way” I would have had the following prepared response: So you (Dan) believe when the media exposes frauds, cheats and liars then it is vigilantism and not the American way?
Asking him this question will neatly put the media on your side, exposes the illogic of his argument, and puts Dan on the defensive. Typically when this occurs, the opponent will shift to a personal attack which makes him look small and can easily be demolished with other prepared remarks.
Sorry for the multiple posts, but I’m a little wound up. Dan is the kind of “activist” I would love to debate in front of a camera.

The question begging to be answered is whether Daniel Bernath is a bigger dick or a bigger idiot? That is a tough call. I just scrolled through that link that you posted. What the fuck is a “tea shirt”? Is that a shirt with a Tetley logo on it? He must have hit his head pretty hard when he made that unscheduled landing 200 yards from Sisters Airport. Speaking of which, has his lawsuit against the plane manufacturer gone anywhere? He should amend it and include Don Shipley and the descendants of the Wright Brothers. Daniel A. Bernath does not have a leg to stand on telling people that they, or a part of them, are “fat”. This mentally unstable, narcissistic, child in senior citizen body, etc., should step on a weighing scale, because he’s the very thing that he accuses others to be.

His jumping on a bicycle, and going about in circles like that, serves two purposes. One, he’s stressed out by the confrontation, one that he invited, and is going into his “safe zone”. He looked like a retard while he was at it too. Two, it was his way of trying to be “in control”.
He knew he lost control the moment the Shipley’s showed up at his street, in front of his house. He knows they’re there, but he pedals like a retard, showing the Shipley’s that he’s going to do what he was going to do, not what they wanted him to do.
They way he barged in on the interview with Don Shipley speaks volumes to the fact that Daniel A. Bernath is the very personality that he’s been described on this and on other sites. Daniel A. Bernath is a bully, a toxic individual, who never learned from the negative impact of his behavior and incivilities to others. His actions in that video shows that of a bully.
It’s like I said before… It’d be interesting to see what his NCOERs, and those that served with him, say about him. I won’t be surprised if both indicate the same thing we’ve indicated here.
But remember bernastyass isn’t suppose to be riding a bike, apparently he’s got the disability of not being able to walk without those crutches holding his dumbass up.
