I will be going on TDY for the EFMB at Fort Wainwright for my first attempt at it. We shall see how it goes.

Good luck, Sporkmaster. It’s a tough row to hoe.

Is this a fairly new medical badge? I started out as a 91b then went to 92c (i think), but am not aware of this level.
I got my CMB in 68 in Nam and operating tech in 69 at Beumont.
Sporkmaster, good luck. We have two EFMB holders in my Recruiting company, one is an Airborne Combat Medic that just got selected for promotion to Master Sergeant, the other is a dental assistant who will be retiring in another year or two. If it is anything like the EIB, it is all about attention to detail. Most of the people I know who didn’t earn the EIB no-goed due to being nervous and/or being over confident.

Good luck, Sporkster, and we hope you do well!

Yeah, Spork…You go. That is a tough one! I never tried for it when I should have. What a dummy I was.
Lots of people make it on the first try…I am sure you will, too. Hoo-ah!!

The EFMB was created in 1965. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expert_Field_Medical_Badge

Good luck. I’ve heard that thing is a cold, stone hearted B* to earn.
