A grand lady of pure class in every way. Rest In Peace my dear Nancy Reagan. Thank you for serving alongside your husband.

Always exuded class in my opinion, and loved RR so much. It’s a rare thing now days.

I can’t improve on what others have written here. All I can do is agree. Thank you, Mrs. Reagan.

Same here. Rest in peace, Mrs. Reagan. And, thank you.

Fair winds and following seas, First Lady.

I recall reading a book about Reagan’s presidency years ago. It was noted that many, naturally, wanted in to his inner circle but only one person seemed to be his true confidant- Nancy. Rest in peace together.

RIP, Mrs. Reagan. Go rest high on the mountain.

A First Lady with class, unlike todays First Lady.

    RIP Mrs. Reagan

      ” …unlike todays First Lady.”

      – My thought exactly. Alas …

Everything she’s done, put up with rotten kids, married to her soulmate and vis versa. Agents in charge of her security, said “Mrs. Regan knew us by first names, knew our families and always remembered birthdays.

ABOVE EVERYTHING SHE WAS ALWAYS A LADY FIRST and the best first Lady we ever protected. RIP

A class act to the end. See you both in a while …

Ah, that always brings a tear to my eyes. Brings back memories of friends I’ve lost on the job.
      Thanks for posting SARC

May she rest in eternal peace.

Notice how it’s the conservative first ladies that are the class acts (I’m sure you can think of, and name, more than Lady Reagan), versus the Libtard womyn ( I REFUSE to call them “ladies”).

RIP, Lady Reagan. Go be with your wonderful husband.

    1. L. Taylor

This is nonsense. Michelle Obama is a class act.

And the truth about the Reagans, particularly Nancy, and their activities (affairs, duplicity, abusiveness toward their children, greed, and even drug use has been known for decades).

Nancy was a flawed person. Just like nearly everyone that has ever lived in the white house. Claiming ONLY conservative first ladies are class acts, and using Nancy as an example is ridiculous.

Michelle Obama is a self-promoting cow with bad taste in clothing.

Jackie Kennedy was a helluva class act. Eleanor Roosevelt was miles ahead of Obama in class. Both of them put up with husbands who fooled around.

Frankly, the Obamas have less ‘class’ than my cat’s water bowl.

As usual, taylor, you’re making it clear what a social moron you are.

        1. Hondo

Not sure I’d use Eleanor Roosevelt as an example of “class”, Ex-PH2. The way she sabotaged her cousin’s Theodore Jr’s 1924 run for Governor of NY wasn’t exactly a class act.

          1. Ex-PH2

Agreed in that respect, but someone posted something elsewhere that has the Clintons as more classy than the Obamas. IMHO, Eleanor was classier than the Clintons.

There were/have been a lot of First Ladies who were miles ahead of Obama. I stand by my statement.

            Smooches.

You are a bitter petty little man Lars. Not one nice thing to say. Ever. Have you tried anti-depressants? I’ve heard they can help improve your outlook on life. Or maybe just pulling your head out of your ass might help too.

        1. Ex-PH2

No, RM3, I think he’d miss the smell.

        2. L. Taylor

He attacked all “libtard” first ladies. For no real reason.

I just stated the facts. Nancy was human.

I was only responding to the unjustified and false attacks on other first ladies.

So I am “petty” for defending every liberal first lady that ever occupied the white house but he is not petty for attacking them?

          Really?

I least I have facts on my side. Nancy’s activities have been public for decades.

          1. JACK SHIT

You don’t know me, Lars Taylor.

          2. Ex-PH2

Go back and reread what he actually said, Taylor. Try reading for CONTENT, instead of just scoping a few words out of a paragraph.

      3. A Proud Infidel®™

Michelle 0bama is about as classy as a delapidated bus stop.

      4. Eden

Michelle Obama and “class” are about as far from each other as you can get.

    Uh-oh.

I don’t want to despoil this thread so I will post something in the WOT that all but one of you will enjoy.

I do recall that the savaging by the press of Residential relatives started during Reagan’s term…. Billy Carter was gently dismissed as an eccentric and Rosalyn Carter…well, maybe the wrong one was elected. The teardowns of Nancy for things like consulting an astrologer etc. were really the start of how things are today. It was a different dynamic then. nowadays the slightest flaw is red meat to the press whether it is justified or not. I would say that when you have First Ladies who are at worst characterized as 1) Astrology consulters and their husband’s closest confidante and advisors 2) Serial liars and felons 3) Social hostess involved with increasing reading awareness 4) Someone who openly talks about being ‘ashamed of their country’ who ‘despise the military’ – maybe the image of the press as being biased is inaccurate, because the Democratic First Ladies look a lot worse. Or, if that stance is untenable and the press ISN’T far right-leaning as Ms. Clinton seems to think….

  19. Eden

Mrs. Reagan epitomized class. I’ll never forget the image of her at President Reagan’s casket, saying her heartbroken goodbyes.

    Rest in peace, Mrs. Reagan.
