  • Two Terrorist Bastards Bite the Big One

    Some time back, an American married couple apparently decided to turn traitor.  Well, either that or they were just a couple of evil bastards who like oppressing or killing innocents.

    Why do I say that?  Because they traveled to the Middle East – and joined Da’esh.  There, they were known as “Abu Issa Al-Amriki” and “Umm Issa Al-Amrikiah”.  They even went to Syria to get “down with the cause” – or whatever.

    Well, it turns out they may have gotten just a bit more than they bargained for.  According to social media accounts linked to Da’esh, late last month both were taken out by a US RPA strike.  The Da’esh-linked accounts did not make public the couple’s previous names.

    Gee.  That’s . . . just . . . too . . . damn . . . bad.  (smile)

    And please, libidiot SJW crowd:  spare me the naive, “But that’s illegal – they were killed without a fair trial!” bullsh!t.  These a-holes had gone overseas to fight alongside sworn enemies of the USA.  Taking up arms against the US and/or our allies and fighting alongside our enemies means you’ve just made yourself a bona fide target for friendly combat operations.

    May these two evil bastards enjoy Shay’tan’s “tender mercies” – and his personal attention – for all eternity.

    Obama sends more US troops to Syria

    last convoy out of Iraq

    The other day we talked about how the President was sending about 200 more US troops to Iraq. Today, Reuters reports that he announced today that he’s sending about 250 more troops to Syria;

    The new deployment will increase U.S. forces in Syria to about 300. The decision, announced by Obama in Germany at the end of a six-day foreign tour, appears reflects growing confidence in the ability of U.S.-backed forces to claw back territory from the hardline Sunni Islamist group.

    “Given the success, I’ve approved the deployment of up to 250 additional U.S. personnel in Syria, including special forces to keep up this momentum,” Obama said in a speech at a trade fair in the northern city of Hanover, the last stop on a trip that has taken him to Saudi Arabia and Britain.

    “They’re not going to be leading the fight on the ground, but they will be essential in providing the training and assisting local forces as they continue to drive ISIL back,” he added.

    Of course, these piecemeal deployments are the result of having no real strategy and because the brain trust – John Kerry, Joe Biden and Ash Carter – can’t convince the regional “allies” to commit to the war against ISIS, you know, even though the Arab states have the most to gain from an ISIS-free region.

  • Captain Bradley Grimm saving the world

    Captain Bradley Grimm saving the world

    Bradley Grimm

    According to CNN, Captain Bradley Grimm, while serving in the US Army in Iraq, uncovered actionable intelligence that prevented a school bombing half a world away in Denmark. He was awarded the Danish Defense Medal for Special Meritorious Effort by the Danish government when the information he provided them resulted in an arrest and recovery of homemade explosives.

    “The information he provided helped to foil the plot and resulted in an arrest and the confiscation of explosives” in Denmark, [Colonel Steve Warren, a spokesman for the coalition fighting ISIS] said Wednesday. “Brad’s work likely saved the lives of Danish citizens.”

    Grimm, who was based at al-Asad airbase in the western Iraqi province of Anbar, “did all of this voluntarily in addition to his duties,” Warren said.

    The Danish parliament recently provided authorization for an expanded role of their military in the fight against ISIS to include ground combat operations. The planned attack was probably in response to that decision.

    The National Guard says that Captain Grimm is a Texas Guardsman;

    According to a Danish officer, not only is the award one of the highest awards in Denmark, but also the special meritorious duty citation makes this award very rare. The medal is awarded infrequently, even to Danes, and is roughly equivalent to something more than a Legion of Merit, but less than a Silver Star.

    The medal was originally awarded for meritorious deployment outside of Denmark, but after 2010, the Danish government began awarding it to civilians or military personnel for meritorious service for the betterment of the Danish Defense.

    “Capt. Grimm’s actions had a monumental impact on our allies in Denmark, and consequently on our coalition in the fight against international terrorism,” said Maj. Gen. John F. Nichols, the adjutant general of Texas. “He embodies what our force stands for – Duty, Honor, Texas.”

  • “We have sent many operatives to Europe with the refugees.”

    The Washington Post today has an excellent and informative article – if also a somewhat disturbing one. It documents in some detail how four Da’esh operatives passed themselves off as “refugees” and used that ruse to infiltrate Europe.

    On a crisp morning last October, 198 migrants arrived on the Greek island of Leros, all of them seemingly desperate people seeking sanctuary in Europe. But hiding among them were four men with a very different agenda.

    The four were posing as war-weary Syrians — all carrying doctored passports with false identities. And they were on a deadly mission for the Islamic State.

    Two of the four would masquerade as migrants all the way to Paris. There, at 9:20 p.m. on Nov. 13, they would detonate suicide vests near the Stade de France sports complex, fulfilling their part in the worst attack on French soil since World War II.

    The other two Da’esh operatives were detained in Greece for lying about their identities. However, after a time they were released and allowed to continue their journey. They were later arrested in Austria – thankfully, before they could commit a terrorist attack. God only knows what other actions they took to support terrorism in the interim.

    The article goes on to provide more info about the issue of Da’esh using the “refugee” flood as cover for infiltration. That info paints a rather disturbing picture.

    Think about that for a moment. In one group of less than 200 “refugees”, 4 of them – or over 2% – were decidedly not “refugees” at all. Rather, they were radical Islamist operatives intent on committing terrorist atrocities in a foreign land. They were merely using the ruse of being “refugees” as cover for their infiltration in order to avoid more thorough screening.

    Over a million “refugees” from the Middle East have entered Europe recently. European intelligence agencies believe several hundred thousand of them may never have been adequately screened on entry.

    If even 1% of those unscreened “refugees” are instead terrorist operatives, that’s 1,000 terrorists for every 100,000 alleged “refugees” who entered. And based on an admittedly small sample, there’s evidence that the actual rate may well be more than double that.

    Da’esh brags that they have many more such “sleeper” operatives in Europe now. Indeed, this article’s title is a quote from a Da’esh commander discussing the subject.

    So far, only a bit more than three dozen of those Da’esh operatives infiltrated as “refugees” have been identified and apprehended in Europe. And of those, seven of them participated in the Paris attacks last year.

    And yet, the      gaggle of naive fools and clueless tools running the show in DC      current Administration wants to admit tens of thousands of “refugees” to the US, too. But don’t worry – the Administration assures us that any such “refugees” admitted will be screened “thoroughly”.

    Yeah, right. In reality, if admitted they won’t be screened anywhere near as thoroughly as the foreign born spouse of the couple responsible for San Bernardino. And we know how that turned out.

  • Teens arrested for bombing Sikh Temple

    From the German Local comes the news that two “Salafist” teens were arrested in Essen for bombing a Sikh Temple. The police say that the pair have connections to the Islamic terrorist “scene”;

    “The accused have clear links to the terrorist scene,” Essen police chief Frank Richter told journalists at a press conference, saying that both teenagers had made partial confessions.

    Richter added that there was no evidence so far of a link to the Isis terrorist group, but said police expect to make further arrests in the coming days.

    ARD public television reported that the two youths arrested were well-known to the police for their links to the Salafist scene in the densely populated Rhine-Ruhr region of North Rhine-Westphalia, something Richter refused to confirm at the press conference.

    Luckily, there were only a few people injured in the attack. The article says that Sikhs worldwide are pretty upset at the attack – it seems to me that they aren’t the type of people that you’d want to anger, you know, since they have pretty well-known and fierce warrior tradition.

    SFC Terry Lee Gilden

    Dave Hardin reminds us that SFC Terry Lee Gilden who was the first Delta operator to be killed in action against an armed enemy on April 18, 1983 was killed 33 years ago this week. He was assigned to the personal security detail for the State Department in Beirut when a delivery van loaded with about 2,000 pounds of explosives crashed into the US Embassy there. 17 Americans died; among them a Marine guard and three Army soldiers. In total, 63 people were killed in the blast. The attack was blamed on Iranian-sponsored Hezbollah militiamen.

  • Chattanooga victims awarded Purple Hearts

    Chattanooga victims awarded Purple Hearts

    MustangCryppie sends us a link from the Military Times which reports that the families of the Marines lost in the terrorist shooting last year in Chattanooga, Tennessee received Purple Heart Medals;

    The families of Gunnery Sgt. Thomas Sullivan, Staff Sgt. David Wyatt, Sgt. Carson Holmquist and Lance Cpl. Squire “Skip” Wells received the medals from Lt. Gen. Rex McMillian, head of Marine Corps Forces Reserve, during a ceremony at the Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga.

    […]

    Purple Heart medals were presented in separate ceremonies earlier this year to the family of Navy Petty Officer Randall Smith, the sailor also killed in the attack, as well as Sgt. DeMonte Cheeley, a Marine recruiter wounded in the first shooting.

    The Marines and sailor became eligible for the Purple Heart after an investigation by the FBI and the Navy Criminal Investigative Service concluded that Abdulazeez’s attack was inspired by a foreign terrorist group.

    So I guess the government is willing to admit that war followed the troops home after the Fort Hood, Texas and Little Rock, Arkansas shootings by terrorists on US soil.

  • Supreme Court upholds Iran lawsuit

    The US Supreme Court has upheld legislation that from Congress and president Obama which holds Iran financially responsible for terrorist acts dating back to the Beirut barracks bombing in 1983, according to USAToday;

    The 6-2 ruling by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a victory for more than 1,000 victims and their surviving family members, who had sought access to about $1.75 billion in assets controlled by Iran in a U.S. bank.

    The court determined that a law passed by Congress did not dictate to the courts how to handle the dispute, as the Iranian challengers had claimed. The justices also said the Constitution gives the president and Congress broad powers to conduct foreign policy.

    “Exercise by Congress and the president of control over claims against foreign governments, as well as foreign government-owned property in the United States, is hardly a novelty,” Ginsburg said in summarizing her 24-page opinion from the bench.

    The other day, John Kerry told the media that they haven’t given back the $155 billion of the Iranian’s money that the US froze decades ago, so I know where they can get the money to pay off Iran’s legal penalties.

    Thanks to Dave Hardin for the link.
