  • Fatally Unique; jerks

    Matt noticed while he was watching TV the other night, the dance group Fatally Unique on the Howie Mandell talent show “America’s Got Talent” that members of the group were wearing real US military medals on their clothing. He’s got better eyes than mine. I think this is the segment he was talking about;

    Anyway, Matt emails us that he saw the “Bronze Star Medal and War on Terrorism Service Medal, amongst others”. So Matt emailed the dance group;

    Wearing military medals that you did not earn is offensive to those who put their life on the line. I wish you would reconsider your attire and apologize publicly to the veterans.

    They responded;

    Say that to Michael Jackson & Have the sense/respect to understand what an entertainer does. Dont [sic] bother messaging back you have just been blocked!

    Sure there’s nothing illegal with these dicks wearing the medals, but to diminish the request of a military veteran to wear fake medals instead of the same medals worn by people who’ve served the country in which this band of performing apes seek to make their fortune is disrespectful.

    “Understand what an entertainer does”? What does that even mean? Do they understand what a soldier does to earn those medals? Apparently they don’t respect that service if they block a veteran because he made a simple request of them.

    I don’t watch these shows, because I really don’t care about entertainers…we have too damned many of them. And dancers? Really? I don’t see people flocking to venues to watch dancing on stage – what an idiot endeavor. But I’ll watch this show from now on just to vote against the creeps…not because they wear medals they didn’t earn, but because they’re a bunch of pretentious assholes.

  • Another nude photo scandal?

    What the hell is it with those morons in politics?

    New Jersey Democrat Louis Magazzu, 53, admitted sending the photos to the woman he said he had been corresponding with online for several years.

    He claims she requested the pictures but was working with an ‘avowed political enemy’ at the time and that he did not know.

    And now this dickweed has resigned;

    ‘Unfortunately, in my personal life, I did not always demonstrate the wisdom and balance that I expected from myself, and that the people of Cumberland County deserve and have every right to expect.’

    No shit? Really? Apparently he was set up by a Republican activist…but, that’s certainly no excuse. I can set you up all day, but if you don’t do anything, what good does it do to set you up?

    There are pictures at the link – but I think they’re being overly generous with the big blue dots.

    You can scour the internet and you won’t find any incriminating pictures of me – all my malfeasance is done away from any camera lenses. See how that works?

  • Noreiga to be extradited to Panama

    The Associated Press/Stars & Stripes reports that france is going to extradite Manuel Noriega, former Panama strongman and the intended target of the Just Cause operation, back to his home country.

    “We are not aware of (an extradition decision) nor why Mr. Noriega’s lawyers would give such news,” Panama’s Foreign Relations Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs and Treaties Vladimir Franco told The Associated Press.

    Franco said that once France informs Panama that it has approved Noriega’s extradition, the Central American country would have to arrange for his transfer to a Panamanian prison. He said that could take one to three weeks.

    Last I heard, France wouldn’t extradite Noreiga because he faced the death penalty for a murder charge. Panama must’ve vacated the penalty in an agreement with France as a condition of the extradition.

    My mother-in-law went to school with Noriega where she says his nickname was “Little boots” because his feet are so small. She tried to get him to intervene when I was in jail in Panama for kidnapping and he was just a lieutenant colonel under his predecessor, General Omar Torrijos. Of course, he didn’t intervene and I was released a few weeks after my arrest, because…well…I didn’t kidnap anyone.

    Now, after 22 years in prison, Noreiga is looking at another 20 years in a Panama prison. I can tell him from experience that it’s not as nice as the prisons to which he’s accustomed.

  • Parenting and Phony Ranger stories

    Blackfive sent us this Salon link last night that he received from a B5 reader. It’s about some chick who meets a Ranger in a bar who tells her the story of a training accident that happened when he was a young LT;

    While my dad and mom were zooming down I-35 listening to Creedence, my dad’s friend — we’ll call him Joe Trevor, the same guy I met in the bar 20 years later — led a group of soldiers, Team A, in a mock-ambush of a military vehicle full of soldiers, Team B.

    Team A’s job was to jump out from hidden positions along the side of the road and “kill” all the soldiers on Team B as they came by in a tactical vehicle. Team A checked out guns full of dummy ammo from the supply personnel on duty at the arms room that night and headed out to the ambush spot on one of the many dusty roads that crisscross the training areas of Fort Sill. But the ammo was live, and before they realized what was happening, Team A killed — really killed –seven American soldiers on Team B. A friendly fire episode.

    Yeah, a real tagedy…if armorers issued weapons already loaded. Soldiers load their own weapons and magazines, and they’d probably be able to notice the difference if they were loading live ammunition as opposed to blanks. The short round with no bullet in the middle of this picture is blank ammo;

    In the event he was talking about M14s and not M16s, the round on the far right is 7.62 blank in this picture.

    But, you get the idea, the ammunition is distinctive for a reason, so no one loads live ammunition when they intend to load blanks. And like I said, armorers don’t issue weapons with the ammunition already loaded. Even if they did, don’t you think that a soldier would look in the magazine and notice the live ammo at some point?

    And she keeps calling it “dummy” ammo. The big difference between dummy ammo and live ammo is that dummy ammo doesn’t make a *BANG* noise when you pull the trigger – it’s inert.

    Yeah, this Constance Squires made up the whole story, for some stupid reason, because only someone who knows absolutely nothing about weapons and procedures in the Army could come up with this fantasy bullshit to write about parenting. Stay in your lane, Constance. Now your daughter knows you lie.

    ADDED: Anonymous reminds me in the comments that the rifles would require a big red and noticeable blank firing adapter to make the rifles fire properly in semi- or full-auto mode and would have prevented a bullet from reaching their intended target and would have exploded in the barrel of the weapon.

    TSO Adds: Well, it gets interesting…..

    From the Trial:

    UPDATE: OK, so the story is 1/2 bullshit, and 1/2 true. It was only one rifle loaded with the live rounds, and it didn’t happen at all the way the chick said. A LT borrowed the weapon, didn’t know what he was using. Said he fired it in the air. Later it turned out to be loaded with live rounds, and he had blown the BFA off the end of it. They actually found the BFA in pieces later on. Going through reports of the trial now.

    The whole edited and researched story.

  • Harry Reid: Did I mention that I hate Bush?

    I caught myself dozing off a few minutes ago, which is bad since I’m supposed to be working. I glanced up and discovered why I was suddenly so drowsy – Harry Reid, the VoteVet-supported draft dodger, was talking to the Senate just prior to their vote on the “debt deal”. That droning, monotonous voice always puts me to sleep.

    Anyway, I listened to him blame former President Bush for our current financial difficulties and tell us how there was a $7 trillion surplus under Clinton. Funny, but the Democrats controlled the Senate for the first two years of the Bush Administration and both houses for the last two years. I don’t remember them doing anything to cut spending during those years.

    In fact, I remember Bush and McCain trying to rein in Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac while those two organizations were enabling people to buy homes they couldn’t afford before the housing crisis. In fact, I sat out the housing boom in a tiny apartment while everyone was telling me how I needed to buy a house and get in on it. Everyone including the Democrats.

    I have one simple rule when it comes to my money and investments – if everyone else is doing what I’m doing, I need to stop doing it.

    So after the housing bust, I bought a house and the only money I borrowed was from myself. Now I’m not especially smart, but if people are selling me a long-term loan and their sole selling point is “Rates have never been lower”, I’m pretty certain that rates are going to go up sooner than they’ll go down further or remain the same.

    But that’s the deal Democrats are trying to sell to the American people…again. They’re upset that they didn’t get to tax the rich, but that doesn’t mean that tax revenues aren’t going to go up. When Bush cut taxes, revenues exceeded the Clinton years revenues two years after the tax cuts took effect and every year afterwards.

    But somehow, it’s appealing to Democrats to “tax the rich” and as we discovered after the Clinton tax hikes, everyone who has a job is rich – even retirees on fixed incomes.

    But Reid was doing what he’s always done best – take the easy way out – blame the guy who hasn’t been in office for more than two years and complain that he can’t increase taxes.

  • Veterans Today: Kristallnacht was a false flag operation

    I’m sure you’ve heard of Kristallnacht, the nights of violence and destruction that eventually resulted in European Jews being marched into the ovens and gas chambers of Hitler’s concentration camps sparked by the assassination of Secretary of the German Embassy in Paris, Ernst vom Rath by Polish teen Jew Herschel Feibel Grynszpan in Paris in November, 1938.

    Well, Ingrid Zundel, in the era of countless “false flag operations” committed by the Mossad, according to the authors at Veterans Today, declares that Kristallnacht was a false flag operation. I know it’s hard to believe since there was no Mossad, but of course, the Jews themselves were decades ahead of the yet-unfounded intelligence agency. Zundel quotes from German author, Ingrid Weckert.

    According to Weckert, Hitler and Goebbels tried to stop the senseless rampage and that they were outraged by behavior they considered “un-German”. And the proof that Weckert has that the rampage was committed by the Jews? The fact that Goebbels levied a tax on all European Jews for the damage caused on Crystal Night.

    And, oh, Germans weren’t even capable of such atrocities;

    Along with my entire generation, I received an education of the highest ethical standards. We were brought up to love and respect our country and people. We were taught to be proud of its great history. The heroes of Germany’s past represented our great ideals. They spurred us to honesty and responsibility in our own lives. In my opinion, the youth of Adolf Hitler’s Germany was the finest of all Europe and perhaps of the entire world.

    The same ethical standards applied to the SS and SA. The SA stormtroopers were not sophisticated men. They usually preferred to use their fists before using their heads, but they acted according to the ideals which they had been taught: honor, faithfulness, honesty and devotion to their people and country. They were not at all the sadistic beasts portrayed by so-called historians. It was their faithfulness and gallantry which saved Germany from chaos and Communism. It is sheer stupidity to describe the SA men as blood-thirsty killers, as is widely done today.

    Yeah, tens of millions died in the war that the Nazis fought against civilization, more than half of the casualties were non-combatants, but those SS guys were pretty cool. And, apparently, Jews still suck like they did in the 1930s. Weckert also makes the claim that the German government tried to help Jews move to Palestine, but most of them didn’t want to go. What’s a tolerant, benevolent government to do? Well, besides marching them all to gas chambers.

  • “Bite Me” charges Secret Service for security detail

    According to the Washington Times, Joe “Bite Me” Biden is charging the Secret Service $2200/month for their use of his cottage that houses his protective detail;

    Since April, Mr. Biden has collected more than $13,000 from the agency charged with protecting him and his family for use of a rental cottage adjacent to the waterfront home he owns in a Wilmington, Del., suburb.

    Mr. Biden, listed not as vice president in federal purchasing documents but as a “vendor,” is eligible for up to $66,000 by the time the government contract expires in the fall of 2013, the records show.

    Poor Bite Me must be really hurting for money what with that $240,000 salary he gets paid to be the most incompetent boob in American history. He’s lucky that we even let him have a protective detail. No one is out to get him….every terrorist on the planet wants him to be president. He can destroy the country faster than a whole Army of suicide bombers.

  • Abdo’s accomplices

    My pleas for the identities of the other two people who were questioned in connection with Nasar Abdo’s terror plot haven’t gone unheeded. Someone emailed us last night. I haven’t had time to any research, but maybe you guys can help TSO today while I’m on the road to Walter Reed. But here are the names I got from our anonymous tipster; Wesley Solhan and Amir Tunis. Solwan is currently a federal prisoner, I assume in connection to Abdo.

    Our ninja adds that police have an interest in Zachari Klawonn, the person named at The Jawa Report yesterday. Klawonn is another conscientious objector applicant from Fort Hood

    And that they’re also looking at a female soldier who our ninja says was in Abdo’s Facebook friends list before it came down yesterday. I have a screenshot of that friends list, but it’s on my other computer and I can’t get to it right now. I can’t find McCall in AKO, so I don’t know if she’s really a soldier or not.

    So that’s what I have so far, maybe you guys and TSO can fill in some of the holes while I’m gone today.
