  • Garofalo: Republicans like Cain because they’re racist

    Yeah, I thought she’d died, too, but she keeps coming back like a yeast infection. Claymore sends us a link to an interview she did with Keith Olbermann last night. At first she’s sitting there with keith Olbermann talking about how Fox News has no credibility – and isn’t Olbermenn on Al Gore’s network now? I guess she doesn’t see the irony of talking about credibility with Keith Olbermann. But then she accuses republicans of supporting Hermann Cain because it enables us to cover up our inherent racism;

    “Herman Cain is probably well liked by some of the Republicans because it hides the racist elements of the Republican party. Conservative movement and tea party movement, one in the same.

    “People like Karl Rove liked to keep the racism very covert. And so Herman Cain provides this great opportunity say you can say ‘Look, this is not a racist, anti-immigrant, anti-female, anti-gay movement. Look we have a black man.’”

    yeah, we’ve had blacks in the Republican Party before the Democrats had blacks in their party. The first black congressmen were Republicans. It was Republican votes that passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It was a Republican president and a Republican majority votes that passed the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

    That’s probably because we were hiding our racism then, too. Wait wasn’t Martin Luther King, Jr. a registered Republican, too? It couldn’t have been because the Democrats in the South were segregationists, could it?

    Regardless, Garofalo is a fucking moron.

  • Kokesh and the end of the Footloose episode

    You might remember that i wrote about Adam Kokesh and his crusade to allow dancing at the Jefferson Memorial last Spring. Well the justice system has failed most of America once again – I guess the prosecutor dropped charges against him, Code Pink’s Media Benjamin and Tighe Berry. So here they are celebrating their blow against justice, because the charges weren’t about dancing, the charges had to do with obeying a law enforcement officer.

    That’s why Kokesh and Benjamin continue to flaunt the law…there are no consequences. The justice system is damning us to the continued presence of these ass clowns by allowing them to continue their immature and criminal behavior.

    Thanks to one of my ninjas for the video.

  • Earning respect in Philly

    Old Trooper sends a link to an incident in Philly in which a homeowner tried to protect two unarmed teens from a crowd of other armed teens. After hustling the kids in his house, Mark LaVelle bolted his own front door and told his wife and kids to hide upstairs. The crowd of teens forced the door open and hit LeVelle with a pipe and their fists. Another tried to raise a gun, but LeVelle was able to prevent the man from firing until police arrived.

    of course the parents of the violent teens are the real heroes in this story (that’s sarcasm, in case you don’t know me);

    LaVelle said that the next day the mother of the juvenile came back with some other people, banging on his door, screaming. LaVelle, who was at a charity sports event, was called back to the house by one of his sons.

    When he got home, LaVelle said, the mother yelled at him, ” ‘You white mother——, you got my kid locked up! You got my son locked up because he’s black, you’re white!’ ” The mother claimed that her son had been “a witness,” not an attacker. To that, LaVelle said if that were true, it would come out in court.

    But the mother, according to LaVelle, then yelled: ” ‘If you make it to court! I know where you live!’ “

    Of course, the armed teens are blameless and their parents are out to prove that by being criminals themselves.

  • “Please raise my taxes”

    Some halfwit who claims to be “unemployed by choice” begs the President to “please raise my taxes”;

    I would like very much to have the country to continue to invest in things like Pell Grants, infrastructure, and job training programs that made it possible for me to get to where I am.

    First of all, if he’s not earning any money, he’s not paying income taxes. Maybe he’s paying capital gains on his investments, but he’s not paying income taxes since he has no income. So who is he to ask for a tax increase? he has the option to voluntarily send in some money if he feels that would assuage his guilt over not paying enough, but why is he so ready to inflict his guilty feelings on the rest of us?

    And yeah, I’d like to see kids get a decent education, I’d even be willing to pay more taxes if kids got a decent education. But, for example, at the college from which I graduated, a large number of students were psychology majors, which is an absolutely worthless field of endeavor if the student only intends to get a bachelor’s degree.

    And, oh, I learned more in high school than I learned twenty years later in college because of “education inflation.” The public schools are more focused on the social aspect of beiong a teenager than they are in educating students – because of the proliferation of grants, everyone is going to college, so let’s spend more time practicing to put condoms on bananas than on the Constitution.

    Employers don’t have job training programs? What we need is an education system that provides a baseline education so that employers spend their time and money training people for job-specific tasks. The government can’t do that no matter how much money we give them.

    ADDED: Michelle Malkin says that the guy who is so generous with your tax money is a DNC plant. This is my shocked face.

  • Crips declare war on military in OK

    Apparently, in response to a “brutal” home invasion supposedly conducted by four members of the military at Fort Sill, OK, the Crips street gang has issued a warning that they’ll take out their anger over some of their members who were killed in the home invasion on the entire military community in Lawton, OK;

    According to Cumpton’s memo, National Guard troops were instructed not to “wear a military uniform out for evening dining, shopping, and other personal matters.” Full-time members were cautioned to “consider commuting to/from work in civilian clothes — specifically, if they need to make personal stops between home and work.”

    Spokesmen for the Missouri National Guard and Fort Sill declined to elaborate on the incident, saying the investigation is in the hands of the Lawton, Okla., Police Department. Yet as of Saturday afternoon, “the alert has not been rescinded,” said Maj. Tammy Spicer, the public affairs officer for the Missouri National Guard. The decision to call off the alert will come from the Joint Operations Center in Jefferson City.

    Brilliant thinking on the part of the street punks. it’s one thing to declare war on another gang of punks, but to declare war on a group of people who all have weapons training, many of whom own their own weapons and CCW licenses? But then they probably don’t shot their pistols sideways, so they’re not all that scary-looking.

  • Soros fingerprints on LightSquared scandal

    The Washington Examiner reports that Far-Left financier, George Soros had involvement in the LightSquared company which has been the center of a recent scandal involving the Obama Administration when it was discovered that the administration tried to influence the testimony of four star Gen. William Shelton to Congress a few weeks ago.

    As Republican lawmakers begin to dig into the White House’s cozy relationship with a startup wireless company and the wealthy Democratic donor who owns it, a new character has appeared on the story’s edges: liberal superdonor, conservative bete noire and controversial investor George Soros.

    Soros reportedly invested in the telecom company LightSquared through a hedge fund, and many of the nonprofits he finances have backed LightSquared in regulatory and policy disputes.

    Soros is the money behind such anti-war, anti-American enterprises as VoteVets, MoveOn.org, and employs arrogant interrogator and smelly shitbag Matthew Alexander/Tony Camerino for anti-American propaganda.

  • Choi reenlisting

    According to Politico, Dan Choi is attempting to reenlist in the Army as “vindication” of something or other;

    “Going back to the military will be a vindication,” Choi told POLITICO. [I’m] going back because I fought to go back. The seriousness of our claims was not just political theatre – it was really drawn from our lives. I sacrificed so much so I could go back.”

    In October 2010, he attempted to rejoin the U.S. Army, but has gone back and forth since then. Choi has scheduled appointment with a military recruiter to talk about joining the Army Reserves later this week.

    Really, Dan, you sacrificed? What exactly did you sacrifice? Sanity? Common sense? You brought it all on yourself needlessly.

    I think there’s probably a question on the application for enlistment that asks Choi if he has any unsettled legal matters, to which he’d be required to answer “yes” since his trial in DC was delayed.

    Meanwhile, Choi says that although he is happy with the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell – after all, it allows him to reenlist – the victory is incomplete, something that he doesn’t think is well understood.

    “There is time for some well-intended criticism here – the parties that have been going on. I think they misrepresent the meaning of this event. People who believe that discrimination is somehow all erased will have a rude awakening,” says Choi, pointing out that same-sex spouses will not be extended benefits by the military.

    I hope the Army has the good sense to reject his application regardless of his circumstances. I’d hate to be the squad leader that has to tolerate this piece of shit and his antics. If ever there was someone who didn’t deserve the opportunity to serve this country, it’s Dan Choi.

  • Brower: When will the madness end?

    Elaine Brower takes the opportunity on 9/11/11 to remember the terrorists’ contribution to her cause of hate mongering and America-bashing.

    My wish for her didn’t come true. And when will her madness end?

    Someone needs to get a refund for those dance lessons;

    How to cram all of your vacuous anti-war talking points into a poem (Strong Language Warning);
