  • Our Homeland Is Not a Sanctuary

    The U.S. “homeland is no longer a sanctuary,” according to the four-star general in charge of both U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense Command.

    Peer-level adversaries are probing U.S. defenses in multiple domains, and the continental United States is well within their sights.

    “We’re in a changing security environment,” O’Shaughnessy said. “We used to think about the sanctuary we had with oceans and friendly countries to our north and south, but that’s changing with adversaries that are actually able to reach out and touch us now.”

    The concern falls in line with Defense Secretary Jim Mattis’ new National Defense Strategy, which prioritizes peer-level adversaries as greater threats than lower-end insurgent forces like those seen in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past decade.

    These peer-level foes are Russia and China, according to O’Shaughnessy and Mattis.

    Anyone surprised by this? Anyone? Bueller?  Nah. Didn’t think so. Nothing new to see here. Move along.

    Frankly, the ‘reach out and touch us’ notion isn’t new, either, since Cuba and Krushchev had that “thing” going on in 1961 with Fidel Castro and there was the very annoying Cuban missile crisis and US Navy blockade in October that year.

    If this does not give you a warm fuzzy feeling in the morning…nothing will.

    Police in Chattanooga, Tennessee say an officer unintentionally fired his department-issued firearm three times, hitting a person who had just committed suicide.

    According to the CPD release, the officer then accidentally fired three rounds, hitting a chair twice and the leg of the person.

    Hehehehehehehe,  “All Clear”.  Accidents happen.  I wonder how many  the “person” put into their own head, I figure they got off 10-12 rounds.

    Feeling threatened, and trying to protect his family, deputies say a homeowner was forced to shoot someone trying to break into his house.  Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 4 a.m. Wednesday, on Emerald Street, just north of Highway 6 in Fresno.  What started as a peaceful night, turned chaotic when deputies say the suspect kicked down the homeowner’s front door.

    He along with his wife and two young children were fast asleep when the scary commotion woke them up.  Deputies say the homeowner then reached for his gun and gave a fair warning to his intruder.  “The homeowner yelled, get out of my house! Stop please, he pleaded with him, please get out of my house, and he kept coming,” said Lt. Michael Fischer with the Sheriff’s Office.  Authorities say the homeowner shot the suspect twice, once in the arm and once in the leg. His family hid in the master bedroom during the home invasion.

    When deputies arrived on scene, they found the intruder on the ground.  “He was screaming, they’re after me, they’re after me, no one was after him,” said Fischer.

    They suspect he may have mental health issues as well.

    DNA from a mask worn in a deadly home invasion almost one year ago in northern Jefferson County has finally put the alleged intruder behind bars.

    Jason Dale Boatwright, a 40-year-old Bessemer man, is charged with murder, second-degree assault, burglary and robbery. One of Boatwright’s friends – Stephen Douglas Crump – was killed when authorities say he and Boatwright broke into a home in Mulga’s Bayview community. Another friend, Horace D. Stokes, was also charged with murder as the reported getaway driver.

    The homeowner was hit in the head with a handgun. During the struggle, a shot was fired. One of the suspects – the 38-year-old Crump – was hit by the bullet and dropped to floor. The other suspect – Boatwright – was wearing a mask that came off during the struggle. He fled the scene.  Crump was pronounced dead inside the home. The homeowner was taken to the hospital for treatment of a cut to the head.

    On Aug. 15, 2018, sheriff’s detectives received information from ADFS indicating that a DNA match had been obtained and identified Boatwright as the second suspect. Boatwright had previous felony convictions – including robbery and cocaine possession – and had just been released from an Alabama prison in February 2017, only seven months before the ill-fated home invasion. Because of his previous crimes, his DNA was already in the CODIS database.

    Back in the early days of TAH there were the Blog Wars.  Some guy named Jonn and a bunch of others didn’t care much for Stewy and his klan.  I am just a loving and kinda forgiving guy so far be it for me to try and outshine the eloquence of one Jonn Lilyea on the matter:

    Let’s just say TAH as a general guideline doesn’t care for Patchy Rhodes very much.  His hysterical babbling and tin foil temperament are some of his better qualities.  I have lost count of how many posers/embellishers we have busted that were affiliated with his group.  It started out as an interesting group but quickly turned septic mostly due to the puss filled ego of its blowhard leader.

    We all have variant opinions on the late Senator McCain but Stewy goes full batshit as if he has some breaking secret scoop about McCain that the average literate person didn’t have decades ago.  The irony of this one-eyed fat man claiming someone else built a reputation on lies and deception is just too rich.

    Sheriff skeptical after homeowner says he shot, killed intruder in prestigious community

    Authorities are investigating a homicide inside the Reynolds Plantation subdivision which is about 80 miles from the city of Atlanta.  Nelly Miles with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation says a resident called 911 to report he had shot an intruder in his home. The male subject was found inside the basement of the home deceased.

    The shooter was transported to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office for questioning.  The deceased male will be transported to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Officer in Decatur for an autopsy.    More to follow.

     Police are looking for a second armed robbery suspect after a shooting in far southeast Dallas.  Two men dressed in black jumped the fence of a home on Kleberg Road near Highway 175 just before midnight Monday. They were attempting to rob the home, police said.  But they didn’t get very far because the homeowner was also armed. He pulled out his gun and shot one of the men in the abdomen.

    The injured suspect later showed up at the hospital. He is expected to recover.  The second suspect is still at large. Police are looking at surveillance video to hopefully identify him.

    The Police Special Unit Robbery is presently investigating what seem to an attempted armed robbery which went wrong leaving one of the suspects dead. The incident took place on Monday August 27th at approximately 11.05 p.m. on Chin cherry road in Point Blanche.
    According to the report the victim and his son were driving in their car on Chin Cherry road when they were attacked by two unknown male suspects who were armed with guns and who attempted to rob them. Shots were fired by the suspects at the victim who was also carrying a gun and who returned fire fatally injuring one of the suspects. The other suspect fled the scene on foot into the neighborhood.
    The Emergency Dispatch was immediately informed of the incident and directed several patrol and paramedics to investigate what had taken place. On the scene the investigating officers encountered the victim and his son and also the lifeless body of one of the suspects that was lying on street. The area was immediately cordoned off for the Forensic department to collect evidence and to determine what exactly happened and for Detectives to question potential witnesses. A medical doctor arrived on the scene and pronounced the death of the suspect.

    But other than that, this guy has done some seriously solid research.

    Be sure to tune into all his shit, I’m sure he’ll have more to say in the near future, and frankly, I look forward to it.  I literally hadn’t laughed so hard since my buddy died (while not summoning the Angel of Death.)

  • Al Sharpton Slams Program for Good Samaritans

    People being good citizens with assisting police make arrests? Reverend Al Sharpton isn’t too happy with this program.

    A police association is jumping in to encourage legitimate citizen involvement. The Sergeants Benevolent Association is offering to reward $500.00 to good Samaritans who assist police officers with making arrests.

    Additionally, a New York state senator is recommending legislation that protects people making citizen’s arrests. If this legislation passes, and gets signed into law, a second incentive open up to encourage legitimate citizen assistance to the police; reduced liability.

    Reverend Al Sharpton is not having any of that. From the New York Daily News:

    “Golden’s attempt to codify this regressive legislation that resembles some of this country’s most shameful Jim Crow laws, is despicable and will be fought at every measure,” Sharpton said. “We are emboldened to act and resist this blatant and poorly veiled attempt to devalue the lives of black and brown people and put them into the hands of civilians.”

    “This attempt to exacerbate vigilante violence against black and brown people and now monetarily incentivize that violence is unconscionable,” Sharpton said in the statement.

    If Al Sharpton is so concerned about minority lives, there are places he could go to, and audiences he could address. He could start in places like Chicago, where black on black violence shows lack of regard for minority lives.

    We’ve seen videos of police facing danger, and even one where a police officer was killed.

    Let’s see, someone breaks the law. This someone is dangerous; the police attempt to apprehend the individual. The individual proves to be too much. Enter the good Samaritans who could legitimately assist with the apprehension.

    Citizens decide to help those that represent the community. This is about law enforcement, and keeping the peace.

    Al Sharpton appears to be advocating for Thugs/law breakers. We need more programs like these, just like we need law abiding citizens with a concealed and carry permit… Ready to responsibly use their firearm to protect their own lives as well as that of others.

  • Gowdy requests records related to allegations Pentagon spokeswoman misused staff

    The Washington Examiner reports Congress is investigating allegations that the Pentagon’s chief spokeswoman misused and retaliated against staff.

    House Oversight Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., has ordered the Department of Defense to produce records pertaining to the allegations against Dana White, according to a CNN report.

    Gowdy wrote to Defense Secretary Jim Mattis on Tuesday to request “all documents and communications to, from, or about Dana White regarding her tasking other Department employees with non-official business,” and “all documents and communications to or from Dana White regarding the transfer of staff to different positions” by Sept. 7, and to arrange a briefing for the committee by the end of the month.

    White, a Trump administration appointee and the department’s top public affairs official, is under investigation by the Pentagon inspector general for asking staff members to get her snacks and pantyhose from the Pentagon pharmacy, pick up her lunch, drive her to work, and do her mortgage paperwork, according to previous reports. Staffers who reported the behavior complained to the inspector general they were later transferred as a reprisal, according to CNN. The investigation is ongoing.

    The letter notes that the allegations raise “questions about whether the Department’s senior managers receive proper ethics training,” and requests documents and training materials for senior officials related to ethics and management responsibilities.”

    When asked by CNN Thursday about the letter, DoD spokesperson Col. Rob Manning said, “This is an ongoing review and therefore we are unable to provide additional comments.”

    Innocent until proven guilty, but really not surprised at the allegations. Happens all the time, but who does she think she is, the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy?

  • Alldred Sentenced


    The Associated Press reports that Derek Alldred, 47, the phony SEAL who had ripped off women across the country was sentenced in federal court Wednesday after he plead guilty in December to mail fraud and aggravated identity fraud.

    A Minnesota man who authorities say falsely presented himself as a U.S. Navy pilot and defense analyst has been sentenced in Texas to 24 years in prison for stealing from various women he met online.
