  • Elizabeth Warren Attacks Admiral over Party He Attended 14 Years Ago

    warren_fuller

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), a potential 2020 Democratic presidential contender, attacked Navy Vice Adm. Craig Faller Tuesday during his confirmation hearing to become commander of U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) over a decision 14 years ago to attend a party during a port visit to Hong Kong.

Faller’s attendance at the 2004 party was reported in a Washington Post article the day before the confirmation hearing. The article described a lavish party for more than 50 Navy officers from the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group during a port visit to Hong Kong at a luxury hotel “where they savored cocktails, cigars and courses of Oscietra caviar, black truffles and lobster thermidor.”

The article said “mingling with the guests were attractive young women dressed as Santa’s little helpers, wearing red hats, black boots and skimpy yuletide costumes.”

Sounds pretty evil to me. How dare Naval Officers attend an evening event hosted by a Foreign National? If he didn’t attend, sounds like he would have missed a pretty good time, not to mention missing “face time” points with Higher.

The party was hosted, of course, by Fat Leonard.

The commander of the strike group, now-Ret. Navy Adm. W. Douglas Crowder, told the Post that he asked Navy lawyers to review the invitation beforehand and was told it was permissible to attend, and he gave his officers the green light to go and nothing “untoward” happened at the party. He said Faller left the dinner with him.

Despite being cleared by the DOJ and the Navy, Warren seized on Faller’s decision to attend the party as evidence of his bad judgment.

“Now I know that both the Department of Justice and the U.S. Navy cleared you of wrong-doing, and that your superior supposedly signed-off on the 2004 dinner, but I just have to say — this does not pass the smell test for me,” she said.

The irony! Fauxcahontas chiding a Naval Officer on his conduct 14 years ago, long before the Fat Leonard debacle was discovered. No doubt she never refuses a chance to press the flesh at every soiree she can get to; then there’s that whole 1/16th Indian blood she claimed for racial preference, but has yet to produce a DNA test to verify that.

  • President Trump visits the UN

President Trump gave the UN another “talking to”.  I am not sure how many were actually listening.

“We are standing up for America and for the American people and we are also standing up for the world. This is great news for our citizens and for peace-loving people everywhere,” Trump said. “We will never surrender America’s sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable, global bureaucracy. America is governed by Americans. We reject the ideology of globalism and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism.”
It remained equally clear that Trump’s message is still not widely embraced by other countries; in contrast to past US presidents, his speech was not once interrupted by applause.
I am encouraged by the fact that he was not interrupted by applause by a circus of greedy clowns that are being told they can no longer panhandle their way to riches.
“Iran’s leaders sow chaos, death and destruction. They do not respect their neighbors’ borders or the sovereign rights of nations,” Trump said, before slamming Iranian leaders of plundering “the nation’s resources to enrich themselves and to spread mayhem across the Middle East and far beyond.”
Iran is still busy counting the pallets of American cash set by that other guy and his bloviated babe of state.  I would protest Iran by not purchasing anything made there…but I can’t find anything of value that is made in Iran…Or any other Islamic state.  I wonder why that is…maybe they are little more than international parasites.

  • The virtue of Military Service is a Myth and it is destroying this country.

The virtue of Military Service is a Myth and it is destroying this country.

Careful Citizen, having reverence for those who served in the military erodes our Democracy.

The gap in civilian and military experiences in the United States over the 17 years since 9/11 has led to persuasive, persistent, and unrealistic myths that have eroded faith in civilian leadership of defense policy. Among these myths are the superior virtue of military over other kinds of public service; that battlefield experience is the most authoritative source of military policy expertise; and that an exclusively civilian background is inadequate for strategic defense leadership. In the United States, these myths are nurtured and perpetuated by both military and civilian communities and affect general public opinion as well as the attitudes of national security professionals. These myths are also corrosive. Unless they are acknowledged, addressed, and challenged, future civilian leaders may struggle to control the use of force—a profound problem for a democratic system. Downgrading civilian leadership will weaken U.S. national security and the military itself.

I thought having experience in the field you were administering was a good thing.   Silly me.

The myth with which the majority of Americans are most familiar is the notion that military service tops the hierarchy of civic duties. The Pew Research Center found in 2011 that 83 percent of American adults believe military personnel and their families have had to make sacrifices since 9/11, but at the same time less than half the population believes the American public has shared the burden of war. The kernel of truth underlying this perception has grown into a sense that there is a deficit on the civilian side of U.S. society.

Civilians have made and equal sacrifice to those who serve in the military?  Someone explain this to me.

Veterans are often offered early boarding for airplanes. Harris Teeter grocery stores provide preferred parking for veterans. Veterans’ issues top the list for dozens of major charities and are included among the charitable giving priorities of corporate foundations. On the one hand, this is all as it should be: Admiring and expressing gratitude for military service, especially in wartime, is simply the right thing for a society to do. The problem is that admiration for military service eclipses respect for other national-level institutions and other forms of service. In today’s polarized political environment, the chasm has put those in uniform in the awkward position of embodying civic virtue.

I had no idea my service to this country was eroding Democracy.

Washington Post/Kaiser Family Foundation poll of veterans found in 2013 that nearly half believe the American public doesn’t genuinely respect their service.

    Shocked face.

A 2017 Gallup poll found Americans’ trust in the military is more than twice what it is for the presidency and six times higher than faith in Congress.

Well, we can’t have that.  Americans trusting in the military has to be stopped.   We should all entrust our safety to some Commie Pinko babe from NY.   We should put people who have no idea what the military is all about in charge of protecting us and stop this reverence for those who served before it destroys this nation.

  • There are some people who are obviously confused.

There are several topics I have refrained from commenting about to a large degree.   I am one of those people who sleeps well at night because I don’t honestly give a shit about certain things.  I can not be compelled to give a shit about them and I have no intention of pretending I give a shit about some things.

Jonn thought I should write an article about the entire Bernath debacle.  I would rather spend that time watching old people fuck.  The fixation people had with that clown was nonsense.  Why Bernath himself and many others chose to banter on with each other escapes me.  I talked with him on a few occasions, it became apparent to me that spending any more time than I absolutely had to on anything Bernath related was a waste of my time.

Dallas still sends me an email now and then, but once again…I could give a shit less.  Altered pictures of me are posted online, statements are made about me, false accusations and so on.  I honestly do not give a shit and I never will.  I am not a Priest, I have no desire to be respected by people who do not know me and outside of the TAH group and Beirut veterans, you could put all the people I give a shit if they take another breath into a very small room.

I get the death threats and threats to those close to me, I sleep just fine.  If you really want to kill me then just do it and stop being a pussy about it.  Nothing reeks of cowardice like an empty threat from someone without the balls to act on it.  I do not care who knows what I do and I never have.  Jonn and I shared that thought.  If you want to kill yourself for whatever reason, I do not give a shit.  Call someone who does… I am not that guy.    There are upwards of 45,000 charities in this country that claim to be in the business of kissing your ass, I suggest you take them up on it.

Doing Stolen Valor related work is not for everyone.  All of us that do this work have our moments.  I hate to see anyone let this shit get them down.  Jonn did this work longer than just about anyone…there are a few exceptions.  I tried to step back into the shadows at one point,  Jonn denied my request.

Things are moving along, not as quickly as we would like but we are getting there.  The usual legal threats keep showing up.  This guy comes to mind.   Please don’t tell me you are getting a lawyer and blah, blah, blah, just have them contact us in writing directly.  We will have new challenges to face as time goes on.  I understand there is a video posted by Don Shipley on his site about things.   He could use and deserves our support and heartfelt thanks for all he does.  It is no secret that Shipley is not my cup of tea.  We have no contact outside of a short professional call from him now and then.  He does his own thing and so long as I am not writing checks to pay for anything he does, I don’t care what he does.  Jonn defended him to the last.  It’s easy for some people to throw stones from the cheap seats and criticize Don.  He ain’t perfect and makes no claim to be so.  He gives a shit about a whole lot more than I do, I gotta respect that.

I count on you people to make me stand corrected when I am wrong.  I expect to be criticized and have what I write critiqued.  Jonn let everyone speak their mind here, that will continue so long as I have any say in the matter.  The few exceptions he made to that rule were his to enforce.  This is not ‘MY’ site, this is “YOUR” site.  WE are the custodians of what was created here and I am little more than the maintenance man.  If I do not return your email…send another one.  If I do not post something you really want posted…tell me again.  If I do something that hurts your feelings or upsets you…let me know.  I can promise you if I do, that was not my intent.  If you are expecting me to act as if any of it bothers me…you have a long wait ahead of you.   Call me anytime, if it goes to voicemail I am probably doing something else and I doubt you what to know anything about it.

I wish all of you a wonderful and safe weekend.  Thank you for all of your support.

  • Dianne Feinstein Wasn’t Interested in Bill Clinton Rape Accusation

As you guys pointed out, Dianne Feinstein’s advancing Christine Ford’s rape accusation against Brett Kavanaugh, when she brought it up, is suspicious. Using a script from the Democrat playbook, they rolled out a sexual assault case against a conservative judge that threatens their leftist agenda.

Dianne Feinstein’s defenders are trying to argue that she didn’t have a choice. After all, information was leaked, the media found out about it, therefore she “had no other choice” but to release this information.

    Right…

But, when the shoe was on the other foot, there wasn’t that much interest in “getting to the bottom of the matter”. When Juanita Broaddrick submitted her affidavit regarding her rape accusation against Bill Clinton, Democrats went ghost.

    From the Washington Times:

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, California Democrat, has championed Brett Kavanaugh’s #MeToo accuser, but Juanita Broaddrick says the senator never showed any interest in her 1999 rape allegation against President Bill Clinton.

“It’s absurd,” Ms. Broaddrick said Wednesday on Fox News. “Not one Democrat would look at my deposition with the independent counsel. Oh my gosh, they did not want to know about it.”

The same side of the argument that wanted to ignore, or brush then President Clinton’s sexual assault accusations under the rug, are ready to keep Brett Kavanaugh from the Supreme Court.

Juanita Broaddrick had a stronger case than Christine Ford. Instead of being taken seriously, she suffered Hillary Clinton’s war on women.

But, they’re all of a sudden interested in a weak sexual assault allegation against Brett Kavanaugh, one that those familiar with law enforcement would say “wouldn’t hold up in court.”

Ms. Broaddrick also said that if Senate Democrats want the FBI to investigate the 36-year-old accusations against Mr. Kavanaugh, they should reopen her 40-year-old case, too.

But, we’re not holding our breaths expecting the Democrats to hold conservatives and liberals to the same standard. Then President Clinton had an agenda to put forward, one that Dianne Feinstein supported.

Democrats and their supporters are seeing that the current administration is derailing their game plan. President Trump is correcting the mistakes the previous administration made. Well, what we see as mistakes, but what our “betters” see as “what we need”.

Now the Democrats are in full obstructionist mode to stem the changes that President Trump is working to bring about… And to ultimately reverse his policies in favor of restoring what was implemented before President Trump became president.

In their pushing for restoring Obama’s liberal agenda, many Democrats are working to sabotage President Trump’s efforts to put pro constitution judges on the Supreme Court bench. In this case, derail Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings.

Do it long enough until their hoped-for Democrat Congress gets underway next year.

Then they’d be in position to severely limit efforts to put people on the bench who refuse to push a leftist agenda down our collective throats.

What benefits the country outside of certain elitist bubbles isn’t always consistent with what our self-proclaimed “betters” consider as beneficial.

The stakes are high this November’s election. Don’t leave things to chance.

Moderate Dog looking to stay in a nice place on the Potomic.

Where else is he going to find a place where he can develop a plan to kill more people than where he is?  Mattis being where he is makes me sleep well at night.

  • FBI: Brett Kavanaugh ‘Allegation Does Not Involve Any Potential Federal Crime’

    Kavanaugh

The sexual assault accusation that Senator Feinstein sat on all summer has had it’s intended effect on Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing, Democrat outrage. The event allegedly occurred at a party, where a drunken 17 year old Kavanaugh sexually assaulted the now Professor Ford.

Kavanaugh has unequivocally denied the charge. Some 60 people who knew him from his high school days, including a woman who dated him months after the alleged event occurred, to the present have signed a document vouching for his character and the respect he showed to all.

Ford has stated she will not testify to the Senate Judicial Committee until the FBI completes a thorough investigation.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) said Monday that the FBI will not investigate the sexual misconduct allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

    Stalemate?

Meanwhile, the Dems are acting pretty much as they were during the hearing.

After refusing to participate in a phone call with Kavanaugh set up by Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), led by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Democrats on the Judiciary Committee called on the FBI to investigate high school-era allegations against Kavanaugh.

“In view of the enormity and seriousness of these allegations, a staff-only phone call behind closed doors is unacceptable and Democratic staff will not participate,” Feinstein said in a statement on Monday.

She added that the FBI “has the resources and know-how to conduct an objective, independent evaluation of these sensitive allegations with appropriately trained investigators.”

Senate Minority Leader Schumer (D-NY) is also calling for an FBI investigation.

The FBI states, “Not our job.”

The DOJ, however, told a reporter for the far-left Politico, “The allegation does not involve any potential federal crime.”

Furthermore, the Associated Press reports that in a statement, the DOJ said late Monday that “it’s not the job of the FBI to judge the significance or the credibility of an accusation.”

Nevertheless, Democrats continue to call for the FBI to investigate in the hopes it will put an indefinite hold on the vote for Kavanaugh’s nomination, which has already been postponed.

Dem tactic- If they can’t halt the nomination, delay it. If they can’t delay it, besmirch the name of the nominee. This is their last “at bat.”
