  • Occupy LA co-opted by antiwar March Forward

    Old Trooper sends us a link from PressTV, the English-language Iranian news organization, which tells us that our old buddy, Mike Prysner, IVAW cum March Forward anti-war activist is using his organization to co-opt the Occupy LA sheep to turn them against the nebulous war against Iran;

    Mike Prysner is an Iraq War veteran and an organizer with the Answer Coalition.

    Prysner says protesters want to stop America from starting another unauthorized war in the Middle East, similar to what happened in Iraq.

    Activists say the war drive is based on U.S. imperialism and a desire to control the resources of the Middle East.

    “Similar to what happened in Iraq”? If that was imperialism, why are we not there anymore? Kind of redefines imperialism, doesn’t it?

    Prysner, you might remember, was indeed a veteran who served in Iraq, but his stories about what he saw there are somewhat in doubt because of his job…a radar operator. He wears remnants of his uniform at every opportunity to give himself some measure of authority in the discussion, but that only works among the hippies.

    Prysner also ran for public office, Florida, I think on the ballot for the Party for Socialism and Liberty and he’s a died-in-the-wool socialist. he left the IVAW because they weren’t radical enough, but he returned long enough to run for membership on their board in hopes that he could make them more radical. When that didn’t work, he formed March forward, the veteran arm of the Maoist-inspired ANSWER.

    I’m sure he licks his lips in anticipation at the thought of a nuclear-armed Iran.

  • How to be a POS hippie and get college credit to boot

    Pons sent us this link to an article from the Associated Press that tells us what the “institutions of higher learning” think is important these days;

    Thirty-two undergraduate students are enrolled at Roosevelt University’s “Occupy Everywhere” class. It’s a three-credit political science course that looks at the movement that started last summer near New York City’s Wall Street and spread nationwide.

    I’m sure there will be sessions to help them adapt to living with various vermin, their sexual habits, eating sewage and getting pepper-sprayed. This is the most insignificant and directionless event in recent memory, if not American History, but like the antiwar movement of the 60s the filthy hippie scum have to make themselves feel like they’ve done something historic, even if history only remembers it as historically pointless.

  • Classy OWS protesters

    I wrote earlier in the weekend about the park police moving into McPherson Square on k Street in DC to remove the sleeping gear of protesters in order to help them conform to regulations forbidding them to sleep in the park. Well, it seems the peaceful hippie shits tried to escalate the situation by tossing bricks into the faces of the officers who were merely doing their jobs according to the Washington Post;

    There were tense moments. Late in the afternoon, a police officer was struck in the face by a thrown brick. A man was taken into custody in connection with the incident.

    In McPherson Square, where protesters once slept, ate hot meals and snuggled in friendly “cuddle puddles,” they can now stay overnight only if they stay awake, keeping only unfurnished tents for the purpose of a round-the-clock vigil, police said.

    Of course, some protesters complained that they weren’t being tear-gassed;

    “We’re being evicted without tear gas,” said Melissa Byrne, a protester from the District.

    Schlosser said that police had moved in to do temporary “nuisance abatement” and that cleaning crews had found health hazards that included filthy bedding, bottles full of urine and several dead rats.

    Yeah, I would be proud of myself if the police had to come in and clean up after me wearing Hazmat suits. This is what a police state looks like – taxpayer-funded housecleaning.

  • More on Jay Polk, the dead Master Sergeant

    Pat sends us a court document that says Jaymond Polk was in prison a few short years ago. We don’t know why he was a guest of the State of Louisiana, only that he was at Caddo Correctional Center in Shreveport, Louisiana in late 2009 when he filed a suit against the center for violating his civil rights, apparently he was on parole at the time, and in violation of his parole agreement;

    Before the Court is a civil rights complaint filed by pro se plaintiff Jamond Polk (“Plaintiff”), pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. This complaint was received and filed in this Court on September 18, 2009. Plaintiff complains his civil rights were violated by prison officials while incarcerated at the Caddo Correctional Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He names Steve Prator, the Caddo Correctional Center, Robert Wyche, and Cedric Glover as defendants.

    Plaintiff filed a civil rights complaint and an IFP application. On October 22, 2009,the Court granted his application to proceed in forma pauperis. On January 7, 2010, this Court received a letter from the Caddo Correctional Center stating that Plaintiff had been released on December 21, 2009 to another facility. To date, Plaintiff has not informed this Court of his new address.

    Who would have thought that bunch of hippies demanding things they didn’t earn would attract an inmate population? of course, he probably would have got more sympathy from the filthy hippies if he had told them he’d been a guest of the People of Louisiana.

    By the way, it appears that the case was dismissed because no one knew how to contact Polk. Well, we know where he was last month. And I’m still convinced he ain’t dead.

  • Jay Polk, the Occupy San Diego dead Master Sergeant

    That dead Master Sergeant Jay Polk who Vets For Peace memorialized last month, about whom there are doubts regarding his death? Well, he was almost a Special Forces Master Sergeant, well as close to a Special Forces Master Sergeant can get to a Reservist who got booted out in clerk basic training at Fort Jackson;

    Here’s his storied and extensive career:

    It looks like he spent more time in the MEPPS station than he did at Fort Jackson.

    Now you mean to tell me that those cum bubbles in VFP spent more than four months with this blivethead and they didn’t see a one month basic trainee drop out, but they did see a Special Forces Master Sergeant in him?

    But it was more about what he gave them than about what he actually was. He gave them a martyr, well, not now, he made them look like the dipshit goofballs that they really are. Of course, we’ve exposed a number of VFP phonies here, so their inability to spot a real veteran is well-known at TAH. At least this one wasn’t wearing his father’s medals to “honor” his service.

    We’ve exposed enough of these Occupy phony numbnuts to rightfully doubt that any of them are veterans. Not only did he make the Occupy numbnuts look like jokes, he took in the DU numbnuts, too, and got them thinking that there are SF troops in Syria. Good job, Jay, you jerk-ass BOLO, you. By the way, if it isn’t obvious, I think the fucker is still alive.

    Thanks to the POW Network folks who’ve been leading the internet on this guy.

  • DC cops raid Occupy campsite

    The Washington Post reports that the US Park Police have surrounded McPherson Square this morning and they’re checking the tents for sleeping gear;

    Police in riot gear and on horseback entered the McPherson Square encampment in Northwest D.C. this morning around 5:30 a.m. and began collecting pallets and other items from the campers.

    Helicopters hovered overhead and a firehose was rolled out by police as the protesters watched. Police have told the Occupiers that they they want them to clear area around the camp’s tarp-covered “Tent of Dreams.”

    You can watch it live at the Washington Post and wait for the taserings to begin, cuz, you know nothing good comes from waking up hippies at zero-dark-thirty.

  • Jay Polk: Another Occupy phony?

    Kevin sent us an article in the East Coast Magazine about a special forces master sergeant by the name of Jay Polk who cooked for the filthy hippies at Occupy San Diego until he called up for a deployment to Afghanistan. Then a few days later, he called a local preacher for some prayers because he was “worried”;

    Polk had just learned of his deployment, but said that “he could not divulge anything, since it was really secretive.” Polk said his goodbyes to friends in San Diego just days before news came of his demise.

    For those who may not know, it takes “days” just to get to Afghanistan. But the article is dated January 12, 2012, so looking at the casualty lists of the weeks prior to the article, there is no listing for a Jay Polk, or any other Polk;

    The article also says that Polk will be buried in his hometown of Iberia, LA, but unless he was transgendered, there’s no record of an obituary by that name in Iberia;

    The article explains all of that away;

    The U.S. Department of Defense has not yet published news of Polk’s death, however such confirmation is commonly delayed in special forces operations.

    Yuh, huh. Well, here we are more than two weeks after the article was written and still no announcement of his death. But Occupy San Diego needed a martyr more than they needed the truth;

    At today’s memorial service, a Veterans for Peace member read the poem, Fidler’s Green, to honor Polk’s service in the Cavalry. He also read the Special Forces Prayer, in honor of Polk’s active duty service with the U.S. Special Operations Command.

    You know if VFP is involved, there’s something fishy going on. AKO has no record of a Jay Polk. The only person on AKO whose name with that rank is even remotely like MSG Jay Polk is a MSG Jeff Polk who is retired.

    The only reason I put a question mark in the title is that we don’t know if that was his real name or not. But you’ll notice the casualty list has no master sergeant listed either. It just sounds too fishy to ignore. Kevin has written to the magazine to get them off their asses to check into the story with their resources. Seems to me that a phony soldier getting the Occupy folks all upset is a bigger story than what they’ve written.

    The article says that his Facebook account has been taken down, yet here it is.

    Apparently, he wrote on his Facebook page that he was deploying to Syria, which has the Democratic Underground conspiracy theorists spinning. Yeah, I’m sure a real special forces soldier would reveal that tidbit on Facebook.

    This tiny entry on a local page of obit announcements in San Diego after the memorial ceremony;

    East Coast Magazine just this minute updated their article with a disclaimer;

    Update February 3, 2012: Sgt. Polk’s death has still not been reported by the Dept. of Defense, nor has any notice of his death appeared in his family’s hometown newspaper. A source has further informed ECM that his name has not been provided for addition to a memorial that honors fallen special services soldiers. Thus at this point, it appears likely that Polk did not die in service overseas. Perhaps he faked his death, or possibly someone else posted misleading information on his Facebook account. Where is he now? If anyone has conclusive evidence, please email editor@eastcountymagazine.org.

    ADDED: Apparently our buds at SOCNET are already on it.

  • DC residents tired of Occupy

    At least two residents of downtown DC decided to do what the cops can’t or won’t they decided to tear down the “Tent of Dreams” (actually an unsightly, filthy plastic tarp) that filthy hippies have stretched over the statue in the middle of McPherson Square on K Street in DC;

    Of course, he was led away by cops, but you’ll notice that they didn’t need to tase him or cuff to get him to come with them. I wonder why that is, he asked sarcastically. I guess it’s possible for some people in DC to make a clear statement without being an asshole and be willing to pay the consequences for his actions. The report says they’re not sure if he was charged with anything.
