  • Flag burning divides Occupy filthy hippies

    Yesterday, someone sent us a link to a Fox News story about some flag burning hippies in Charlotte, N.C. the perpetrator, Alex Tyler, 19, was quick to tell the media that his act wasn’t aimed at the military;

    “Those were actions taken on my behalf,” Occupy Charlotte member Alex Tyler said at a camp meeting, according to a Charlotte Observer report. “I did it to display my utter contempt for American greed, not (the military).”

    Tyler was arrested along with three of his unbathed accomplices on misdemeanor charges of having an open flame or some such shit. In the Charlotte Observer, Tyler said he did it because the hippies weren’t being radical enough;

    “I’ve seen this group lose its activism and become lazy,” said Tyler, adding that the other men told him, “We’re going to give Occupy Charlotte a wake-up call.”after.html#storylink=cpy

    Yeah, that’s pretty much what Matthis and Bobby Whittenburg tried to do for IVAW when they burned flags. Both found themselves ostracized. There are rumblings in Occupy Charlotte, from a link to the LA Times sent to us by Tman of the same reaction;

    Some protesters have vowed to leave the camp if the flag-burners are not ousted from the group, while others have vowed to leave if they are.

    Tyler addressed the gathering of the Great Unwashed after the incident;

    Alex Tyler, 19, one of the men arrested in the flag burning, spoke to the group during a meeting late Friday, telling them that although he is sorry for the adverse effects his actions may have on the movement, he is not sorry for having burned the flag.

    “Those were actions taken on my own behalf,” Alex Tyler said at the meeting, according to the Charlotte Observer. Tyler said he burned the flag to display contempt for American greed and not the military.

    Yeah, he sounds just like Matthis. This is what I wrote after the IVAW failed to eject Matthis the first time when I told the IVAW that they all burned the flag in Lafayette Park. It might be a good life lesson for the Occupy Movement, too.

  • Calling for revolution

    Here’s Carl Dix and Cornel West as they walk into a court room to answer for their crimes and as they walk in they’re promoting “revolution”.

    Carl Dix & Cornel West promo for film fundraiser indiegogo.com/basicsevent from basics on Vimeo.

    So who is Carl Dix? Well, he’s a former leader of the Revolutionary Communist Party and I wrote about him a few years back along with his connections to the Iraq Veterans Against the War. I also wrote about him and Matthis appearing at an event a year ago.

    And while we’re talking about revolution, Seth Manzel, a member of the IVAW board is threatening law enforcement with the possibility that the 99% is going to take to the streets with our weapons to take the country back;

    One problem, Seth, out of all of the gun owners in the country, how many do you think are so gullible that they’d take to the streets to enforce your intellectually vacant agenda? you broke-dick hippie turds need to buy your own guns.

    Thanks to one of my ninjas for all of that stuff.

  • Ward Reilly’s sex change operation successful

    One of my ninjas sent me this screen shot of Vets for Peace, Vietnam Veterans Against the War pretender and IVAW advisor Ward Reilly‘s Facebook page yesterday;

    I know that many of his friends will be surprised that Ward…er, Amy, was unhappy trapped in a white man’s body, but we here at TAH hope that he’s much happier in the body of a black teenage transvestite. Oh, and, we’re not really all that surprised at all.

  • IVAW potsmoker at Occupy DC

    Adam sends us a link to Gateway Pundit who links to Lagniappe’s Lair which reports that the “icon” of veterans in the Occupy DC protests, Michael Patterson, seen here in his IVAW hoodie was tossed out the Army for smoking pot;

    From an interview Patterson did;

    He tried to get out of the military as a conscientious objector after that. He was told it wouldn’t work because he’s an atheist. “So I just smoked a bunch of pot and got kicked out,” he says. He was officially discharged on June 7th of this year.

    Yeah, that’s what an “icon” does. The good news for parents is that Patterson aspires to be a teacher, so you may see him in your school.

  • IVAW faults their ignorance for their problems

    Huffington Post writes that IVAW is struggling for veterans by participating in the Occupy movement.

    [Dottie Guy,] The former military policewoman is just one of about 2,000 disgruntled veterans who say they’ve risked their lives and well-being only to come home to a country that profits from their sacrifices.

    Yeah, I’m sure there are 2000 active veteran members of the IVAW. Despte the flight from the organization over the last two years. But Guy blames her own ignorance for her financial straits;

    When she came home from Iraq in 2003 with an injured ankle and severe anxiety, Guy was not aware of the military health services that were available to her. She relied on her job’s health insurance to cover her surgery.

    Yeah, who knew that a veteran could go to the Department of Veteran Affairs for help? That’s news to me.

    But now that she knows she can go to the VA, she doesn’t like it;

    “The VA services are abysmal,” Guy said. “But yet the corporations who are making all this money from these wars are living high off the hog.”

    Yeah, you should have seen the VA before the year 2000, Dottie.

    Another veteran, Scott Kimball, says that he didn’t want to go to the VA;

    When Kimball returned from Iraq and was battling PTSD, he couldn’t bear confronting it.

    “I was scared to go to the VA,” Kimball said. “I didn’t want to be a messed up veteran.”

    Yet somehow, it’s the DVA fault he didn’t get treatment.

    I’m glad that the IVAW has finally discovered that there are actually veterans who need healthcare, but their message needs to be a little less erratic and more focused so we don’t appear to be a bunch of whiney brats.

    Thanks to Daniel for the link.

  • Strandlof occupies Denver

    Yeah, the dude wearing a tent over his head is Rick Strandlof the phony gay Marine captain, former member and mental health counselor of the IVAW and paid campaigner for VoteVets-chosen candidates.

    The last time we heard from him, he was impersonating a Jewish lawyer. Now, not surprisingly, according to the Denver Post, he’s supporting shiftless hippies.

    Thanks to James for the link.

  • Abdo planned initial attack at Campbell

    S.D. sends us a link to our buddy, Rusty Shackleford at The Jawa Report about Fort Hood terrorist Naser Abdo and his plot to kill his commander at Fort Campbell;

    You’ll notice that he laughs when asked if he planned the attacks and then goes on to detail how he planned to kidnap one of his commanding officers who had been to Afghanistan, and then video tape his execution. Apparently Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was also one of his inspirations.

    Another revelation is that he had attempted to recruit two other to join him for jihad. It makes you wonder who were the other men he attempted to recruit, did he know them from online connections, and did they report this to law enforcement?

    Well regular readers at TAH know that we already know the names, thanks to a tipster.; Wesley Solhan and Amir Tunis. Solhan was apprehended the same day as Abdo. From the Army Times;

    β€œOn July Fourth, I was going to kidnap (and) videotape the execution of a high-ranking member of my chain of command who participated in the Afghan mission,” Abdo said.

    From KXAN

    Abdo said he bought a cattle prod, handcuffs, and shovels for his Fort Campbell plan, but when military police learned he was visiting gun stores near Fort Campbell, he decided to go absent without leave.

    Rusty is right, as big a story as this story is, why aren’t we hearing more about it?

  • Yes, that was Jesse MacBeth you saw on Judge Judy

    Several of you have emailed me asking if that was THE Jesse MacBeth they saw on Judge Judy last week. Dude, like I watch Judge Judy, right? I’ve been looking for video of the program, but all I’ve been able to find is a Wikipedia entry;

    Macbeth appeared on the November 17, 2011 episode of “Judge Judy” after ex-girlfriend Tywanna Savage sued him in a dispute over a leased car. Macbeth filed a countersuit. Both cases were dismissed.

    So, if you find a video of IVAW’s favorite son, I’ll post it, but I suspect it’s twenty minutes of stuttering. Maybe it’ll make it to his next book that I’ll make TSO read.
