  • Ohes Noes! The hippie freaks are coming to Indy!

    From their utterly piss poor website, I give you this bit of genius…

    We are deploying a new tactic for the Occupation of Indianapolis. Its novel, its LEGAL and its very disruptive all at once if we do it right. The Human People Mover is a concept in which a line of volunteers will target a building or group of buildings in which the 1% operate their businesses which have caused the current damage to our society.

    Several things….why do you people not use apostropies? Seriously, is it so hard to write “It’s novel, it’s LEGAL and it’s very disruptive all at once if we do it right.” Those are contractions bitches, just add that extra step in and watch the %1 quake at your grammatical genius. (Not to be confused with Martin and Bill Gramatica.)

    Second of all, your (not yore, you’re, yor, ur etc.)  idea is dumb. But, let’s (notice the apostrophy, which denotes “let us”) look at what else you have…

    A single file line of as many people as possible will begin walking around the targeted building or buildings on the public sidewalks in as close proximity as possible to each other to form a moving barricade of constantly walking people. As long as we remain moving on the sidewalks we cannot be arrested. Remain standing in a group of 5 or more and they can take us to jail, but if we are each in motion and still together in a single file line it will disrupt regular foot traffic in the target area, making it difficult for the 1% and their minions to conduct their business.

    Um, your event is on a Saturday, won’t (a contraction for “will not”) the 1 percenters be out on their yachts? Ok, but I am down with this plan, where’s all this happening?

    Below is a map of the proposed route for the HPM. I have indicated target buildings in the Downtown Zone of Occupation with blue placemarks. We will make daily announcements of targeted buildings on the ground in the DZO and on this blog and associated social media pages once the Occupation begins.

    Um, why would you protest the Indy Hilton? The Federal Bldg and Courthouse are closed on Saturday.

     Actually, am I the only one who notes a lack of a blue placemark target building? I’ll give you one, and you’ll make it easier for me to cover you. The top righthand part of your map, 700 North Pennsylvania. Please go there.  I’ll be the guy on the second floor laughing as you dirty hippies walk single file line outside my office.

    OK dirty hippies, I will find you.  How many trust fund babies in tie dyed shirts walking single file can be found in Indy on a Saturday?  Should be easy to locate the 5 of you that show up for this asinine event.

  • Marines to “protect” Wall Street protesters

    You’ve probably heard that there were hundreds of protesters arrested on Wall Street> well, Ward reilly, the phony Vietnam Veteran and phony Ranger, in a link sent by Toothless Dawg, posted on his Facebook page that a group of former marines are headed to Wall Street to supposedly “protect” the protesters” from police;

    “I’m heading up there tonight in my dress blues. So far, 15 of my fellow marine buddies are meeting me there, also in Uniform. I want to send the following message to Wall St and Congress:I didn’t fight for Wall St. I fought for America. Now it’s Congress’ turn.

    My true hope, though, is that we Veterans can act as first line of defense between the police and the protester. If they want to get to some protesters so they can mace them, they will have to get through the Fucking Marine Corps first. Let’s see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets.I apologize now for typos and errors.

    Typing this on iPhone whilst heading to NYC. We can organize once we’re there. That’s what we do best.If you see someone in uniform, gather together.

    A formation will be held tonight at 10PM.

    We all took an oath to uphold, protect and defend the constitution of this country. That’s what we will be doing.

    Yeah, guys, who wants to protect the rest of us who depend on the activity on Wall Street? You know, those of us who have 401ks and mutual funds. Um, grow up, fellas. if you’re somehow attached to Ward Reilly, the phony, you’re on shaky ground in the first place. What are you going to “protectt” the protesters from, anyway? From being arrested for breaking the law? Nice way to “defend the Constitution”. When you Marines get to New york and the protest, look around at the ash and trash hippies you’re “protecting”. Most are professional protesters and rumors persist that many of them are Canadians – so you’re going to defend the Constitution by protecting Canadians from arrest?

    Someone asked me if Adam Kokesh is going to be there in New York. Apparently not. he was in DC protesting against Obama along with GWU students, according to this video sent by one of my ninjas;

  • Ah, the follies of Youth.

    I got this reply to a comment I made about this photo of some shirtless wonder being arrested at the Wall Street Protest. Mind you before you start that this person is still in High School. (I spaced it out for a easier read)

    warren, no offence, but that’s a rather ignorant view… Professional protesters? Really? I’d sooner believe over half of them were there to pick up chicks. This is why I don’t support non-violent protests.

    March as an army or not at all. I want no more martyrs and real changes. And if tearing everything down is the only way to make some changes, then so be it. And I guarentee some of these “hippies” (that just got assaulted for doing something that is specifically protected in the bill of rights) are starting to think more militantly as well. Hopefully they do something with those ideas within my lifetime (talking the next 20-30 years).

    I have been jumped by cops, I have had cops give false testimony in court after being beat by my gfs mom and stepdad, I have been profiled and prejudicely accosted by police for looking like I fit their statistics. Don’t even try to say that the police didn’t instigate it and assault foolish kids and true patriots. Pigs were probably just bored of sitting around and figured they’d get the show over with… And of course a big problem is that the protesters did leave. They should have brought tents. And as far as I’m concerned, they should have brought an armoury and taken the building. THIS is exactly what “the right to bear arms” is all about. A gun was practically a necessary tool for survival when the bill of rights was wrote, it has nothing to do with owning a gun, really. And for the record, I don’t think guns would be the best means of fire power anyways… I don’t feel much sympathy for these people.

    This is how American “non-violent” protest ends. the other side (police) instigates the violence and drag them away bloody and burned (if not gassed and shot with rubber bullets). History has a tendency to repeat its self. They knew it was coming, even if they WANTED to believe that THIS protest would be different. The time has passed for such nieve optomism. And you know, it’s funny how none of the cops ever make it to protect planned parenthood from protesters (or for similar protests) Simple fact is, the police are not here to protect and serve the people. They are against the people, even in every day interaction. And the judicial system is a running joke. And we’re basically back to the “nobility” stage. It’s time to remove this taint on our country! I say people need to start being MORE radical!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Do you prefer the “hippies” now?

    She reminds me ofBobby Whittenberg but double the douch.

  • VFP tries to arrest Rumsfeld

    Daniel sends us a link to a report that the Geezers for Sitting on Our Hands (Veterans For Peace) tried to conduct a citizens’ arrest of Donald Rumsfeld in Boston last night;

    “I went down in front and looked Donald Rumsfeld in the eye and said, ‘I’m making a citizen’s arrest,’” protester Nate Goldschlag told WCVB-TV.

    “He lied us into Iraq. He lied about weapons of mass destruction. He lied about Saddam Hussein being involved in 9/11.”

    Three of the protesters removed from the event were with Veterans for Peace and a fourth was a member of Code Pink. One protester was arrested outside the event for allegedly using a bullhorn to assault a police officer.

    Goldschlag forgot to mention that Rumsfeld was on the grassy knoll in Dallas and staged the moon landing in Arizona.

    Of course, the people who wanted to hear what Rumsfeld had to say booed the four tiny-penised protesters.

    I only wish that they’d had the gumption to try that shit at the Milblog Conference when Rumsfeld spoke to us, but that was early on a Saturday morning, you know the hippies couldn’t drag themselves out for a principled stand at 8am.

    Here’s the protester’s side of the discussion below the jump;

  • Bar codes and bullets

    Do-gooders Yvonne Carrington Payne and Carolyn Funches, establish their creds as do-gooders in an article sent to us by Daniel about their latest efforts. Apparently, they cook dinner for the homeless, make women’s shelters, and raise money for the needy. but what that has to do with their efforts to put barcodes on bullets, I have no idea.

    Specifically, they want bar codes on bullets as a way of tracking killers and reducing gun violence.

    “There are too many unsolved shootings,” Funches said. “Take the bullets and trace them back. It will connect people to who bought the ammunition.”

    Yeah, but like everything else, law abiding citizens are the ones who will foot the bill for it. If I shoot someone, you won’t need a bar code because I’ll be the first to tell the police that I did it, but, I’ll also be paying for the ammo makers to put the bar code on bullets. Even if the barcoding begins today, there are millions of unmarked bullets out there. I have ammo I bought nearly twenty years ago, not to mention the thousands I’ve bought in recent months that won’t be marked.

    This is just do-gooders feeling good about themselves by “doing something” even if it’s just pissing in the wind.

  • NYT: Whatever Happened to the American Left?

    The New york Times asks this morning “Whatever Happened to the American Left?” lamenting the failure of the Left to mount an effective march in the streets to restore the Left’s agenda to forefront of the American discussion of economics, Michael Kazin writes;

    …except for the demonstrations and energetic recall campaigns that roiled Wisconsin this year, unionists and other stern critics of corporate power and government cutbacks have failed to organize a serious movement against the people and policies that bungled the United States into recession.

    Instead, the Tea Party rebellion — led by veteran conservative activists and bankrolled by billionaires — has compelled politicians from both parties to slash federal spending and defeat proposals to tax the rich and hold financiers accountable for their misdeeds. Partly as a consequence, Barack Obama’s tenure is starting to look less like the second coming of F.D.R. and more like a re-run of Jimmy Carter — although last week the president did sound a bit Rooseveltian when he proposed that millionaires should “pay their fair share in taxes, or we’re going to have to ask seniors to pay more for Medicare.”

    How do we account for the relative silence of the left?

    Well, Michael, it could be that the last ten years of vacuous protests against the war against terror have proved useless and pointless. maybe the hippies of the sixties are finally realizing that maybe they didn’t change much at all by being obnoxious little twerps. maybe they realize that the protests were more about assuaging their feelings than actual tangible accomplishments. Not to mention that they don’t understand the discussion at all and the “fixes” that they espouse are just duct tape solutions.

    Also, when you take into account that every word used to criticize this administration is chalked up to racism, that also serves to slence your own side. And, oh, everyone is pretty sure we’re already paying “our fair share” considering what we get from government these days.

  • The smell of jailed hippies in the morning

    Hippies in chains

    Nothing makes me happier than to see hippies thrown in the hoosegow, so this week is promising to be a good one. this happened at the Wall Street protest Saturday, where the hippies are trying to see how long they can go without taking showers and force Wall Street to shut down. The young lady in this video seems to be angry that someone stole her tits.

    Yes, yelling “Let her go” always impresses the police and doesn’t make them want to arrest more people. I guess about 90 of the filthy creatures were arrested according to the Financial Times.

    The video didn’t finish running for me either, so it’s not just you.

  • The “Day of Rage” at Wall Street

    The New York Times reports that the months-in-planning “Day of Rage” that the hacker group Anonymous sponsored in New York City in the financial district kind of sputtered out when protesters discovered their access to parts of Wall Street was denied by police officers who beat them to the area;

    By 10 a.m., metal barricades manned by police officers ringed the blocks of Wall Street between Broadway and William Street to the east. (In a statement, Paul J. Browne, the Police Department’s chief spokesman said, “A protest area was established on Broad Street at Exchange Street, next to the stock exchange, but protesters elected not to use it.”)

    Organizers, promoters and supporters called the day, which had been widely discussed on Twitter and other social media sites, simply September 17. Some referred to it as the United States Day of Rage, an apparent reference to a series of disruptive protests against the Vietnam War held in Chicago in 1969.

    The idea, according to some organizers, was to camp out for weeks or even months to replicate the kind, if not the scale, of protests that erupted earlier this year in places as varied as Egypt, Spain and Israel.

    Yeah, that’s what we need the spectacle of filthy hippies camped out in the world’s richest city. It’s bad enough that our government is leading us to third world status, we don’t need halfwit hippies driving the hand basket.

    Daniel sends us a link to some first hand reporting from Business Insider complete with pictures.

    I noticed that Workers World party took the opportunity to preach to us about how “A job is a right”. I wonder if they think that gun ownership is a right, too.

    I snagged one picture of special interest to us filthy hippie haters. I put it below the jump for a single reason…once you see it, you can’t unsee it, so you have to consciously make the decision that you want to see the picture below the jump. It’s probably not safe for work, and you’ll need a gallon jug of eye bleach handy. And maybe a barf bag, too.
