The Daily Caller is reporting that they’ve found paid Hispanic laborers among the crowds at Freedom Plaza at the Occupy DC protests;
Asked why they were there, some Hispanic protesters holding up English protest signs could not articulate what their signs said.
Interviewed in Spanish, the protesters told conflicting stories about how their group was organized. Some said it was organized at their church, and that they were there as volunteers. Others, however, referred to the man from the DC Tenants Advocacy Coalition — the only Caucasian in the group — as their “boss.”
TheDC asked that organizer whether he was paying the group to attend the protest, and he conceded that some protesters “aren’t” volunteers.
“Some of them are volunteers. Some of them aren’t,” he explained. “I can’t identify them. I’m not going to get into an identification game.”
So not only do they not have any real leadership at these protests, they also don’t have any followers. Or an agenda, apparently. I guess it’s just a big, fat gathering of filthy hippies on a massive social call. They have paid Mexican laborers to carry their signs so they have more time to hook up nd socialize. Lazy gringos.
Old Trooper sends us a link to an article from NYC’s local CBS station that warns that “smelly hippies” is more than just a cliche apparently. Brookfield Office Properties, the owners of Zuccotti Park, where the filthy creatures have made their home, are concerned that the park is becoming unsanitary;
“Sanitation is a growing concern,” Brookfield said in a statement. “Normally the park is cleaned and inspected every weeknight. . . because the protestors refuse to cooperate. . .the park has not been cleaned since Friday, September 16th and as a result, sanitary conditions have reached unacceptable levels.”
When I saw that picture, I thought of John Lennon’s Revolution;
You say you’ll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You’d better free your mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao
You ain’t gonna make it with anyone anyhow
Even John Lennon would tell you that carrying a sign imprinted with Ernie Guevara’s mug isn’t going to win you many fans.
As most of you probably know, this weekend is going to be a busy one for the hippies across the country as they try to to garner support for the hippies making a general nuissance of themselves in NYC. In towns like DC, Indianapolis, Chicago, etc…they plan to spread their cancer. Well, we sure would love it if you can make it to the protests and take pictures (no not shoot them with a gun…for some reason, it’s still illegal to shoot hippies with guns).
So take your cameras and your phones out to the local protest and send the pictures of outrageous signs and filthy, dirty hippies (cleavage is always appreciated, too, if you can find some among the bean-sprout eating crowds) to me at jonn(at)thisainthell(dot)us and I’ll put your pictures up as soon as I recieve them.
I know there are a bunch of you in DC right now…so go over to Freedom Plaza during your lunch today and shoot us some hippies.
Old Trooper sends us a link that reports that MoveOn.org has finally dragged their crusty asses to the protests against Wall Street. Fox News mentions that the unions have “lent their muscle” to the protests. So who is really surprised that the protests broke out in violence last night as police arrested scores for disorderly conduct.
One police officer suffered minor injuries after being knocked off a scooter, according to the newspaper.
Wall Street Protest.jpg
Oct. 5: Christian Blackfeather Ruiz, 19, from Bronx, New York, searches for a spot to camp among participants in the Occupy Wall Street Protest at Zuccotti Park in lower Manhattan. “I am here for a global economy,” said Ruiz.
At one point, protesters were reportedly Maced and threatened with police batons when about 150 marchers demanded access to Wall Street from Broadway.
I remember the 70s when it was union members who finally put a halt to the Vietnam War protests in New York City by cracking heads…now they’re on the other side attacking the police. ANd they wonder why we call them “the good old days”.
Total crock of shit, but y’all knew that from minute one.
You might recall from the other day that the Occupy Indy thugs said that the goal of their single file line idiocy was:
Remain standing in a group of 5 or more and they can take us to jail, but if we are each in motion and still together in a single file line it will disrupt regular foot traffic in the target area, making it difficult for the 1% and their minions to conduct their business.
Well, that post has gone down the memory hole. But what makes it all the more fun is that hippie spokesdouche Joh Padgett talked to the local NBC affiliate. And lookee here:
Joh Padgett checked out Veterans Memorial Park Tuesday to scout how to set up Saturday’s protest. He’s on the organizing committee for Occupy Indianapolis.
“We want to show support. We want to air our grievances that are definitively Hoosier-flavored grievances,” he said.
“We do not meant to disrupt their lives, but we have to, because they are working in support positions of the one percent,” Padgett said. The Occupy Wall Street protest turned ugly, with a number of arrests. Cameras recorded confrontations between protestors and police. After Saturday’s rehearsal, Occupy Indianapolis will target downtown buildings and block people from entering and leaving.
“For example, if we target Chase Tower, then we would have a single-file line of people blocking the entrance to Chase Tower,” Padgett said. Police won’t talk about the Occupy Indy protest, but did reveal they are holding meetings at police headquarters about the event, which organizers hope will be arrest-free. “We don’t want any violence, we don’t want any disruption. We don’t want to obstruct traffic, we simply want to disrupt traffic,” Padgett said.
But oh, that is so yesterday. Since then, they shitcanned the earlier post, and put up this bit of nonsense:
It is Occupy Indianapolis’ goal to violate no laws in our upcoming actions. During an interview on WTHR-TV, channel 13 in Indianapolis, Occupy Indianapolis spokesman Joh Padgett did not say the organization would block access to any building. During reporter comments on the story it was reported Padgett said we would “Block” entrances to buildings. That is a violation of law, and Padgett at no time stated we would block any entrance or exit from any building. The “People mover” strategy is a continually moving, single file line of people. This is within the confines of local law. We will, at no time, prevent anyone from entering or exiting any building, nor will we at any time interfere with vehicular traffic along our route.
That is of course blatent horseshit. It was their intent to disrupt pedestrian traffic, they states as much on their blog, then their spokesman said as much, and then the disavowed what they had written, removed it from the internet, disavowed what their spokesman said, and then forced the TV channel to append their article to add this:
Note: In our original story, we stated that protesters planned to block workers from entering buildings. This is incorrect, according to organizers, and we apologize for the error.
So, what could have possibly changed? Well, seems the dumb ass hippies finally got around to looking up the law that I had looked up last week regarding criminal confinement. We know this because of a post they put up to replace their asinine “People Mover Single File Line Plan of Awesomeness” post.
Do not congregate in front of buildings and do not block people from entering or exiting buildings. Do not obstruct people from passing by you and impairing his/her rights from passing by you.
In other words: Do not obstruct flow of traffic on streets or sidewalks!!!
A direct quote from a National Lawyer’s Guild attorney: “When, and if, they disrupt safe and efficient flow of traffic on either, police may intervene to protect public safety.”
Stupid dirty assed hippies got themselves a communist front lawyers group to help them out. How all you Paulians feeling about joining them now, eh?
BTW- You should also go listen to my buddy Abdul, as he interviews Hippie Spokesdouche.
I know you see that widget at the bottom of the right sidebar that tells you how many other people are reading this blog when you’re reading. Ever wonder who they are? Well, some of them might be filthy hippies from the Village Voice;
Yeah. well, I wasn’t giggling, buttmunch. Hippies make me ill, that’s why I have a whole category of posts that grouped under “I hate hippies” that’s because I really do hate hippies. Especially this new brand of hippies who are employed by and encouraged by the unions. I remember when unions were a good thing. My father was in the IBEW his whole life after the Navy, but these aren’t the unions I waas brought up to respect. they’re thugs, selfish political thugs pushing a Democrat agenda…my father and his father were life-long Republicans and i don’t think they’d be welcomed in today’s unions.
If the Tea Party can be accused of support from Right Wing elements (I’m still waiting for my check, by the way) then what makes the hippies on Wall Street and the thugs in Wisconsin immune from the same accusations? Those suits who sit in the unions’ national offices who’ve never spent a day wearing a tool belt and working in the crafts pay their way.
All of those useless fucks in New York City could use a couple of weeks of basic training so they can see what real hardship is all about, how tough life really is, what’s reeally important. Of course, i wouldn’t want to be their drill sergeant and have to listen to their whining and bitching.
Anyway, you should really wash your hands after visiting TAH, who knows what those filthy hippies left in here.
